The young beauty radiated into Jona's eyes as she held her daughter close in her arms as her eyes fell and she drifted away, falling asleep. Jona was amazed by the images her young child dreamt. Vibrant colors and the beautiful image of her mother and the thought of pure love filled Jona with joy. Ava loved the sound, the feel, and the smell of her mother.

Jona looked up to see if her friend had arrived. It was excruciating, waiting, even though she had all the time in the world to wait. The fire was lit in the corner of the den and the flashing off the T.V changed in color just as Ava's images that bounced around through her mind as she slept.

"Alice..." She muttered continuing to wait, and wait till she wasnt just alone with the child she loved. "Where are you?" Starting to tap her foot she hummed along to a melody of 'Silent Night'.

Jona quickly jumped on the bear and shouted, "Wow!!" Jona laughed putting her hands on her face like she was shocked. "Yummy.. Lets eat! You get first pick at it.."

"i call....neck and brain" she giggled.
"i'm an alien that way" she laughed thinking of all the movies were the alieans eat the human brains although this was not a human she found it funny.

"Ah come on! The brain is the best part... all the blood is rushed to the brain because the animals afraid!!" Jona pouted and stuck out her lip.

"hey you get the rest of the thing you can hve the belly and legs and other things excetera" Alice sudgested as they fought over the bear.

"Exactly my point! All that blood rushed to the brain while you were chasing it.." Jona scowled. "But if you MUST have the head you can and I will just pick off the rest."

"shank you" Alice said inecently as she smiled her normal hyper active smile. Her bangs have fallen out of her poneytail and she tucked it behind her ear.

Jona laughed and fixed her hair as well. She bared her long fangs and indulged them into the large beast's legs. She gasped for air so she could talk for a quick moment. "Were going for another in a minute and I want the brain!"

"deal" Alice said digging into the scull of the beast casually sucking its blood untill she lifted up and whipped her mouth with her dark purpple sleve.

"So Alice when are you going to find someone? Im sorry but face the facts Emmund is gone and I dont think he was your soul mate..." Jona asked and implying she should get back out on the feild. "Im sure there is someone out there!"

"well actully i met this one guy in my advanced postions class" Alice said twirling her hair at the thought of him.
"what about you you have been single for 250 years when are you going to find someone?" she asked in an odd tone.

Jona grew silent and cut her eye contact with Alice. She wondered and bounced up into the tree holding the truck tight as she balanced as if she was unsecure. Jona looked down and watched for her best friend’s reaction and waited for her to say something.

"I.... I just don’t know..." She coughed up loud enough for only Alice to hear.

"why?" she asked now curiuse about Jonas refusal to date anyone.

"Refuse to date?" Jona coughed repeting Alice's thoughts. "Now why must that always be the answer.. that I refuse too..."

"thats because you do you always refuse to its just the sad fact of your life" Alice comented blinking away from Jonas gaze.

Jona was silent for a moment but that didnt last long. "Well what ever... Ever sense Ava was born I've been alittle lonely... You're right I should go out and find someone!"

"ya you should and then i can babbysit her and it will all work out all we need is to find a guy for you i know just the one" Alice said her smile to big for her face.

Jona flinched at the sound of Alice's planned idea and "enlightening" tone of assurance toward this plan.
Why must she always do this?

"Alice I’m not the best at the dating 'thing'... Just having Ava surprises me..."
She cautioned her voice low and daunt.
Her warning was not the first though she never said she didn’t want to find someone.
Jona took a deep breath and contradicted herself.

"On the other hand this could be good for me, and Ava really likes you... So who is this guy you 'know'?"

"oh yay" alice said over excited.
"his name is Zane he is super hot funny hot nice hot" she said trying to discribe her dead boyfriends brother.

"Zane.." She muttered repeating his name.
"Like REALLY hot?!" She asked, curious, her voice playful and estatic.
She had missed the floating thought that flew through Alice's mind clueing her in on who he was.
How could she miss that he was her diceased boyfriend's brother?

"I'll do it.. but you have to promise to help me.. okay?"

"ok i promise" she said even though she would have helped just as eagerly if Jona hadnt asked her to.
"ok so we should go shopping and like get you a whole makeover it will be fun please" she insited just despratly wanting to go shopping and girl stuff like that.

Jona looked at Alice with a smirked and laughed,
"As much fun as a makeover and shopping sounds why do I need one?
Im beautiful already right?"
She remarked posing like a little girl for a picture, holding her hips and smiling.

