Remember
to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the
pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly
begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have
scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the
main forum for more info.

((Hufflepuff Beater))

Matthew woke from a long sleep. He had made sure that he was prepared this time. The last match had gone terribly wrong because of his lateness and complete lack of concentration in the game. This time was going to be different. Matthew crawled out of his fourposter bed and slipped on his slippers. He had louds of time left to get ready but he made his way lazily over to the pile of quiddicth rbes that lay at the foot of his bed. Pulling on the boots that he was madewear he sighed becomming more and more nervous about the final than he thought he should have. Sopmwthing told him that he waa going to be the first at the pitch. But he mearly tip toed out of his dorm and down the stairs.

Matthew made it out the double doors and felt the cool breeze hit his face. He took one long gulp of the fresh air that wakend him immediatly. The air only made his stomach rumble. The butterflies were becomming ravenous, almost deadly to keep in his stomach. Matthew just walked on down the pitch hoping that no-one had stolen his bat from the changing room. Hopefully not.

Matthew walked into the changing room glad that his bat was still in the same place he'd left it after his last match. He smiled at his luck hoping it lasted the day. The yellow paint that matthew had put on the bat was no more than a few dots here and then. Steupid muggle paint, didn't last a crack! Matthew grabbed his broom from the closet and walked onto the pitch. Smiling. This wasn't home for him, it was the scariest place in the world. but Matthew would marry a vampire just for the danger.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"I can't forgive you, I know you want me to want you I want to," Skie sung absentmindedly to herself as she put the final touches on her new and improved doll, an offering to the quidditch gods for a successful game against the Slytherin team. "Oh great quidditch gods, I beg you to take this offering of a doll and incense to gain favor from you in the coming game!" The doll was dressed in Slytherin robes and there was the smell of vanilla candles all around the quidditch locker room. Holding out a match, because Skie felt it was not right to use magic whilst making an offering to the powerful gods of quidditch, Skie closed her eyes and lit the little wicker doll on fire. In the next second, the doll began to flame and turn black where the fir burnt it up. The smell of the incense began to overwhelm her, and eye watering, Skie watched as the remainder of the doll shriveled up and ended in a heap of ashes. Dousing the candles and feeling immediately better after her head cleared the strong scent from her nose, Skie bowed and said, "Thank you quidditch gods!" Adjusting her robes over her shoulders and straightening out the black and gold silk, Skie grabbed her trusty Firebolt, Timothy Jr. and headed out onto the pitch.

Waving at Matthew like a crazy person, Skie flew over to him and whispered, "The quidditch gods are on our side this time, hopefully." Not bothering to hear his reply, Skie flew off to do her laps before the game. "WHEEEEEEE!" Skie shrieked as she flew rapidly around the pitch as quickly as she could, screaming from pure exhilerating joy. Pulling herself into an upward spiral, Skie stared up into the sun and then pulled back and sent herself in a nosedive for the ground, clutching onto her broom as she sped into the green grass. "Whoopsie!" Skie cried as she yanked herself out of her nosedive with a foot to spare and her feet touched the dewy grass, leaving trails from where she had been. Stopping abruptly, Skie tried to concentrate for one second, but her thoughts were a muddled mess. "No more sugar for you!" Skie admonished herself firmly. "Oh my dear teamie, where are you guys?" Skie asked with a giggle.

{Slytherin Chaser}

Shadow had been lying awake for a few hours when her mind finally told her it was time to get up. She rolled over and grabbed her quidditch kit which she had layed out the day before. There was a note pinned to her bat saying that she was playing chaser today. With a shrug she put her bat aside and picked up her robes. The bat seemed to be in a huff, like it was watching her. Rolling her eyes, Shadow shouldered the small bag and left the dorm and her, for once on a quidditch day, snoring sister.

After a quick stop in the Great Hall for a bowl of cereal and the piece of toast she now munched on, Shadow strode down to the pitch. She changed quickly and sighed.
"Last game of the year." She thought sadly as she trudged out of the changing rooms and out onto the pitch. She scowled as she spotted two Huffies and the frown deepened as she saw the bat one of them was holding. She mounted her broom and started to warm up, enjoying the sun on her back as she looped the loop.

(HUFFLEPUFF KEEPER)

Kate woke with a start. Why am I waking so early? She thought. Racking her brains she suddenly remembered. QUIDDITCH! Kate leaped out of bed, pulled on her baggy t-shirt and comfortable jeans, picked up broomy - the Firebolt 01 - and ran down the dorm stairs 2 at a time. She felt fresh this morning, like nothing could go wrong.

Ariving in the great hall, Kate saw it was deserted all bar a few stragglers hoping to get a good seat in the stands. Kate grabbed a peice of toast and walked down to the quidditch pitch.

Stopping in the changing rooms to pull her uniform on, she ran out onto the pitch and leaped onto broomy. Seeing Mattew and Skie, Kate raced over towards them.

"Heya, How are you?" She asked. Waiting for the reply, Kate did a few loops and backflips on her broom. "I see Shadow is here, where is the rest of her team?".

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose was up early, watching the sun rise and waiting as patiently as she could for the Quidditch match to start. "Lalala, mememe, hahaha, lalala.." Rose hummed a tune happily as the clouds parted and the sun shown brightly over the Gothic castle. "I guess I autta get down to the pitch." Rose yawned and kissed her Joker plushie as she hoped over to her suitcase and grabbed some clothes. She jumped out the door and ran to the locker rooms as quick as her little feet could take her. She noticed Skie, who was already dressed and heading onto the pitch. Rose was going to flag her down and talk stratagy, then she smelled something burning. "Holly lip piercings, did she burn that voodoo doll? What on Earth was it supposed to be anyways?"

Rose tried to ignore the smell as she got dressed into her Quidditch gear and robes. She carefully grabed her baby broom, Alma and kissed her all over. "Oh, this is wonderful! Our last game of the term! Make me proud, baby!" Rose sighed happily as she skipped onto the pitch, grinning as the sun reflected over the crowd in the stands. The Huffie mounted her broom and took a lap around the pitch, waving to the crowd and trying to get them pumped. "If only I had something to throw to them.." Rose searched her pockets and found a box of Every Flavored Jelly Beans. She smiled, then tossed the box into the mob of Hufflepuffs. Then, Rose flew over to her teammates, waving.

"Hey guys! Mat, you look great, keep your form and try to impress the other team. Kate, your a badger. We eat snakes for breakfast. And Skie, we need to work together today better than we ever have before." Rose clentched her fist and held it out. "Badgers one three. One, two...THREE!! BADGERS!!!!"

