The posts can begin on Monday 1st September - not before!
and will end on Friday 5th September - 5 days of rpg posting!

When you post - please put your position and team (eg. Gryffindor Beater) in brackets before you begin the RPG post - otherwise your post will be void of any points!

Weather: A rainy day for the first match of the new season.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See the howler in the main forum for more info.

[Slytherine Keeper]

Katherine was lying in her bed, half awake. She didn't get much sleep last night, as she was so excited. Her first Quidditch game as a real member of the team! And she got her dream spot as keeper! She looked at the clock beside her bed, seeing that it read 7:00. She supposed she could get up and go eat breakfast. She reached over to her alarm, turning it off before it could ring and wake the dorm. Someone else had to have one set.

She stood up, pulling on her pants and a plain white tee. Over that, she put on her Quidditch robes, then shoes, with her long striped green and grey socks. The finishing touch was a big green bow in her ponytail. Sure, it was a cheerleading bow. But it worked.

All dressed, she walked to the common room, seeing the notice about the game which just made the butterflies in her stomach dance even more. She walked out the large stone door, turning down the corridor towards the great hall. She smelled bacon, making her mouth water. Reaching the great hall, she noticed the doors already open, and a few students from other houses in there. At least she wasn’t the first one. She took her normal seat at Slytherin table, and loaded her plate with bacon and eggs.

She ate fast, eager to get down to the field and check the weather. When she finally finished a record ten minuets later (she didn’t eat much, she was so nervous). Walking down to the field, she grabbed her nimbus 2000 and ran down the grounds. The weather seemed great, not too windy, not to cold. Sure, it was raining, which would impair her vision a bit, but that also made it fun! She would do fine. The ground was squishy beneath her feet as she kicked off into the air, and started to fly a few laps around the field. Now, she only had to wait for the rest of her team.

{Ravenclaw Keeper and Acting Co-Captain}

Rigby walked into the locker room, her stomach full of nerves for the first time in a long time. She had finally passed on her seeker position to another player, and was now taking on the role of Keeper. Her body was sore from the hard practices she had been putting herself through in hopes of not making an embarrassment of herself.

Opening her locker she was happy to see her shiny new keeper uniform hanging there. It was a bit more bulky than the seeker's uni, but it came with the necessary padding to keep her a bit safer. Of course, even more balls would be flying her way now, but she looked forward to the challenge. As she put on her new uniform her mind raced through new moves she had only just learned. The main rule is the one she focused on: Do Not Let The Quaffle Past You.

Finally dressed, Rigby tamed her hair into a french braid, adding extra pins here and there. It had been raining when she made her way down here, the kind of rain that would last all day. She didn't want her hair frizzing out and becoming a distraction during the game.

She grabbed her new broomstick, having traded in her fast, sleek model, for one that was sturdier and able to withstand lots of hits. Rigby was pleased with it, and having the added feature of a heated seat was going to come in handy this particular game. Now it was time to play!

Rigby half ran, half skipped down the tunnels and onto the pitch. She mounted her broomstick and kicked off. She was the first Raven in the air, but not the first player. She quickly made her way to the Ravenclaw goals and began weaving in and out of the the three goal hoops. She could not wait for the game to begin!

Slytherin Chaser)

Violet groaned, hearing her alarm clock go off. “Come on…leave me alone.” She groaned, reaching out for it. Her hand hit something instead and she jumped up, screaming. She heard Luthwing under the bed, laughing in a hiss. “LUTHWING!” She yelled, looking at her hand. She saw familiar red liquid on her hand and growled. “Did you put a rat on my desk?” She asked him. She started getting annoyed and the stupid alarm clock wasn’t helping her either. She growled and grabbed the alarm clock, wrinkling her nose in disgust as her hand touched the rat again. She threw the rat on the floor and grabbed her clock, turning it off. She laid back down and her mind started working.

“OH MY GOD!” She yelled, jumping up. She looked at the calendar on her, noticing she had bother flipping it for last couple months. She started freaking out, flipping the pages to September. Her eyes widen and she ran to the bathroom. She turned the water on, not bothering letting it warm up. She jumped in, screaming as the cold water fell on her skin.
“COLD COLD!” She yelled, looking down at her clothes. “Shoot a gun.” She mumbled, removing her clothes and screaming again at the water. She heard someone tell her to shut up, but she didn’t. She hurrying washed her hair, the water finally getting warm enough for her.

