Weather: A warm spell has hit Hogwarts, and there's not a cloud in the sky!

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the main forum for more info.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Waking up with a slight jump Kaylee stifled a giggle as she hit the off button on her bed alarm. See this was no ordinary alarm, she had put a charm on her bed the night before to make it so that it would start (silently) start shaking at a specific time to wake her up. See the entire day before the game she'd been on a mission, a mission to get both nut and muffin back for the wonderful wake ups they'd given her the past two matches.

Pulling her wand out of underneath her pillow she proceeded to point at both Muffin and Nut and whispered "Muffliato" that way she could proceed to do what she needed to with out worrying about either of them waking up. Now laughing an evil laugh fully out loud she took her time getting ready. After all she had woken herself up almost 2 hours early.

After she'd gotten out of the shower she took her time putting on her newly renovated batman pajamas, now they came complete with a cape and all. Dancing around to her muggle ipod she sang, "Back to the street where we began, feeling as good as lovers can you know..... It's just the end of the world.... Into a place where thoughts can bloom. Into a place where it's nine in the afternoon..." She sang loudly as she put her hair into her usual pigtails.

Once the song concluded she turned her ipod off and put it back in it's normal spot in her nightstand. Casting a charm to keep her hair in place for the entire game she pulled out the presorted sugar rations for the game. "You never know what could happen, I mean last game Jessie fell into what we think was a sugarless coma." She said speaking loudly as no one in the room, besides Fred, could hear her anyways. "We still haven't figured out exactly what happened, hopefully this time around everyone will remain conscious."

Once she was completely ready with all of her sugar supplies shoved into her pockets she sat down on her bed and pondered for a second. "So who should get what? Cat pushed me out of the bed causing me to get a bruise, but Gemma did ruin the best dream ever and nearly drowned me in my sleep." Giggling like a mad scientist she once again pulled out her wand, she decided that Gemma should be first.

Looking over at Cat she screamed one more time to make sure she still couldn't hear her and once she was sure the Nut wouldn't be woken up once she cast the spell she turned towards Gemma. Stopping in her tracks she realized she still hadn't done the most important part. Running around the room quickly she ran over to both of their night stands and picked up their wands. She then proceeded to tie both the wands to strings and hung them from the chandler that hung in the middle of their dorm. She even decided to put a nice note on them letting them know that Finite Incantatem would cure them.

Still laughing she made her way over to the doorway and pointed her wand at Muffin, "Rictusempra!" she shouted and almost instantly Gemma started giggling and wiggling all over her bed. Obviously the tickling charm had done it's job, still smiling she worked quickly and turned toward Cat and yelled, "Tarantallegra!" And almost instantly Cats legs started going crazy like she was doing a laying down dance move.

Now whole heartily laughing she ran out of the dorm room and as she ran past the other dorms she banged quickly on each one hoping to wake up the remaining members of the team. Once she finished all of the door bangs she skipped through the common room, through the dungeons and all the way to the Great Hall. By now everyone had grown accustomed to seeing her clad in her batman pajamas on game day.

"Hey I'm liking the cape addition," she heard someone yell from down the table as she sat down and started to devour her ritual jam covered toast and tall glass of pumpkin juice. Not even looking up she yelled back, "Thank you, I thought it was pretty awesome myself." As she replied she continued to shove toast into her mouth.

As soon as she finished stuffing her face she made her way out of the Great Hall and skipped all the way down to the locker rooms. Still smiling she began to pull on her pads first, she figured she could take her time, even if Muffin and Nut did wake up they still had to get ready. Then she moved onto her robes and then finally finished off with pulling her lucky pair of gloves on. Once she was fully geared up from head to toe she pulled her trusty Nimbus 2001 aka Gadget from his resting place.

"Okay Gadget lets have a good game... Oh have I told you lately how much I love you?" She mumbled as she patted Gadget. Once she was sure that Gadget was in a good mood she started skipping her way out onto the pitch. As soon as she walked out of the locker room her jaw dropped, "This I must say is a first I do believe, I don't think I've ever been the first person on the pitch."

As she scoped out the pitch she mounted Gadget and kicked off hard straight up into the air. Looking around she could see that very few spectators had even made it out yet, "Well at least I'll get a good warm up in before anyone else has the chance to distract me." Suddenly she remembered something and looked up and around at the sky, "It looks like the weather has improved since last game as well. Hopefully we wont have any rain to contend with this time around." She mumbled to herself as she started to zoom around the field warming up.

REFEREE NOTE:

It is highly unlikely that I will be able to get on tonight to start the game, therefore please continue as you normally would. Don't wait for a referee to start the match, just keep on going :D

[Slytherin Chaser]

It was in the middle of a dark night that Gemma sat on the edge of a fountain, feeling little splashes of water hit her back. She was wearing a beautiful gown, but the make up on her face was smudged by the crystal tears running down her face. She had been waiting for a long time here, but he who had promised to come back wasn't there. She felt betrayed and desperate - had she made a mistake of some sort? Had she driven him away? She didn't know nor did she care to know, for now that he had been gone forever it didn't matter any longer. He had made such wonderful promises of a new life and eternity, allowing her to connect her two lives- but now he seemed to have decided against all their plans. She looked at the sky hopefully, only to see somebody approach her she would normally have been delighted to see. It was Kaylee who was coming closer quietly, smiling gleefully- but now was not the time for feeling good, didn't she know that? Suddenly a buzzing sound filled her ears, it should have bothered her but she concentrated on it with all her might. It kept out everything else, that was good...She stood in the same plaza, it was another night but this time the full moon was casting a pale light over the area. This time she wasn't crying, she was as serendipitous as she could be, for he was coming towards her, his skin reflecting the moonshine. But there it was again, the buzzing, and this time she did feel distracted by it, she wanted to sink into his aura and suffocate in his beauty.