She then looked over to see Shadow dlying around, but she did't have a bat. "I thought Shadow was a beater..." Rose reased her eyeborw, wondering if Slytherin was having some 'techncinal diffiuculties. That would be great of her team.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Rosie dear and Kate! Did you love my voodoo doll offering to the gods?" Skie sang out loudly as Rose and Kate arrived on the pitch. Smiling broadly as the team assembled herself, Skie laughed. "Well there are more Huffies here than Slytherins! That's a first!" Skie said, trying to sound observant, sane, and normal. In other words, Skie was pretending to be her alter ego. Silly Skie! So naive aren't you? Can't you see the light that glows from within when you're sane? Skie's conscience/ alter ego appeared from the back of her mind. If I were sane you wouldn't be here, Skie thought, banishing her sanity to the pits of normality in the deepest dredges of her head. "Ha! Beat that!" Skie muttered under her breath. Looking around suddenly, Skie wondered if she had said that out loud. "Um... OH LOOK! It's a muffin!" Hoping that no one would question her story Skie rushed over to the place where she had pointed and then looked back with her best sad face. "There's no muffin." Changing the subject rapidly, Skie said, "So what's the plan when they release the qauffle Rose?"

(COMMENTATOR)

Taking her now familiar spot in the commentator's box, Elana sighed quietly. It was the last game of the year, and her team wasn't playing. Instead of competing for the Cup, they had to sit in the stands and root for another team. Not saying that they hadn't played hard - it just somehow hadn't worked out for them this year. Before the players began arriving, she figured she should start. Clearing her throat and taking the mic into a hand, a bright smile grew on her face as Elana spoke.

"Welcome to the last game of the season - Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin!" She had to cover hear ears at the explosion of cheers that that simple statement caused. Chuckling softly, she retook the mic and continued, "Let's just get this out of the way. Who's here for the Badgers?" Yellow and black banners with favorite team members names on them waved, sparkly confetti and streamers momentarily filled the air, along with even more shouts. Grinning, she said, "And for the Snakes?" An equal amount of silver and green shone in the stands, hisses this time added to the yells. She saw a yellow-robed figure walk in to the pitch, and said, "The first player on the pitch is Matt, one of the Hufflepuff Beaters!" After Matt, the players kept on coming. "Next we have another Hufflepuff - Skie, Chaser Captain. After her we have our first Slytherin! Shadow, one of their Chasers. She's followed by two more Hufflepuffs. Kate, their Keeper, and Rose, the second Chaser Captain. Now, as you can see, the Slytherin is greatly outnumbered - where's the rest of the team?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose cocked her head as Skie set off the wierd bomb. Not like none of the team did that a lot. I mean, why had they started the straghit-jacket club in the first place? Rose glanced around the pitch again, still seeing only Shadow. She frowned. "Where are the other Slytherin's? I hope nothings wrong, having a position switch..."

Rose turned back towards her teammates, trying to concentrate on there part. "Ok. Skie, focus. This is a really important game. We need a plan and we need one now. The Quaffles will be released any minute now, and so far we have some seriously easy scores."

[Slytherin Seeker and Captain]

Cat had been having issues waking up in the past week, which she knew was not in any way helpful, especially when she had a match coming up. This led to a drastic decision of a wake up call on the day of the last match. The night before she had set a spell to go off at the exact time she felt would be good to wake up and get ready. And it worked. At the exact time she set, a bucket of ice cold water poured onto her head. She bolted up with a shriek and ran from her bed to escape the now wet bed. She shivered and cursed herself for thinking of such a wake up call. Fighting tears in result of the ice cold water she was now drenched in, she performed heating and drying charms. Once she was better, she preformed the latter charm on her bed and then did a music spell with her wand that as long as she held up her wand, would play a song, and right now it was playing Up the Cuts by Against Me!.

She went on to her friend Gemma’s bed and pushed her out as Cat giggled to herself and bobbed her head to the music. She then went to Kaylee’s and saw her friend missing. She glared at the bed before turning off the music charm and levitating the bed. As she expected her friend was sleeping under it, obviously trying to escape a wake up similar to Gemma’s. Cat then yelled, “WAKE UP YOU LAZY SOD AND GET READY FOR QUIDDITCH!!!” She then let go of the levitating charm gently and walked over to her dresser.

She took the coffee holder full of water next to the newspaper on her dresser and used her wand to heat it and change it to Irish Breakfast tea. She smiled as she took a sip and tasted the yummy flavor of her favorite morning tea. She then checked the Daily Prophet and saw that today was going to be a bright and sunny day with a nice breeze. She smiled to herself and went on to grabbing her quidditch robes with anti-wrinkle charms. Most people would tell her to just hang her robes, but she hated hanging and felt the charms were better.

Once she was ready she headed out and knocked on every dorm door of her female team mates and yelled for them to get up, which it seemed Shadow was the only one who had already. She sent a third year boy to go make sure Rai was up and rolled her eyes when his eyes widened at the thought of waking him. Really people needed to learn Raistlin wasn’t as big and bad as he acted.

She eventually reached the locker room, where she proceeded to grab her gear out of. She had recently been keeping her gear in her room, but after her last practice out on the field she had ended up leaving them in her locker. Once that was done she closed her locker and went out to the pitch for the last game of the term. She heard the noise of the stands, cheering on the teams and the sound of Elena commenting the game.

When she heard the girl ask where the Slytherins were, Cat hopped on her broom and flew up into the air. She waved to the commenter and shouted, “Here one be!” She then chuckled and flew into position and waited for the snitch’s release and also the five other teammates of hers.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate shouted a hello to Rose as she arrived on the pitch. Then, turning to Skie she said, "Looks like the voodoo is working, so far there is only 1, sorry 2 snakes and 4 of us badgers!" Chortling to herself, Kate flew off in the direction of hoops and back.

"So, when does this thing start?" She asked.

Kate sat back on her broom and started humming Rudolf the red nosed reindeer. God, what am, I thinking! She thought, There is still ages before Christmas!

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Yes ma'am sir ma'am!" Skie said to Rose with a sharp mock salute and a silly grin on her face. "What orders do you have for me ma'am sir ma'am?" Trying to keep a straight face, but failing miserably, Skie looked straight ahead and attempted to fight the smile that was pulling at the corners of her lips. "OKAY! Fine! I can't keep a straight face. Are you happy now?" Skie said, glaring at Rose, who hadn't said anything but was nonetheless the butt of the blame. "Sorry Rose," Skie said, just a pouting just a little after her slight slip in decorum.

"I'll concentrate on the game now, I promise!" Skie said with her best puppy dog face, complete with the trembling lower lip and widening eyes. "Right. So the qauffle should be released any minute now... and it seems that we're only up against one Slytherin chaser... But, we still shouldn't underestimate anyone because that would suck if we lost and then I'd have to go drown myself in the shower." Skie's speech consisted of one breath and some very fast and furious speed talking that left her feeling like she had the wind knocked out of her.