She turned the water off, after washing the soap off her and grabbed a towel. She wrapped it around herself, running out only to slip on the water on her floor. She heard Luthwing hissing his laugh again. “Shut it.” She hissed, standing up. She ran to her closet, grabbing her robes and a duffle bag to put them in. She grabbed some shorts and a shirt from a drawer, putting them on real quick and grabbed her shoes. She put the on and looked at the clock, before feeling stupid. She had more then an hour to be outside and here she was, hurryingly putting on her clothes. She growled and looked at Luthwing.

“You knew I was earlier didn’t you?” She hissed to him. Luthwing hissed back at her, letting her know it was an yes. She glared, putting her foot down. She tied her shoes and stood up, grabbing her broom and wand. She glared at Luthwing again, making sure her duffle bag was on her shoulder. She shut the door slowly, turning around to walk down the stairs.

She walked into the common room, glaring at everyone. She sat in a chair, checking her watch. She had a while before she had to go and she grabbed the paper and started reading it. She soon got bored, hearing how something had been stolen from the Minstry, like always. She stood up and walked out the door, sighing. “Stupid snake…why I got him? I will never know…” She mumbled, shutting the door behind her. She pulled her black shorts down a bit, running her hand threw her hair. She had realized that, in her rush, she didn’t put it up into a ponytail or anything. She stopped in front of the mirror that she had put there long ago and started parting her hair.

“Why today? I sooo needed sleep.” She mumbled, running her fingers in her hair softly. She started braiding it and smiled, at the two braiding pigtails she had made. Suddenly, it was all she wore her hair in, but she didn’t care. She walked to the great hall and saw it crowded, so she skipped out, not hungry anyway. She opened the door and groaned. “Why? Are you trying to curse me?” She asked up to the sky. She sighed and walked out, not caring about how wet she was getting. Why should she? She was going to be wet for the whole game anyway. She walked into the locker room, feeling the warmth in there.

She sat her duffel bag down on the bench and started changing. She smiled, remembering the uniform she wore last year. She was keeper then, and now she was chaser, and the uniform didn’t suit her at all, but she just glad to be back on the team. She tied her shoes again and sat her clothes on a hanger, allowing them to dry. She grabbed her necklace and kissed it for good luck. “Please…don’t let us lose.” She mumbled to herself, walking to the door. She looked out to see if she knew anyone and smiled.

“KATHERINE!” She yelled, running over to her. She stopped by her, shaking the water from her face. “Happy for the first game?” She asked her, smiling. Violet looked at the Ravies’ keeper and raised an eyebrow. “Ok…when she gets sick…its no my fault.” She mumbled, leaning on a pole. She sighed, waiting for everyone else to come out. “I wish my Ratty would hurry up.” She mumbled, crossing her arms. She sighed again, waiting for the game to start.

((Slytherin Chaser))

Shadow opened her eyes slowly, glaring at the grinning face of her sister just in front of her nose. Sighing, she sat up, stretching wolfishly as she cast a lazy, half asleep eye round her green and silver dorm. She cracked her neck and stood up, wandering around until she found her quidditch kit, trying to remember that she was now playing chaser and not beater like last term.

Shadow walked through the common room, smiling slightly and nodding her head at the few Slytherins already up and chatting about the game to come. Slinging her bag with her quidditch kit over one shoulder and carrying her firebolt, she walked out of the common room with a purposeful stride, heading for the Great Hall.

Once there, Shadow took her usual place away from the other Slytherins, being not of the sociable kind. She took a slice of toast and munched on it, thinking about different tactics for the upcoming match. She cast an eye upwards to the enchanted ceiling of the Great Hall and was disappointed to see rain falling. Great, She thought to herself. First game of the season and it's raining. How typical of Scotland...

Finishing her toast, she stood up and made her way out of the Hall and through the heavy wooden doors outside into the grounds. She pulled the hood on her cloak over her head to keep the rain off as she walked quickly to the quidditch pitch. Once in the changing rooms, she pulled off her casual clothes, changing into her new, bright green and silver robes, (She outgrew her old ones), before putting on a green cloak to keep the rain off. She took her broom and pulled the hood over her head again before striding out onto the pitch. Seeing two Slytherin players already there, she felt slightly relieved as she kicked off from the ground, trying not to think of the squelch as she did so.

