6th House Quidditch: HUFFLEPUFF v SLYTHERIN: 15th - 19th

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess yawned and stretched as she wallked out onto teh quidditch pitch.She looked around at the empty pitch.. where were all the quidditch players? Her captain had told her 6am he would be here and here it is 7:33 and hes no where to be found.. mmm She had had a long night so she just got on her broom and doar up to the commentors stand and sat down in Ambers Seat and tried everything in her power not to fall asleep...

(Hufflepuff beater)

:Marie slowly walked on the pitch, knowing she would probably be one of the first in the team to get there and knowing it was no use to hurry up.

When she got on the pitch, she started stretching up and warming up She still felt slightly dizzy from time to time from her fall during the last match, though only when she moved very fast or something like that.

Sighing, she got on her broom and kicked the ground hard, flying up in circles while waiting for the others to arrive.:

::Amber went up to her seat and saw Jess sitting in it.:: "Jess you need to move," ::she said. When she moved, Amber sat down and looked around.::

"Hello and welcome to the 6th Quidditch Match of the season between Hufflepuff and Slytherin!! I'm amberg93 and I'll be your commenator." ::she said.:: "It looks like most everyone has turned up for this match! Well except for the people actually playing. Wait forget that, looks like Jess and Marie are here at least some people are on time."

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess Yawned and leaned her head on Ambers shoulder when she was told to move. She was too tired to hit a bludger at Marie.. there was no use anyways...

"where is everyone" she thought..

(commenator)

::Amber looked at Jess and sighed.::

"I take that back atleast Marie is ready to play," ::she said.:: "Ooh looks like the crowd is getting restless! Where is everyone and why aren't they here yet?" ::she listened and heared cheering.:: "Hmm looks like the Hufflepuffs are showing there support to Marie, good for them."

(Slytherin Beater)

Grumbels in her sleep and starts snoring boredly..

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen strolled out to the Quidditch pitch with a broom in her hand. Looking up, she noticed the a beater from each team ahd already arrived. Smiling, she jumped onto her broomstick and flew into the air.::

"Can't wait until we get started." she comments to herself as she waits for the quaffle to get thrown into the air.::

(Hufflepuff Beater)

::Erin made her way out onto the pitch. It was bound to be a good game, as most of the games so far had been. She mounted her broom and flew up to meet her fellow Beater, Marie.

"Ready for this?" she asked with a smile.::

(commenator)

::Amber looked towards the pitch and saw that Jenn and Erin had arived.::

"Why it looks that more of the Hufflepuff team has gotten here! Finally! That Slytherin team better get here soon!" ::she exclaimed.:: "Other wise they may have a forfit on their hands, and we wouldn't want that would we?"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen took a look around the field as she watched for the whistle to be blown. Jumping into action as the quaffle left Madame Hooch's fingertips, Jen reached out and snagged the quaffle with her right hand. Tucking it beneath her arm, she ducked a bludger and started flying toward the Slytherin goalposts. Her eyes still alert for her fellow teammates.::

::Amber smiled finally something was getting done!::

"Oh and look there go Hufflepuff chaser Jenn, for the Slytherin goal posts," ::she said.:: "Shes getting closer and there isn't a slytherin in sight to stop her, it looks like the first points of the game may just go to Hufflepuff."

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess Jerked awake she jumped on her broom and zoomed towards her teams goal she readied her bat and hit a bludger soaring for the quaffle Jenn had just thrown trying to make a goal, the Bludger collided with the Quaffle and sent it soaring in the oppisite direction. She Smirked. "Yeah right Amber, like Id ever let them get the first goal."

(commenator)

"Ooh whould you look at that Jess interfears with the goal sending the Quaffle flying!" ::Amber said.:: "However there isn't any Slytherin chasers around so it looks like those Hufflepuffs are going to get the Quaffle back!"

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess sat there wondering where her team was.

"Adam, Jesse... I swear if you dont get your butts out here and win this game Im gonna..." she said under her breath..

(Slytherin Capt and Chaser)

~Groggily, Fated stumbled out onto the Pitch and looked up seeing that the game had started and then his eyes fell on something yellow flying towards the Slytherin goal. Jenn had the quaffle!~

~He shook his head quickly and jumped on his broom and zoomed up as fast as lightning performing the 'Diagnal Snake of Salazar' flying technique.~

~In a burst of speed he soared up from beneath jenn, his hand curled into a fist and he punched the quaffle out of her grasp. It flew into the air and he swooped upside down catching it.~

~With a quick spin he turned his broom and blasted off flying towards Hufflepuff's goal~

(slytherin Beater)

Jess had just spotted a bludger when jesse came onto the pitch. She zoomed off for the bludger and hit it towards the unsuspecting Jenn.