Without warning, Gemma's mind was blank as she started laughing really hard, her body rolling all over the softness of her bed. What was going on? She forced her eyes to open up, seeing Kay run out of the room. What kind of thing was she pulling off here? And why did she wake her up this cruelly on a freaking weekend day? Angry questions raced her mind, but she couldn't help but continue laughing. This had to be a strong Tickling Charm, it couldn't be anything else. That girl!, she screamed inside, not finding a way to force out the words. Rolling onto her side, she saw Cat in her bed with her legs doing some weird moves, almost as if she was- dancing!? With all the rolling she did, Gemma continued to catch glimpses of the room, and suddenly she was aware of something hanging from the chandelier. Groping around on her nightstand with one hand while using the other to hold her stomach, her suspicions were confirmed. Her wand was gone, and it was probably hanging from that damn magnificent excuse of a lamp.

Wow, I hate her! Evil, stupid, vindictive banana loony! How am I going to get out of bed and to the middle of the room like this? This has to be her supposedly funny revenge for the last two Quidditch match wake-ups. Wait- Quidditch. Today. Outside. Me and Cat.

"How" *gasp* "could she" *giggle* "do thaaaaat?!?!"

She had gone from ranting silently to crying out, no matter how weird it sounded with her stopping in between every other couple of words. Then out of nowhere she felt a bang and her butt had hit the floor. Obviously all the laughter and squirming had driven her body out of bed. She decided to hate he day but now her previous worry would be getting rid of the spell she was under. She did after all have a match to attend. And hopefully to win. Getting onto her knees and one hand carefully - the other hand still covering her stomach which started to hurt from laughing - she tried to move towards where the chandelier hung and got over there inch by inch. It couldn't be long now- just another few inches- almost-

"THERE!"

Now she only ever had to get upright and grab that woodstick of hers...just how? Another inch-by-inch maneuver of standing up followed, and after what felt like hours she held her wand in her hand with a note attached to it. She let herself fall back onto the floor and fumbled to get the note off with her one free hand. When she had half ripped it of, she shakily held it in front of her eyes and read:

'Thanks for waking me up the last times, but I figured it would be my turn today. Enjoy a lovely morning and keep the good mood

PS: A simple Finite Incantatem will fix you- hope you'll get it out without gasps and giggles...'

Still laughing she didn't find a way to scowl, so she simply quickly got her wand again, rolling onto her side once more and then flicked her wrist while spilling out 'Finite Incantatem' as fast as she could. Luckily for her, it worked at the very first time. However with her hurting stomach and rather weak body she didn't feel exactly able to stand up, so she just marvelled at the fact that things sounded more intense now. She tried to stop thinking about anything and only catch her breath now so she would be on the pitch as soon as possible, therefore she shoved that thought aside right away.

After a while she got up slowly, trying to ignore Cat so she wouldn't give in to her desire to cast the counter-spell for her as well. This was a personal matter between her and Kay and Kitty and Kay and it should probably stay that way. Plus she had had to do all the work for herself, so....yeah. Gemma was after all a little egoistic since practically ever. Instead she began to throw on random clothes in their house colours, support would be as necessary as ever but she had no time to be picky now. It was out onto the pitch or dying. Well, out onto the pitch meant dying, too, but for Kay instead. And of course not literally. As she made her way to the pitch, grabbing the usual toast in the Great Hall on her way, she remembered something.

Oh no, I've forgotten my sugar supply! This can't be true, somebody tell me it isn't! Damn, damn damn, curse me and my stupid forgetfulness. Now I'll have to be friendly with Banana so I can rely on her sugary stuff. Bah!

Crossing out all the plans of revenge that had begun forming in her mind already she continued towards the pitch - going back to get her own candy would take up too much time. She was now jogging, both to be quicker and to get warmed up the slightest bit. Of course as soon as she had reached the locker room she had to slow down again, going through the chaos of her locker in order to find everything she needed to put on. Once she was all dressed, she put her hair into the usual style - messy bun - and kept the loose streaks in place with her beloved bobby pins. Then she grabbed her broom and headed onto the pitch, only to be shocked by the heated up weather. She looked up and squinted: She could hardly see a thing as the sun was blazing over a cloudless sky!

This will be an interesting game, I bet I'm gonna be drenched in my own sweat once we finish! Actually, I might just be as soon as I've gotten some warming up...but oh well, here we go!

She hopped onto her broom and took off into the sky, trying to come up with a spell to keep her eyes protected from the sun before the game would actually start. She couldn't even make out where exactly her Banana was located! Shielding her eyes with her hand she finally saw something moving at the far end of the pitch and, guessing it would be Kay, she made her way over there in a spiral movement so she'd get the feeling again. She could feel the sunrays on her exposed skin and for the first time there wasn't any pleasant feeling of a breeze against her skin. Her outlook onto the game became a little more negative but she still felt excited. Good weather did after all still have it's advantages...

Noticing that she was flying towards the back of Kay, she chose to get a little revenge for the affectionate morning surprise and sneaked up behind her on the broom, only to poke her sides once she was directly behind her.