(Ravenclaw Seeker)

Elladora was skipping down to the Quidditch Pitch with much enthusiasm. This would be her first game as Ravenclaw's Seeker, and it had been Rigby's old position. She had some shoes to fill. Elladora entered the locker room and looked herself over. Wet. She began wringing out her hair as she went over to where her locker was. She squealed.

Elladora grabbed her robes and changed quickly. Her robes were light, good and flexible. Glad for once about her short build, she twisted her long hair into a bun and grabbed her broom. Before she left the locker room, she took a deep breath and reminded herself of what was out there. A real Quidditch match, seekers get fouled a lot, it's raining, I'm looking for the Snitch. She tightened her grip on her broom and walked out onto the pitch.

Elladora looked around. It wasn't her first time out here, but now she was helping her team out to win the Quidditch Cup. She was getting jittery, so she mounted her broom and kicked off the slippery floor, almost falling in the process, and ascended high into the air. A few other players were already here. Her own teammate, Rigby, and a few Slytherins. The scent of the rain calmed her senses and she could not wait for the game to start!

((Commentator))

“Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, Purple Hippos and Angry Badger's, Sly Snakes and Pesky Ravens and not to forget those oh so adorable Kittens! *coughs* I mean Lion.”

Etta sat in the commentator's box painting her toe nails a bright pink to match her new hair. She lifted her wand to throat, tapped it and began talking, her voice echoed around the pitch and over the voices of those in the crowd

“Before I begin with the Quidditch information I do have to warn all First Years that Bobina the purple hippo and Bobbette the Hufflepuff Badger are on the loose and dropping all first year students they find out of the divination tower window,” yawned Etta rather bored. “for the rest of the school, Be advised an evil overlord is lurking in the great hall, Master Rai-Daddio-I-own-a-frilly-skirt is currently auditioning people for his cover band 'Dancing Queens' entrants are asked to ensure they can sing otherwise he will kill you. And finally, The rumours of the HE Olympic medals are true, Elfie ate them all last night claiming the chocolate was going to melt. Photographs can be found within the evening edition of today's Witch Daily News.”

Having finished painting her toe nails, Etta glanced at the pitch and smiled.

“Oh look ANTS!” shouted Etta. “Oh no wait its the players! Okay folks I give you .... kathrineee_anne the Slytherin Keeper! And following her is .... our very own, fan favourite, Rigby Dumbledore the Ravenclaw Keeper! HI KATE! Okay back to the arrivals! Oh my lord! Are my eyes deceiving me? Can it be? YES LADIES AND GENTLEMEN contrary to popular belief violetriddle has returned to the Slytherin team as Chaser! And following quickly behind is Shadow Granger for Slytherin and ElladoraZeller for Ravenclaw as their iddy biddy Seeker!”

Etta took a quick drink of coke and cleared her throat.

“So everyone, the teams are gearing up for all out war ... well lets hope for war! All we need now is the balls to be unleashed and the game to get under way, I am your MC for this match and together we shall um, paint each other's nails and watch soppy films should this grow tiresome, KIDDING!”

(Ravenclaw chaser)

Polly walked down to the changing rooms the rain pouring down on top of her umberella stray drops splashed into her face and she began to quicken her pace as she got closer to the changing rooms bowing her head down into the rain.

Upon reaching the changing rooms she smiled at her new chaser quidditch robers and felt a sense of longing for her old keeper position and a sense of excitment at the same time with what might happen with her new position. She and her team mates had thought up many moves over the summer and it was time to reclaim the Ravenclaw title!

Getting changed and grabbing her broom Polly walked out onto the pitch to hear the roar of the crowd as she stepped out for a moment she let herself fall completly into their chearing before placing the cool wood in between her legs and kicking of.

The wind blew all around her body and she breathed in the sweet air around her. Looking for a position she placed herself in the center of the pitch casting a spell on her glasses she began to warm herself up doing spinning turns and broom bouncing where she moves her broom up and down in a quick motion in order to warm up.

[Slytherin Captain & Seeker]

Cat hopped out of bed, realizing that she needed to get to the pitch this morning. It was the beginning of term and already they had a match. She let out a sigh, noting that she should have had a bit more practice; the rest of the team also. She really needed to set up a practice date. Yeah they had won the Quidditch Cup last term, but that only meant everyone else would try even harder to beat Slytherin.