(commenator)

"And it looks that Jesse the Slytherin team captin has finally shown up and he has taken the quaffle from Jenn! Things seem to be turning around before our very eyes!" ::Amber exclaimed.:: "Wow and there goes Jess sending a bludger towards Jenn!"

(Slytherin Beater)
Jess smiled at Amber and then flew over to her.

"I forgot to give you these" she said handing amber pom poms. She then flew back onto the pitch pulling out her ipod and listening to hinder.

(commenator)

::Amber looked down at the pom poms.::

"Can anyone right quick tell me why in the world I was just given pom poms?" ::she asked.:: "Oh right as for the game it looks the the Slytherins are sitting back and enjoying the fact that the Hufflepuffs aren't putting up much of a fight, for now."

(Slytherin Chaser)

~With the quaffle tightly in his grip, he zoomed this way and that and did a couple of rolls as he approached Hufflepuff's goal.~

~He grinned as he drew his arm back and sent the quaffle forward towards the right hoop~

~It was going going...and fell short!~

"Grr" Fated swooped underneath it and caught it this time going closer and throwing it at the hoop again. This time it steadily flew in scoring Slytherin 10 points~

(commenator)

"Would you look at that 10 points to Slytherin," ::Amber said adding 10 points to the Slytherin side.:: "Now that some points are scored maybe the rest of the teams will show up to play!"

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Hearing amber's wonderful voice filled with enthusiasm, his spirits rose even more and as the quaffle was thrown in, Fated flew up and grabbed it just as jenn was going for it~

~He tucked it in the corner of his elbow and then steered his broom towards Hufflepuff's goal area once more but he had to dodge a couple of bludgers along the way and so he veered off course just a little~

~The sounds of the opposing team's players brooms sounded behind him and so he knew he had to pull ahead~ Weaving in and out of the air currents, Fated was able to get three broom lengths ahead of the others and the tallest hoop was his main focus this time~

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

:Luckily Jenn performed the Badger Hide once she spotted the bludger that Jess aimed in her direction. She laid on her broomstick and felt the wind breeze her neck as the bludger narrowly missed her.::

::Pulling her broom ahead, Jenn squinted against the wind as she strained to catch up to Jesse with the quaffle. As he paused before the goalposts, Jenn noticed he had his eyes set on the goals. Jenn pushed her broom slightly ahead of Jesse and gripped her broom tightly in her hands.::

::Jerking her brom to the far left as hard as she could, she was able to spin her broom swiftly in from of Jesse's face creating a spin of broom smoke to distract him.::

::Having successfully performing the Badger Branded, Jenn reached out her right hand and grabbed the quaffle from his grasp.::

::Spinning again on her broom, she quickly flew toward the Slytherin goalposts once more. Noticing the unguarded goalposts, Jenn decided to just aim for a simple goal instead of trying fancy moves until her teammates arrived. She took aim and threw the quaffle into the left hoop to tie the score once more.::

Sighing to herself, Jenn took a look around. "Ginny, Flisan where are you guys?" She murmered to herself as she flew toward the center once more.::

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess sighed and saw an oncoming bludger. She preformed the Archi arch move sending it soaring in an arch fomat toawards jenn..

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Dancing ran out onto the pitch to see that the game had just barely started Wow one of the first times I haven't been late She thought

Hoping onto her broom she soared into the air doing a roll along the way. she smiled as she took positon.

The stands were filling up smiling even more to see the yellow and black of Hufflepuff. Proud Badgers.

(Slytherin Beater)

Jess sighed seeing another Badger join its team.. where was all her team.. she and Jesse cant do everything!

(Slytherin chaser)

~He too wondered where the rest of the Slytherin team was and knew they were outnumbered. He flew past Jess~

"Jess, hang in there! Hopefully we have more of our team coming soon!"

~He then zoomed up and caught the quaffle as it was thrown in again He swerved his broom around and blasted off towards Hufflepuff's goal once more~

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Dancing saw Fated zooming right at her she braced herself for the impact knowing it was going to be a tough save.