"Good morning wifey! Feeling mischievous today?"

[Slytherin Chaser]

After she’d flown around the pitch a couple of times she decided to stop and down a couple of pixie sticks as she waited for more players to show up to the pitch. “It shouldn’t be too long now Fred, after all I don’t think anyone could sleep through the spells I put on Nut and Muffin. I don’t know about the banging on the doors though, to bad I’m not allowed to go into other dorm rooms or I’d have woken up the entire team in some fun way.” As she spoke she ate about 5 pixie sticks and shoved all of the wrappers in her trash pocket on her quidditch robes.

Looking around she finally noticed how bright it had gotten out side, she pulled out her wand and whispered, “Accio sunglasses” As she waited for her sunglasses to get there she put her wand away and started humming the tune to the song Imagine by John Lennon. “You know Fred for being muggles, some of them are quiet good at making good music.” Still humming she stuck her hand out just when her sunglasses zoomed over to her. As she put on her sunglasses (which look more like goggles) and hummed she didn’t hear Gemma making her entrance or flying up behind her.

Suddenly she felt two pokes in her side and a familiar voice say, “ Good morning wifey! Feeling mischievous today? ” Jumping so high from the sudden poking she nearly fell off of her broom, and before she knew it she was hanging upside down on her broom looking at Gemma now hovering above her. As she pulled herself up she spoke, “You have no idea hubby, that isn’t half of the mischievous plans that went through my mind when I was trying to figure out what would be just payback.”

Once she had regained her balance and was back on top of her broom, the correct way, she finished, “To tell you the truth, you both got off pretty easy, some of the plans that went through my mind were – well let’s just say they weren’t very nice. I don’t even want to imagine the curse words you were calling me in between breaths this morning as you were getting ready. Speaking of where is Nut? I was sure you’d both be out here at the same time seeking your revenge.” As she spoke she stifled a laugh at what it must have looked like as Muffin and Nut tried to get their wands down.

Changing the subject before Gemma had a chance to go into a full on rant Kay continued, “Do you want to do some practicing together to warm up before others make their way out onto the pitch? Maybe we should work on your flying skills while we’re out here. Or we could always work on developing a new move, something that will really throw these kitty-cats for a loop. Your looking kind of out of it, are you sure your alright?” Kay spoke and continued to watch Gemma and without even thinking about it pulled out a handful of candy and held it out to Muffin, “Here take this, lucky for you I’ve been bringing extra rations. And by your peaky complexion right now it looks like you could surely use some.”

As she held out the handful of candy Kay took another look around the pitch, the spectator stands were finally starting to fill up with fans. Some of them were sporting Slytherin colors at this point and she could hear the familiar tune of Weasley is our king being sung from the stands. Slightly giggling she looked around again and realized for the first time that her goggles made her see everything in green.

Well green is the best color of course, and I must say that most people look better as green. Maybe I should pull a prank and make it so the water in the showers turns everyone a wonderful shade of green. Then I could finally prove once and for all that the stinky kid from my herbology class really doesn’t shower.

Stifling a silent evil laugh Kay continued to look around the pitch. After looking around for a few minutes she turned her attention back to Gemma and started jerking around on her broom in anticipation.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Not having expected Banana to react as strongly to her own goodmorning greeting, Gemma's heart took a leap as she saw her jumping up and hanging upside down from her broom afterwards. But as soon as she started talking from her position while pulling herself up, Gemma couldn't help but laugh quietly: the sight of her wifey half-hanging from her broom with green goggles covering her eyes was just too hilarious. Now she could only hope that she would still be given some candy if she needed some, her wifey did seem quite vengeful on this particular day after all. Thinking about this, she tried to keep in any more laughing and concentrated hard on that task, now only half-heartedly listening to the rambling of Kay. And maybe, just maybe that wasn't too much of a bad idea, since as she caught words that seemed relatd to the morning's incident she just knew she would have gone into a full rant mood if she had bothered to keep listening. Plus as that evil girl was now laughing she probably wasn't exactly apologizing. This meant revenge was still needed.

Sly and Slytherin-style. Revenge will be the way here, I guess. Of course revenge will call for revenge will call for revenge and so on. But I can't let her do that to me without payback, no that can't happen - but I guess I'll find another way to get back at her, one that doesn't seem like a revenge at all. As I said, Slytherin-style...

Gemma was pretty sure that some kind of evil grin was showing itself on her face that very moment, but she didn't decide to change that. Banana would surely be aware that this war wasn't over yet, and if she actually believed things were different- well, there was after all a reason all of them hadn't ended up in Ravenclaw. Thus she now did wipe that grin off of her face and went for a neutral expression instead. She scanned the pitch while her wifey continued speaking, she now had offiicially no idea what her current topic was, but it probably still was the actions of the morning. Bugger off, goddamnit!, was the only thing going through her mind. Yes, it seemed the little joke on behalf of her friend had made her rather grumpy. Or maybe it was the general Slytherin attitude about Quidditch. Or maybe both combined. Either way, what she saw as she scanned across the field with her eyes almost squeezed shut didn't exactly make her feel better. There wasn't anybody around besides her and her fellow Chaser girl. Not one Gryffindor, which was bearable to some extent, but also no other Slytherin. It was hard to believe they'd have any chance of winning the Quidditch Cup if things kept being like this for every game of the term! But then again, the game hadn't started yet, so there was still some time left.