Before heading to her dresser she grabbed her wand and magically cleaned her hair and then tied it up in a ponytail. Her hair was getting a bit lengthy which meant she’d need to chop it all off sooner or later. Once she reached the dresser she picked up the Daily Prophet and let out a frustrated sigh at seeing the weather. She then set it down and glanced at a photo of her friends and her. She let out another sigh being reminded of how Kaylee looked as if she might not return this term, at least not for quidditch.

She grabbed her anti-wrinkle charmed robes and proceeded to one of the team’s chasers’, Gemma, bed. “Wakey wakey Muffin dear," She spoke in a slightly raised voice. “We got a game today.”

She then left the room and headed to the team’s locker room. There she changed into her robes and then put on her safety gear. Once all was done and ready she grabbed her new broom, a Firebolt 360, and headed out to the pitch. It was the perfect broom for those who played seeker and/or had to do quick turns and flips. Also it had a good handle to it and went from nought to 170, 20mph more than the original.

When she reached the pitch she quickly put a drying spell on her glasses and then security charm to keep them in place. She hopped on her broom before taking off and rising into the air. She saw two of the Slytherin chasers and the keeper already there and wondered for a second where the beaters were, but didn’t worry too much seeing as the balls had yet to be released. Also they had the Ravenclaws outnumbered by one chaser now and they didn’t have their beaters either.

She waited, hovered in the air, for whoever was referee this game to walk onto the rainy pitch and release the balls for the game to start. But of course she hoped that the beaters and chaser/co-captain would arrive before hand.

(Referee)

Amy flew onto the pitch of the first game of the season. The crate with the Quidditch balls was tucked beneath her arm, and she opened it to release the bludgers and snitch.

She tossed the Quaffle in the air and blew her whistle.

The game could start.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Violet smiled, listening to Etta. So, she had been told she wasn’t returning? She was so going to talk to someone about it later. She made note and smiled at the others arriving. She looked at Shadow, but said nothing. She saw Amy come out onto the field and she smiled, getting the chance to prove herself now. She watched Amy, growing annoyed. “Come on…” She whispered, excitement flooding her body. She smiled and at the whistle, she took off, grinning madly.

She speed towards the ball and felt happiness fill up in her as her hands curled around the ball. She smiled again and froze, not knowing what she should do now. “SHADOW!” Violet yelled, speeding towards her. “Game plan, you go one way and I go another. Dodge beaters and ignore the keeper. When time comes, we meet in the middle.” She mumbled, blinking against the water.

She nodded towards her and she flew to the right. Hoping Shadow had went left. She flew downwards, not looking around. She pulled up, turning in the air. She looked behind her, seeing if anyone was following. She wasn’t going to let anyone take the quaffle away from her. She had to make her Auntie Cat proud of her, seeing she could no longer be keeper.

She turned around and sighed. She signal for Shadow to come ahead and meet her in the middle, hoping she saw it. Violet flew to the middle and started shivering. “I’m going to be sick now…” She mumbled, shaking the water from her eyes again. She should have gotten her goggles but she didn’t. Now, she had to fly around in the rain with no goggles.

“I feel stupid.” She mumbled, squinting in the rain. She hoped to God it wouldn’t started lighting or anything, as she waited for Shadow. She started calculating which ways she and Shadow could go, while waiting. “Where’s Gemma…” Violet asked herself, looking around. She didn’t see her, so Violet shrugged, shaking again. “I could go that way…” She said, looking to the left. She had a plan in her head and had the feeling she wasn’t the only one to ever pull this before.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim woke up to the famous Muggle rocker Avril Lavigne singing her ever famous song "Girlfriend". She groaned and rolled out of bed. Pulling open the curtains she groaned again. It was raining. SHe could see her teammates already out on the field. She groaned a third time. A perfect match- she was already late to their pouring rain match....Great... she thought pulling on some jeans.

She grabbed her Firebolt broom and ran downstairs. SHe would miss half the game if she walked...should I? Am I allowed?, she thought. She jumped on her broom and flew carefully into the locker room. She threw on her robes and a pair of tenni shoes and walked down the hallway. SHe mumbled a few words to protest her robes and face from being soaked, so she could see.

Flying up into the air she could see Violet had the ball, she had obviously changed positions for her team. Nice, as if making a goal wasn't hard enough. Now I have to fight for the ball with her... Kim looked over to Polly, knowing that she had changed positions, she was now a Chaser also. Maybe she had already thought up a plan of attack. SHe flew over to her, frenzied.