As he neared she veered sightly towards the right hoop knowing his little tricks. Feet before he was near enough to shoot she stricked forward slamming into him with such force that he dropped the ball.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Spotting the bludger aiming for her once more, Jen did the Sloth Grip Roll that she learned from Harry Potter himself, (Okay I didnt but a girl could dream right?). She rolled upside down on her broomstick to avoid getting hit by the bludger.::

::As she rolled back upright, she looked up to see Dancingsunset arrive and guard the Hufflepuff goalposts with murder in her eyes. Wincing at the sight of the impact of Jesse and Dancingsunset, Jen dived down to catch the fallen quaffle. Taking a quick look around, she still didn't see her fellow chasers. Flying toward the Slytherin, she leaned on her broom to gain momentum and sped toward the posts. To make it a more difficult task for Jesse to catch up to her and steal the quaffle, she performed the Wooloongong Shimmy, a method of highspeed zigzag flying. She stopped at the Slyherin goalpost and got in position. Tossing the quaffle slightly in the air, she hit the quaffle into the goals with the back of her broomstick.::

Hufflepuff keeper

A little dazed from her crash Dancing zigzaged slowly toward the goals almost being knocked off her broom form a wild bludger.

She steadied heself gazing around the pitch. Qwaffle wized through Slytherins goals her spirits soared. But fell slightly at the fact that they were missing two chaseres and their seeker. *sigh* They better be here.

(Slytherin Chaser)

~Things were not looking good and Fated knew that at this rate not only would Slytherin be outnumbered but outscored~

~He watched as jenn scored again and shook his head. She was clearly a lot more clever than he'd thought. He also realized that hufflepuff's keeper was a nasty little badger~

~He then took a deep breath~

"Alright, if it's a rough game you badgers want, it's what you're going to get.." he mumbled straightening his gloves and cracking his knuckles.~

~Then in a burst of quick speed, he zoomed out and flew catching the quaffle just before jenn could and swooped down performing the 'Slick Serpent' dive and then flipped over to add the 'Skyway Sidewinder' which consisted of similar moves as the snake of salazar only more smooth instead of jagged.~

~He heard the accelerated speed of jenns broom closing in coming up on his left side as he barreled his way down the pitch towards hufflepuff's goal.~

~Thinking quickly he let go of the quaffle and toosed it up above him as he made a side swipe to jenn nudging her just enough to veer her off course and send her in the pathway of an oncoming bludger~

~Then looking at the quaffle descending, he reached out and caught it.~

~He continued on towards Hufflepuff's goal, coming upon it he saw their keeper eyeing him~

"She's a tough one." he thought as the left hoop he was heading forward was blocked from his view and instead a bright yellow colored quidditch robe was in its place.~
~Fated glanced over watching jenn closing in on him once more and grabbing the neck of his broom he got just a little closer before jerking his broom up!~
~He zoomed straight up flying towards the highest hoop but dancing was heading up to block his aim as he tried to aim at throwing the quaffle in~

~However, as soon as Dancing had taken a firm guard position, Fated backflipped performing the 'Snap-back Serpent' and descended quickly diagnally to the right~

~He flew down and sent the quaffle into the right hoop scoring for slytherin but unfortunately he couldn't slow down and as he pulled his broom handle back up he collided with the side of the post that the tallest hoop was perched atop~

~CRASHHHHHHHHHHHH~

~Fated's head connected painfully hard with that metal pole as did his left arm and side. He groaned and then feeling dizzy he grabbed his forehead with one hand and maintained his hold on his broom with the other.~

(commenator)

::Amber rushed back in.::

"Sorry guys I had to take a break, geez a girl goes away for a couple of minutes and all this happens." ::she said.:: "So lets get you caught up in the time since I've left Hufflepuff has scored twice, and has had a memember arive, Jenn did dodge the bludger sent by Jess and looks like another 10 points to Slytherin."

::She looked watched some more.::

"Ouch! And there goes Slytherin Captin and Chaser Jesse into the pole, thats got to hurt!"

*Hufflepuff Keeper*

(Okay sorry Fated for running into you like that)

Dancing veered toward the center goal and saw Fated swoop around lunging to the right the qwaffle soared right through her open arms. Doing a qwick sloth grip roll she headed qwickly around the goals grabbed the qwaffle threw it to Jenn.