At the thought of the game not having started yet she remembered her previous desire to warm up and turned her attention back to Banana, who was sitting on her broom with her hand extended towards her, Gemma. And in that hand there was candy, sweet, sugary, lovely candy. She smiled gleefully at her wife and grabbed all she was handed, ripping away wrappers and opening pixie stix so she could give her body just what it needed. Carbohydrates, and many, tons actually. Just when she had finished stuffing her face with the sweet things and stuffing her pockets with their wrappers did she return her gaze to the others face. That was also the very moment she realised that she had no idea what her teammate had been talking about before. Trying to avoid letting this show through she just started ambling about the first thing that came to her mind - sugar!

"Oooh, thankies wifey, you know I'd tacklehuggle you now if we weren't some feet up in the air on brooms, don't you? I have not gotten round to having any sugar yet thanks to your lovely morning preparations, and I've forgotten my very own supply, so if I go into one of those disgusting sugarless comas like Jessie seemed to do last match please save me as soon as possible, okies?"

She hoped that this would take Kay's mind off her earlier words and once again started taking in her surroundings. She still had to squint, so she pulled the hood of her robe over her head and kept it in place with some spare bobby pins she generally kept in her pockets. It now hung low enough over her forehead to protect her eyes from the sun and she was grateful for it, yet she knew it would make the game even more exhausting since the heat would gather under it. So next time you better take a look at the weather before you leave your dorm, you dolt!, she advised herself.

Feeling stupid about looking around all the time and figuring Kay was still waiting for a response to whatever she had said Gemma racked her brains about what could have been her question. As she couldn't come up with anything, she chose to instead pull off the puppy dog eyes thing she normally detested. She turned to her wifey with that stupid, sweet, apologetical look and asked sheepishly: "Umm, sorries Banana, but what did you just ask me? I must have gotten distracted by, umm, something."

She had intended to force herself to listen this time, but right away after she had asked this her thoughts drifted somewhere else again and she suddenly remembered the dream she had been woken out of in the morning by the prank. It had been seriously weird, and she wasn't sure whether to be grateful or not for the wake up. The next thing she knew a song was drifting through her head out of nowhere. Maybe the sun was getting to her already. But that didn't matter, she was crazy anyway, the sun couldn't do anything to her, ha! She wondered whether singing would be a good idea at that point, but decided against it seeing as Banana would probably have been confused by the foreign language lyrics, and confusion wasn't exactly needed in a match. Then again, a good mood was needed and singing might help her get into it. She weighed the pros and cons and came to the conclusion that humming would be a good compromise, since she could always add the lyrics in her thoughts.

Those words kind of fit what she thought whenever she looked at the spectator's stands throughout the game: everybody that wasn't in Slytherin always seemed to cheer for their opponents, dubbing them the evil of Hogwarts. But she would no longer get angry about that, she would let them say whatever she wanted to, as the lyrics suggested. Just let them gossip! She looked up, and saw exactly the same once more in the stands, but this time she just waved to the Slytherins there and winked, trying to come up with a good chant out of nowhere.
Only after a few seconds she noticed the glare Kaylee seemed to be directing at her.

Wait, Kaylee. I was supposed to be listening to her, wasn't I? And I just went humming and concentrating on the crowd and not listening to her again and- damn. Some friend I am. I better concentrated on her this time around at least...

So Gemma once again returned her attention to her wifey, swearing to herself that this time she wouldn't be distracted, oh no, she wouldn't...was that a cl- no, no distractions. She stared at the others nose and concentrated on it, giving her best to not let her mind wander.

Gryffindor Chaser

Katie awoke to the sound of birds chirping - spring was arriving. And she was glad. She loved the warm weather and spending time in the courtyard. The feel of the sun on her pale, freckled face was comforting, and she couldn't help but smile as the first years made friends with the Giant Squid. Thinking about it, made her remember the first time that she discovered that friendly creature. She had been doing her homework by the lake with some friends, when it stole her bag. Katie had looked franticallt for it, when the squid returned it to her, suprizingly, bone dry. But she didn't have much time to reminisce today. It was a quidditch match and she wanted to be on time. She knew her captains would appreciate it too.

With a smile, Katie strolled through the castle, calling greeting to friends who wished her luck. She really appreciated the supporty, because quidditch was a nerve-wracking thing, especially because of how serious people treated it. She didn't want to embaress herself in front of the entire school - and all the professors. Deciding that she still had time, she decided to run into the Great Hall for a peice of toast to munch on for the walk to the locker room. She found the Great Hall, especially full because of everyone anticipating the quidditch match.

The toast was a good thing to have. It settled the nervous butterflies in her stomach and focussed her on the game. She was thinking about all the moves they could do and she could even imagine them winning the game. It put a smile on her face as she entered the empty room and put on her robes. She tied back her hair and took a deep breath as she stepped onto the pitch. ONly two Slytherians were there and no Gryffindors. Not worried Katie mounted her broom and soared around the pitch.

(Slytherin Keeper)
Violet woke up, her head hurting. ‘Oww, where did this head ache come from?’ She thought but stood up anyway. She looked at the clock and jumped. ‘Oh my God! The game!’ She yelled in her mind. Hurrying to get her clothes, she grabbed her broom and her ponytail. She had just open the door to walk down the stairs, when she fell down, landing on her stomach at the bottom. “What the…?” She asked and looked at her shoes, she had forgot to tie them. “Crudey cow.” She said and tied her shoes quickly. Standing back up, she ran threw the common room door and up the stairs to the Entrance Hall. “I’m late, I’m late, for a real important game. No time to say hello goodbye, I’m late I’m late I’m late.” She said when a bunch of Slytherins told her hey.