((Slytherin Chaser))

Shadow blinked herself out of her little daydream involving a few of her enemies and hanging people off the Astronomy tower. She looked around and saw that Violet had the quaffle.
Oh, that's nice. She thought, and then a huge drop of water hit her smack on the nose. Shaking her head she wondered why she didn't have her bat, and then hit her head off her broomstick (who gave a small buck of annoyance. It didn't like being treated as a wall). She was a chaser... not a beater... a chaser. Get it into your titchy mind you eejit! She scolded herself as she urged her broom forwards to catch up with Violet.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)
(Yep, I've had such good behavior I get my dear ol' bat back!)

Elana, the neck of her robes pulled up over her head not doing much to deter the rain from getting down her shirt, sprinted into the locker room - well, skidding would be the more proper term for the way she haphazardly slid into the room. Luckily, she missed falling into the bench or the lockers. She quickly sat down and slipped off her squeaking shoes, and put on her sturdy Quidditch boots and blue and bronze Quidditch robes. She leaned back on the bench, trying to see out the door into the pitch. Unfortunately, she couldn't see the scoreboard from her poor vantage point, but she didn't think she had heard the ding or anything. But she was lucky no one had scored - being this late and back in team-protector position isn't that forgivable, especially if the other team had gotten points! She was glad to be back in her old position, though. Chaser had been fun to try out, but there was just something about being a Beater...

Grabbing her broom and bat from her locker and shoving in her muddy shoes and school robes, Elana let a grin show. Even though the weather wasn't exactly beautiful for the match, it was better to be out playing than stuck inside. At least, that's what she kept telling herself, even as she exited the locker room into the pouring rain. As she unstuck a foot from the mud to get on to her broom, she took stock of what was going on. The teams were about equal in number, but the Slytherins had the Quaffle, and she couldn't spot any other Beaters. That made her grin grow, and she sped into the air.

First things first - get a Bludger.

She raised the hand holding her bat to keep the rain out of her eyes, cursing herself for not getting a spell to do that before she got on the pitch. There was a Bludger zipping around in a wide arc above her...shooting down...

Before it hit her, she swung the bat, hitting it away from her with a spectacular twhack. She zoomed up to keep pace with it, and kept with it as she chased the two Slytherin Chasers. Once she was within range, she gave the Bludger a light tap to get it to a good height, and then swung back her arm. She hit the Bludger with a louder thwack than before, more of a THWACK than a little thwack, actually. She pulled up on her broom to get above them to see if it would hit or if she'd have to retrieve it and try again.

{Ravenclaw Keeper and Acting Co-Captain}

Rigby kept a close eye on the green uniforms, waiting for them to make a play. She took turns stretching out her arms, trying to keep her muscles loose and ready. She was grateful that a quaffle was easier to spot than a snitch, but she was still afraid of missing it.

She looped through her hoops, eyes never leaving the Slytherin players. Knowing how fast a play can start, she would have to stay on constant alert. Not that much different than her seeker role, really. Despite both the positions being part of the team, both keepers and seekers were mostly on their own. Someday maybe she'd be ready to be a beater or a chaser, but for now she was ready to defend against scoring. She would miss her golden snitch and the special relationship they had, but she was rather fond of her new hoops.

Rigby practiced her Broom Blocks, jerking hard on the broom handle to bring it violently to the right or the left. The move was to be used to deflect the quaffle away from the goals, hopefully re-direct it to one of her teammates. The move was an easy one, but it she yanked the handle too soon she could easily miss the quaffle. In practice she had done well, but what happened on the pitch today was the only thing that mattered.

(Ravenclaw Seeker)

Elladora hovered over the pithch listening to Etta's commentary, grinning at the 'itty bitty' comment. She smiled as Polly got onto the field and almost groaned as the Slytherin Seeker arrived. She would be competing against Cat. Elladora began tapping her feet together and she awaited the referee.

Amy stepped onto the field, releasing the Bludgers and the Snitch. The Quaffle was released and the game began.

Elladora immediately began searching for the faintest shimmer of gold. Her eyes went to every speck and her broom was reacting to the color. She knew she'd have to wait for her team to be up a few until she should catch it, but she loved having the walnut with wings in her grasp. Elladora quickly looked over the rest of the team and saw that Kim had arrived as well. Then, hearing it before seeing it, a Bludger had shot itself toward her.

As only one Beater was on the field, Elladora dodged it swiftly and made sure it wasn't going to attck again before continuing her search for the Snitch.