"Oh, and as far moves go. I'm really feeling the Huffie Waltz at the moment," Skie said with a giggle. "The Huffie Waltz is of course, a scoring move, but what you do is you go up and down the pitch passing the qauffle in a kind of circular motion, like dancing. And then, as you approach the hoops, on of the chasers takes the qauffle and the other one falls back and the first chaser, who has the qauffle pretends to score right in front of the keeper and then throws the qauffle to the second chaser who is where the keeper isn't and then the second chaser scores, because there can't be two keepers!" Skie took a deep breath and then continued. "That probably made no sense so um... How does it sound?" Skie asked, her voice quiet so that no one but Rose could hear her.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose frowned at Skie's childlish behavior and crossed her arms. The smile crept up her friends face, until she burst out laughing. "Focus! This game means the world to use! Well, I mean, if we lose, where not going to drowned ourself in the shower (she glared at Skie), but it would be kind of sad..."

Rose noticed that the Slytherin Captain and Seeker had arrived. Well, thats good, Rose thought. More competition, I hate uneven games. Rose herd Skie talking about a new move, and turned her attention back to the fellow Chaser. She listened carefully as Skie explained, interested and curious. "Hmmmmm, yes. I see....it sounds wonderful Skie! Lets give it a try! We have to make sure we get the Quaffle first though, so lets take our positions."

Rigby stepped onto the pitch, carrying the box that contained the game balls. She could be up in her dorm room watching re-runs of Michael Phelps and his yummy teammates swimming in the Olympics, but she was a dutiful judge and sub ref. Plus it was the last game of the season, which was a little sad.

Rigby opened the box with one hand, the other hand on her whistle (are there ever enough oppurtunities to blow a whistle?). With quick and efficient movements she released the balls, watching the golden snitch disappear into the clouds as she blew the whistle, signaling the start of the game.

"Let the game begin!" she shouted.

(Hufflepufff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"YES!" Skie cried triumphantly as the qauffle was released into play. "MINE! And Rose's of course," Skie yelled diving for the qauffle like a bullet. Clutching the scarlett ball in her arms, Skie looked fondly at the wooden frame and polished leather that held together a wonderfully enchanted object. "Let's create some mayhem!" Skie said happily, a smile splitting across her face. Throwing the qauffle up into the air a few times as a test, Skie grinned evilly at Rose and nodded. "Catch!" Skie whispered as she threw the ball up into the air and spiked it at Rose.

"C'mon Rose!" Skie said under her breath as the qauffle went zooming towards her friend. Taking her position, Skie readied herself for Rose continue the move. "On with the Huffie Waltz!" Skie murmured quietly to herself.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose smiled as Rigby came onto the pitch, releasing the Quaffle, Snitch, and Bludgers. Skie dived like a hawk for the red-scarlett ball and Rose zommed after her. Together they made the circling motion, starting there first try at the new move, the Huffie Waltz. Skie yelled to her, and Rose saw the Quaffle flying towards her. She watched to see where exactly it was going, then calcutlated where she needed to be to catch it. Her hand streached out and the ball rolled into her arms perfictly. "Yes!" Rose leaned down on her broom, hugging the Quaffle, and headed straghit towards the Slytherin goal posts.

A few yards later, Rose whistled to to Skie. "Heads up! Quaffle to Skie! SKie, come in, Quaffle heading your way!" Rose pulled back and tossed the ball over to her fellow Chaser.

((Hufflepuff Beater))

Matthew watched the guys from his team, he only hovered afraid to use up the little energy that he had left. He needed to save it for a more important stage in the game. Time past and Matthew wondered what was happening with the match, it seemed to be running a little late, or maybe he was just early. Either way he was glad that their team was in the lead when it came to total of people, but then again Huffepuff had won when they were down in numbers before. But he wasn't about to think about that.

Matthew was glad when he saw Rigby come out of the box containing the balls. The match could finally get going now. He was sick and tired of waiting, he wished he could have learnt to sleep whilst on the broom. Would have been a good time passer. Matthew watched as Rigby opened the crate with one hand and blew the whistle, the game had begun. Now we're talkin'! he muttered taking off towards center pitch were one of the bludgers had zoomed. He didn't really see anybody to hit it towards, but he figured that he could just hit the bludger towards the slytherin captain because she was a slytherin member. Was that allowed, he'd done it before in other matches and gotten away with it , so why not now?

Matthew flew into the center of the pitch, the bludger headed right for him. Something tickled inside his stomach and he dropped the bat in panic, this wasn't good. Matthew watched his discolored bat fly to the ground and smash into little wooden splinters. He realized that his panicking had got him here, now he needed to use his brilliant quick think skills to fix it.

Not enough time for that, one plus not bat and no chaser to help. Matthew thought mentally striking that one out.

No bat no other beater, he stroked that one off too.

No bat. Matthew thought starting to doubt his knowledge for quidditch moves.
~~BLUDGER DOUBLE WHAMMY~~
No bat, he thought again, really starting to wish he hadn't dropped his bat.
Bludger Stand
"Yes! I can do that one!" Matthew yelled his quick thinking wasn't so quick after all, the bludger was inches away from him. Matthew gripped the front of his broom and put all his force onto his making his legs lift up into the sky. Matthew closed his eyes hoping the bludger had went through the gap between his two arms. He looked up, the bludger was gone, it seemed to have worked!
"Urika!" Matthew yelled in triumph sitting back down on his broom again, "Bloody fantastic!" Matthew flew on around the pitch waiting for an opening.

(Slytherin Beater)

Raistlin reached he field just in time to watch the release of the balls. As soon as it happened Raistlin waved his wand around him and his Quidditch robes appeared perfectly ajusted to his body. Only one thing left in his hand

"Accio bat!"

One minute later he heard the whistle of his beloved bat speeding like crazy to reach its owner.

"There you are my friend. Too long you've been kept inactive it's time you taste blood again."

And with that Raistlin grabbed his bat and went chasing for a bludger. The game was sure to get fierce now.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"ROSE! YOU ROCK!" Skie screamed as she snatched the qauffle out of the air after Rose's throw. Keeping up with the fast pace, Skie sped up clutching the qauffle steadily with one hand. After about two more throws, they'd be ready for the final part of the Huffie Waltz, the keeper confusion. "Ready... set..." Skie balanced the qauffle in her arms and prepared to fire. "GO!" The qauffle soared out of Skie's arms and straight towards Rose! "Woo- hoo!" Skie yelled as the qauffle left her hands and started towards Rose's. "In a few passes we'll be there!" Skie said, knowing that Rose would hear her.