“Great hall, here I come for some more toast.” Violet said and ran in, stealing toast from a first year. “Hey!” he yelled but Violet thumped him on the head and told him to shut up. Violet ran out of the door to the pitch and saw Gemma and Kay. “I’m sorry I’m late. Over slept.” Violet looked around saw a Griffie out there and smiled. “This team might actually come this team!” Violet said and sat down to eat her toast. The sky was pretty today. ‘Great weather conditions.’ Violet said and ate her toast when a fly landed on her nose. Violet glared at it and slapped her hand up to slap it off, only to sap herself. “Ow.” Violet said and rubbed her nose. Throwing the rest of her toast out, she sat on her broom and had it hover a few feet from the ground. “I’m ready for the game to start.” She said.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Watching Gemma as she waited for a response, she realized that Gemma -as usual- probably wasn't even listening to her. "You know, sometimes I don't even know why I bother wasting my breath to talk to you, it seems that most of the time you hardly ever listen anyways. For all the good it does I might as well be talking to a brick wall." As she spoke she fought to keep her face as severe looking as possible. Since in real life she could never actually be mean to her hubby or her wifey, she cared far to much about either of them to be seriously mean to them.

She waited patiently for Gemmas reaction, and she could see the tears that were starting to well up in her eyes. For half a second she considered being a true Slytherin and letting her get to the point of crying before letting her know that she was only kidding, but this was her muffin, and if her muffin cried than she was bound to cry as well. "Calm down, Gemmy-Jam I was only messing with you. Besides I do the same thing, how am I going to scold you for spacing out when I myself space out more than anyone I know." As she spoke all of the seriousness melted away from her face and she started to giggle.

Then she pulled out the fail safe and handed Gemma more sugar, since she did mention forgetting her supply, and started to look around the pitch once again. As soon as she did she spotted Violet, whom she made eye contact with and waved towards her happily. Then she spotted her, the first and the only Gryffindor player to have arrived at this point. As Kay watched her she noticed that the chaser seemed to have an arrogance about her, like she wasn't intimidated at all.

"Look at that Muffin," as she spoke she pointed over towards the lonely rawr-rawr chaser with a smile plastered across her face. "Doesn't she look like she's not afraid? I mean in all seriousness if I were her I would be, after all we are the Crazy Slytherin Chasers. Still smiling from ear to ear she didn't wait for Muffin to respond but instead she decided to practice what she liked to call The Death Drop. With out even the slightest hesitation she pulled her broom and her body up rite so that they were now at a perfect vertical line to the horizon. As soon as she did this she leaned her body hard to one side as she started to drop, causing her to start spinning as she plummeted towards the ground. Still smiling from ear to ear she continued to keep herself spinning as she counted.

When she was a child she practiced this trick many times with her cousins, and in those days it was very rare that she didn't hit the ground. But not now, no she had perfected it to the point that she could stop her self mere inches from the ground and then suddenly and miraculously save herself from certain injury. And just at the right second she pulled up and was once again level with the horizon and literally a foot off the ground. "Still got it baby!" She mumbled to herself in happiness as she touched the ground and then flew back up to hover at Gemmas side like nothing had even happened.

"I still say that after this game you and I need to spend some serious time with your flying lessons. Speaking of, do you think you have a handle on your whole upside down issue yet?" Once she finished speaking she just looked over at Gemma and smiled brightly, it was after all a wonderful day.

[Slytherin Beater]

Bella woke sleepily, closing her eyes and attempting to roll over. As she rolled, Bella noticed she had rolled the wrong way and literaly fallen out of bed. Mumbling curses, she picked herself up of the floor. Bella was quite tempted to get back into her bed and go back to sleep but she figured she should probably get down to the quidditch pitch. ''It wont kill you to be early for a change!'' Bella told herself. She quietly got dressed and headed towards the great hall for a spot of breakfast.

Bella walked onto the pitch, noticeing the warm weather. As usual she had skipped breakfast, being to nervous because of the upcoming match. Not even the warm hash browns could tempt her today. Bella blinked rapidly, due to the bright sun shinning directly into her eyes. Bella quickly looked away, and looked to see who else had made it so far. From what she could see, it was Violet, Kaylee, Gemma and herself. Plus one lonely Gryffendor. Bella smiled, outnumbering the opposition was fun!

Bella mounted her broom and kicked of from the ground. Due to the loverly weather, the ground was quite hard and it was easy to push off high. Bella did a few laps as a warm up Before flying over to where her team mates were gathered. ''Hey guys!'' She greeted them, ''Only one opponent so far. Hopefully this wont be a repeat of our match against Hufflepuff!'' Bella said, remembering that match. Only three Huffies had turned up. A keeper, a seeker and one chaser who had fainted about five minutes into the game.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

That morning found Pamela running around in a slightly crouched stance. This, of course, should have elicited strange looks from her dorm mates. They were all there for once, but asleep. Well, all except Katie who, it stood to reason, was probably already at the match. After about two minutes of that strange running and an annoying buzzing sound, she finally dove to the ground, shouting, "Gotcha, ya stupid little bugger!" Almost immediately the buzzing stopped, much to Pamela's pleasure. She looked around to make sure the new rolling alarm clock she had gotten to replace the one she'd smashed last Monday hadn't bothered anyone else. In fact, Pamela began to question whether they were even alive. Poking Kael and Rose she said, "Are you guys still here?"

