The young beauty radiated into Jona's eyes as she held her daughter close in her arms as her eyes fell and she drifted away, falling asleep. Jona was amazed by the images her young child dreamt. Vibrant colors and the beautiful image of her mother and the thought of pure love filled Jona with joy. Ava loved the sound, the feel, and the smell of her mother.

Jona looked up to see if her friend had arrived. It was excruciating, waiting, even though she had all the time in the world to wait. The fire was lit in the corner of the den and the flashing off the T.V changed in color just as Ava's images that bounced around through her mind as she slept.

"Alice..." She muttered continuing to wait, and wait till she wasnt just alone with the child she loved. "Where are you?" Starting to tap her foot she hummed along to a melody of 'Silent Night'.

"Its not rude to keep asking me what you want to know! Go ahead... ask me directly." Jona said directly at Alice her eyes wide waiting.

"no its non of my buisness" Alice said and truely met it this time.

Jona frowned looking at the floor.
"Okay then..." She muttered in a dull, quiet tone.
She had nothing else to say and waited for Alice to start a fresh conversation.

Alice blinked rapiadly then looked at the ceiling curroisity eating her from the inside out she just wanted to ask and if she didnt jona would know anyway .
"how did you end up with Ava and i dont need the deatils" she said not exactly wanting to know exactly.

"It was way back when with some pirate..." Jona whispered looking out the foggy window and back at Ava now in her playpin sleeping on her back.

alice pondered this for a sec then spoke a lever louder then jonas voice.
"ok then" she said she had herd everything she wanted to know except for one thing.
"what was his name?" she asked quiter then normal.

Jona pondered over her moral plan to answer this hard yet easy question. What was his name? It was obvious she would know her daughters father but she bounced, could she play dumb? No, Alice wasnt stupid- she wanted to know and Jona should tell her. She sucked in a deep breath and held her tongue.

"Deeeee..." She started and winced, why was it so hard to say someone's name? "Deeeemeee-" Jona shuddered, too hard. She bit her lip and held her breath.

Alice sat patiantly waiting for Jona to finally explain.

"You could probably guess..." She mumbled looking at the floor with a look of worry on her face. She pouted and let go. Jona released her muscles and hopelessness now claimed her face. Why it is so hard!?

"ok well thanks' she said and gave her friend a hug.
"oh shoot" Alice yelled realizing something random.
"my rent is due today i guess i forgot to tell you i got my own house for the first time in like 150 years" she said laughing.

Jona grew angry inside. Is she really changing the topic? Jona didnt like Alice's question but she didnt like the thought of Alice changing the topic because Jona didnt like her answer. But still she laughed at her best friends random statement.
"So you got a house and you cant even remember when your rent is due?" She chuckeled and got back down to buissness.
"You still need an answer..." She sighed and took a deep breath holding it. "His name is Demitri Delecroix, an english pirate i met on the mainland."

"you didnt need to tell me and yes i am that mush of atard that i got a house and cant even remember the rent" she said giggaling slightly but couldnt imagine Jona of all people with an english pirate it was incoprehendable.

"I needed to tell you.. its not right for me not too." Jona partially smiled watching Alice's images of Jona and Demitri. It was frightening to see how her best friend protrayed the images. She had seen far worse, desturbing didnt make the final cut. Why was she so intimiadated by these recalled memories. Alice had ask Jona a question that for once she really didnt know the answer. 'If you've never been in love how do you have Ava?'

"it perfactly right i am your best friend not your scicoligest you can keep secrets its ok" she insisted watching ava who was now almost ready to wake up wich you could tell by her fidgeting.
"ava is about to wake up" she worned again trying to change the subject.

"Like I said, when you have something on your mind you dont have a choice, only when you are trully thinking about it which usually isnt the case. I know everything about you, its about time i give my share of secrets." Jona admited sighing.
"She will tell you when she wants to come out if she wakes up.."

"not true i have been working on bloking mind readers and i barley have to think and i dont really care if you feal obligated to listen to my thoughts i am putting them out there" she insisted.
"ok well i was just warning you" she said watching little ava.

Jona smiled, "Well even if I feel a friend should tell their friends their secrets they should know..." Jona looked back at ava who was twitching, causing her to laugh. She was ready to wake up, she walked over to her crib and gently picked her up.
"Baby.. come on.. wake up!" Jona said playfully.

Alice giggled thank goodness she was awake. Ava was the only person in the world who could brighten a mood better then her.

Jona laughed, "You not the only one who can brighten the mood!" She disagreed directing that statement to herself continueing to laugh. She calmed her smiled and looked down at Ava as she opened her eyes.
"Hi honey.."

"hi ava" she said playfully as she waved with one hadn flapping open and closed. she giggeled.

