| (Gryffindor Keeper)
She ached all over... in her legs, in her arms, in her back, in her stomach, in her shoulders... She could practically feel it in her bones. "Not a good day..." she grumbled, or at least she tried to. Instead, it came out like "Numphgumphdae" since her mouth was buried between her pillow and her covers. Now with her attempt at speech, her tongue felt like it had grown a fuzzy coat. She sighed and gave up trying to talk; she'd do better trying to go back to sleep. Trying to slow her breathing, she concentrated on thinking of nothing, of leaving the reality of pains and aches, of escaping into numbness.
RRIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!
June gasped, her eyes popping open and her arms outstretched, fighting off the covers. She was sweating and all tangled in her sheets, and she could've sworn that she was reaching for something... June sat up and peeled off her blankets. Oh, right... She'd been dreaming that she was at a Quidditch game, and that the only thing between the Quaffle and the Gryffindor goals was her. She shuddered; it hadn't exactly been a restful dream. But her dream brought her back to today. June glanced at her alarm clock; she had more than enough time to get ready for today's game.
Stifling a yawn, June got out of bed and groaned as her aching muscles twinged in defiance. We don't want to move! they practically screamed. June gritted her teeth and moved anyway; since when had her body parts gained minds of their own? She lumbered about her room, putting on her clothes. She glanced outside and managed to smile. There were a few clouds, enough to occasionally block the sunlight, but it didn't look like there was much of a chance of rain.
After 20 minutes, June found herself in the Gryffindor Locker Room. She took out her trusty broom, Aethera, and - wait for it - didn't reach for her Beater's bat. June almost stopped herself as she grabbed her Keeper gloves and looked at her bat for a long moment. She supposed it was a step in the right direction of transitioning to Keeper.. but... she couldn't help the sting of nostalgia that she felt. Shaking her head, June sighed and pulled on her gloves. She could dwell on the past after the game. Now however, there was a match to fight for and hopefully win. After putting on her robes and tying up her hair with her Gryffie clip, June clutched Aethera in her right hand and walked out onto the Pitch.
It was a beautiful day that was only hinted at from her window, and June turned her face to the sun and smiled, basking in the welcome warmth after days of rain. Coming out of her time of peace, June swung a leg over her broom, held it tightly, and kicked off with ease. Once again, she was early for the game. If this was going to become a habit, it was a welcome one. As she waited for her teammates and for Slytherin, June rose higher into the air and began to fly and wheel around the Pitch. As Keeper, she had to mostly stay in the goal area, so she didn't get much of a chance to fly as freely as she had last term. So now before the game officially started, June relished in the chance to soar, high and light and fast like a bird.

Erika's legs were stiff as she pulled herself up and out of the bed. Restless she pulled on her hoodie and walked down the stairs planning to sit in the great hall. "Thats strange.." Looking around she noticed the halls were wild and full of energy. She hesitated to get to her sences. Grabbing the nearest first year by his collar she hissed,
"Is there a game today?" The boy shuddered, "Yeah, Gryffindor and Slytherin!" She dropped him where he ran off to his friends.
"A game!! How do I not know theres was a game today?" Erika mummbled to herself. She ran till she couldnt run no more. Running her hands through her trunk she managed to get her pads and jersey. Students rushed outside and Erika followed mounting her broom and flying off into the air.
She was greated by the sight of June. "I hear your our Keeper now!!" She shouted, "We needed one."

Bella woke up, the early autum sun shining through her open window. Bella stretched out her joints before sitting up in her bed. Bella looked around her awesome dorm. It was new, and boy did they have to work hard for it! The awesomeness that was Violet was still asleep, and Bella looked sadly at Kathrines empty bed. Kathrine was very busy this weekend and couldnt make the quidditch game but Violet was to play chaser. Bella smiled as a brilliant plan came to mind. In her rush to detangle herself from her many blankets, Bella promtly fell out of bed but quickly stood up. She stood next to Violets bed and wispered ''Augumenti (Water)''. A jet of icy cold water spouted all over her ratty, and with a loud shout of ''QUIDITCH!!!'', Bella dashed out the door. She loved Violet dearly but gathered she would not be too happy about her wakeup call, so Bella was keen to have witnesses when in her company before she forgot about it.
Bella rushed through the castle, glad that she had fallen asleep in her clothes last night seeing as she had completely forgotten to get changed. Bella bypassed the great hall and headed straight for the quidditch pitch where she entered the Slytherin changing rooms. Bella quickly pulled on her green robbes, before running a brush through her hair, which she had elected to wear in pigtails before exiting the change room and entering the pitch.
Once on the pitch, Bella pushed off the ground and did a few warm up laps around the feild before doing a double take. The only other players on the pitch were two of the gryffies. That meant Bella was early. The shock of this nearly made Bella fall off her broom. She hardly ever turned up on time for a match, but she had never been early before. Bella shuddered. She didnt like this odd feeling, and made a mental note not to wake up before 10am before the next match. Bella glared forbidingly at the gryffies before continuing to fly around in circles, waiting for her team to arrive.