Shrugging, Pamela wondered if the rest of the team was up. She sure as heck hoped so. They were playing Slytherin, which meant the "silver trio" as they called themselves: Cat, Gemma, and Kaylee. Gemma and Kaylee were both rather skilled chasers and, even though their skill really had no effect on Pamela's position, playing against them always made her moderately intimidated--though she made sure to never show it. Then there was Cat. She was their seeker and captain. She, too, was quite good. Pamela was going to have to step up her game.

Throwing on her usual robes, Pamela tried to think of a special way to show spirit. She decided that today she would go all out. She probably still had some time. Pulling out her wand she charmed her face so that one half was scarlet, the other gold. Then she got a temporary tattoo she had of the Gryffindor banner and put it on her right cheek. Her hair was already her favourite medium red with golden blond highlights--she called it Gryffie-hair. Her final step was to magic her broom handle gold and the tail scarlet. She also attached a charmed loudspeaker-thingie to the front that would shout "Go, Go Gryffindor!" whenever she pushed the button.

With her Gryffie-tastic appearance and gear, Pamela made her way down to the great hall and grabbed a couple pieces of toast and jam. Then she headed down to the locker room. It was empty which could either be a good or bad sign. Usually, Cris decorated the locker room but Pamela knew she hadn't been feeling well, so before going to bed Pamela had made up a giant banner to post over the entrance to the pitch. It had a magically animated drawing (albeit rather poorly drawn) of--well--pretty much the "destruction" (figuratively speaking of course) of the Slytherin team. It had a heading that read "Go, Go Gryffindor!" Then she finished up by putting gold and scarlet streamers all over as well as signs on each locker that showed a picture of a lion squishing a snake that had a heading of "Crush Slytherin!"

Even after all the work she did, when she made it to the pitch there still wasn't much activity. There was only one Gryffie present, Katie, to whom Pamela waved a quick hello. Then she greeted the Slytherin players who had made it onto the field. As she did few quick Lion's Laps around the field (this pretty much consisted of her swooping around the pitch, periodically making her broom yell it's cheer), she wondered if this would particularly annoy the Slytherins, and she smirked mischeviously at the thought.

[Slytherin Chaser]

As she was trying hard to keep her mind concentrated on her wifey, Gemma noticed that said wifey was actually sarting to speak to her once again. Determined not to miss anything this time around, she listened intently and was devastated at what she heard coming out of the mouth of Banana. She was telling her off for not listening to her, she said that talking to her was wasting her breath! Hoping this was all one of the sick jokes they all pulled off sometimes, she took a look at the expression on her wifey's face, but she was looking as serious as she rarely ever did, and severity was written into her eyes. Gemma had never imagined this expression could even be found on that lovely face, but now it was and she was the one whose fault it was.

Upon realizing this she could feel tears welling up in her eyes, ready to travel down her cheek, scolding her for her stupidity, showing her shamefulness that would hopefully get her some mercy. But before the first wet drop had a chance to slip from her eyes she saw her Banana's face scrunch up in obvious thoughtfulness before lightening up again. Gemma felt confused, but as she heard the next words coming from her wifey she bit back the tears and tried to come up with a smile from somewhere inside. It had actually been one of those jokes, she had not messed anything up and Banana was confident that she was in fact the one who was continuously spacing out. But still the fact that she could giggle at the sight of her almost crying made Gemma feel a sting somewhere inside. Yet now was not the time to worry about personal problems in her marriage, that one game against Hufflepuff had been enough drama, she couldn't have that again.

Trying not to let the other know how bad she actually felt she scanned over the pitch once more. She saw Violet, their team's keeper, stepping onto the pitch, munching on some toast and excusing for being late. Well, there wasn't yet a reason to excuse herself, seeing as the game hadn't fully started so far. Checking out the rest of the pitch she spotted a lonesome Gryffindor, exactly at the same second in which Kay started talking to her again. She had to agree on her opinion off that pet cat not looking appropriately scared and glared at her from her position up in the air. There was no way she could not have heard of them yet, how could she look so optimistic and, yeah, there were no other words for it, confident of victory? She smirked as Kay suggested pulling off a special move to show her what she was in for, imagining the helplessness that girl would face once she saw the awesomeness her and her wifey would display. They quite much where the embodiment of awesomeness, so hell yeah, that kitty should be scared and intimidated, not happy and grinning- or at least that was Gemma's opinion!

Gemma felt the Slytherin inside her take over and while her Banana flew away. She didn't bother watching whatever maneuver the girl was practising as she was assured she would only have a heart attack at the sight of the risk that lunatic was taking. Of course she was just as much of a lunatic, but at least she didn't fly around threatening her life just for the fun of it! Yet she couldn't help but peek a look at the latest maneuver, and her heart actually seemed to stand still for a second as she saw her wifey almost hitting the ground, spinning towards it and obviously enjoying it! Just at the very last moment she pulled herself up, barely touching the ground, and Gemma let out a relieved breath she hadn't realized she was holding. She was practically feeling herself the adrenaline rush this must have caused...