(Ravenclaw CHaser)

Kim squealed to see Elana emerge onto the pitch. She waved at her, then noticed the bat in her hand. Oh...yeah. That's right. She's an original Beater....forgot about that... She shrugged and hoped the other, new CHasers would suffice.

The ball was still in Snake hands, and Polly didn't have a gameplan, and neither did she. She never really did...but decided if she just sat there like a retard, it'd be worse than now. She sped forward towards the CHasers. SHe dove down and flew under them. Maybe if she could get Raavie Chaser to make Vi drop it....she thought out the plan and decided it was a go. She signaled to Polly.

(Ravenclaw chaser)

It took Polly a few moments before she realised she was being signalled to. Shaking her head she silently swore at herself knowing that she wanted to make a big impression on her first match as chaser.

Bending her body low Polly flew as fast as she could towards Violet tailing her now as the other teams chaser soared towards the Ravenclaw goal posts. Flying over the top of her Polly knew that Kim was ready now. They ahd practised the drop and grab technique many times and it was now Pollys time to try and make violet drop the quaffle so that Kim could get it before anyone knew what was happening.

Flying around violet Polly made grab attempts at the ball circling around her always trying to get her to drop the ball. She made her move for the drop and grab move and could only hope that after the long practises they had been through that Violet would drop the quaffle and Kim would get it.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Violet growled and glared. “STOP IT!” She yelled, flying up. She flew towards the goal and circled around Rigby. “Hola Chicka.” She said to her and then flew away for a good distance. “I would hate to drop this red ball, so this will take time.” She told her and flew back down, trying to get Shadow to follow her. When she figured she was a good distance near her, she started thinking of plans.

“Ok…we let them think I gave you the ball, shape your arm like it and fly that way. I hide the quaffle and you fly to the goals over there.” She said to Shadow, hoping she heard her. She pulled out and ‘threw’ the ball to her. Hoping the others were ditracted, Violet tucked the ball under her robes and flew behind Shadow, blocking for her.

[Slytherin Keeper]

Katherine hovered by the goal posts, watching the game before her. The slytherin chasers were doing a great job keeping the quaffle from the other team. She didn't have to do much right now.

Katherine did need to keep her eyes open though, and she knew that. At any moment, they could get near her and try to score. She flew back and forth a few times, welcoming the challange. The rain was getting a little annoying, hitting her glasses and fogging them up with her breath. She was so hyper, so full of energy, with no way to release it.

She watched Violet trying to get Shadows attention, and prayed for the best.

((Commentator))

Etta stretched her arms and sighed.

“Finally! The Ravenclaw chasers are on the pitch! Everyone say hello to Polly and Kim!” waits for the crowd to shout hello. “Oh aren't you all good little crowd members!” she added with a grin.

“Knock me down with a tractor! I think I've fainted! Elana is here!” shouted Etta, jumping up and pointing as the Ravenclaw ran onto the pitch. “Oh my god she has a bazooka! EVERYONE RUN!”

Just as Etta began to run for her life, she caught sight of the “Bazooka” and stopped. Bending down she picked up the microphone.

“Oops, my bad, only a beater's bat,” she said with a shaky chuckle.

“Oh look Polly is stalking Violet! On three now, one, two, three, awwwwwww,” cooed Etta.

“Wait who has the quaffle?” she asked suddenly watching Violet and Shadow.

“Hmm, not much happening I am afraid, oh lord my hair smells so good!” Etta declared. “Honestly Lucius Malfoy NEEDS to open his own shop and sell hair care products, if I've told him one, I've told him thousands of time!”

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Seeing the transaction from Violet to Shadow Polly nodded her head to Kim and sped after shadow. Tailing close behind her she glanced behind her to see Violet with the quaffle. Confusion swept over her and she jolted to a stop in the middle of the pitch looking from side to side.

Flying upwards she did a flip in mid air in order to look at both shadow and violet. In doing so she saw the buldge coming from under violets robes and sped back in violets direction urging her broom to move forwards every moment Polly only hoped that Kim still had her eye on the ball.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Violet cursed under her breath and stopped. She took a sharp right and flew down some. Coming back up to be by Shadow, she sighed. “Think of something…I got nothing.” She told her. She watched Polly out of her eye and flew towards the goal. She didn’t know if she should just try and make the goal or not. In mid thought, she pulled the quaffle from under her robes and looked at Rigby.

