Eliza pulled herself out of the water, and lept to Shadow's side. Putting her hands on her chest, she extracted all the cold from her, replacing it with heat. A procedure she used with Zeke, and she remembered that Shadow and Raven wern't as resistant to cold as to heat.

"What the hell happened....why didn't you tell me where you were going?" Natalie asked, half exasterated and half relieved.

Eliza was too concentrated to talk - she had never done this to a half-demon, and it requiered lots of attentioon. Pago said,
"Natalie, I don't want to be rude, but please try and be quiet. Eliza needs to concentrate. When are we going home?"

"Oh....sorry," said Natalie, frowning.

Holy sighed with the outmost relief, and coughed some more of her own blood out onto the cave floor. She swore quietly whilst Riley placed a balnket over her shoulders.
George ambled over and rested his head on against her temple, sitting silently on Hollys shoulder.
"Shadow?" Holly murmured. She turned to Eliza when there was no reply.
"What are you doing?"

There was a muffled grunt outside the cave just before Raven walked in, covered in snow.
"Anyone care to tell me where my sister is?" She asked, arms folded and foot tapping.

Holly pointed at the wolf on the floor.
She then glanced around and muttered to her, "She tried to.....top herself,"

Raven walked forwards, looking at Shadow.
"Somehow, that doesn't surprise me." She said.

"Did she?" Natalie said, almost in tears, "that's why she would tell me what she was doing."

"That's just Shadow for you." Raven said. The wolf's eyes flickered slightly as Shadow began to come round.

"Shadow...can I ask....it wasn't because of me...was it?" Natalie asked.

Holly swallowed and approached the sisters carefully.
"She'll be alright I think....," she murmured, then turned to Raven.
"How did you get here anyway?"

Natalie let silent tears run down her face.

"I tracked Shadow's last location through her mind just before she shut me out." Raven explained as she watched the wolf curl into a tight ball, trying to block everyone out.

"Oh," Holly said, glancing at Natalie, "It wasnt cause of you Nat. Im sure it wasnt....,"

"I highly doubt that it was." Raven said, agreeing with Holly.

Natalie continued to cry.

"No...its not because of that....I nearly lost another friend....like I lost Dorothy." she sobbed.

"People shouldnt try to end their own life," Holly said softly, "Theres enough people trying that on us....all of us...,"
She pulled the sleves of her now dry cloak down a little, as if conceling something.

Natalue continued to cry.

"Are you hurt Holly?" she whimpered.

Holly looked at her sharply.
"What do you mean? No!"
Riley glanced at her suspisously.
"Whats the matter?" he asked.
"Nothing," Holly repeated, pulling her sleves down more.

Raven narrowed her eyes and strode over to Holly, grabbing her arm and pulling up one sleeve.

"HOLLY! DON'T HIDE ANYTHING FROM US....WE ARE YOU'RE FRIENDS!" Natalie yelled angrily.

((You told me....Natalie was asking...lol))

Holly backed away quickly, letting out a little yell.
But it was too late. Just below the scars a certain Riddle had made, were two no one else had seen before.
Riley's eyes widened.
"What? Where'd you get those?"
But the look on her face explained.
"You didnt," Riley said, as if begging her to say no.
"Mm," Holly murmured, and held up the other arm to show the same.
"Didnt work though...,"

"I thought Shadow was suicidal, but HOLLY?!" Raven said.

"Oh my....HOLLY! You didn't!" said Natalie, "no.....I don't believe it...not the optimist."

"At one time!" Holly retorted, "Just....just once. Twice. Just twice I swear! And never since!"
She glanced about, pulling her sleves down.
Riley swallowed.
"Youre an idiot," he said in disbelief.

"Maybe we had best leave things as they are." Raven said.

Holly nodded quickly, biting her lip.
"Yeah. Lets worry about Shadow.....shes more important,"

Natalie sat down, head in her hands.

"You're equally as important." Raven assured her.

"Thank you....,"
Holly hesitated and then sat next to Natalie , and to her surprise, Riley followed suit, still staring at her angrily.

Natalie stayed still, feeling Holly's warm wait next to her, but imagining if it were cold and still. She shivered and stood up.

"I'm going for a walk," she said quietly.

Bella stood behind the nearby tree, knowing that the people at the side of the lake had forgotten she was there. She strained to see the scar, though already knowing what it was, her mouth and eyes opened in shock

Raven sat next to Shadow, continually poking her until she decided to at least be a bit sociable. Shadow remeained in her wolf form, lying on the stone ground sphinx like, not looking at the others. When Natalie said that she was going, she stood up.

Bella hid further behind the tree, afraid that they may see her

"Its ok...I'm not going to try what you did....just need some air," said Natalie vaguely.

Shadow raised one wolfish eyebrow.

"Bye," Holly murmured after Natalie, feeling people were now avoiding her, but being paranoid.
She glanced at Riley.
"You alright?"
Riley shrugged half heartedly.
"Are you speaking to me?"
Riley hesitated and then said, "Yes,"
Holly nodded.
"Good,"
She glanced toward Shadow when she stood.
"Where're you going?" she asked quickly.

Bella felt her breathing grow heavy. She wasnt sure what to do. She had never met a deatheater though she had only recently found out what they were

Raven shot her sister a glare, and Shadow lay down again with the impression of saying 'humph'.

"Bye," said Natalie, not she let tears flow down her face at the sound of Holly's voice.

Silently, Bella crept away from the lake and towards the castle wondering what to do

Shadow got up and bounded after Natalie before Raven could stop her.

"Shadow...its ok...I need to be on my own for a while," said Natalie quietly.

Holly watched Natalie long after she had disappeared.
"Arent you cold?" she voiced to Raven after a while.

Shadow nodded and walked back into the cave, tail between her legs. Raven gave her a slightly slap around the head. Shadow just glared at her sister and curled up in a distant corner.

Raven looked at Holly, shaking her head.

Holly nodded.
"When can you make another port hole?" she murmured to Riley.
He didnt answer.
"Riley....? Riley!"
"What?"
"When can you take us home? I hate it here. I want my four poster."
Riley looked at her for a moment and then muttered, "Selfish witch,"
Except he didnt say witch.
Holly opened her mouth to say something, closed it, and put her head on the cave wall to cool it down.

"Alright, yous want to go home? Shadow, what's the spell?" Shadow looked at her sister, sending the spell.

Natalie walked through the snow.

"All the years Holly and I have been friends...I never knew," Natalie said out loud to thin air, "why? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?!"

Shadow's ear cocked and she ran out of the cave, bounding over the snow drifts.