Averting her eyes so the terror probably visible in them wouldn't cause her to be laughed at again, Gemma looked at the stands once more. To her surprise, she could spot a Slytherin supporter merged into the mass of red-and-gold clad Hufflepuffs, and then she remembered having heard that Jamoki, one of her teammates, was going out with one of them badgers.

Sweet, really sweet. Seems we made a first step there to unite the houses, that's cool. Who'd have thought that of all the houses, the evil Syltherins would be the ones to be involved in business like that? Hah, that'll show them biased others...

As she thought of house unity and the houses in general, a sudden thought struck her mind and she remembered some of the chants she had come up with not too long before that day. Okay, so she still couldn't remember all the lines to the one for her very own house, which was kind of embarassing of course, but she was quite confident she could put together the whole anti-Gryffindor thing again. She smirked evilly and turned around to Banana who had recently come flying back to her side, apparently done with her neck-breaking practicing. And she also seemed to be whole, nothing looked broken and there wasn't a bruise to be detected on her body at first look. Once more relieved and anxious to break the news of her chant, she grinned ready to speak, but before she could do so Kay had started talking once more, smiling brightly as she had finished.

"Well, I do think that I still need to polish my flying skills, and the whole upside down thingy...umm, I guess I still need to get a grip on that, but it seems I've gotten some practice so far, so it shouldn't be too hard to get on this lovely broomstick again should I happen to dangle under it once more. Speaking of which, I think we should also try involving that whole thing into some maneuver. Do you remember that SSC move we once wanted to pull off but never got to actually do? Well I think we should add that to our list of moves to intimidate that lonely little girl over there, don't you think so?"

Waiting for a reaction she leaned back on her broom so she was half-sitting, half-lying on it, the sun shining onto her face and warming her. She couldn't wait for the match to start, she really desired to wipe that grin off the opposing Chaser's face- yeah, she couldn't stand it if people didn't pay her and her mates enough respect. And she was pretty sure people were supposed to be afraid of her and her wifeys' skills. But maybe she was just being conceited...she was after all a Slytherin!

While she was still waiting for her Banana to answer, she turned her head to the side and skimmed the pitch yet again. Yepp, she could surely not wait any longer for that match to start. Patience had never really been one of her strengths, she had to admit that. This time around she saw yet another person walk onto the pitch and she once more squinted her eyes since in this position her hood-idea didn't really help keep out the sunlight. Once she had shifted so that that changed she recognized the new player as Bella, another one of her fellow teammates, a beater in fact. She wore a confident and joyful smile on her face, and Gemma was delighted to see that her team seemed to be sporting a general confidence at the moment. This was definitely the attitude that would help them in winning! She observed the warm-up laps of the beater and flying over towards her and Kay, greeting them and talking about how there was only one Gryff so far.

She returned the greeting grinning and just as she was about to agree on the negative idea of having a repeat of the Huffie match a movement caught her attention. It was a walking blaze of red and gold that was stepping onto the pitch and after a moment of thinking she recognized it as Pamela, the seeker of Gryffindor, who was waving at her lonesome teammate and actually greeting them Slytherins. Gemma ouldn't help but smile, it was nice to see such a friendly person, but she knew herself too well. She would just have to use this chance of being her evil Slytherin self, so she pulled her wand from the back of her robes - painfully reminded of her earlier hunt to get it - and directed it at the opponent, whispering a spell to herself.

This will make her think about dying her skin next time around, I'm quite sure of that!, she mused as she imagined seeing Pamela at breakfast the next morning. See, the spell was one that cast a protective layer of something like magical varnish over the colour on the face of the girl. So she would run around sporting her house colours for quite some time, and Gemma hoped she might just get sick of that at some point and learn to never pull off as much of a show again. Then she heard the yelling that came from the girl's broom somewhere, and she couldn't help but groan in annoyance. That one was definitely tough, breaking her determination would surely be a challenge! Naturally this was elating Gemma, since she had always loved a challenge every once in a while, and the plain evil plans for waking up her wifeys were slowly growing old. Here was her next chance to shine for the next game: be more supportive of your team than she's of hers!

Scheming silently, she turned back to her Banana, the whole idea just having reminded her that she had a chant to announce so they could tame the pride and optimism of those two little pet cats. She leaned in and whispered the lines into the ear of Kay, hoping that she'd like them so they could use them for some mischief until the game would start.

[Slytherin Captain and Seeker]

Cat laid her bed in the middle of a delightful dream involving the realm of British Sci-fi, Doctor Who, and of course it’s spin-off series. At first she was investigating an event of rift activity and an alien occurrence with the Doctor, Captain Jack Harkness, and for some odd reason Captain John Hart. Then all of a sudden her dream self began dancing, which really wasn’t all that bad since it was with John and that fact made her inner fangirl squee with joy. She didn’t realize something was a bit odd until she started to hear a mad laughter, which oddly resembled Gemma’s.

Slowly awaking from unconsciousness, Cat began to realize she wasn’t just dancing in her dream. Her feet were moving around on their own, dancing around much like they had in her dream. Instantly she knew who was responsible, Kay. After all both Cat and Gemma had their turns to wake each other up, so that meant it was without a doubt Kay’s turn for revenge. Cat scowled and, with some difficulty, made her way off her bed. She looked on her night stand for her wand, but of course it wasn’t there. She scowled again and looked around the room, while still dancing, for her wand.