Flying up to the next point with her body pressed to the broom like peanut butter on bread, Skie felt the air rushing past and her and grinned. "This is my type of quidditch game." She cried out as she brought herself to a stop and waited for Rose to continue the move.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose glanced back behind her. "Oh no, Rai's on the pitch. Skie watch your back. REALLY watch your back." Rose herd Skie shout and the Quaffle came back towards her. Rose pushed forward on her broom, reaching for the ball. She grabbed it, almost flipping over on her broom. "Whoops!" She uelled embarrassed. "Alomst missed that one, better pay more attention."

Rose and SKie where colser to the hoops now. The Huffies had this goal hook line and sinker. "Skie! QUAFFLE!" Rose threw the ball towards the Huffie.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Nice Rose!" Skie said, with just a little sarcasm marring her excited tone. She had known that there was no way Rose would have missed the shot, even if she fumbled a little. After all, this was ROSE they were talking about. Reaching out her arms to grab the qauffle, Skie approached the goals, staring straight into the hoop. "No keeper yet, nice!" Skie muttered under her breath. "ALRIGHT ROSE! It's time for the final piece of the Huffie Waltz," Skie said loudly. Arching her arm as if she was going to score, Skie did a perfect backwards shot right towards Rose's arms. "YEAH!" Skie screamed, her voice practically at a fever pitch. Falling back, Skie yelled, "GO SCORE ROSIE," at the top of her lungs with her throat beginning to feel just a little raw. "C'MON!" Waving at the Hufflepuffs in the crowd to join in, Skie waited to see what Rose would do as the qauffle soared towards her and waited for her to use it to score.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose smiled as the Quaffle came soaring towards her. She pulled back, and glanced around. Smiling, she decided to show off a tad. Eyes locked on the scarlett ball, Rose gripped tightly on her broom and waited till the Quaffle was about 2 yards a way. She took in a deep breath, calculating some more in her head, then flipped backwards, hitting the ball with a loud BAM and sent it soaring towards the left goal. It was a perfict hit. Even if there was a Keepere there, Rose wasn't sure they would be able to stop it at the speed it was going.

Crossing her fingers, Rose waited for the ding.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"ALL RIGHT ROSE!" Skie screamed as the quaffle left Rose's fingers and began it's trek towards the goal. Nothing to do now but wait, pray, and keep her fingers crossed for the score. "Oh mighty quidditch gods, please bestow upon us your blessings and let this quaffle score," Skie murmured with her eyes turned up towards the sky. Murmuring random praises of the quidditch gods wonderfulness, Skie kept her eyes fixed on the prize, the qauffle going into the goal. "I know you can do it little fella," Skie whispered to the qauffle.

[Slytherin Chaser and Co-Captain]

Slightly uncomfortable from sleeping on the floor Kay rolled over and maneuvered herself around beneath her bed. She’d slept there to avoid both Cat and Gemma and their crazy wake ups. In fact the bruises from the last time Cat had woken her up still hadn’t faded all the way, and she wasn’t looking to catch any more. So knowing there was a quidditch match in the morning she found the best place still within their room that she could find to sleep.

Groggily she opened her eyes when she started to hear music blaring and the sound of footsteps around the room. Obviously her wifey and captain had woken up and was starting to get ready. Fighting the giggles that were trying to make their way from her chest she covered her mouth and waited. When she heard the thump of their hubby hitting the floor she couldn’t help the small giggle that escaped, obviously her plan to hide had been a pretty good one, especially seeing that Gemma got the exact wake up that she was trying to avoid.

When the bed started to move Kay quickly threw the blanket up and over her head as to not let Cat see that she was already awake. Then as if on cue she heard Cat loudly yell, ” WAKE UP YOU LAZY SOD AND GET READY FOR QUIDDITCH!!!” She wasn’t really sure if Cat saw it before she let the bed slowly fall back down but instinctively her hand flew out from beneath the blankets and offered her friend, wifey and roommate a not so nice gesture. Once the bed was back down and she was once again shielded in darkness she was half tempted to curl back up into a comfortable position and going back to sleep. But when she heard the door slam, signaling that Cat had started to make her way out she knew she should really just get up.

Sliding out from beneath the bed she stayed on the floor and stretched there for a moment before jumping up in one swift motion, landing on both feet. The obvious reason why she’d made the quiddtich team to begin with was because of her coordination, one of the few things she didn’t have a problem with. Of course she did lack in a few other areas, mostly in timeliness and common sense, but those were two easily fixable things. Letting out a sigh she couldn’t help but be both sad and relieved that it was the last match of the season.

It had been a long season, full of lots of fun times, and also some not so fun times. Thinking about it all she couldn’t help but grimace at the memory of the Gryffindor player taking a spill off her broom, or that one Hufflepuff with the freaky fainting spells. Thinking over the term and all of the good times as well as she pulled her hair into her typical pigtails on either side of her head, she couldn’t help but smile slightly as she remembered everything.

Once her hair was up and in place she pulled out her wand and quickly casted a spell to keep her hair in place, and most of all out of her face. Kneeling down she yanked open the drawer on her dresser containing her lucky batman pajamas that would no doubt have to be retired after this match. “Only one pair per term, these will go down in the hall of fame of course.” She mumbled as she looked over them, and took in all the alterations she’d made over the season. First adding more pockets for candy, and then adding her famous cape, all in all she had to admit these were probably her favorite pair yet.

Pulling them on, she decided that since this was the last match and all she should go all out, so she pulled out the baseball cap she’d worn one game, and then strapped her trusty goggles around the top just above the brim. Sticking her feet into her chunky combat boots, which she never ever bothered to tie, she marched over to her night stand and filled her pockets to the brim with candy, for what felt like, the last match she’d play for a while. As soon as all of her pockets were filled to the brim and zipped up to keep the contents safe she reached in for one final handful. Ripping open a few pixie sticks she smiled and then poured them down her throat.

Looking behind her she couldn’t miss the fact that her hubby, roommate and Nut, Gemma was still on the floor and looking like she was still asleep. Making her way effortlessly across the room she stopped with a handful of candy in one hand, once she was hovering over her. Kneeling down she tried to inspect if her friend was awake or not; and from the looks of it she wasn’t. With a smile Kay gently pried open Gemmas mouth and then ripped open a few pixie sticks and started to pour them into her now open mouth. “Wakie wakie, it’s time for eggs and bakie. Well actually it’s time for sugar and candy, but that doesn’t rhyme. ”

Not really waiting to see if her friend would wake up she jumped back up easily onto two feet and gave one more quick glance around the room before running out. Running down the hall of dorms she started to bang on every door as she went by with her fist, after all it was the final game of the season and everyone should come out to support the house. Moving swiftly she ran through the common room and then out into the hallway. Cape flying in the air behind her as she ran she didn’t let up on her pace until she finally reached the great hall.

