For any one and everyone no matter the age. This is the first time your characters goes to Hogwarts.

Zelda had just gotten off the train and was on the boat headed towards to grand castle.. "This is magnificent!" Zelda said to the other students on the boat...

Willow stepped off the train, already dressed in her Hogwarts robes.
"Wow..."

All of her family was in Slytherin and she hoped she was to. This was going to be the best school ever

Oddie got off the train and walked behind a group of girls trying to make herself invisable.

A hunched over girl in a black cloak stepped off the train, her face hidden by her hood. She glances at the others, then walks off.
If they knew what I was, they would never want to know me. She thought.

Rista stepped off the train. As a muggleborn, she didn't have any clue what to expect. She nervously followed the rest of the first years and climbed into a boat.

As hunter got of the train he seen a girl that he was attracted too so he got in the boat right after she did.

Oddie quickly tried to pass the others as she half ran to the boats.

I wish that they would hurry up and have us sorted already she thought as she waited at the edge of the lake for the boats to arrive.

Oddie decided that since she saw waiting for the boats that she might as well look to see who else was there. Scanning the crowd, Oddie quickly spotted one girl with her hood over her face. Maybe someone I could talk to? she asked herself as she walked up to the other student.

"Hello, I'm Oddie-" Oddie said holding out her hand. She didnt dare say her last name

Rista looked around at all the other people. She had read a little about Hogwarts as soon as she found out the truth about herself. She was so afraid that having parents who had no magic abilities would put her at a disadvantage.

Shadow quietly followed the rest of the first years, wishing not to be seen. She climbed into the least full boat she could find, and waited.

The boat had Just landed and Zelda stepped off... A lady in green robes came over to the first years and said that she was the transfiguration teacher and that we would fallow her... Zelda looked around.. there where several first years.

Rista stepped out of the boat and followed the rest of the first years. "Transfiguration?" she muttered. She figured she would find out soon enough.

Oddie followed the other as they got off of the boat and saw one of the teachers. She wasnt lisenting to a word that she said. She was regretting the fact that she had even come to school today. Now they are all going to know she thought as she started to shake. Oddie quickly pulled her hood up over her face and tried to stay in the back of the group, hiding in the shadows

The girl who followed her seemed to be as shy as Rista was. She turned to her and said, "Hi. I'm Rista Sintala. Are you as nervous as I am?" she asked.

Oddie was surprised that another student was talking to her right now. Oddie pulled her hood down and said "Yea, I am but probably for different reasons" she simply stated

"Ah." Rista noticed that the girl didn't mention her name. She didn't say anything, but wondered why she was so mysterious. She continued to walk up toward the school. Suddenly she was in a vast and beautiful entrance hall. She waited for the teacher to give them further instructions.

Oddie was relieved when the girl didnt question her anymore. Oddie just continued on folllowing the other students and once she entered the Great Hall she felt like she was about to faint. Her shaking had gotten worser and she had to place her hands into her pockets so that teh otehrs wouldnt notice this.. This is not going to go too well. Maybe they wont know? Oddie thought to herslf

Rista turned back and put an arm on the girl's shoulder. She didn't look too well. "Are you going to be okay?" she asked supportively.

Shadow was listening quietly to the others, something was wrong with one of them.
"All they have to do now is call out your name and then it will be over." It wasn't her thoughts. Shadow hit herself in the head.
I need to control this magic! She wondered what was wrong with that girl. She clearly had secrets, as did Shadow. Deep secrets about their parents...

Rista didn't know anything about the houses, so she was a bit confused as to what was wrong with Slytherin. She didn't ask, though. "My name is Rista Sintala," she said. "It's nice to meet you Zelda."

Then another girl came up behing them asking Oddie what was so bad about being in Slytherin. "Well if you were me and had the past I had you would understand. Its really what the others would think of me and I think Ill be alright." Oddie said to her.

Oddie then turned her attention back to the stool and she now saw a teacher wearing green with a huge list in front of her. She started to call out the students names. Well I have awhile to wait. Oddie thought as she started with the A's and then contiuned onto the B's and C's.

