JUDGES THREAD : Round 2 - Chastity

An understanding of virtues is different for different people. My understanding is loosely based on Wiki's account;

Severus Snape : 40
Your write up helped here and I like the idea of being surrounded by its oposite sin. The style is well chosen and did you colour your hair or have you gone white with th stress of this event??!!

Ellemanae : 42
A well thought out photo here, though it doesnt come across completely perfect. Backdrop idea is great, though again, something not quite right, though this is a very good try

chiffonpuff : 28
I believe that virtues are probably more difficult than the sins, and this is reflected within this photo shot. Im not sure that I get the feel of chastity overly much here, and pose is perhaps not quite right.

Write up helps here and gives a better understanding of this shot. Love the bunnies pose, too, you must give me his agents name and number! One thing that strikes me here, is that perhaps the post shows a little too much leg on one side.

kathrineee_anne : 35
Education and betterment of my understanding comes across loud and clear in this shot. Model seems to have worked very hard, as she seems to have lost her arms! Style is relevent, though perhaps not the best of choices and anger seems to be portrayed from her facial expression which deters from the outlook of photo.

KatieBellaTrix : 40
A nice portrayal of chastity, possibly not what I was expecting but it works well, and write up helps. Lovely choice in dress, you must tell me who designed it for you!

violetriddle : 28
Unfortunately the first thing that hit me with this shot is the background. Yes, to me, it is perfect, but it has been used before in this category and so points must be deducted for this. Style is good, though not quite right in my mind. Hair lovely.

Belldandy : 41
Now this shot I like. It is not a perfect portrayal, yet so far none of the shots in my mind have been, thoug the innocence outlook works really well. Use of lighting in background enhances your model and I love the background. Hair perhaps needs some attention. A good attempt, though.

Elana : 47
I love the pose! This is perhaps the best pose I have seen in this category so far and although costume is slightly dated, it works well in this category. Background good, though not perfect, though this is one of the best shots so far in this round.

Herbaceoustraitorous : 27
Should she be saying 'theres no place like home' with her ruby red slippers? A mixture of dorothy from the wizard of oz and little red riding hood with a slight change of colour! Im not sure clothing style works here, though facial expression and prop works wonders.

Again, here we see another great pose and costume, although slightly dated, again works well. Background fits in with category and backs model up well and hair and facial are great.

Yes, yes, yes! Now my understanding of this virtue is that of a holy one, and the nun, although not very flattering attire, is the perfect image. The background is great and even your glasses enhance this (even though I know your model wears these all the time!). Great attempt!

Shausto-la : 48
This is another wonderful attempt at this category. Clothing style works well and facial and hair perfect. Pose slightly below perfect, though not by much. Background beautifully enhances feel of photo shot.

Gemma_Cullen-Malfoy : 38
One thing which lets this shot down is the clash in colours of models clothing and background. It is very bright and perhaps needed a sunglasses warning before viewing. Concept very good, though, and pose works well with this, extremely well perhaps!

Severus Snape: 38
A nice outfit which I think represents the category well. However, it's just a little *too* boy-band-westlife for my tastes. I like the wings, and the contrast in colours is great.

Ellemanae: 45
I love this outfit and the whole effect of the shoot. The dress style and colour fit the category well, and your location is fab.

chiffonpuff: 30
Waist up, this is great, however the black hotpants really ruin the effect. Good choice of background, however.

This is a nice, stylish outfit, yet I don't think it's quite right for the theme. It's a little *too* conservative. Nice background and contrasting colours, however.

I can't see how this represents chastity at all. It looks sloppy and is a lazy rendering of this category.

KatieBellaTrix: 37
I can see where you're coming from on this outfit: pure and chaste princess of the castle. The dress is nice, but the background looks a little out of place.

Like Kathrine's outfit, this doesn't seem to represent the category at all and looks a little sloppy. However, I can see where you're coming from from the write-up.

Belldandy: 37
This is a very pretty dress, with lovely contrasting colours. I think the colours however do clash with your hair and the background you've chosen.

I can see what you tried to do with this outfit, but on the whole it doesn't work. The dress is a little too fussy...too much froofroo and the blue is a little bland.

I don't really see how this represents chastity, especially with shorts as short as those! The outfit is nice to look at however, and the colourful background redeems you.

Sometimes a plain white dress with little adornment really works - and it does here. The dress is very flattering and the background is lovely.

This is a cute outfit and the floaty shirt is bang on trend. The colours are bright and vibrant and work really well.