| [Slytherin Captain and Chaser]
Gemma was sleeping like a stone after a week full of homework and just general annoyances. It was because of this that she hadn't heard the alarm, even as its volume increased to the level of an angry Hippogriff stomping beside her bed. She'd just turned in her soft, warm bed and continued dreaming until her body felt fit enough to allow her to stop sleeping.
"BEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!"
"Huh? Where am I? What's going on? Don't curse me, I've got a match today."
It was usual for her to babble senseless stuff right after waking up, but as she realized the word Quidditch had escaped her mouth, she set her mind to work finally. So did she have a game today? Would she need to be on the pitch? She looked upwards, where she had wisely pinned a calendar to the bed's canopy, and bolted up at the shock of seeing bright red words. Quidditch. Gryffindor. CAPTAIN!
Having barely avoided hitting her head on a bed post during her sudden jumping up, she was already racing over to the chair on which she'd laid out her Quidditch clothes the evening before. She didn't even take time to make sure she'd gotten out the right things, she just wriggled into the pair of trousers and a top, snatching the sweater in one hand and some candy in the other, and then she ran.
You could say she ran as if her life depended on it, but in some way it did - which was the reason why the smell of food in the Great Hall didn't draw her attention for even one second. She skipped up the stairs, mumbling something about the idiocy of dorms in the dungeons, out of the huge doors, and along the path to the Pitch. On her way, she roughly pulled the sweater on with every hope of not falling to the floor due to momentary blindness. She was that lucky and slowed down only when she reached the locker. She hadn't had the time to notice the nervous butterflies in her stomach before, and now that she felt them she gave her best to keep on ignoring them.
Hey, it's nothing special. You were just appointed a new position because someone else needed a rest...and it isn't that bad. You can do it! Even if your wif-
Slamming the door to the locker room hard she cut off the thought. Not good to consider that now, not at all. Instead Gemma opened her locker and rushedly grabbed her Quidditch robes and equipment. She shrugged into it unbotheredly, put her hair into the normal rather messy bun and stuffed the candy into the various pockets of her slightly altered clothing (though not before she'd had taken the time to pour some pixie sticks' contents down her throat). With a deep, sigh-like breath, she pinned the shiny Captain badge above her chest and gave it a thoughtful glance. What wouldn't she have given to wear it a few months ago...
Once more she slammed a door to stop reminiscing, only this time it was the one to the pitch. She was positive she hadn't made it in time, so her surprise was rather great as she noticed only two Gryffindors were there along with Bella from her own team, and no balls were to be seen. She didn't understand that at all, but brushed it off since it wasn't a bad thing at all.
"Hey Bells, nice to see somebody's around already. I'm really sorry I didn't make it any earlier, I could swear some Gryff slipped me a sleeping potion...Anyway, what's it with this match? Shouldn't it have started a while ago?"
She was talking to the beater she had flown over to after having mounted her broom and pushed off the grass. Obviously the girl took her role seriously, as she was out there and warming up earlier then her Captain. Mentally slapping herself for the destructive mood, Gemma looked around and noticed that for once, it didn't look as if it was going to rain any second. It was rather pleasant, as a matter of fact, a slight breeze playing with fallen leaves on the ground and the sun shining. Idyllic. Probably.
She shook her head. Why couldn't the match begin already? She wanted to get something done, but she could hardly fly away in a half-hearted warm-up move before she'd have heard the answer of her teammate. She was stuck waiting, and therefore came to the conclusion she might as well practice some move on the spot.
The Reverse Snake was the first she thought of, somewhat similar to the Sloth Grip Roll however including letting go of the broomstick with one's hand and dangling only by one's legs wrapped securely around it. Unlike the original Roll, this was used to catch a flying Quaffle or even to cause confusion rather than to avoid anything. When it came to getting back up, it was accordingly harder, which meant it needed quite some practice. Perfect.
She let go without carefulness and felt her body falling to the side fast, it swung a litte, then she hung unmoved. The wind blew her hair into her face, not caring about rules such as gravity, contrary to her blood. She felt it streaming to her head, gathering in her cheeks and making her feel dizzy after a while. A weird sound began to block out the talk from the Spectators Stands, and light dots danced in front of the sky. She knew it was about time she got herself upright again, but the whole thing was eerily peaceful. Debussy's Claire de Lune flashed into her mind, and she smiled strainedly. Everything would be alright.
She bent upwards with some effort from her abs, making her hands be closer to the handle but not grabbing it, and pushed her torso to the side. Now she needed to gain momentum, she swung herself from side to side, and then the moment was there. A second of another rush and she was sitting upright again, having her broom turned along with her. The blood left her head faster than it had come, and she had to blink for normal vision. The fuzziness vanished and left only a slight dizziness, more enjoyable. She looked around again and spotted Bella.
Ooops. Well, hopefully she hasn't tried to answer my questions when I was still down there. Now when will this game finally start?