Jumping up onto the table she grabbed a goblet filled to the rim with pumpkin juice and a piece of toast off the table before standing up on the table. “This is a toast to the final Slytherin match of the season. Good luck to everyone!!” Gulping down the entirety of the glass in two swift gulps she jumped down off the table and shoved the piece of toast in her mouth as she started once again on her run to the pitch.

In no time she’d finished and swallowed her toast and was in the locker room quickly pulling on all of her pads and gear. Pulling out Gadget she did the usual routine of a kiss and a whispered encouragement before running full force out onto the pitch. Until she was out on the pitch she hadn’t noticed how sunny it was out that day. Shrugging she quickly stuck Gadget between her legs and pulled the goggles off around the brim of her hat and pulled them down and over her eyes. “Much better..” She muttered under her breath.

Giving a quick glance around the pitch she noticed all of the yellow in the air and couldn’t help but to grimace. Shrugging once she yelled, “HIGH HO SILVER AWAY!” Before she kicked off hard into the air. Once she was up and in position she couldn’t miss the fact that the balls had already been released and that the huffies were in possession of her baby. She’d found that if she referred to it as her child it made it much easier for her to be aggressive to anyone in possession of it or trying to take it away from her.

Letting a growl escape her lips she watched for a moment and waited for the perfect opportunity to steal it away from those silly badgers. Watching the spectacle the created she couldn’t help the annoyance that sprung up inside her, at least EVEN they as the jerks they were had the decency to wait for a keeper before attempting to score. Plus what fun was it when you didn’t have any opposition? Shaking her head back and forth she couldn’t help the sudden smile that crept upon her features as the most evil plan she’d ever had to date popped into her mind.

Watching them she waited for a moment for them to throw it, as she knew they would and she had snuck onto the pitch, little to their knowledge. Watching on the side, as the two of them passed it back and forth she couldn’t help the evil smile that continued to grace her features. And then she saw it, the moment had come they’d thrown the quaffle, he baby, that beautiful red ball of life, towards the empty posts. “BIG MISTAKE!!” She growled out as she quickly swooped down and snatched up the quaffle while in mid air.

With a cold smile still plastered on her features she looked over at the two huffie chasers, “You didn’t really think it would be that easy now did you? Or did you forget who you were playing?” It generally wasn’t in her nature to be mean or callus, but in that moment her true Slytherin side couldn’t help but come out. Moving quickly she found the only other Slytherin chaser on the pitch at the moment, Shadow and quickly flew over to hover next to her with the quaffle in hand. “Nice to see your back playing chaser, so got any ideas for my precious here?”

The last part of her statement she spoke in a funny voice mimicking a muggle movie she’d seen once. Looking around she started to bounce around slightly waiting, no hoping that her wifey would show up soon so that they as three chasers could pull off some awesome move. After all it was only right to leave them with a bang for the last match of the season.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose frowned and her mouth fell open. "Where the flying turtles did Kaylee come from? Ughhhh! That goal was ours!" Rose turned her broom around on a dime, glaring at the Slytherin Chaser.

Sighing Rose sighnaled for Skie. "What on Earth are we going to do now. We need a plan." Rose waved at Matthew, hoping he could see her. "HIT HER WITH A BLUDGER", she mouthed. They abasultly could not let Slytherin win another game.

Rose rushed threw her head for ideas. What moves could be used? How could they get the Quaffle back? This was not a good position to be in, but Rose could not let anything get to her head. She had to stay focused.

"PLEASE tell me you have an idea Skie!"

(Hufflepuff Keeper)
"NO!" Kate called as the quaffle was gained by the snakes. Rose and Skie had been doing the Huffle Waltz when suddenly, the Sly, SLytherin Chaser had stolen the Quaffle.

Poo. Kate thought. Anyway, on with the game!

"LETS GO BADGERS!" She called to the crowd feet below her.

Let the games begin. Kate thought.

"WHATS THE PLAN?" She called to her fellow teammates.

[[Hufflepuff Beater]]

Matthew watched the game go on. He was still circling the pitch, waiting for an opening. He clicked his tongue every now and then, but completely forgot about that when Rose through the quaffle towards the Slytherin goals. Matthew closed his eyes and crossed his fingers, waiting for the ding of the goalposts. But nothing came. Seconds past and then he opened his eyes. It seemed Kay had taken off with the quaffle, stupid silly silly girl, she shouldn't have done that. Matthew turned to look at Rose, he thought she would be cut up, but she was telling him to do exactly what he was going to do. Hit her with a bludger. Matthew looked down at the ground and found the splinters of his bat,
"Reparo! Wingardium Leviosa!" Matthew said hoping that it would work from that high up, thankfully it did. Matthew's beaters bat flew into his hands, "Hello my darling.." he cooed to it.

Matthew set off after Kay. He was almost on her tail, if he was any closer he would be on top of her. He hoped she didn't realize the element of surprise would work on his favour. Matthew saw a bludger zooming north and Matthew and Kay were flying towards the Hufflepuff goals which was in the south. Great! Matthew zoomed off and stationed himself right in the bludgers way, this was hopefully going to work. The bludger flew towards him and Matthew thought of a move he could use to make the hitting more effective.
Beater double whammy.
Matthew spun around three times, gathering speed and becoming a little dizzy. Then when the time was right Matthew hit the bludger just a little in front of Kay, he knew that it would attack her from the side. Good job too.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

"Wonderful.." Rose hissed, angery that the Quaffle had been taken from sush a good job of teammwork. "I still don't see how we didn't get that....where did Kaylee even come from? Ugh, I'm in such shock and denial....must concentrate....."

Rose shook her head and glanced around. She saw that Mat had gotten her msg, and was sneakily sending a Bludger towards the unaware Slytherin. "Ok, this is good." Rose tapped Skie on the shoulder. "Lets get by Kaylee. If she's hit and drops the Quaffle..."

Rose headed towards the Chaser, hoping she would not see the nasty ball coming her way and be knocked out quickly.

((Slytherin Chaser.))

