Just a reminder that I am always here if you have any questions. Feel free to pm me or to use the office thread with any questions you might have about anything. Also, you can volunteer class suggestions at anytime. I will check them often and give points to ideas I use. Other than that HAVE FUN! Let the lesson begin...

| PART 1 1.Human Transfiguration is dangerous because in some cases, the person using it could either: say the spell wrong, the wand movement wrong, or have not practice the spell and could turn the person into something they wasn’t indented. Most students do not pass their O.W.L’s for this subject and has to drop it. To get most jobs in the Ministry has to be good at doing this or they can not get the jobs they want. Some students are just born with the nature of how to do most spells and others are not. If you can not do Human Transfiguration, there is a chance you could kill the person and have them deformed. Neville Longbottom is one of the students who are not good at the subject and had to drop it. Ron, Harry, and Hermione are good at it, but in some cases, messes up at it. If you do not like this subject, then you should not try this. 2.Starting with the eyebrows is the easiest and simplest spell for Human Transfiguration. If you mess up on this spell, then you should drop this subject. Ron, on the other hand, did something wrong and instead of changing his eyebrows, he gave himself something else.(Not saying the answer because it’s the next question!) Further more, Harry and Hermione were one of the students who got the spell right. Changing your eyebrows is the safest Human Transfiguration spell known to man kind. You have to work in front of mirrors to do so. At first, you don’t get the spell, but after about five tries, you should be able to do the spell. Most people find this the easiest and after the first week of the spell, other spells get harder. This could be on the N.E.W.T’s for the seventh years because it was the most simplest spell ever invented for Human Transfiguration. 5.purple, because purple is rockin. PART 2 eyebrows-Eyebo around the eyes-lino lips-lipo cheeks-blushero

| Part 1: Oral Quiz
1. In your own words, tell me why you think human transfiguration is so dangerous.
Human transfiguration is a dangerous subject because there is so much that can go horribly, horribly wrong so very easily. It is always a risk when altering something from its natural form, and because we are such complex creatures, the risk is very high with this type of transfiguration. As with splinching, body parts can be, not left behind, but disappear. In most cases the parts can be recovered by a specialized medi-witch, but there are some witches and wizards out in the world missing limbs because they had tried to transfigure them to be slimmer, a different color, whatever they were doing. Other changes can also be permanent if not performed correctly. For instance, colors of parts of the body can easily be changed. To the unskilled witch or wizard, however, one mispronunciation could leave a foot a putrid shade of green forever. Therefore, human transfiguration is best left to the professionals.
2. Explain why it is smart to start with the eyebrows?
As I said before, human transfiguration is very dangerous and risky. That said, it makes total sense to start out small, like by changing the color of an eyebrow or two. Changing color is the easiest form of transfiguration, and changing the color of hair even more so. With the supervision and guidance of a proper teacher, and the patience and skill of any normal student, this should not turn out to be a frustrating matter. Teachers want their students to enjoy the subject, and so try to make things a good mix of difficulty and fun – and what could be more fun than changing the color of you and your friends eyebrows? Students usually learn this skill in their sixth year, which is a good starting point for human transfiguration. By then, children’s features are settling in to what they will be like as adults. This makes it a prime time to start.