June laughed as she spun through the air. After a few laps, she was back in the goal area and making sure her Keeper skills were up to snuff. The last game had been ‘ehhh’, and she hoped this one would be better, at least for the Gryffindor side. At the moment, she was spinning around the goals. Despite the head rush, the Spinning Shield was one of her favorite Keeper moves. It involved flying and spinning simultaneously around the three goal hoops, giving them a wide berth while confusing the opposing team’s Chasers. After a few moments of spinning, June slowly decreased her speed until she was stopped in front of the middle hoop. She turned back around towards the center of the Pitch, but sighed as the balls hadn’t been released yet. Practicing was all well and good, but the fun really started with the game.
As she scanned the skies, June’s eyes narrowed at the sight of a green blur racing into the air. She floated a bit closer as the player flew higher, and then recognized who it was: Bella. June smiled briefly before she drifted further away from the goals. Finally, a Slytherin had arrived… and it appeared to be a Slytherin with a competitive streak. June grinned widely at Bella’s glare, completely unaffected by it. By this term, June was a veteran and wasn’t going to be intimidated by another player’s passive actions. A quick blur appeared out of the corner of her eye, and June snapped her head to her left, hoping it was Amy. She was disappointed at the sight of another Slytherin, Gemma, but waved to her friend nonetheless.
June turned back towards the goals, humming softly to herself. The song was “Fall Down” by Superchick and was one of her recent favorites. “I'm not afraid to fall, it means I climbed up high. To fall is not to fail, you fail when you don't try,” she sang softly to herself as she prepared to execute another maneuver. There wasn’t anything better to do, so June decided to practice the Gryffindor Guard. A slightly haphazard move, it involved moving from in front of one goal hoop to another to another to another to – well, I’m sure you get the idea. June started at the center hoop and switched to the left. She continued to switch hoops at an increasing speed, trying not to think about which hoop she’d guard next. That was what made the maneuver tricky: the Keeper couldn’t think too much about which hoop to guard next. Doing so would mean position the body and broom in that direction earlier, giving the Chasers a base to estimate which hoop to throw the quaffle through.

As I did forget, and as the game hasn't progressed past players arriving, I'm going to extend the game for a further three days. So, this match will now end on Thursday evening.

Amy flew onto the pitch, massively late and hoping no one was angry at her.
She released all the Quidditch balls and then blew the whistle.
"Let the game begin!

| (Slytherin Chaser) Violet had been dreaming when she felt water poured on her. She jumped up quickly, shivering. “What the hell!” She yelled. She glared as someone ran out and she knew who it was. “Ratty…I’m gonna kill her.” She grumbled, getting out her of her bed. She sighed, stretching herself a bit. She knew what today was and she wasn’t going to be late. She yawned, grabbing her clothes and stuffing them into a duffle bag. She had already had a shower, so she didn’t need one that morning yet.
She walked out into the common room, hoping to see ratty. She gave up, knowing she wasn’t there and walked out, going towards the locker room. After ten minutes, she walked in, got dressed and stepped out. Her eyes widen when she saw Ducky let the quaffle go. She jumped on her broom, rushing towards it. “NO!!! I NEED THAT!!” She yelled, rushing towards it. She didn’t care what happen to her, just as long as they didn’t get it, she was happy. He felt her arm curl around it and she smiled.
“WHAT NOW!” She yelled, turning on her broom. She held the quaffle to her, smiling. “Yes I wuves you. Yes I dos.” She said to the quaffle. She hoped someone would come out soon to help her, she couldn’t live doing this alone again. “Shadow…please be playing….” She mumbled. She looked around for Ratty once more, before flying to the goal post. She looked around her, seeing no beaters yet and she took that as a good sign. She wondered how many people they had on there team now, seeing as everyone was busy lately. She gulped, knowing she should act soon. She didn’t know how good the Gryffies were, but she didn’t want to risk it. She decided to stall for a bit.