Shadow cursed herself as she finally pulled out of her mind, and looked around.
"Hey Kay." Shadow said with a smile. "Er, scoring a good idea to you?" She said, looking at her fellow chaser, and her smile slid off her face as she saw a bludger heading straight for them, with Huffie Beater Matthew on the other end. Shadow grabbed her friend's robes and dragged them down, watching the bludger fly over them. She let out the breath she had been holding.
"Next time, I'd rather have a bat to do a Rebound." She growled, a scowl on her face. "Now, let's get out there and kick some badger butt!" She said with a grin.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

Skie watched in utter amazement as the newly arrived Slytherin chaser snatched the qauffle away from the goalposts, almost as if she were playing keeper, and whisked the dear thing away in a vicious attempt to score on the Huffie team. Muttering profanities under her breath in a tone that could only be described as bloodthirsty and murderous, a red film spread of Skie's eyes and took possession of her mind. Qauffle... stolen. Kill... thieves... Skie's thoughts were a blurry of bloody wonderful scenes of the field in destruction and the qauffle nice and safe in her arms. "MINE!" Screaming as her swirling thoughts reached an apex, Skie suddenly realized that Rose had been trying to talk to her... of course to no avail. Right... so now what do I do because I just made a total idiot out of myself by screaming like freaking LUNATIC in the middle of a conversation Giving herself a mental black eye, Skie smiled politely at Rose and said, "I'm so sorry, I must have... Ah... Lost my mind for a moment." Skie felt her face burning as she turned on the light switch inside her brain as she struggled to place herself back in the conversation.

"Right. So, your twinliness, um... Right! Okay, I get it!" Skie suddenly exclaimed as the conversation came back to her. "So, Kaylee stole the qauffle and now there's a... Oh." Skie smiled a wicked grin, her teeth flashing in the sun like fangs. "I love Matthew," Skie said fondly as she looked at the beater who had just sent a bludger racing towards Kaylee. "If this hits her, it will be the happiest day of my life." A look of pure exalted bliss overtaking her features, Skie slipped back into the dreamy state that was her normal mind frame until she remembered what was going in. GEEZ! You zoned out twice in like 5 minutes. Is this a personal best or something? Scolding herself relentlessly, Skie gave another simpering grin at Rose in her best 'So sorry' face. "I'm gonna ah... Go under Kaylee so I can uh... grab the qauffle when she falls and is knocked unconscious- I mean um... falls into the magical floating stretcher and is out for the rest of the game. Bye!" Waving hastily at Rose, Skie rushed off and positioned herself a few meters below Kaylee and readied herself for a falling qauffle.

"Give me back my qauffle." Skie muttered darkly to herself as she waited for the bludger to hit. "Hit her, hit her, hit her, hit her. Oh shut up you darn conscience, you know I don't want her to die or anything!" Skie said crossly to her hugely overactive morality. "No, I don't want her to die. I just want her to fall so I can get the qauffle." Skie continued her conversation with her head in a whisper, just in case anyone was listening. Hunched over on her broom, Skie addressed her conscience again. "Yes, she can fall and not die. I don't want anyone to die. I JUST WANT THAT QUAFFLE DARN YOU!" Skie's voice was still a whisper, albeit a very angry whisper, but a whisper nonetheless. "You know what? Yeah I'm using that tone with you. What are you my mom? I'm done. Just be quiet and go pick up trash in a park or something. Stupid conscience. You can't tell me what to do!" Skie glared forward, keeping her eyes averted from anyone who might or might not be staring at her.

"Huh... Now all there is to do is to wait for a quaffle to fall from the sky and into my arms," Skie murmured happily as she began to hum and partly sing the song that had been stuck in her head since the early hours of the morning, Poppin' Champagne by no other than All Time Low. "We're just aiming to please. And aesthetics don't hurt one bit," Skie sang softly to herself to pass the time as she bounced up and down on her broom to the happy and way too addicting tune. "Why don't you say so? Why don't you say so?" Skie uttered as the ending lyrics, in an infinitely better mood than she had been before. Such was the magic of music that it could take the darkest mood and turn it to pure hyper joy.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose made a lot of hand gestures as she talked to her 'twin', Skie, not realizing the girl was lost in her own mind. Suddenly, she shout out loud, making Rose jump and nearly fall off her broom. "Good gravy, Skie! Don't kill me!" Skie was apologizing before she took off again, after realizing that Matthew had sent a bludger soaring towards Kaylee. "Honestly, what am I gonna to with that girl?" Rose smiled to herself and fallowed her.

The panic in Rose's mind began to sink a little bit, and she thought that now, while Skie was.....talking to herself? Yeah........she would try to scare the bejesus out of her. It's not like she didn't do it to Rose all the time. And she really meant, ALL THE TIME. A evil grin swept over Rose's face and she crouched down on Alma and slowly pushed forward, forgetting that there was a game going on. The poor Captain only wanted her revenge. She crept closer and closer to Skie, who was now singing a song. A bug flew into Rose's nose, and she stopped suddenly, trying not to sneeze. Oh no, she thought. Don't sneeze, don't sneeze, don't sneeze! She made a face, trying to keep it in, even though the thought of a tiny insect in her nose made her shiver in disgust.

"Ahhhhh, ahhhhhhhh.......AHCHOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

Rose flipped over as she sneezed, the bug and much snot went flying out her nose. Luckily, she had gripped the broom tighter as she sneezed, and she merely swung her leg up and came butt-first back onto her broom. "Awww man! I so had Skie with that one....stupid bug...." Rose pouted, before gasping as the Snitch flew past her. Ohhhhhh shoot. If Cat found it..... Rose's eyes didn't fallow the shiny gold ball s it flickered over near the Slytherin stands. It would be okay if she acted normal. The Slytherin wouldn't see her distress. So Rose looked back over to where Shadow and Kaylee where. Wait.....THEY DODGED THE BLUDGER!?!?! Rose 's mouth fell open. "OHMYWHISPERINGDRAGON'S THEY DODGED THE BLUDGER!!!!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Where is that falling qauffle," Skie muttered to herself as she sat on her broom waiting for the qauffle to land in her arms. Bored to tears, Skie was suddenly reawakened to reality when Rose sneezed behind her. Turning back to glare at her, Skie was about to open her mouth when Rose said something about dragons and dodging bludgers. Tilting her head up, Skie saw the bludger hadn't even grazed either one of the chasers. "DARN YOU NOT MAIMED PEOPLE!" Skie raged, her insides withering as she realized that getting her qauffle back would be no easy task.

"Rosie, I think we're going to have to steal the qauffle." Skie said seriously. "I'm beginning to miss him quite a lot, you know." Sighing, Skie waited for Rose to speak and either crush or confirm her idea, in which case, Rose would probably have a better plan.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose shook in anger. This was SO wrong. So wrong on so many levels. The Huffies would have this game if it killed every single one of them. Rose pulled her broom up beside Skie, who seemed just as angry as her. Rose looked at her hopefully.

"Yes, I agree. We are going to steal our baby back, and where gonna do it now." Rose's eyes burned with a fire as she stared at the quaffle. Must....get...must....get....That was all that was going threw her head. Like a dog after his ball....or stick....of whatever....

