Dare the Master

First topic message reminder :

Holly placed the sign "Dare the Master" on the table top and sat on one of the two vacant seats behind it.
She was in behind a portrait on the seventh floor, and ready to be dared.
In front of her was the advertisement she had placed around school and in Hogsmede, "COME DARE THE DARER, Holly Bristol will do just about any dare you dare her to. Three sickles for each dare Holly completes. Seventh floor. First come first serve,"

"It's ok Holly, were all your friends here and we know you feel emotion...even people who are not allowed to feel emotion...take Shadow for instance." saud Natalie quietly

Shadow carefully passed all the more recent thoughts, trying to find her way through Holly's mind. She realised how grateful she was that Raven meditated.

Hayley nodded and bit her lip, thinking of ways she could ease her friends pain.

"Slushies?" Natalie asked Hayley quietly, "would slushies help?"

Holly shivered again, becoming used to the strange sensation, and hoping that Shadow wouldnt see ALL of her most private thoughts and such.

I'm in your mind Holly, I heard that. Shadow said, jokingly. I'm trying to keep AWAY from those memories.

"Well, Holly loves slushies, I don't like, but yeah that might work," Hayley replied managing a small smile.

Holly smiled a little in real life and thought, "Yes, well, do....i shant have you poking in the private file,"

Natalie conjured a slushie machine.

"We'll wait 'til after," said Natalie.

I'm trying not to, so stop thinking about it. Shadow replied. Every time you focus on something I see it.

Holly tried not to, but the more she thought about not thinking about Riley, the more she thought about thinking about.....about......

Holly thought about Riley.

Arias, I really did NOT want to see that. Shadow said, having seen a rather private moment.

Hayley conjured a small ice-cream, and began eating it, before realising she didn't want it and vanished it again.

"Hayley...now is not the time," Natalie giggled, and she turned to Holly.

"I know you'll get over this...your a great person," said Natalie reasuringly.

Holly attempted to push out anything Shadow may not want to see, and tried to think of rabbits insted. It didnt work out.

Thanks for that Shadow said, rolling her eyes at the rabbit that had just hopped across her path.

Just as she thought this, another vision of the blood encrusted kitchen floor came across her mind.
A youngster, with a spider monkey on her shoulder, entering the kitchen, flashes of blood, of the dead, of tears.

"Holly...are you having explisit, erodic...fruitful thoughs again?" Natalie asked, grinning.

Shadow looked onto this and found the exact date and time. She withdrew from Holly's mind.
"I can't do anything in there, but there may be something else I can do."

Holly sighed as Shadow came out of her mind, a little happier she was alone in there again.
"Oh?" she asked, "Whats that now?"

"I go back to your past." Shadow said simply.

"Huh?" Natalie asked, looking worried again.

Holly's eyes narrowed.
"How do we do that? And what happens?"

"Is it like...going into a specific event...all over again?" Natalie asked Shadow with interest.

"I can teleport in time, but it takes one hell of a lot of energy, and I can't mess with my own time line." Shadow said.

"Mmm...that a tough one...if you'se go anywhere...count me in though....I have a time turner," said Natalie.

"I'm not taking anyone with me. It's too risky." Shadow said.

Holly shook her head.
"No then," she said, "If it affects your time line then no. Plus it could affect some other peoples.....even if i knew what was happening and why.....and why now.....then i might want to do something about it,"

"It won't mess with mine." Shadow said.

"Still," Holly said, "What would you do exactly?"

"Go back, and try to take some of the weight off those memories." Shadow said.

"I can use my time turner...to hell with the law," said Natalie fiercely, linking arms with Holly.

Shadow shook her head again.
"As I said, not a good idea."

Holly thought about Shadows offer.
Surely it would be great not having as much weight on the memories.....but what if something went wrong?
"Its an amazing offer," Holly said, "But i wouldnt let you risk that. Even if there is no risk....thank you though....so much...,"

Natalie looked set.

"I know it's not a good idea...and I know I'd be risking my life to use my time turner...and going to Askaban...but I am not staying here to wait in specualation....I cannot lose any other friends" said Natalie firmly.

Shadow merely smiled slightly. She closed her eyes, her brow furrowing in concentration and disappeared.

"Where is she going?" Natalie asked Holly.

Shadow looked around her surroundings.
"Ok, I know where I am but... OH GOOD ARIAS!" She said, seeing a dead person. A young girl came in, with a spider monkey.

"I know where she is Holly," said Natalie, "and it's weird...but I can see it...in my head...THATS YOU! Only...younger!"

"Maybe she went for slushies," Holly suggested.

"But I can see her," said Natalie flatly, "and I can see a younger you...with George....and a dead person."

"You can?" Holly asked, truly frightened.
George crawled up to her shoulder.

"I don't know where it is though," said Natalie, "it doesn't look like Hogwarts...I don't think I've ever been there before."

Hayley shivered, at the though of dead people. "Do you think...you know...you're a...seer?" she said to Natalie. "Except, of the past or something?" she was slightly confused.

"My house?" Holly asked softly.

"I don't know...but....oh Holly...oh...I can't tell you," said Natalie, a tear rolling down her face.

Hayley was slightly scared. "Wh-what's wrong Nat?" she said trying to comfort her.

"Seriously," Holly said, "Whats up?"

"I can see...oh...I can see...HOLLY!" she found herself screaming and crying at the young Holly Shadow could see, "NO! DON'T LOOK! TURN ROUND! NO! NOOOOOO!!!!"
