HEBB 2 : Garden

Pamela stood up from where she had been sitting. She wandered over to where Dani, Violet and Kim were talking. "Hey guys! How's it going?" She asked, waving and grinning goofily (is that even a word?)

"Hey Pam." Violet siad. "How are you?" She asked,

"Oh, I'm okay. A bit bored, but you know," she replied. "Anything new?"

Violet sat in a chair. "No" Violet siad.

Pamela shrugged. "Same here," she said. "Now if only I could find a little love," she added. "That would make my stay quite pleasant."

Violet laughed. "How do you like? I never got around to ask."

"Well...there was someone I thought I might be interested in when I first moved in," Pamela began hesitantly. "But...we really haven't gotten the chance to even get to know each other. In fact there are very few people I've gotten a chance to get to know," she continued. "I don't think many people have really warmed up to me."

"Who?" Violet asked.

"I don't know if I should say," Pamela said. "It might get back to someone who might not like it very much."

As she said this, she looked around as if one of those people might just come up behind her at any minute.

"You can tell me in my ear. I want tell." Violet siad.

"Well, I guess there really can't be any harm in that." She pulled up a chair next to Violet and leaned over. In her ear, she whispered, "It's Kaylee."

(I was hesitant in real life because I don't want to make her nervous if she sees this or something like that.)

Violet giggled. "Is that all?" Violet asked. "Nothing wrong with it." Violet told her

"Well, no, of course there's nothing wrong with it," Pamela said. "I just don't think that she'd ever go for me, that's all." Then Pamela proceeded to stare at her feet.

"Peolpe have got to be crazy to not like you. You are cool to hang around." Violet told her.

"Yeah, but she doesn't know that. And besides, I don't even know if she has that little important bit in common with me," Pamela said. She sighed.

"Do you want to swim a bit?" She asked Violet after being silent a while.

"Sure, doesnt bother me." Violet siad and jumped in.

Pamela took off the tank top and shorts she had been wearing over her bikini. Then she took several steps back, started to run and leapt into the air, performing a beautiful cannonball. When she resurfaced she asked, "what's my score?"

"Umm I'll give you a 10." Violet said.

Pamela laughed as she treaded water. "Very lady-like of me, no?" she joked.

Violet huffed and grabbed the float she had claim as her own.

Pamela continued to tread water for a bit. Then she dove downward, and began to walk on her hands. With a little push off from the bottom, she did a little underwater flip and came back up.

Violet looked at Pam and laughed. "Having fun?" She asked.

"Yep!" Pamela replied with a cheesy smile. "I like water. It's my favourite thing in the world probably. Of course, the ocean's much better than a pool."

"I think I wanna break up with Dani." Violet said.

"Oh?" Pamela said. "Why's that?"

"We dont talk much. I dont know. We just drifted apart I guess?" Violet siad.

"Oh, okay," Pamela replied. "Do you know how she feels?"

"No." Violet signed. "We have only kissed, but we havent talked much. I dont think she likes me anymore either." Violet told Pam

"Hmm...well, if that's how you feel then there's no point in continuing something," Pamela said.

"Yeah." Violet said adn flipped off her float.

"Are there any other floats?" Pamela asked.

"Umm I dont know." Violet said. Looking around, she saw a pink one. "Theres one." Violet told her

Pamela swam to the edge and got out. Then she grabbed the pretty pink float Violet had pointed out. Plopping it in the water, Pamela hopped back in. She had a struggle getting onto the float; she often did. Finally she managed to get on it. "So, anything else going on?" she asked Violet.

"Not as I know of." Violet said and grabbed a beach ball.

Pamela continued to float awhile, looking up at the sky. Her mind was wondering as it so often did. That was actually why she talked so much. If she didn't, thoughts ended up all over the place. "So do you like being here?" She asked randomly.

"Yeah. Its ok. Not many peolpe thought" Violet said.

Pamela replied with a noncommital sound and shrug. "Are you homesick at all?" she asked. Really Pamela was just trying to make conversation, but was running out of things to talk about. It was probably starting to show.

"Nope. You?" Violet asked. Getting back on her float she laid down.

"Not really," Pamela replied. "But then, everyone I care about outside of the house is so far away, it doesn't make a difference where I am. I do miss my bed, though. But, then again, I have Quidgey."

"Who?" Violet asked.

"Well, mainly my family. I hardly ever see any of them anyway, so being here doesn't make me miss them any more than I would otherwise," Pamela replied. "Or was that 'who?' in regards to Quidgey?"

"Who has in who is Quidgey a duck?" Violet asked.

"No," Pamela replied. "That's Mr. Floppy. Quidgey is a frog. He reminds me of a quidditch field for some odd reason, and he's squishy. So I combined the two and came up with Quidgey." She grinned. "Then there's my tribble, Worf."

"I dont wanna know anymore." Violet said laughing

"I'm not surprised you don't know what a tribble is," Pamela laughed. "You wouldn't get the joke with its name, either. It's a Star Trek thing. See, tribbles are these little fluffballs, kinda like a puffskien. Klingons are afraid of them. Well, Worf is a Klingon, so it's an amusing ironic name."

"Um I had a pet rock named Rocky." Violet told Pam.

"Clever," Pamela said, smirking. "Back home I have to Bettas named Alpha and Omega. Get it? Cause beta is a greek letter and so are Alpha and Omega."

Violet nodded, not getting it at all but acted like she did. "So, anything else new?"Violet asked.

"Nope, not really," Pamela replied. "It's getting kinda chilly. I think I'm gonna head inside and grab a cup of tea," she said after a bit.