“Which way should I go?” She asked herself. She looked at the middle goal and changed her mind. She raised her hand back, the rain making it hard for her to do so. She made it look like she was going to throw at the right, but then threw to the left, hoping it made. If not, she was prepared to shoot forward and snatch the quaffle again.

“Why I gave up keeper, I will never know.” She whispered to herself, watching the ball twist in the air towards the goal she threw it at. She watched Polly again, sighing. She tried her best not to laugh at Etta but was finding it so hard to. She giggled slightly, waiting to either hear cheering Snakes and a ding or groans and cheering Ravies. “Come on..” she mumbled, her eyes full of wonder.

(Ravenclaw chaser)

Polly groaned as the quaffle flew towards the goal posts it was all down to the keeper now. Cursing under her breath she came to a stop just behind Violet and waited with anticipation to see if the quaffle would go in.

It seemed to move in slow motion, heading slightly to the left on an off but somewhat perfect angle and Polly knew that if the keeper wasent fast enough the quaffle would go in.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim was very confused. Polly had flew after the ball but then Violet switched positions and was now by the hoops. She threw the ball towards the hoop and kim groaned. She hoped maybe Polly's Keeper skills could come into play and stop the ball before it got into Keeper range....

Kim flew up to the side of Violet and watched. She glared at her and said,"Nice shot." She hoped that the ball would miss....

(Slytherin Chaser)

She smirked, watching the body go in slow motion. It was like all the emotions in her body had shut down. She had prayed the ball would go in. She wiped the rain from her brow and started shaking. She would actually cry on the feild of the ball didnt go in. She prayed that maybe Shadow would back her up and catch the ball if it would not go in.

She prayed it would go in and she felt tears go to her eyes. She wished the ball would hurry and go threw the goal. She felt her emotions coming back and her breathing started getting harder and faster. She felt her body go numb and she was sure she was having a panic attack. She put a hand on her chest and started counting to ten.

After a few seconds, she wiped her eyes and turned on her broom, flying up some. She was above the Ravie Chaser, waiting for the time to swoop down and catch the ball if the keeper caught it. She watched them all, praying to God it went threw.

{Ravenclaw Keeper and Action Co-Captain}

Rigby lifted one hand to wipe the rain from her forehead, only to see a quaffle flying in the direction of the hoop farthest from her.

Oh, no you don't, not in my first game as keeper, she thought furiously.

She flew after the quaffle, racing towards it as fast as she used to persue the snitch. She reached out, desperate to make contact, and sent the quaffle careening towards Polly.

Rigby opened her eyes, having squeezed them shut while she made her hit. A smile, wide and bright, stretched her face. She took the time to give herself a little pat on the back.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Violet felt the tears leak from her eyes and she flew downwards at the site of the ball heading towards Polly. She wiped her eyes, the tears making it hard to see. Just as the Quaffle went to Polly, Violet let go of her broom and grabbed it, making a sharp turn to herright and flying down under her. She hoped some of their beaters would get out there soon. Time was running out and she needed to score badly. She wasnt paying attention and she was hit by a bludger that was flying around. She grabbed her arm, trying not to let go of the quaffle.

She growled in pain and stopped her broom. She felt more tears in her eyes and she didnt care how much pain she was. She breathed deeply and waited for Shadow to catch up to her. "Please hurry and come..." She whispered. She was hoping to do her plan again, but this time, tweak it so they couldnt really know. She felt a smirk on her face and used her good hand to make her head back toward the goal post at a slow speed. She moved the quaffle, wincing at the pain in her hand.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim smiled and cheered at the wonderful block by Rigby. Only a Seeker could have caught that...she thought, smiling. The ball had been thrown to Polly but darn Violte had once again intervened the play. Kim growled and flew for Violet. She charged her with all her being and force, glaring from the wind and anger. SHe laid herself flat out on her broom as she charged. There was no way that she would loose the ball again.

(Ravenclaw Seeker)

Elladora scoped out the stadium, watching Violet's careful throw and Rigby's amazing save. She clapped in spite of her search and then resumed the hunt for the Snitch as Polly was now in possession of the Quaffle.

Elladora began to slowly circle the stadium and, just to add a little excitement to the game, decided to perform th Wronski Feint. Elladora continued scoping out the stadium, but then she shot her broom down to the ground just below Rigby's feet, hoping Cat would follow her. Perhaps a meter from the ground, she pulled up sharply and steadied herself.

