Hogwarts After the Final Battle ( Final Battle Two not HP)

This is Hogwarts after the Final Battle.


There where a lot of people around Hogwarts the afternoon after the Final Battle and they where counting the dead, having funerals, and cleaning up Hogwarts.

Shadow and Raven were, for once, working together, repairing the broken parts of Hogwarts. Shadow was using her magic to gather the pieces of a fallen pillar, putting them back into their place, and standing the pillar up while Raven had Shadow's wand. She was using a continuous stream of fire to melt the pillar so that it was able to perform its normal place without Shadow's magic holding it in place.

Ishida was also helping out, he give out his reviving potion to some almost-dead person hoping to get the dead count lower. He also help repaired some of doors and other things broken during the fight. After giving out all his reviving potions, he looked at the sun that is high in the sky. "Well seems like we still have time before the night came" he said.

Shadow and Raven nodded to Ishida, and continued with their work.

Holly, meanwhile, was placing books back onto shelves in the broken library. It was hard to believe that George was gone. George, the spider monkey who had been her friend since she was just four. It was in silence that Holly placed the books, and in silence she spent most of her days.
All was well?
Ha!

Natalie entered the library.

"Hey....you ok...oh dear Lord.....where's George...oh no, oh dear....awk Hols," she hugged her friend, "what happened?" she asked her softly.

"Things happened," Holly said ambigiously, swearing to herself she wouldnt think about George at a time like this. Other people had lost families too, she had to think of them, "What about you, are you alright?"

"Not really......but then again....we all feel alone and isolated in the world now, even if our friends are there with us." replied Natalie sadly.

Shadow and Raven finished their work on the pillars and walked up to the library, meaning to give a hand. They saw Holly and Natalie there and bowed courteously.
"We came to help." Shadow said.
"We are deeply sorry about George." Raven said softly.

Holly nodded not taking her eyes off the shelves.
"Thank you Raven....and yeah, a little help would be great,"
And with a sinking feeling Holly realised help would never be an arms length away again.

Chris walked around outisde using his telekinesis to pick up the debris and repairing some of the broken stuff.

`Shadow and Raven nodded and hovered a few feet in the air, legs crossed in a lotus position. Several books began to fly around, some mending themselves, and then putting themselves on their shelf.

Holly watched thoughtfully, pondering Shadow and Raven's immense magic.
"Theres a lot of things you two can do that most people cant," Holly said slowly, "Any chance we could revive George with it?"

"I can't, I haven't got the magic for it, but Shadow knows a bit of light magic." Raven said, opening one eye.
"I think that it may be possible, but it will take time to research and a lot of energy." Shadow added.

"Oh?" Holly said, "And would you want to....I mean could you....will you?"
Holly swallowed, her future life depending on what her friend said next.

Shadow smiled slightly.
"Why not? Demons may be heartless, but it's not the same for us halves!"

Holly nearly screamed with happiness.
She also almost hugged Shadow, but then realised that might have made everyone uncomfortable, and so she made do with swelling with estaticness and biting her lip.
"T-Thank you," was all she could manage.
Best friends could obviously be found in the most unlikely of characters.

"I will try and research the spells as soon as I can." Shadow assured. "I can't make any promises that it will work, but I will try my hardest."

Holly nodded in deep thanks. For Shadow to try was all she needed.
"You rock chick," Holly said, and smiled for the first time in a while.

Shadow allowed herself a small smile.
"Those who are lost can be found."

Holly knew what she meant, deep in the back of her mind. Somehow.
Shadow was obviously deep.
"And ill help in anyway I can," Holly said, almost giddy with excitement, "And we can....we can work by the black lake maybe.....yeah?"

(im going to run and start a "Black Lake" topic lol)

Shadow smiled.
"Thanks for the offer, but unless you can read the language from my dimension, it's going to be quite hard."

"Oh....," Holly said, "Well I can stay with you if you want, and offer pep talks to keep you going....or I could just jabber nonsense in your ear...or I could keep quiet, but keep you company,"

Shadow shrugged.
"There are some things I'll need to know, because I will need to alter the spell to fit George."

"Then Ill give you all that," Holly said nodding earnestly, "Whatever it takes,"

"I'll do what I can." Shadow assured.

And Holly smiled.
There was someone dancing the rumba in her head, singing "YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAY" and jumped up and down excitedly.

Shadow watched the celebration, still half concentrating on the books.

Holly sensed Shadow could see her in head celebration, and quickly moved forward, to stop Shadow possibly banging her head off the wall.

Shadow knew this, and didn't move, instead pouring more magic into her efforts to mend the library

Holly nodded aprovingly at Shadow not hurting herself, and insted helped her and her sister put the books back, using her hands insted of impressive magic, which Holly so desperately was under the wing of.

Shadow and Raven soon finished the books and were stretching their cramped limbs (Because holding the same position while doing complex magic isn't easy.)

Holly sighed happily, looking at the now perfect bookshelf.
"Job well done guys," she said to the twins.

"Thanks." Shadow and Raven said in unison.

Holly stretched out.
"What next then?" she asked.

(A while ago I started that Black Lake thread i said i would, shall i delete it? lol)

"What do you mean?" Asked Shadow.

"I mean like. Where to now? Theres still a load to be done here....,"

(or did you mean, what did i mean by my thing in brackets?? Holly and Hannah are confused lol)

"We should start with the places that are in urgent need." Shadow and Raven said.

((No, that was my character talking, she was asking your character a question.))

"Absolutely," agreed Holly, "The Great Hall is in ruins...maybe we should do something to the tables...,"

(Oh alright lol!)

Shadow and Raven nodded.
"Do you want to teleport there? It might be safer." Shadow asked.

Holly swallowed. George had always taken her teleporting.
"Um, yes alright, but ill need to hitch a lift with one of you," she said anxiously, unsure if this were possible.

"Sure, just hold on." Shadow offered Holly her hand.

Holly stepped forward and took the hand Shadow offered, then she took a deep breath.

Shadow concentrated and disappeared, reappearing in the great hall.
"You ok?" She asked Holly.

"Spectacular," Holly said, legs shaking, "Thanks Shad....but I think I prefer walking!"

"I should have warned you that teleporting with a demon isn't quite the same as with an angel." Shadow said apologetically.

"Nah its fine," Holly said, clumsily trying to walk in a straight line, "Thanks for the lift. So shall we get started?"
Holly glanced around at the devestation.
"Checkerboard," she said, using her swearword, "This place got hit hard,"

"Ach man, even after the great battle in Synairn, the dimension didn't look this bad!" Raven said, appearing beside them.
"Oh well, we'd better get started." Shadow said, shrugging. The twins took up their meditation positions once more, and objects began to fly around.

Holly picked up one of Slytherin's table legs, took out her wand, muttered something and the severed leg was repaired once more.
"Id hate to be a Hogwarts cleaner," she muttered, then realised there was no George to hear her.

"Tell me about it." Shadow said.