Jona laughed as she watched Alice play around with Ava as she woke up. Ava was quite fond of Alice, she was someone who made her laugh no matter what she did or how serious it was. She enjoyed hunting and had looked foward to hunting with Alice when she did. Ava was never afraid to smile or joke, like her mother and like Alice, free spirited and wild, calm and gentle.
"I have you know she wanted to hunt with you sometime... or you could always take her shopping." Jona suggested in a quiet tone.
"I wanted to tell her!" Ava pouted wrinkling her face. Her voice was just as clear and potent as her mother's.

"well you can still tell me i dont listen to your mom half the time anyway" she joked with her.

Ava laughed and Jona smiled looking at Alice, "Keep telling her that and she wont listen to me either!"
She protested laughing with her daughter who got a kick out of her hystarics.

"well what am i suppose to do about that she will always liten to you or atleast half the time" she said smiling while she chuckled quitly.

"I hope your right!" She laughed watching Ava run around on the floor.
"Alice... Do you know who Ava's father is… Have you ever met him? Does he sound familiar in any way?" Jona sighed, she was curious; she didn’t know if Stephaine had introduced him to her. Oh how she despised Stephaine. Jona was worried for her, traumatized by what happened in her past.

"i dont know maybe give me a day i will eather here about him by then or remeber eather way give it a day" she said watching Ava run but still looked up at Jona with a bright smile.
"i still dont get why you cant get along with Stephaine and try and sell me that whole oh we do get along but secretly inside you hate her" alice said folding her arms but unable to hold a straight face.

"well.. thats what I was going to talk to you about- i wondered if you knew him..." Jona whispered biting her lip.
"it was never a hatred, i am worried for her.. angry that she would even go near him.." Oh god did i just spill that.. Jona wanted to slap herself on the forehead. Now she knows stephaine has something to do with Demitri.

"chill Jona lets talk about something else like .... penguins eating ice cream.. sorry thats my rant for the week" Alice said giggaling at the thought.

"Ah now it wont be spontanious!" She complained laughing.

"i cant be spontanouse all the time" she said bolding her eyes.

"Sure you could..." She growled shifting her eyes away from Alice.

"i can not it takes alot of time and effort to be spontaniouse " she said as if it was the most abviouse thing on earth.

"And it takes even more effort for me not to listen while you struggle to be spontanious..." She rebounded partially laughing.

"wiat what" Alice said shaking her head.
"sorry blacked out there" she giggled as if it was the most normal thing in the world to happen to anybody.

Jona laughed. "Blacked out?" She continued to giggle. "Well if you want to black out on me go ahead, we have all the time in the world!"

"ya well i would love to but i would be giving ava the rong inpression" She said reminding Jona of her chiled.

Jona laughed and agreed, "Well no alot of things we do are bad for Ava."
She continued the smiles and went on, "And just for your information Ava is in my room on my bed. I know these things." She said pointing to her noggen.

"sure sure" Alice said giving up.
"so now what we have like 23 hours left in the day... we could always hang out at windys the whole time there open late" alice joked not knowing how to fix her bordum.

"Oh great wendy's..." Jona started to laugh, joining in with Alice.
"I guess we could always crash at Mc.Donalds just the same, and mabye if we have time BurgerKing!"

"ya ok well now what do you really want to do" laughing at Jonas fake enthusiasm to hang out at fast food franchises.

"Thats really up to you!" She insisted laughing. "And there is nothing wrong with Fast Food.. the only thing thats good is it would taste horable if we were vampire or not!" Jona said with a sarcastic and humorus voice.

"thats true" she said nodding in agreement.
"oh are you going to let me give you a makeover like complete what not to were makeover?" Alice asked with puppy dog eyes.

"I never said you couldnt." Jona explained, she grew silent thinking this one through. "Well.... what did you have in mind?"

"well i was thinking show you how to put on decent makeup highlights maybe alittle trim go through your clothes then go shopping" alice said nearly jumping out of her seat at the last word shopping.

Jona's ears caught to the word that made everyone woman happy, vampire or human. SHOPPING. The mall was heaven and your credit card was your passcard in to explore and love heaven to your full content. For Alice and Jona shopping was more. It was the expression and gratitiude of love between the two.
"Sounds like one mighty plan..." Jona said in a sly tone smiling a overly happy smile.

"yay" alice shouted overrun by gleam. She stood up.
"ok so makeup first" she said a smile spread across her . not only her face but her body language also showed off complete Joy.

Jona was laughing, joyful of her decision to spiffy herself up for a boy. For so long she rejected the idea of love. Never had it been in her life sense she was mortal. She would finnally find it again, where somewhere is lied, waiting for her.
"Okay what are we going for... smokey and sharp... soft and light... or a mix between the two?"

Alice was excited that Jona was taking a great deal of intrest in this.
"well i was thinking we could go for Jona" she said not telling her exactly what was to be expected.

"hmmm.." She grumbled contemplating what she, Jona, wanted.
"you need to help Jona find Jona."

"wich is exactly what this jona's makeover is all about i mean for the cute guy" she said correcting what she had told her friend. Alice oulled out a bunch of makeup.
"ok so first things first eyeliner i would go with a brown or gray due to your pale complection" she said like one of those instructional videos.
