Zelda walked into the great hall and waited for Oddie.

Phoenix nodded.
"i'm fine, just Violet and her father"said phoenix"and you?"

Skie walked into the great hall warily, looking for any familiar faces. Spotting Rose and Pheonix, Skie quickly sat down and said, "Hey peoples. What's up?"

Phoenix smiled.
"Nothing much, i just missed the post" said phoenix "You?"

"Not a lot..." Skie replied. "Well, minus keeping up with the usual homework and stuff..." Skie made a face as she muttered the word homework, being as dirty a word as it was.

Phoenix laughed.
"what homework are you doing?"

"Foreign languages, and some other stuff that I still have to look through before tomorrow..." Skie said, mentally check listing all of the things that she needed to do. "Yup... that's about it for me... So do you have any homework?"

Phoenix nodded.
"Potions, but professor snape always let me get away with it if i have not done it" said phoenix

Rose smiled. "I'm done with my homework for now." Then, blushing, she added, "Professor Snape is a wonderful teacher. My favorite, if I do say so myself."

"Only 'cuz you've got the hots for old Snape, Rose," said Skie, smiling mischeviously.

Emmalynn had walked into the Great Hall when a girl she didn't know said something about a student 'having the hots' for Snape. She choked on the water she was drinking and spit it up all over the floor.

"Excuse me?!" she exclaimed, "Who's got the hots for Severus?" she asked in disbelief.

Rose's face turned uber red. "I-I do not!" She gave Skie a stern look and glanced at Emmalynn. "Do-don't listen to her! I do not!"

Rose twitched. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh...." Speachless, she shook Emmalynn's hand.

Phoenix just watched Rose' and couldn't help giggling.
"Oh Rose Snape, its got a nice ring too it" said phoenix

"Yes! Yes I do! I don't like him! Hes just my favorite Professor! Is that such a crime!?!"

Rose, carfully on her guard, replied "Well, yeah, I think potions is great." Then she added quickly, "Transfiguration is awesome too!"

Emmalynn nodded when Rose said she liked Transfiguration. It hadn't escaped her attention when Rose missed classes once a month. That and Severus was making Wolfsbane again and Lupin wasn't here anymore... She fixed a knowing look at Rose.

"I'm a Potions Master already. Youngest since 1802..." she said offhandedly in case Rose didn't want to talk, but still leaving the option open.

Rose's eyes gleamed. "Wait, really!?! Thats awesome!" She was of course very smart and loved her classes, but had never gotten tidle for 'best in class' or 'smartest care for creatures girl' or anything like that.

"Yeah, I took the exam last month... Full points and more. I've created a new potion too. Well, my first one without Sev's help," Emmalynn said. "I haven't announced it to the world yet, but... it's life-altering!"

Emmalynn smiled. She may not like bragging, but this was an extraordinary breakthrough. She had definite gloating rights.

Rose put her elbows on the table and rested her head on her hands. "Uh-huh. Fasinating" Rose was obsorbed in the talk about school and potions.

Emmalynn leaned forward as well. This potion could help Rose.

"Rosalie, only a select number of people know what my potion does, but I want to tell you. Will you keep it a secret?" she asked.

"Totally", Rose said, smiling. "But don't tell me if you feel uncomfortable. I'll understand."

"Ohhhhh", said Rose, leaning forward. "Cooool."

Rose blinked, the stood up quickly, almost knocking the a bowl of food over. "You. Mean. Like...." Shaking, Rose sat back down, slowly. "How did you know what I was?"

Rose looked at the table, thinking hard. She glanced over at Skie, her friend, her very best friend, who also had the same problem as her. Then, she looked at Trevor, the boy who had bitten her. Rose's throat got hard, and she sighed.

"I don't know, Emmalynn. Do you...mind if I dicuss it with, um, someone?"

"Thanks", Rose said, smiling. "I really must say that that is so kind of you to offer it. I never would have thought..."

"No way." Rose thought hard trying to fugure out how Emmalynn could just make something that incredible on accident.

Emmalynn shrugged. "I wasn't planning on it, but... I'd been messing with ingredients when it started looking like Wolfsbane, so I just fooled around and tested it against some werewolf DNA. To my amazement, the DNA turned human."

"Wowzers. "

Rose's body tightened, and she nodded. "Yeah, I'll go talk to them." She stood up, and went to sit down beside her friend.

"Hey Skie, we need to talk..."
