Black Lake

Holly heard one of the "whys" from the cave, but did not react. She was still rather stung, and glared at Riley through closed eyes.
"Thank you," George murmured to Raven, "That would be most helpful,"

Natalie lay in the snow, pounding it with her fists, kicking her legs and screaming her head off.

Shadow bounded over to Natalie and grabbed her cloak, pulling it gently.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Natalie screamed, "a wolf!" She was too distraught to see that it was Shadow.

Shadow lay down and rolled over, showing her stomach and throat in submission.

"Shadow....why....why did you try to kill yourself?" Natalie whispered, "why does anyone try."

Shadow put her tail between her legs and started to move away towards the cave, looking back to see it natlaie was following.

Natalie followed.

"Are we getting out of here?" Natalie asked quietly.

Shadow nodded her head and walked back into the cave.

Natalie followed, glad to be getting out of this place of misery and mystery.

"Hopefully," Holly called, hearing the conversation.

Natalie ran and hugged Holly.

"Oh Holly....Holly," she sobbed.

Hayley had been silent during this whole conversation, lying on the floor. She had been pretending to be asleep. She opened one eye. "Hey guys," she said. "And Riley, what you said to Holly, it really wasn't very nice, yeah she tried to...you know, but it was a long time ago, and I've known her....for ever, and I know she'll never try it again." The thought of Holly's parents entered her mind. "Sometimes....people....have their reasons. I'm not justifying it, cause, it's wrong...." she frowned, not knowing what to say next.

Holly hugged Natalie back listening to Hayleys speech.
"Mm," she said, "Im not justifying it either,"
Riley cleared his throat as if to say something, stopped, and then tried again.
"Im sorry Hollly," he said.

"And I'm sorry I ran off Holly...I wasn't avoiding you...I just...took it hard," said Natalie, eye's still shining with tears.

Holly nodded understanding, and moved slightly, to accept the hug Riley was now giving her.
"Im sorry," he murmured again.

"Awk...see...all better," said Natalie.

"All better," Holly repeated, eyes closed, smiling a little.

Shadow was grudgingly forced back to human form by Raven, and began to work on the portal. She chanted a spell under her breath and a spark of magic appeared in her hand, growing into a shimmering oval.

"Ok....so....how we getting home then?" Natalie asked.

"Making a portal dude?" Holly asked Shadow and Raven, "Cause if so, yay,"
George smiled.

"Ahhhhh, ok, I see," said Natalie.

"There you go," Holly said nodding, "You finally understand physics yes?"
Riley grinned and began packing away.

Natalie scowled.

"I have always understood the laws of phsics," she said.

Hayley laughed. "Finally...back to old Hogwarts..." she said smiling, and thinking of Jake. Blueberry bounded about at her feet, excited at the prospect of going home.

Holly smiled a little, also glad to get back to her four poster. Not to sleep though....
She glanced at Riley.

((Haha that sounds as wrong as i mean it haha oh my gosh.....hahahhahaha))

"It's so good to be back," said Natalie, grinning.

((Are we back?? right okay then haha))


Holly breathed deeply, suddenly loving the way the breeze lifted the branches of the oak tree. She would appreciate everything a lot more now.
"Good to be back," she said, and stood, "Im tired....,"
George nodded in agreement.
"Me too....,"
"I think Ill go to bed," Holly said, "Ri, you walk me to my dorm?"
"Sure," Riley said, and followed her.

((I dunno...thought we were lol))

"I'm going to bed too," said Natalie, yawning.

"Yeah, but Holly's won't sleep," said Hayley grinning then also glancing at Riley. "And I might go to bed to," she added.

((I am sooo lost... are we back at Hogwarts?))

Natalie grinned widely, but passed it off as a small yawn.

Holly saw this.
"What?" she asked innocently, and left.

Hayley smiled at Holly. She then spotted Jake acros the grounds, and ran over. He picked her up, and kissed her on the cheek. "Where have you been?" he asked worriedly. Hayley sighed, and let got of his embrace. "Long story...come on I'll tell you in the common room," she turned round and waved to Natalie and the rest of the people who were standing there. "Bye!" she said loudly.

"Ew" George said after Hayley and Jake, "Those kids....they're much too young,"
Holly glanced at Riley grinning.
"Suuure they are,"

"Exactly...Suuuuure they are," said Natalie.

Holly grinned.
"What she said," she pointed at Natalie.

"Oh...ntohing...nothing," said Natalie, grinning.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHA," Holly grinned, "No not funny. So I suggest we play dares!"

"Maybe...in a minute," said Natalie, "are you hoping not to discuss what you just told me in the North Pole?"
