Life After the Final Battle ( Final battle Two not HP)

Ralph walked back to hogwarts the next morning after the final battle and looked around. The place was a mess and would take a lot of work to clean up. He sniffled a bit and thought of his late sister Zelda Rundell her funeral was this morning along with all the other dead Order, teachers, and students.

Jamie walked in behind the guy and sighed, "my, my,my, YES! VOLDIES DEAD, HAHAHAHA"
"sorry i don't mean to alarm you" he said hoping the guy wasen't scared

Shadow shot a glare at Jamie before smoothing the wrinkles out of her black dress. She hated the Synari formal wear.

Ralph looked over to Shadow and smiled.. " Well .. we have a mess to clean up don't we." He said.

Shadow bowed her head.
"I suppose so." She said sadly, glad that the vambraces she was wearing allowed her to feel emotion without destroying anything. She closed her eyes, trying not to cry.

Ralph looked down at his feet and said.. " I wonder when everyone will get here."

"I don't know, but I hope that it will be soon." Shadow answered, resuming her usual, emotionless state.

Ralph nodded.

Shadow gazed out over the Hogwarts grounds.
"Things are going to change around here." She said softly, "I wish that Zelda was here to see it."

Emmalynn wandered into what should have been the Great Hall, looking around.

"Wow... This is pretty damaged..." she said sadly. She had not taken part in the battle because she was being held hostage, and she seriously regretted it. "This could take a while..."

Ralph waited for Oddie and Chris.

Chris walked up towards everyone in his black suit.

Chris sat down in a chair near the front. He had been to so many funerals lately becuase of Voldemort. Now that he was dead Chris wouldn't be at so many now, and he was very happy about that yat so sad to be at his friends funeral.

Jamie went and stood beside the coffin. "Zelda wouldn't want you to mourn the death of her, she would want you to celebrate the death of voldiemort and bellitrix and all the rest of the deatheaters we cleared out last night!" he said with his hand upon the coffin

Ralph went up and sat by so of his family and friends.. He than saw Oddie and Chris come in. He gave them a wave and looked up at the sky.

Chris waved back at Ralph and then looked down at the ground. This was one of the worst days of his life.

Ralph thought of where Zelda was going to be buried and the obvious place was with her parents.. That was In Godric's Hollow.. They would have the service at Hogwarts and than apperate to Godric's Hollow... Ralph looked up and noticed several more people coming.. He than looked at his watch and the funeral was 10 minuets way he walked over to where Chris and Oddie where sitting and said.. " Why don't we sit together.. oh and .. do you two want to say anything.. I can't say much seeing as I didn't know her that much." He said as he messed with his new black dress robes.

(Hm.. what now?)

Shadow walked over to the coffin, placing a fine gold chain with a phoenix pendant on it, which had been made in her own dimension. She turned away, closing her eyes and letting her tears fall, choosing a seat to the edge.

Jamie flicked his wand and he coungured a piece of ever-lasting good magic, "may this keep you safe in your after life.." he whispered as he layed it beside the other tokens...

Shadow kept her head bowed, thinking about Zelda.

Jamie noticed Shadow sitting on the edge of the row, he thought better of going near her, if she opened her mouth Zeldas coffin might explode,

Shadow sensed Jamie's thoughts, and replied telepathically.
I've blocked my magic for now.

he walked over, "you of all people should know that your power comes from your emotions" at that he took a seat beside her

"Hence why I'm wearing these." Shadow replied, pointing to the vambraces on her fore-arms.

" If thats a sacrafice your willing to make for your friend then im sure Zelda will miss you very much" he answered her as he put his arm around her

Shadow flinched slightly at the contact, but relaxed quickly again.
"It's only a part of what I feel I owe her." She said quietly, wiping a tear from her cheek.

"What else do you think you owe her?" he asked

"My life," Shadow replied. "She risked her own several times, always to save some one else. I had to make her believe that I had betrayed the Order once, even though I was only acting. I never had a chance to explain, or to apologise."

"There will always be things left unsaid Shadow," he explained "we all have regrets"

"I know, I know." Shadow said softly.

"well then, Zelda knows now that you valued her as a friend, your willing to put a bann on your our powers for her, that in-itself is a big sacrifice, If Zelda were alive and one of the others were dead, would she let you wear those bands?"

"Probably not." Shadow replied.

"there you go then"

Shadow didn't answer, but looked out over the lake, remembering the past.

"the past wont help you, i know that route, ive been there," he told her

" Someone has got to say something for all the people here.. all of you know her better than I ever knew her.. I will speak of her childhood ,but you three will have to talk of everything else.. I will start.." Ralph said as he looked at his watch.. three minuets... There was a warm wind in the air that told Summer was coming ,but yet it didn't feel that warm... it felt cooler than ever as though a blizzard had hit and he didn't know what to think or do.. Ralph turned around and looked at Oddie, Chris, Shadow, and Jamie. He nodded and than walked up to the front.. He stood there for a few seconds and than started..

" As long as I can remember I have known Zelda.. She was my sister and I was her brother.. As a child she always had fun playing on her toy broom and making a mess... She could make the meanest mud pie you ever saw.. Than eventually she got her letter to Hogwarts.. her parents where pleased when she got sorted into the house of Godric Gryffindor.. Almost ever Rundell has been in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.. she carried on the tradition and lived at Hogwarts.. the last I remember her at Hogwarts Charms where her strong point and transfiguration her weak point.. After that much I really don't remember much about her until last night... She was truly brave last night..." Ralph stopped.. he couldn't continue on.. He simply just stepped down and took a set in the front.. He waited for another person to come up for he couldn't tell the whole story because he wasn't there...

In the after life.

Zelda was standing at the front looking at Ralph when she went and sat by him.. She smiled and said.. "If I could only tell you I forgive you." She said as she just looked at him knowing that there was no way he could hear her.

"Iguess I will go next." Chris said. Chris stood up and walked towards the front of the crowd.

"Zelda Rundell was an extrodinary woman. She was an Order member, thats how I met her. She was very brave and a fun person to be around. She had been through so much. He had almost died once before, I guess the last time was just to much for her." Chris said. "I will truly miss her."

Chris walked down and sat in his seat and waited for someone else to go up.

Shadow stood up, wanting to say something.
"Zelda gave us all a chance when we needed it the most, showing that where you are from or who you are didn't matter as long as your intentions were just. She will be missed."

Jamie bowed his head and listened to the others

Ralph got a Little Nevis lessening to Oddie for he was a reformed death eater now.. After Oddie talked it was quite and Ralph looked a few others that came up to talk.. After a moment of silence he stood and walked over to Chris.. " Chris.. do you want to help me with the coffin. In our family it is traditional for the men to carried the coffin to the grave side.. In this case we would apperate with it.. " He asked.

"Sure, I can help." Chris said.

Shadow stood up as another cloaked girl approached. They bowed their heads to each other.
"It is indeed such a dark time when one so good must lay down their life for all that they believe in." The other girl said.
"Raven, everyone's time must come, but some are taken before theirs."
"Times will soon look up, in honor of what Zelda strived to achieve."
"I know, but I wish that she was here to see it." Shadow bit back a small sob, trying to regain her composure.