Circling back she saw fated coming out of his daze from a crash that had taken place below her. She giggled Fated was crazy she pulled herself out of her revery and started to circle the goals no more mistakes...

(commenator)

"And It looks that Jesse is okay, should have known it would take more then running into a pole to stop him," ::Amber said.:: "And Dancing has the quaffle and does an execellent sloth grip, effectivly passing the quaffle to fellow team mate Jenn!"

*hufflepuff Keeper*

Lazyly seeing Jenn racing down The pitch Dancing decided to practice her favorite move. Badger Block by spinning on her broom to hit away unwanted balls.

Accidentaly while doing this she hit a wild bludger that streamed off toward the comentators box.

"WATCH OUT AMBER!!" she yelled

(commenator)

::Amber screamed and ducked. She watched the bludger fly off.::

::She muttered unpleasent things.:: "Why didn't a remember my beater bat?" ::she asked.:: "Could you lot please refrain from hitting bludgers toward me?"

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

"Sorry Amber It was an Accident" Dancing called.

(commenator)

"Yeah Yeah I'm sure," ::Amber replied looking out on the field.:: "And it seems the game is dead again."

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen caught the quaffle as Dancing tossed it to her. Taking a quick look around, she still saw no other chaser. Glaring at the tent entrance, she muttered to herself, "If they don't show up...."

::Sighing to heself, Jen looked down at the quaffle in her hands and decided to make the most of it. She looked around her and her eyes widened at a bludger that hit the commentator box and headed straight toward her!::

::Dropping the quaffle to her lap, Jen dropped on her stomach and rolled her broom out of the way. Sitting up straight again, she flew toward the Slytherin goalposts at a constant speed.::

(commenator)

"Ooh and it looks that the same bludger that almost got me is now going after Jenn!" ::Amber exclaimed.:: "But no worrys she easily avoids it and sets off towards the Slytherin goal with Quaffle in hand!"

(Hufflepuff beater)

:Marie, who had been lost in her thoughts completely since the match had begun (don't ask her why) finally woke up and went after the bludger that was following Jenn. Lazily, she grabbed her bat and sent it toward a random Slytherin member, not feeling like looking anyway.:

"Okay, I'm bored," she said, yawning.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)


::Jen grinned at Marie.::

"Glad to see at least SOMEBODY is awake." She said with a smile. Tossing the quaffle lightly in the air, she caught it again and hurried off toward the Slytherin goals once more. Taking careful aim, she tossed the quaffle in the air as she jumped off her broomstick she kicked the quaffle into the center hoop. (think last goal in She's the Man.)

"That's the Chaser version of Starfish and Stick," Jen said with a grin. "That hot guy in She's the Man taught me that one." She let out a dreamy sigh and flew toward the center once more.::

(commenator)

"And Maire sends a bludger flying towards a Slytherin member, while Jenn scores 10 more points to Hufflepuff," ::Amber said sighing.:: "Looks as if there isn't a sign of the Snitch yet or the seekers for that matter!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Ginny panted as she ran out onto the field. Stupid Slytherins sabatoging my alarm clock! she cursed inside her head as she took a running jump onto her broom and shot into the air. The red head breathed in deeply and accelerated her flight so that she was closer to Jenn.::

"Sorry I'm late, dratted alarm clock...I think we need more charms and spells around the dorms." ::she said, wiping her forehead with her arm:: "All right, ready to show these snakes what's what?" ::she asked with a grin, her brown eyes dancing.::

(commenator)

::Amber looked to the direction of the enterance noting that the Hufflepuffs had started cheering.::

"And it looks that Ginny the Hufflepuff Chaser finally shows up and the game is almost over too," ::she said.:: "Well I shouldn't talk at least she showed up for the game."

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn grinned as Ginny burst out onto the field.::

"It's about time someone showed up." She joked to her captain. Awaiting the sound of the whistle, she glanced over at Ginny to spot the signal for the next play.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Hey, I coulda stayed asleep. I happened to have been having a very nice dream!" ::she said with a huff, sticking her tongue out at Jenn. Ginny reached out and snatched the Quaffle, tucking it securely under her arm.::

"Reverse Swerve?" ::she suggested, heading for Slytherin's goal posts.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jenn caught Ginny's wink as she said Reverse Swerve. Flying next to her captain, they huddles together for a few moments before Jenn nodded and flew toward the middle once more.::
