littleprincess_01 vs. Shadow Granger

You will be allowed a maximum of 6 posts each and you may use both spells created by you and known spells from HP.

You will not be marked purely on how long your posts are, yet you will be marked on the following:

* Eye for surroundings
* Defensive and offensive spells (both what spells are used and how well they are used)
* Knowledge of spells
* Eye for detail (both your own posts and others posts)
* Inventiveness and creativeness as a whole

Please avoid one sentence posts. Try to develop your duelling posts into more than one paragraph.

Your duel may now begin!

Shadow strode into the Duelling chamber, looking around. Seeing that her opponent had yet to come, she walked around, taking in her surroundings, seeing what she could use to her advantage.
"Hmmm..."She thought to herself, I can use that bookcase... The chairs will make a good temporary defense..."
Shadow sat down and started to play with her wand until her opponent decided to show up.

Aliza hurried to the Duelling arena - she was terribly late and had actualy completely forgotten about the duel. Sighing she approached the door and put her ear to it gently - she could hear no sounds but assumed that her opponent was already in there, she doubted that anyone would have been as late as she was!!

She took a few moments to try and think of a defensive spell - something to ensure that she wouldn't get attacked the second she walked through the door. Unfortunately, her mind was drawing up a blank - she would have to do something simple and hope to God that it would work. Firstly, in an attempt to remain unseen she performed a Disillusionment charm on herself. She felt the strange sensation of something cold trickling down her back and shuddered - she hated that feeling. But at least it showed that the charm had worked!! Next, pointing her wand at the door she whispered "Silencio" and opened it, it slid open without a click or a creak. Opening it only the tiniest fraction she slid through, making as little noise as possible. When she got in she saw her opponent sitting down, twirling her wand. She was shocked - it didn't seem like she had done any defensive spells to make the arena more suited to her will. Not that Aliza was complaining, it would just make the duel easier for her! Still, just to be on the safe side she pointed her wand into the middle of the arena and said - under her breath so that Shadow wouldn't hear - "Revelius" (Reveal). Nothing happened, that meant that the arena was perfectly clean of any spells. Not even a simple shield charm. Perfect.

Next Aliza got into her "attacking mode". She glanced around and saw the bookshelf in one corner of the room and grinned. Pointing her wand at the bookshelf she whispered "Esercito" (Army - Italian) and watched as the books began piling out, fighting for her as an army. Unfortunately the books hadn't transfigured fully and instead were just books with arms and legs, but she could still use that. As the books began marching toward Shadow Aliza realised that Shadow would definitely know of her arrival by now. Pointing her wand at Shadow she shouted, "Relashio!" and watched as a jet of fiery sparks shot out at her. Realising then that it would not do the damage that she required she shot another spell at Shadow "Cerchio di fuoco" (Circle of Fire - Italian) and watched as Shadow was encircled by fire.

As soon as all this was done Aliza realised that she had made a terrible mistake! She had shouted out, revealing her position to Shadow, she quickly moved away from the door - still unseen from her disillusionment charm and headed toward the center of the arena. Pointing her wand at her own throat shw whispered "Stem Overal" (Voice everywhere - Dutch). She also added, "Eco" (Echo- Italian). This therefore ensured that Shadow would not be able to tell her position from the sound of her voice. Smiling a little hesitantly, hoping that it would work she said "Hey Shadow, it's great to finally meet you! Aren't you having such fun?" she said, making her voice sickly sweet. She flinched slightly as her voice seemed to come out of the walls, echoing around the room. It made it seem VERY eerie...

Shadow leapt to her feet at the sound of some one casting spells, and also at the army of books coming towards her. Her mind began to panic slightly, but she squashed the feeling, searching the confines of her mind for the right spell. Finding it, she drew her wand, whispering the spell under her breath so that her opponent wouldn't be able to hear it.
"leathnaigh teann páirc !" (Expand force field ~ gaelic) and watched the ripple of air blow the books away in a neat circle.
"Homo Revelio!" She said, waiting for the spell to work.

The duel is now over. Scores will be posted in the scoreboard shortly.