She shook her head out, expelling some excess water and her ponytail bacame undone. She refrained from swearing and wiped her eyes on her sleeve. She was a bit shaken as her robes were holding a bit more water than usual and it was a bit more difficult to pull out of her dive. Still, she continued searched for the Snitch, allowing herself to be amused by Etta's commentary.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Polly silently cheared as Rigby stopped the quaffle going in balencing on her broom Polly opened her arms and waited for the quaffle to land in. Violet interviend and began to go into play with the quaffle.

Turning her broom the other way Polly began to follow Violet in an attempt to reclaim the quaffle. Once she reached her Polly put the blur attack into play. She began to quickly circle around Violet so she was in a blur spinning at the same time as circling she made a grab for the quaffle hoping that the quick movements would confuse the slytherin seeker and be enough to win. Polly felt the cool leather of the quaffle but was it enough to gain control of it?

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim smiled at Polly who was trying to confuse Violet. She decided to join in. They should call this move the Raven's Attack. Like birds flying around prey, ready for attack. They'd make her go crazy, hopefully. SHe started swirling around Violet making a whirlpool, in air. SHe started humming as her and Polly wove around the opposing Chaser. Hey, this is kinda fun, she thought. If it worked Violet would get mad and try and hit us, dropping the Quaffle or else try and get rid of it, by passing the ball to a fellow Chaser.

{Ravenclaw Keeper and Acting Co-Captain}

Rigby watched the tense play before her, hoping that polly and Kim would be able to steal the quaffle, she'd gotten lucky with that first save and wasn't sure her nerves were up for another goal attack. Her eyes followed the quick movements of the Slytherin and Ravenclaw chasers duking it out for possession of the quaffle. Her heart was beating fast, and she could hear the roar of the crowd. Rigby blocked it all out, concentrating on tracking the quaffle.

Come on, Ravens! Get it!

Despite her keen eyesight, Rigby couldn't tell whether or not Polly's power play was successful. Either her blue and bronze chasers would steal the quaffle, or else Rigby would have to pull another save out of her..., er, bottom.

(RAVENCLAW BEATER)

Elana let out a sigh of relief as Kate saved the Quaffle from going into the hoop. She saw two of the Ravenclaw Chasers crowding around Violet, and a play to help them came to mind. The Sparrow Scatter. They hadn't practiced it too much lately, but they should remember the gist of it. And, well, once they saw her with a Bludger coming towards them, they should get the idea. She began looking for a nearby Bludger to use, but there didn't seem to be any in the area where she was hovering. Spotting one of the black balls zooming around near the other end of the pitch, she took off to catch that one.

After a minute or two, the Bludger was in her possession and she was racing back to the Ravenclaw goals where the Chasers were clustered. She hit up the Bludger, raised her arm and yelled, "SPARROW SCATTER!" before hitting the Bludger. Her two Chasers would know to get out of the way, hopefully, leaving the Quaffle-bearing Slytherin Chaser to come face-to-face with a speeding Bludger. Not a nice position to be in, unless you're on the opposing team. She willed her teammates to get away and for the Bludger to stay true to the course she had sent it on, and waited for the thud of Bludger against body.

(Slytherin Chaser)

Violet glared, watching them. Why Shadow hadnt helped her, she would never know. She thanked her lucky stars for being Keeper last year and having fast moving power. She glared and ducked out of the tornado lokoing cycle, flying down towards the ground. She felt more pain in her arm and glared. Watching them, she smiled. "You two look funny." She mumbled, flying around them. Instead of going to the goal post, she stayed there, watching them. She heard the thud of a bat and bludger and looked behind her. Her eyes widen, but noticed the direction it was headed.

Violet yawned and sighed, wondering if they were going to get hit by one of their own team members. She flew back towards the goal post again and looked at Rigby. "Hola Chicka...miss me?" She asked, smiling. She used her good hand to help her throw, the rain making it harder. If this didnt make it, Shadow was going to be murdered for not helping her at all. She growled and made her broom do a 180 and she threw to the right this time, using all the strenght she could to do it.

"Go in...no way she could make it this time.." She mumbled to herself, grabbing her broken hand. She looked at it swelling up, knowing she should have just called times and went to get it checked. She watched the ball fly towards the right goal. She wiped the rain water from her brow, breathing hard. She had never did this much work and she wouldnt ever complain about the chaser complaing again, that was for sure. She looked about at Cat and sighed. "Lets hope she gets that..." She mumbled.