"So, what be the plan, my loverly assistant? Hard core blow from the top? A sneak from underneath? Sandwich her between our beloved brooms?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Sandwiching is probably illegal, but I say a quick scoop from the bottom up would be sufficient in regaining the little qauffle waffle." Skie smiled, glad that she and Rose were on the same page. "Huh. Well, we're right below them right now so I say that we just fly upwards, punch the qauffle out of Kaylee's arms and make a made dash for the goalpost. I've never been one for planning," Skie said with a slight giggle. "And besides, mad dashes are fun!" Kicking her broom in high gear as she aimed straight for the sun, or at least the two chasers in front of the sun, Skie flew up and prepared herself to slap the qauffle away from Kaylee. As she approached, mere feet below the other chaser, Skie pulled her arm and punched the qauffle cleanly out of the other chaser's arms and into her own. Spinning away, Skie grabbed the front of her broom for balance, but as she struggled to regain her center of gravity, the qauffle slipped to the end of her fingers and out of her hands. "NO!" Skie screamed at the top of her lungs as she watched the qauffle drop in slow motion. Lunging down, Skie quickly did the Badger Dive, a move where one held onto the broom with one's legs and then grabbed the falling qauffle and pulled back onto the broom.

As Skie completed the move and she righted herself on her broom, she let out a huge sigh of relief and flew back over to Rose. "Ohmygoodness, I almost lost the qauffle!" Skie said breathlessly as she pulled up next to Rose. "Thank the quidditch gods that I caught it." Offering a silent prayer to the quidditch lords, Skie resumed talking to Rose. "Okay, so now we have the qauffle. What do you want to do with it?" Skie asked. "I mean, besides score of course."

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose pulled her finger to her mouth. "Shhhhhh! If we where SNEAKY bout it know one would know we cheated." Rose let sly grin slid up her face. She saw Skie's reaction, and quickly frowned. "Only joking. Geeesh! Have a little fun out here."

She nodded as Skie explained that she would take the Quaffle by force from underneath, punching the ball right uot from under Kaylee. Rose smiled to herself as she thought about what the Slytherin's reaction would look like. That would be absolutely priceless.

Skie was already off, taking her aim from underneath. Rose waited patently as her teammate punched the Quaffle right out of the snakes arms and into her own. Or not. Skie, freaking, did the Badger Dive and re-caught the red ball. As she flew back over to Rose, they turned and headed to the Slytherin goal posts as quickly as possible. Skie asked what she Rose wanted to do with it. "Heck, I don't care, I say you just grip that baby tight and go get us some points as fast as you can before Kaylee and Shadow slit our throats." Rose slowed her broom a bit as her mind trailed off and scenes from Sweeney Todd replayed in her head over and over. She shivered. "Hurry Skie!"

(Slytherin Beater)

Bella ran onto the feild, late... again. Sighing she qyuckly ran into the change rooms and pulled on her quidditch gear. Bella grabbed her bat, and broomstck and darted onto the feild before kicking off hard from the ground. Bella seemed to have left all her stress behind on the ground and visibly relaxed as she felt the familiar wind in her hair.

Bella noticed there were a few players on the feild and quickly spotted Cat, the team captain. ''Sorry!!! Better late than never though, eh???'' Bella all but screamed to her, deciding that now was most probably not the best time to go into details of her extreeme lateness. Smiling slightly, Bella figured she might as well make herself useful and seek out a bludger or two... maybe if she permanently damaged the Hufflepuffs her team mates might forgive her... Bella considered this possibility with a wicked smile, now she at least had a goal for this game.

Bella flew a few laps around the pitch, her eyes scanning the skies for the black balls. She quickly spotted a bludger and was all set to smash it into one of the Huffies before realising she didnt know who had the quaffle. 'That would help things!' Bella thought to her self. Bella paused to see who had the loverly red ball, and paid for her lapse in concentration. She had flown directly into the bludger.

Bella cursed and rubbed her head. She could feel her eyes watering in a mixture of pain, anger and embaresment. She glanced back at the chasers, hoping no one saw that. Muttering to herself, Bella spotted that one of the Hufflepuff chasers, whose name Bella vaguely remembered as Ski...Sky... Skie..., somthing like that... anyway, she had the quaffle. Bella smashed the bludger, which was luckily still in range towards the girl. Hopefully it would hit her before she scored...

(hufflepuff beater)

Matthew watched as Bella the Slytherin keeper flew onto the pitch, late, shame on her! he laughed as she was hit in the face by a bludger, he expected her to have like a broken nose or something but she didn't, she just looked embarrassed. He knew what she was going to do now, she turned around and hit the bludger towards Skie, Matthew muttered to himself in anger. How could someone do that to his lovely dovey Skie?

Matthew zoomed off, his beaters bat firmly in his hand. A smile crossed his face as he got closer to the bludger. But as he got close to it, it got closer to Skie as well. Matthew made his broom go as fast as he could accelerating wildly. Matthew eyes watered, he was still chuckling to himself about bellas blow to the head.

Suddenly Matthew was infront of the bludger, it was flying towards him. Matthew lifted his bat and slammed it into the bludger sending it away towards Cat the chaser again. He didn't like her now, mainly because Shadow had saved her.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate watched as another slytherin walked onto the pitch. Great, a beater. She thought. Beaters had alot more power than keepers - or any other player for that matter (minus the seeker).

As she watched, Kate saw the beater fly straight into a bludger and laughed. Serves her right. Kate thought.

A few seconds later the very same bludger was heading straight for rose and skie. However, before Kate could even shout a warning, Matthew had shot it away in the direction of Cat the chaser.

Phew! she thought. Please hit Cat. Please! Kate prayed.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Thankee Matthew!" Skie said, sending waves of good karma and happiness in Matt's direction. "Rosie! Are you ready to attack, maul, and kill- I mean be nice, sweet and good sports while scoring on the Slytherin's?" Skie asked smiling ear to ear. "We are so in possession!" Clutching the qauffle, Skie thought carefully about what to do with the dear scarlett ball. "I think we should try um... no fancy stuff I guess. But something simple, like the Badger Hammock. Actually, the Badger Hammock sounds really really great right now... I'm ready when you are." Skie spread her arms with the qauffle cradled in between her arms. Balancing the scarlet ball carefully, Skie waited for Rose to grab her hands and continue the move. "Ready Rose?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

"EEEP! Skie, DUCK!" Rose saw the bludger heading right for her teammate. But luckily, Matthew came up from know where and sent the nastily ball in the other direction. Actually, towards Cat. "Oh, that won't make her happy..." Rose gave Mat the air high-five. And Kate seemed to be holding her position well. "So now there's a Slytherin Beater..." Rose sighed and fallowed behind Skie.

