Hogwarts Years: THIRD YEAR

Ralph and Zelda Rundell walked into the great Hall and Zelda sat at the Gryffindor table and Ralph at the Ravenclaw table.

Elladora looked over to the Slytherin table, fully aware that Emmalynn would be there and burst out laughing when she saw a speck of bread in Draco's hair. With a bit of a long sigh, she waved good-bye to her housemates and went over to Draco.

Completely ignoring, his flunkies, she flicked the back of his head. "Hey, Rake," she greeted, jokingly, "you didn't do your job so well."

"YO! Third year!"

Emmalynn snorted into her pumpkin juice as Draco glared at Elladora.

"Emmalynn, get your freaky, Ravenclaw friend away from me," he said through gritted teeth. Emmalynn just snorted into her juice again and said,

"Relax, Dray. Ella's just teasing you. You should be used to it by now... We've only been doing it for, what, seven years?"

S.master walked to Eliza." Yo, I m nearly still new Third year too."

Emmalynn glanced up and saw Eliza, the new girl, and S.master, the annoying one, sit at the table. She shook her head and tuned back in to what her cousin was saying.

"- and to top it off, she treats me like she's superior to me! That little Ravenclaw is below me and she should act like it!" Draco babbled.

"Maybe you're not as superior as you think you are if she bothers you that much..." Emmalynn told him, turning her focus back to the food on her plate.

S.master took a seat in the Slytherin table. "Oy, no food improvement for third years. They are just the same as second year's food."

"Right, I can if you stop complaining about me," S.master throw some ice-cream into his mouth.

Elladora watched Draco in amusement, in had become quite a hobby to annoy him. "Yes, Draco you are a prat. Unless you'd rather I call you a nit," Elladora added, purely for the sake of insulting him once more.

Elladora's mind went random again and she asked Emmalynn, "You're going to Hogsmeade, right?"

Eliza sipped her tea. She really needed to go to Hogsmeade one of these days.

Holly sat next to Eliza at the table in the great hall.
"Hey 'Liza," she said.

Natalie came in and sat down beside Holly.

"Hey...hows things?" asked Natalie.

((Not stalking u Hannah...I'm third year now too lol))

((Ha ha *tuts* kidding as usual....lol))

"Hi," Holly said moodily, "Things are just spectacular. Hows things with you?"

"Not so great...Snape is on my back again for completing an essay too early," sighed Natalie, and she uttered a couple of wizard swears.

Holly nodded.
"Rage,"

"Have you seen how much more homework we get now that were third year?" Natalie asked, "and some of it is ridiculous...like for muggle studies, I have to write a two thousand word essay on rubber ducks and spoons...its so stupid."

"Yeah," Holly said, not realy listening.

"Whats up? What are you thinking about Hols?" Natalie asked.

Holly jumped.
"Me- wha- oh nothing," she said quickly.

"Suuuurrre there isn't," said Natalie, grinning.

"Mm," Holly said, staring into her porridge.

"Mmm?" asked Natalie, "what do you mean mmm?"

"It rhymes with Lim," Holly said thoughtfully.

"Oh...and pim," said Natalie.

"And him," Holly said, thinking of someone in particular. Riley to be presice.

"Aw...Holly's in love," Natalie said quietly.

Emmalynn was barely listening to Natalie and Holly's conversation, but she had tuned in when she heard her Godfather's name.

"What's Severus made at you about?" she asked Natalie.

"Handing in my potions essay's too early," Natalie sighed.

Holly looked at the new kid she had never spoken to.
"Why?" she asked suspisiously.

"Mmmm," said Natalie, not really listening....the owl post had just arrived.

Emmalynn looked up to the hundreds of owls flying overhead. Three owls came toward her. She untied the letters and gave each of the birds a peice of ham.

"Let's see..." she mumbled, searching through the letters. "One from my father, one from Elladora, and... oh look! One from Sev!"

Natalie looked up in time to see a large school barn owl souring her wand. It was clutching a letter and a large package

"Sev- I mean Snape writes to you?" Holly asked curiously, not sure if she had heard correctly.