Rista waited while the list of names was read through. Each person was sorted into a house by a strange talking hat. While she was waiting, she looked at the ceiling. "What on earth?" She said aloud. "How can it be so warm in here, if the room is open?"

Willow had just heard her name called out and had just time to give a 'Sorry, i didn't know' look to the girl (Oddie).

She traipsed up and placed the hat on her head, muttering Slytherin. The sorting hat heard and she was immediately placed in her chosen house.

Zelda was getting Nevis and heard some of the new students talk about the ceiling... " I believe I haven't met you... " Zelda said to the shy girl ... ( Oddie).
" Oh... yes you are right... the celing is enchanted... I read about it in A Hogwarts History... " Zelda said... ." Looks like they are to the names with s... that Shadow person just went up." Zelda said...

Willow noticed the other girl (Zelda) talking, she looked friendly and Willow only knew a few older Slytherins.

Making a mental note to talk to her later, Willow smiled at her and sat down at the lavishly decorated Slytherin table.

"Well then they should be calling my name soon then" Oddie said as she stood and waited. After what seamed like forever, Oddie heard the teacher call out "Oddie Riddle"

Oddie froze and hear some of the students start to whisper. "Miss Riddle, please come here and be stored" the teacher dressed in green said growing impatiant. Oddie quickly ran up to the stool and felt the hat placed on her head.

Ah, a Riddle. I know where to place you Oddie heard the hat say in her ear.

Please not Slytherin Oddie thought.

Why not Slytherin. Everyone in your family has been placed in there. Even your great great great great great grandfather was there. the hat said and Oddie felt her stomach flutter. Salazar Slytherin the hat added.

Not Slytherin Oddie said again in her head.

You dont want to be placed in Slytheirn, well maybe it should be "RAVENCLAW" the hat shouted out the last word.

Oddie let out a sigh of relive as she took the hat off her head and placed it on the stool. She then walked over to the table filled with students wearing blue. Oddie made sure to take a seat away from the other students just in case one of them knew her fathers name. She then looked back up at the stool to see who would be next to be sorted

Zelda saw the shy girl get on the stool ... " A Riddle... " Zelda thought.... Ravenclaw it said and Zelda though.. " Naa it cant be... " After waiting for the shy girl to get off she suddenly realized that she was close.. "RUNDELL... " The green dress lady said and Zelda stepped forward... " Sit please... " She said and Zelda sat. She suddenly found that the hat was on top of her head and slid down her forhead.....

" A Rundell.... aw.... what a rd choice to make for you... Your father is a great Gryffindor and your mother a humble Hufflepuff... I see both in you ... Your grandfather... Grinffindor... but Where to put you.... I know.... how about Slytherin... you would be great... I see great and fear full things for you and Slytherin would help you in this... " The hat said..

Zelda was in shock... she had over estimated the hat and she was in panic mode ,but she found words.. " I don't cheat... "

" so you think all Slytherin cheat.. I see your fathers talent and your mothers talent.. Oh yes... You will do great things... You are particularly hard to place... You grand father will help you so I better go with what he is.... GRYFFINDOR!!!" The hat said

As the hat left her head it whispered one last thing to her... " good luck..."

What could that mean.. Zelda took a set at the Gryffindor table and thought over the matter... She looked towards the staff table and saw them all... And then she caught the eye of her grandfather... he winked and smiled... " I wonder what that hat meant she thought as she watched the next 1st year take the stand.

Oddie sat at the table and watched the girl that was talking to her go up next. After what seemed like forever the girl was finally sorted into Gryffindor. Oddie then turned her gaze to the tabledetermined not to look anyone in the face

Rista clapped as Oddie was sorted into Ravenclaw. She seemed happy about it. Next thing she knew she heard, Sintala. She stepped forward and placed the hat on her head. The hat deliberated for a moment then, after what seemed like hours, shouted "Gryffindor!"

Rista made her way over to her new housemates.