June skid to a halt, almost flipping over sideways on her broom. Her hands automatically dug into the handle of her broom and she was almost sure her fingernails had left crescent-shaped marks in the wood. June closed her eyes for a long moment, trying to stop the world spinning in her head. Finally after a few deep breaths, she opened them and smiled. While she had been practicing her move, she had seen something from the corner of her eye that had made her think ‘referee. game. start.’. She had braked as quickly as possible, not wanting to get caught unawares, but it appeared she should have been a bit more careful. At the speed that she’d been going at, June was very lucky not to have been thrown off of her broom. Thankfully, all she’d gotten was a temporary dizziness and a few more marks on her broom which could be taken care of later.
June’s glimpse of the Pitch had been correct, and Amy really had flown up and released the balls. The game had officially begun. June looked down momentarily and quickly checked to make sure her gloves weren’t sliding off. She raised her head once more and tensed. While she had been preoccupied, another Slytherin had flown into the air and... yep, it was a Chaser. June quickly flew back to her spot in front of the Gryffindor goal hoops and eyed the Slytherin player warily. It was Violet, and the girl looked as if she’d just woken up. June wished that that would affect the player’s accuracy in scoring… not that June planned on letting any quaffles through the hoops today.
Though Violet was headed for the hoops, it looked as if she was going a bit slowly, as if she was stalling for time. June frowned; was she waiting for more players to show up? She sighed and took her hands off of her broom, flexing her fingers in the confining gloves. “Ready,” she whispered to herself. Already, a probable play was flitting through June’s mind, but she decided to wait until Violet was much closer. If other players joined her, then the play would have to be altered, of course. And also, June couldn’t forget about the other players in the air… As she waited for Violet to get closer, she kept herself busy keeping eyes on the rest of the Slytherins, as well as silently urging Erika to act, and act soon.

With all the waiting for an answer, Gemma had done what she'd always been best out - she zoned out. In her own happy world with flashy, bright colours and sweet music, nothing from the outside would be noticed. Useful to no end at times, but definitely not in a Quidditch match - yet it was the unavoidable effect of sugar consumption. Yelling woke her from the trance, and she looked around in confusion, just barely seeing a blur of green rising onto the pitch. While green was generally a good sign, she did wish she knew what was happening there.
Sudden movement on the ground cleared the issue up for the girl, as she saw the referee Amy head to the far end of the pitch. Obviously the game had finally started, and by now the green thing was also a lot slower and she figured it out to be Violet, her fellow teammate and Chaser. Said Slytherin was looking a bit lost with the Quaffle in her arm, moving towards the goal posts at low speed. Gemma decided to go for teamwork and sped up to cross the gap between herself and the other.
"Hey Vi, good to finally see another Chaser out here. And nice you went for that Quaffle so thoughtfully, I'd totally have missed out on grabbing it. So what do you think, time to come up with some move? I'm sure we'd manage to get our shiny friend here past the Gryff Keeper, from what I've heard she only started in that position last match!"
Dangerously close to babbling, she decided to shut her mouth. This wasn't one of her wifeys who'd be able to understand her gibberish if she went on and on, so she needed to control herself to have it be a good team. Coming to the conclusion that quick thinking was worth a lot more than fast talking, she focused on chosing a move they could pull off together.
Hmm, Bella could surely help us, she's one good beater and could distract Lion girl over there....then again, that'd be too predictable, wouldn't it? I wonder whether we could try that new Deceiving Deity move we were talking about a while ago. Why shouldn't we, actually?
She'd made up her mind for the time being, and it truely was an interesting move to pull of, so she suggested it to Violet and hoped Bella'd pick up on it if they did it. Grinning, she settled on her broom and waited for response, this time determined to stay in the here and now during doing so. To make sure she didn't drift off too far with her thoughts, she stretched out both arms and tried some balancing, shifting her hips here and there to stay upside down. Yeah, today was a day for risks...