"Alright girl, you wanna do the Badger Hammock? Bring it! This will really make the judges happy!" Rose grabbed Skie's arms, twisting them around her fellow chasers to get a good grip. "Ready?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Let's hit 'em rally good Rose!" Skie said as she began the countdown for the release. Holding Rose's hands tightly, Skie began the first swing in front of the Slythering goalpost, praying that no slip ups would occur. "Three..." Skie's heart began to race an her palms began to get hot and sweaty. "Two..." The old heart was probably going to go into shock if it kept on beating at the rate it was going. "One..." Skie felt her stomach drop to the ground as the final swing began it's descent and then release. "GO!" As the qauffle was released from the hammock, Skie watched in rapt attention as it slowly arched, and then had to look away for fear that it wouldn't go in. "Nothing to do now but wait," Skie murmured to Rose as she averted her eyes from the goal. "I just can't bear to look." Practically shaking, even though the day was warm, Skie waited with a heavy heart and anxious mind for a ding.

"OhGod, I can't wait any longer! The suspense is utterly killing me!" Skie practically screamed as the antsiness began to get to her and she could no longer sit still. Leaning back on her broom and twiddling her thumbs, Skie thought of ways to pass the time until the qauffle was, score or no score, back in her arms. "Lalalalalala," Blocking out all coherent thoughts that could make her even more nervous, Skie wiped a bead of sweat that was trickling down into her eyes off of her forehead. "Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out." Skie murmured as her breath caught on it's way out and her lungs forgot to function. "You know, Rose, at this rate, if the qauffle doesn't go in soon you may have to replace me because I'll have a heart attack and die." Skie said, totally serious.

(Slytherin Beater)

Bella groan, glaring nastily at the evil Hufflepuffs. Not only had their beater saved the chaser, but it had been too much to hope that they hadnt noticed her ... accident. A few of them had laughed, which had done nothing to improve Bellas mood. Bella massaged her head slowly while thinking of a plan. Luckily she had slowed down do much in preperation to hit the bludger so she hadnt been going very fast when she had collided with it, otherwise she might've been seriously injured.

Bella looked over at Cat, waiting for her to move out of the bludgers path, but she seemed not to have noticed it. As Bella didnt really want to lose their seeker, she shot after the bludger. 'Stupid badgers... meant to be nice... die in hole...' Bella muttered darkly to herself as she flew towards Cat. Bella was faster than the bludger and was able to position herself between it and her captain. Bella raised her bat an hit it with all her strength towards Rose. As she squinted to see if her bludger was on-target, Bella noticed the Huffies had already attempted a shot. Bella cursed, knowing there was nothing she could do about it.

(Slytherin Keeper)

Violet woke up and looked at her clock. It only took a few minutes for her to noticed it was pass time for the game. “Shoot!” She yelled, jumping up to get her clothes on real quick. Not bothering to grab her shoes or socks, she ran out the door, grabbing her broom on the way. “I’M DEAD, SOOOO DEAD!” She yelled, running out of the common room.

She ran onto the field, gulping. “Oh God….I hope they haven’t scored.” She mumbled, running half way out there and jumping on her broom. She flew to her goal post, mad as ever. NO matter what, she wasn’t going to be kind to either of these Huffies.

Violet glared, watching them. She wondered how many goals they scored, while she wasn’t there. She made sure to keep her eyes on the captain, the one who would pull a fast one on her. “Not on my watch.” Violet hissed, putting her hands on the broom and watching her again, while glaring daggers.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose gasped as she and Skie tossed the Quaffle towards the goal. It was aimed dead in the middle, there was no possible way it could miss as long as the Slytherin Keeper didn't show soon. Unfortunately, Rose spoke to soon. Violet was on the pitch now, heading towards the goals. Rose let a hiss out from between her teeth. "Don't. Touch. That. Quaffle." Rose was furious that things weren't working out like she had hoped for this last game. Crossing her fingers and looking up at the skies, Rose closed her eyes and preyed to the Quidditch gods. "Oh please oh please oh please..."

Violet had gotten to the goals, but it didn't appear that she had spotted the Quaffle, now only feet away from going threw the hoop. Rose cocked her head confused. "Ah, Skie? Does she not see that we already threw our baby?"

Before Rose could say anything else, she was falling. She opened her eyes to see her broom above her, and the ground closing in below. She tried to remember what happened, seeing Skie yelling at her, a bludger soaring over her head.....had she been hit? Where had the evil little ball come from? Did Bella get her? Rose couldn't move, as if she was paralyzed. She didn't know where she had been hit, and she couldn't feel her body. She didn't even feel like she was falling. But Rose did know that if she didn't get control of her body back, she was gonna go SPLAT all over the pitch, and nobody wanted to see that.

(Slytherin Keeper)

Violet lokoed around and gasped. "NO!" She yelled, going for it. She raced towards it and felt tears in her eyes. Quickly, she grabbed towards it, but it slipped, hitting her in the face. She grabbed her nose and cursed out loud. "DAMMIT!" She yelled, holding her nose and felt the quaffle fall into her lap. She glared at Rose, throwing the quaffle to someone on the Slytherin team. She wanted so badly to hurt someone, but held her nose, feeling the blood pour from her nose.

"One two, I'm gonna kill you!" She yelled, singing to herself to keep her from hurting Rose as badly as she wanted to. Violet hoped Kay or someone caught it before the Huffies did. She glared again, breathing deeply. "Three four, wyou beeter lock the Huffie door." She hissed to herself.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Captain)

Rose fought to grab a hold of reality. Her body still felt nothing, but at least now she could move her head. And she saw the worst. Violet had noticed that the Quaffle was inches away from the goal. Rose blinked, and when she opened her eyes, she saw the Slytherin Keeper rubbing her nose with the Quaffle in her lap. Rose felt her heart sink. Nooooo......noooooo, please don't say she stopped it......please tell me we go it..... Rose twitched her finger, and tried to search her robe for her wand. SKIE! Rose tried to yell her teammates name, to tell her to save the Quaffle, to keep it from going into Slytherin arms, but she couldn't speak. Tears filled her eyes. She was about to die, but yet all she cared about was the game....

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

"ROSE!" Kate called. "ROSE!" Rose was falling with increasing speed towards the ground. Without another moments hesitation, Kate reached for her wand and cast the cushioning charm. Kate would not be able to catch her but instead, the charm would prevent her from going SPLAT on the ground.

"SOMEBODY HELP!" Kate called and in a matter of seconds Madam Pompfrey was running onto the pitch to see to the injured Rose.

Waiting to see if Rose was OK Kate looked back to the game. Kate saw saw that the quaffle had been saved. Great. Kate thought. Another downfall.