Eventually she found her wand, hanging from the chandelier. She almost cried at the idea of having to get her wand. Really, did Kay want her to miss the match? She quickly began looking around the room for spots that would help her reach. Luckily, she could reach from a bed. The only trouble was getting on the bed with dancing feet. After a while though she was able to get on the bed and reach the wand. Along with the wand was a note with the spell to remove the dancing spell. She performed it quickly and hurried to get ready for the match, hoping she wouldn’t be too late.

After she had her gear on and her broom in hand, she ran out of her dorm and headed to the pitch. She didn’t make any stops except for her one pause when she saw a bunch of Slytherins just sitting around when they should be supporting their house. ‘Unsupportive brats,’ she thought to herself as she continued on her way.

It didn’t take much longer before she made it to the pitch. She hopped on her broom and rose up in the air. She saw Violet and Ziggy, the team Keeper and one of the Beaters. She then saw Kaylee and Gemma and glared at them. Yeah Gemma didn’t cast the spell on her, but she also didn’t uncast it when she could have.

Also on the field, were a Gryffindor Chaser and Seeker. She sighed in disappointment that one of them was a Seeker because that meant she had competition. Not that she didn’t love the thrill of competing, it was just that she wasn’t really feeling good and this meant she had to try harder.

‘Oh well,’ she thought to herself. ‘At least I can say I am actually playing this game instead of being the only Seeker thus the only one who can catch the little golden ball.’ She began gazing around the pitch, hoping to find the snitch before Pamela.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

\\Am I understanding correctly that we are supposed to act as if the balls are released? I hope so.//

Pamela looked a little suspiciously at Gemma. She thought she had seen Gemma point a wand at her, but wasn't certain. Probably revenge for my super-fantastic-gryffie-fanaticism! Pamela thought, although she didn't really look forward to whatever Gemma had planned. Just to possibly peeve Gemma further, Pamela pushed her cheering button and smiled cheesily when it yet again hollered "Go, Go Gryffindor!"

Shortly after the little cheer finished, Pamela was just flying forward when she saw another speck of green walk onto the pitch out of the corner of her eye. Looking back, she saw that Cat, the other seeker, and joined her team in the air. Pamela was torn between relief at the thought that it wouldn't be just her, and disappointment that she wouldn't have it easy. As she was about to nod a greeting to Cat, Pamela saw that the snitch was directly behind the Slytherin seeker. This is going to be difficult

Executing a Swimmer Roll (just like the little flip/turn swimmers do at the end of the pool to turn around and finish the lap, only performed midair), Pamela held up a finger at Cat and flew toward her at a steady pace. She was hoping to make Cat think that Pamela had something to inform her about. Pamela decided that if this play was pulled off by some miracle, she would name it the Grace of Deity Rouse. Once Pamela got close enough to Cat, she would accelerate and begin a race to the snitch, hopefully ending in Pamela's catching of said snitch.

(Slytherin Keeper)
Violet flew to her potion in the sky. “Great another game with no one out here.” She said. “I’m never going to get a chance at trying to be keeper.” Violet huffed and lean back on a goal. She watched as Gemma and Kay talked and as the seeker of the Gryffies thinking about something. ‘Oh no, she is going to do something to Kat isn’t she?’ Violet thought but decided that Gryffies were not that mean. Violet decided to fly a bit incase the chaser from the other team decided to come out there. The sun shone in Violet’s eyes and she wished she had brought some sun glasses. “I’m going to be blind before the game ends.” She said to herself as the snitch zoomed by her head. ‘Oh God, I hope the seeker didn’t see that.’ Violet thought. Cursing herself for not yelling for Kat, she knew that with her not on her broom yet, Pam could easily had got it.

“Damn game, No one even comes to them anymore. I’m sure us Slytherins don’t stink.” Violet said and lifted her arm up t smell. “It’s not me.” Violet said and flew around the rings again. She had just flew around another ring when she was turned upside down. Eye’s widen, she tried to get back up but couldn’t. Deciding to let her legs go, she thank her lucky stars that there was a goal under her and she grabbed for one of the hoops and stood in it, only 2 and half inches for her feet to stand on. “Come here you stupid- I mean, my lovely and best firebolt broom stick in the world.” Violet said and the broom itched towards her but backed up. “Oh come on. I never did anything wrong.” Violet said. The broom started to go to her but backed up and gained speed and flew passed her and she fell. “Ahhhhh!” Violet screamed falling until she felt her broomstick under her.

“You little sneak. You wanted me to fall didn’t you so you could have fun.” Violet huffed and slew back up to her goal. Laying her head her down on her the end of the broomstick, she wished the game would hurry up she could get back to sleep. Violet felt the sun in her eyes again and she huffed. “This game is taking forever.” Violet said.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Shielding her eyes from the ever-present sun, Pamela continued to make her way toward Cat, doing her best to keep her eyes on the other seeker rather than glancing at the snitch. This was not an easy task, as she was afraid she would lose sight of the golden ball. Once she was just a few feet away from Cat, who had not made a move either to show belief or disbelief in Pamela's little attempt, Pamela leaned forward on her broom and accelerated past her.

The wind, though light when she was stationary, rustled her hair. Pamela could feel her robes behing whipped around her. The little glint of light was getting nearer and nearer. Any moment now, Pamela would find the grace of whatever deity helped her in this case. Her rouse would be successful. Pamela reached her left hand out, not daring to breathe. She was there. The instant she felt one of the wings brush her fingertips, Pamela closed her hand around the now struggling ball. Letting out a sigh of relief, she pushed the cheering button on her broom three times, holding the snitch in the air.