Violet raised an eyebrow at her, wondering what she was going on about. She forgot that Gemma was the chaser on the team to. For some reason, she thought she was beater and shook her head. She yawned, shaking her head again. She nodded when Gemma said we would get in into the goal. She should go to sleep earlier then what she had been. She was always tired. She looked around for her Ratty and smiled.
“I like the plan…” She mumbled and held the ball closer to her chest. She flew away from her, nodding towards her. It wouldn’t matter about the self-fish part, she was self-fish and she knew it. She laughed to herself, shaking her head softly. She yawned again and flew to the goal. She smiled at the keeper, waving to her a bit. “Hey!” She yelled at her, yawning again. She looked to see where Gemma was and sighed.
“I wish she would stop following me.” She mumbled. She hoped Gemma knew what was going on and why she was saying it. She looked to see where Ratty was and to see if any Gryffies were there to stop her. Not seeing any, she looked to see where she could throw the ball.
“Do I want to throw it?” She asked out loud. She looked at the goal, then back at the quaffle. “Tic toc tic toc.” She mumbled to herself. After a debate, she flew from back soon, deciding not to throw it just yet. She looked at the Keeper again and smiled.
“I think I should hold her or him a bit more. I mean…this will be the last time in awhile.” She said, holding the ball closer to her chest. She turned around and yawned. She looked for Gemma again and sighed.

June's eyes narrowed while watching Gemma fly closer towards the goals. She tracked both the Slytherin Chasers' moves as she slowly began to drift from the hoop to hoop, feeling alarm bells go off in her head. The two Slytherins were very close to each other now, and June could they were talking. It didn't take a genius to realize that they were planning something. Slytherins always were, now that she thought about it. As they slowly but surely neared the Gryffindor goals, June tensed, about to put her play into action. She knew that she had only played Keeper for three games, but she had practiced tons in preparation, and June was confident that she wouldn't be a complete idiot at this position. Now if only she knew for sure that she'd stop the quaffle when Violet threw it...
June was brought back to the game as Violet stalled in front of her, clutching the quaffle to her chest. June looked at her, puzzled. What was she waiting for? The Slytherin girl flew back and June frowned. Alrighty then.... Strange. June wondered if flying away was part of the plan Violet and Gemma had decided upon. It seemed rather.... anticlimactic. She dismissed her thoughts with a mental shrug and focused once more on what was going on in front of her. Keeping her play on the forefront of her mind in case she would need it, June kept drifting in front of the goal posts, waiting on tenterhooks.

Erika soared torwards the Slythiren Chaser about to steal her points to earn. The glare of the sun wasnt a bother as Erika stopped and scaned for the right momment to amboosh. Autumn air was refreshing, Erika took a deep breath and gripped her broom tight.
Her comet 2-50 was a reliable broom and she knew it would hold even at the high speeds Erika tried on it. She decided it was time. The Attack was used when the Quaffle is in the opponents hands and is ready to score. The Chaser was to fly at a sharp angle to gain speed to spin around the Holder of the Quaffle. Erika hoped to confuse Violet.
It involved luck and this was something she lacked.
"June!!" Erika called out to intack her possition. The Attack was going to be difficult- shock waves ran down her spine. You could die.

