Shadow's home on Earth.

A lonely house stood un the middle of a field hidden by the dense forest and protected by many invisible charms from many dimensions, making the house practically invincible. Round the back of the house, sat a block of stables housing a small pegasus herd that Shadow had bred herself.

Shadow appeared at the tall iron gate into her house, which was surrounded by a high wall. Muttering several words in many languages though her projected thoughs, the gates opened and she led Violet and Phoenix through before closing them with yet more words. Shadow turned to her two friends. Welcome to my home. She signed to them.

Phoenix smiled as she hugged her.

"So now what?" She asked.

Phoenix shrugged her shoulders "The future" she said smiling.

Violet smiled and kicked the water.

Phoenix smiled, she came up behind her and pushed her in.

"Nixy!" Violet said, laughing. Grabbing Nixy's hand, she pulled her in with her.

Archangel screeched as the splash soaked her. SHe flew to the banks of the stream and morphed back into a soaking wet Archangel.

Violet looked at her and laughed. "Come on in." She said.

Phoenix lost her balance and fell in, "Riddy!" she said laughing.

Archangel grinned, unclipping her cloak and jumping into the stream.

Phoenix smiled as she jumped in.

Violet smiled, looking at Nixy. "When do you think Shaeman will be back?" She asked,

Archangel ducked under the surface of the water and swam behind Phoenix grinning as she surfaced, holding a struggling fish, but she let it go back into the water.

"Soon" she said "Have you seen Draco?" she asked.

Violet smiled at her and swam around a bit. "No..I havent." She siad

Phoenix nodded "ok" she said, pulling her wand out she changed her cloths into a swimsuit.

Shaeman flew low over the trees in his fiery chestnut pegasus form. He trotted over to the stream before using his wings to create a wave over the trio.

Violet laughed a bit, smiling at everyone. "Nixy...I need a hug!" She said.

Phoenix smiled and hugged her.

Shaeman morphed back ad stood on the bank, smiling at Violet.

Violet hugged her back adn looked at Archangel. "You get a hug to!" She said, attacking her with hugs

Phoenix burst out laughing.

Archangel giggled, but her face fell when she saw Shaeman glaring at her.

Violet looked at her and then at Shaeman. Letting ehr hands fall to her side, she got out of the water.

Phoenix turned around to see Shaeman.

"Archangel, you know your mother puts restrictions on you for your own safety. Go home." Shaeman ordered. Archangel nodded and grabbed her cloak, running off.

Phoenix got out of the water, wrapping a towel around her.

"She could have been with us. I'm sure Shadow trust nixy." Violet said to him.

Sheaman rolled his eyes, starting to walk after Archangel.

Phoenix remained slient

"Dont roll your eyes at me!" Violet hissed, walking behind him. "Be nicer to her, they are nothing but kids." She said.

"Kids with a heritage. Shadow wants them raised like she could never be, but she's still too lax about it." Shaeman hissed back.

Phoenix followed them.

"Let her raise them the way she wants then." Violet said, beginning to feel hurt.

Shaeman was stony faced.
"It's raising them like this that does the most damage."

Archangel was in her room, throwing a few things into a bag. She stood up, thinking about the theory she had learnt. She concentrated hard, trying, but nothing happened. She cursed.

"Raising them like kids does nothing but help them. Let her do her job." Violet said, glaring.

"You don't understand, do you?" Shaeman said.

Phoenix still followed.

"Understand what?" She asked, folding her hands over her chest

"Shadow doesn't meditate for a month, loses control and could bring round the apocalypse. That was when she was six. Those children are not far off that mark." Shaeman said.

"I dont understand but you should let her do her job." Violet mumbled, walking back to the house to find her.

Archangel finally managed to teleport, having decided to find her father.

Shadow looked up from the book she had been curled up on the couch reading as Violet walked in.

"Where's Archnangel?" She asked, leaving the door open for Shaeman and Nixy.

Shadow pointed up the stairs before standing up, worried.

Vilet ran up the stairs and opened the door. "Archangel?" She asked, looking around. "Archangel!" She yelled. "Shadow!" Violet asked, running down the stairs with panic on her face. "I cant find her." She said, starting to cry,

Phoenix walked through the door.

Shadow looked like she had been slapped. She ran up stairs, asked Onyx (who was reading in the library), searching the house until she got back downstairs and birst into tears.

"Shaeman.....where do you think she went?" She asked, tears rolling down her face

"Don't ask me." Shaeman said. Shadow looked up at Shaeman and slapped him. He staggered back and glared at his sister. If looks could kill, they'd both be dead.

"Hey, no fighting." Violet said, wiping her eyes. "Ok, she couldnt have gotten far." Violet said.
