Shadow, Raven and Shaeman's leaving party.

The trio stood in the shadows just inside the forbidden forest, waiting for the friends that they had called. Everyone had been called so that they could say a last farewell before they had to leave them, their home, Hogwarts, everything, and return once more to their home dimension. Shadow held her head low, trying not to cry. Raven was picking at the hem of her cloak, and Shaeman was emotionless, even though he screamed out to the sky in his heart. They had told no one that they were leaving, and now was the time to tell them, before anyone tried to find a way to let them stay.

Shadow had read the stars so often, that she knew that there was no hope of being allowed to stay. The High Priestess' orders were clear. All Synari were being called back to their home dimension, no exceptions. She blinked back her tears desperately, trying to put a brave face on their leaving, but to no avail.

Raven wasn't crying, but her heart was filled with anger. Anger at the orders they had received. Just as they found their place and a close circle of friends, somewhere that didn't care who your parents were or how dangerous you were, they had to be ripped cruelly from everything that they wanted.

Shaeman stood a little way off, standing with two pegusi, one a rich brown, the other pure black. He was rubbing the black one's shoulder, trying to sort out his head. One part of him wanted to break down and cry, the other begged him to scream aloud in anger, but he did neither. It was not his place. He had found company on Earth, even though he was more dangerous than his half sisters, he had found a girl he loved more than anything, but no. It was not meant for him. Not for someone like him.

Shadow's grip in Merlas' mane tightened as she tensed.
"I told you, I'll deal with it."

"You can deal with it on your own as well as sharing it you know Shadow," said Natalie.

Violet walked around the room, picking up her diary and hiding it. Looking for everything that she hated, she grabbed them, throwing it away to. "Ok, as long as Nixy doesnt tell, I may be off the hook." Violet mumbled quietly. "And if Shadow doesnt break into my mind..."She added on

"There is nothing wrong." Shadow hissed, her eyes narrowing under her hood.

Shaelan had awoken, and had been watching Violet silently.

Violet grabbed her old clothes, throwing them away to. Making sure all her bottles where gone to, she turned around and jumped slightly, to see Shaeman awake. "Have a nice nap?" She asked.

Shaeman say up and raised an eyebrow.
"What are you trying to hide?"

"My diary." Violet aswered softly.

"Ok then...but it's very hard talking to someone who is so under a hood you cannot even see her face...not that it's a big deal," said Natalie.

((Shadow...I will be offline for like two weeks starting tomorrow as I am in Malta for that period of time...and Hannah AKA Holly won't be on for a week as she is coming over to Malta on my second week to have fun in the sun with moi and my rents))

SHadow reached up with one hand and pushed back her hood. Her violet hair was pulled back in a plait that now reached her hips, and had gained several new white streaks. She bowed her head, hating the now skeletal face she had, with its deathly pallor and sunken, tired eyes.

"So...what happen?" Violet asked, walking back to the bed and sitting down.

"I love your hair...it's very...gothic," said Natalie, smiling slightly.

Shaeman looked at Violet.
"You're not just hiding your diary."

Shadow turned her head to look at Natalie fully.
"Do you think I dyed my hair like that?"

"Yes I was." Violet said, looking down at the floor. "Thats it." She said, bit her lip.

"No...I have known all along that you had purple hair," said Natalie, turning to face Shadow without fear.

"I am no idiot, Violet, tell me the truth." Shaeman replied.

Shadow bowed her head again.
"It was so cold, there was no emotion, nothing but the darkness..."

Violet bit her lip again, wondering if she should. "I...it really shouldnt be a big deal I guess. Maybe to me, I dont know. I...just dont want to say right now." Violet said, feeling tears come to her eyes.

Shaeman stood up and wrapped Violet in his arms.
"You can tell me."

"No, you would hate me. Nixy already does." Violet said, moving his arms from around her.

"I promise that I won't." Shaeman said.

"And...thats what happened to you...you've been there so long....it's like dementors...only worse...am I right?" Natalie asked.

Violet looked back down, bit her lip. "I...well when you left, I started drinking, worse then I ever did. Well.....Draco was there, and one thing led to another....I was drunk, I didnt know what was going on!" Violet said, looking at him. "I told Nixy, I felt bad, like I was the only bad guy, that it was all my fault. But it was not just mine. It was his to, and I cheated on you." Violet said, looking down. "Go ahead, yell,fuss, scream. Because Nixy already did." Violet said, walking over to her bed and sitting down.

"Violent dementors." Shadow whispered. She pointed to a gash that reached from her eyebrow down to her jaw that had been stitched carefully.

Shaeman raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not going to get angry, that would be very bad."

"But...I cheated. I went and done something that can never be changed." Violet said, pulling her legs up to her chest. "I wouldnt blame no one but me if you got mad." Violet said.

Natalie looked shocked.

"And you haven't told Raven about this?" said Natalie.

Shaeman shook his head.
"You moved on, you didn't think I was going to come back. It is normal."

Shadow shook her head slowly.
"She doesn't need anything else to worry about."

"But I didnt move on. I still love you, and I always will." Violet said, looking at him.

Natalie looked at Shadow.

"And...now your back, can you feel yourself healing?" Natalie asked.

Shadow shook her head again.
"No, I haven't the strength to heal myself."

Violet took a deep breath. "So what happen? Are you going to tell me?" Violet asked, whispering.

"Could I help?" Natalie asked, "if I researched it and did the magic for you....would that work?"

Shadow shook her head.
"The magic I use, it's too difficult to harness without years of training."

Shaeman shrugged.
"About what?"

"While you were gone? You said you wouldnt tell me just yet." Violet said, patting the bed.

Shaeman shook his head.
"It is a story for another time."

"So...you basically refuse to tell the only person who can help you," said Natalie, feeling uneasy, "you do know what you're risking, don't you Shadow?"

Violet nodded, laying down on her bed. "I'm sorry." She said.

"I know, I just need time." Shadow replied.

"There is nothing to be sorry about." Shaeman said, sitting next to her.

"Nixy didnt feel that way. One minute me and her are swimming with Holly and Rec, next I'm telling her what happen." Violet said.

Natalie nodded.

"I'd advise you not to leave the school for a while....this is the most magic place I know....your strength will be restored more easily here," said Natalie.

Shadow nodded slowly.
"I see the point in your words."

Shaeman out his head on one side.
"Well, I mind not, and that is all thzt matters."

Natalie grinned.

"Not many people do," she said, smiling slightly.

Shadow sighed, playing with Merlas' mane.

Violet nodded, laying on her back. "I regret it." She said. "I may never pick up a bottle of firewhiskey again." Violet said.

Shaeman smiled at her.
"Well, they always say to rink with moderation."

"Do you know whats wrong with Shadow?" Violet asked him.

"Not really." Shaeman replied.

Natalie looked at the ground.

"I've been hexing myself...I felt I always had to punish myself for everything I did or said I was so depressed in those two months you were away...I felt challenged by everyone around me...forsed to do well...like more than I usually do," whispered Natalie

"I wish I did." Violet said. Violet sat up, getting off her bed and looking under it. "I knew it." She mumbled, grabbing Luthwing.

Shadow looked at Natalie.
"Was it really that bad while I wasn't here?"

"What's that?" Shaeman asked.

"Yes...I was depressed all the time...I didn't come out of my room...only studying took my mind off it a bit...I thought I would never see you again," said Natalie, frowning.

"My snake." She said, pulling him around her neck. "It's my baby." She told him, laying back on her bed.