Gemma tried hard not to grin as she realized Violet seemed to approve of her plan. Apparently, she didn't have a problem with the little catch of their move, and she was positively anxious to see the new move put into effect. At fairly euqal speed, she followed behind her teammate. But as she heard her mumbling about the annoying following, she scowled. Maybe teamwork wasn't something working too well here. Yet she brushed off the negative thought and just stuck to her path of flying, gripping her lovely broom.
I do hope our sly Vi confuses Keepy Girl over there, even though she does look rather suspicious with that alert watching us. Well, doesn't matter I guess, it's not like she could make anything of it. Man, we're just too cunning for this world....
Another hidden grin and she noticed the second Chaser stopping in front of the goal posts, swaying from side to side and then backing up again. It looked rather indecisive, and Gemma concluded that the idea of being able to pull it off all on her own didn't appeal to her as much any longer - of course she'd never had had it, in the first place, or had she? Not that it did count now, this was a team thingy and she'd not ruin the DD with her thoughtfulness.
She lowered herself onto the broom handle, lying almost flat, and trusty Steed shot forward. Okay, that wasn't exactly inconspiciuous, but still the easiest way to move fast, and she needed that now. Maybe she could 'convince' Violet to not act all selfish, cough cough. After a matter of moments, she'd reached her destined position a short distance away from the goal hoops, a little to the side as well. From there, the sun was more annoying, but the new outlook also revealed to her the approaching Gryff Chaser, nearing as if to knock her fellow Slytherin from her broom by sheer force.
"Vi, watch out! Body Bludger approaching! Toss that damn thing, noooww!"
She didn't indicate anything about where to toss the Quaffle, though, for she hoped June would guess she meant the hoops, while she naturally meant to her, Gemma. Such was the nature of the Deceiving Deity, after all, make one Chaser look all selfish and have the other near the hoops. Throw so it confuses the Keeper, no matter who scores actually, but better looking if Chaser 1 aimed at the hoop, threw slighty off aim to Chaser 2, whom'd then score before the Keeper'd understand. Ah, how she loved the advantages of sleepless nights to come up with strategies and moves...

| (Slytherin Beater)
Bella stared absentmindedly at the sun, squinting slightly. She did not even notice the arrival of Gemma, let alone hear anything she said to her. Bella was literally almost asleep, not having gotten much the night before. She was shaken into a state of almost-awake by some shouting and the arrival of her Ratty. Bella grinned and tryed to catch what Gemma was saying to her wifey... Somthing about the Deceiving Deity . Bella had heard that one before. Bella continued to watch and listen trying to remeber what her part in the manuver was.
Bella watched Violet begin to fly with the quaffle. That was odd, she seemed not to want to share the bright red ball with Gemma... how strange. The Gryffendor keeper whom Bella recognised as June seemed to share Bellas view of things. Next thing she knew, the Gryffendor chaser had thrown herself at Ratty, and Gemma screamed for Violet to toss the quaffle.
The shock had done it! Bella was hit with the obvious knowlegde of what her part in the manuver was. ''I have to hit a bludger at the keeper!'' Bella wispered, too softly for anyone to hear, but her voice alive and excited about having figured out this crucial information by herself. Bella grinned, extreemly pleased with her newfound intelligence (well, more intelligence she had known she had this morning) and quickly spotted a bludger not to far from where she was hovering now. Bella quickly flew towards it and with a hard, vicious swing of her arm sent it flying madly towards dear June.
Bella cackled evilly. Poor June. Not only did she have the two chasers to deal with, but bella had decided to send her a little present. Bella almost felt sorry for her, but that emotion was overtacken by an enormus amount of joy. There was no way Deceiving Deity would fail now.

Any time now... June was almost getting frustrated, watching Violet clutching the quaffle. The suspense was killing her and she wanted the girl to just throw it already, enough with the waiting! But she sighed as she realized that wasn't quite fair, and patted a hand against the handle of her broom to let out her excess frustration. As she tapped, June watched as a blur of red grew closer: Erika. A small smile appeared on her face as June watched Erika fly towards Violet. After the Gryffindor called to her, June nodded and flashed her a hand signal, letting her know of the Daring Distraction that she was about to do. Hopefully, Erika would notice the signal in time and do what she had to do.
In the Daring Distraction, the Keeper briefly left the hoops to dart towards an opposing Chaser, unnerving and distracting the Chaser. The basics of the play usually remained the same, but how it was used all depended on the circumstances. Since Erika was a Chaser and needed to get the quaffle, June would be going after Gemma at the right time. She took a few slow breaths, trying to get her breathing and adrenaline under control. She could not afford to miss this act.
Suddenly, Gemma veered to the side and flew to a new position, no longer behind Violet. June instantly tensed and focused on the Chaser, mentally changing her move to fit the new positions. Just a few moments more… Gemma shouted to Violet to throw the quaffle, and June narrowed her eyes. If it was towards the goals, she couldn’t leave… But she trusted Erika. Suddenly, June saw a black blur out of the corner of her eye and quickly turned her head to look. It was a bludger! There was no time to waste; the move couldn’t be put off now. “Erika!” June shouted, letting the Gryffindor know it was time. Immediately after she shouted, June spurred Aethera into gear and flew straight towards Gemma. She grimaced and bent down on her broom to keep from getting bludger-fied. Thank God Gemma was in the scoring area; June wouldn’t have risked leaving the hoops if she had been farther away.
