Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

Holly looked up suddenly.
"You'll be RULING?" she asked scandilised, hugging Natalie.

Shaeman walked forwards and wrapped his arms around VIolet sadly.
"I can't promise, but I'll try."

Shadow nodded, playing with the hem of her cloak.

Violet nodded, hugging him back. "I'll miss you." She said.

"So...you'll be like...a queen?" asked Natalie, sad, but impressed.

Holly turned away to look behind them at Shadow and smiled grimly.
"Didnt think it'd end like this," she muttered.

Shadow shrugged.
"I don't know. Since my father," She scowled, "was killed, I have to take over."

"I'll miss you too." Shaeman whispered.

"You'll be a good ruler," Holly murmured.

Violet nodded, hugging him for as long as she could before he left, tears rolling off her face.

"You'll keep those people safe...as you kept us safe," NAtalie sobbed.

"I'm still in your debt," Holly pointed out to Shadow, determindly looking anywhere but the sobbing Violet.

Shadow bit her lip, but didn't manage to stop tears from falling. She didn't want to rule, but she had no choice.

"As am I," said Natalie.

Shadow smiled sadly, despite the tears falling.
"When you make friends, you have to keep them close."

Holly moved awkwardly towards her.
"L' dont cry Shadow," she said hollowly.

"I'll miss you Shadow." Violet said from by Sheaman. "Theres no way I can come is there?" She asked them

"You won't be accepted in Synairn and Aspheri isn't safe." Shadow said. She put her head in her hands, trying to stop crying.

Natalie ran at Shadow and hugged her tight.

"I'M GONNA MISS YOU SO MUCH," cryed Natalie, hugging Shadow.

Violet nodded. "I guess not." She said, holding her head down.

Holly choked slightly at the sudden outburst but looked up at the mountains behind hogwarts and imagined a better time.

Shadow hugged Natalie back.
"And I'll miss you."

Violet turned her head, facing Shaemans chest. "It's not fair." She said.

Holly squinted a little and looked over everyones head.

"It'll be so weird here without you...who will teach me how to play chess...who will save me and Holly every five seconds...who will give me hugs like you do....who will laugh at my bad jokes," NAtalie sobbed, still hugging Shadow.

"Our lives are never fair." Shaeman said. He took something from his pocket, a simple chain with a small pendant, a pegasus being ridden by a girl resembling Violet. He hug it around your neck. "You can talk to me if you wear this."

"Who's going to keep me sane?" Shadow said. "Who's going to try to make me laugh and constantly annoy me with really bad jokes?"

Natalie laughed through her tears.

"You can always rely on you Shadow," said Natalie, giving Shadow a watery smile.

"Who's gonna save me when I get in trouble huh?" Holly asked Shadow, a tiny hint of a smile playing at her.

Violet smiled. "I can?" She asked and jumped up, hugging him around the neck again, crying harder.

"You're gonna have to ask Nat Holly."

Shaeman nodded.
"I put spells on it, so that you can."

Voiolet smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "How will I know if your listening?" She asked.

"Because you'll see an image of me, and I'll see an image of you." Shaeman replied.

Holly nodded and moved in to hug Shadow.
"But she sucks at saving people," she muttered.

"You'll have to put up with it."

Violet nodded. "Then, we really want be leaving each other, just not in our minds." She said, smiling.

"I won't save Holly half as well as you did Shadow...but I'll try," said Natalie.

Shaeman kissed Violet gently.


"You'd better. If I sense that somethig's wrong, I swear I will kick you butt if I ever see you again." Shadow said.

Holly smiled slightly and then drew back so quickly she nearly fell over.
"HOLY- "
Holly glanced over at George.
"You can move dimensions right?" she asked in a frenzy.
George shrugged.
"I think so...,"
Holly was gobsmacked.
"Well that.....that means I can....that.....I need a slushie,"
She conjured one.

Violet kissed back and pulled away, laying her head on his chest. "I hate this, life hates us." She said.

"A pair of starcross'd lovers..." Shaeman said softly.

"I wouldn't recommend it George." Raven warned.

Natalie looked at Holly.

"You wouldn't move dimensions...then I'll never see any of you again," said Natalie.

Violet cried again. "Where's that muggle book at?" She asked. "That way I can read it." She said.

"What muggle book?" Natalie asked.

"Romeo and Juliet." Saeman said quietly. "Anywhere in the muggle world."

Violet nodded. "I'm going to read it." She whispered.

Shaeman nodded, not knowing what else to say.

"Not MOVE dimensions," Holly said to Natalie, "Come and go, y'know.....,"

Raven glanced at the sky, telling the time by the sun.
"We have to go." She said softly.

Violet kissed him once more before taking a step back. "I'm going to talk to Shadow." She siad.

Shaeman nodded. He morphed into his pegasus from and walked slowly over to Raven, head down, wings drooping. Raven fixed a few bags onto his back.

"Oh good," said NAtalie to Holly.