"well you are but i just like doing makeovers and face it these old bones havnt gone shopping in a while so PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE!" Alice begged Jona.

"True... Its not like we grow out of our clothing or gain an extra pound from
that slice of pie you had at your sister's baby shower!" Jona laughed,
"Of course we can go shopping, its sounds fun..." She was silent for a second recalling several memories.
"Hey are you still banned from the mall or was that years ago?"

"That was in switzerland in like three lives ago" Alice said counting numbers in the air as she said it.
"keep up with the times" she joked she could barrely do it herself.

Jona laughed at Stephaine's joke inside the joke.
It was confusing to keep track of time,
especially when there was an unlimited amount of it.
She had caught herself and continued,
"Well maybe but im telling you those soldiers didnt have their V8 that morning!"

"wow Jona watching T.V lately?" she asked but couldnt help but laugh at the thought of it.

Jona grew silent, partially confused by what Alice meant by that.
She pouted and signaled the two of them to run back to the house.
"Do you want to go shopping or not?" She asked as she gained speed.
"I need to look good.. First impressions are everything with men.."

Ya ok lets go" Alice said giddy with excitement and ran off .
"race ya" were her words left there.

Jona put on a smirk and picked up speed.
She was never the fastest runner but the strongest of the pair.
She could easily catch up, beating Alice when she least expected it.
However she flew at a slow pace, odd..
what could be on her mind to throw her off balence.

She shook it off and arrived at the house in decent time,
no sight of Alice though she could have been inside,
admiring her precious Ava who should have been awake by now.

Alice snuck up behind jona even though she had beat her there. She quitly moved her footsteps not making a sound.
"BOO!" she said pushing Jona slightly.
"scared ya" Alice stated walking over to watch ava sleep.

Jona laughed as she pulled Alice's hood over her face.
She ran over toward Ava's crib and picked her up.
She slept content in her arms, Jona gave her over to Alice and pulled off her cloak.
"She is soooo precious." She said admiring her just as she imagined Alice would.
"I see why you would enjoy watching her while im dating..."

"ya she reminds me of my first family. my baby cusin alittle bit of me when i was young but she resembelse you so much" She said watching the baby girl sleep.

Jona laughed quietly trying not to wake her up.
"You think so?" She asked amazed that even Alice saw the resemblance.
"It will be several lifes before she grows up to be our size..." She sighed and walked over,
looking at a moving picture of Ava playing with a doll and several blocks.
Ava laughed in the picture causing Jona to smile.

"well that just means you get her for a babby that much longer" Alice whisperd and giggled slightly at the picture.

"And that just means you get to enjoy the ride with me."
She said continuing the speech pattern.
"I cant imagine it.." She whispered giggling.
"I mean could you imagine that looking like this?"
She asked point at Ava and at herself.

"yes yes i can and she is going to be just as great as you but wouldnt it be wierd to go to school with your own duaghter it would be alittle odd dont you think" Alice said imagineing how that would work but she was little now they didnt have to worry about it for a while.

Jona noted Alice's thoughts.
"Oh yes..." She agreed, her voice playful.
She laughed at the image of herself commenting on her baby's every move.
"And this is why vampires dont have children..."
She commented a strange grin on her face.
"Shes gunna go through living hell!"

"she will like going out with this one guy and sit at his table and then you would be like young lady get over here and be a reject like the rest of your family" Alice giggled the images flashing through her head.
"she wont be able to get away with anything" Alice added on thinking about it more.

"I’m going to baby her for longer than you think..." She admitted laughing at Alice's imaginations.
"And when are you going to find someone?... I cant imagine you being alone for much long." Jona continued her dish on Alice's love life. "I just think that because Emun died, it was Gods way of telling you he wasn’t your Adam."

"i think that it was god way of saying hay you disobayed me your screwed so the one adem ya poof he doesnt exist any more" She said joking as usale trying to keep the pain from hitting her.

Jona's eyes grew wide as Alice gave her connections of reality to god.
She quietly chuckled and commented laughter still under her voice.
"Haha, yeah well now that he's gone arent you lonelly?"
She asked quieting down and listening in on her thoughts to explain the emotions Jona missed to hear.

"i guessed but arnt you?" Alice asked changing the subject back onto Jona.

"I've never been in love... I dont expect to feel heartbroken or lonelly in any way. I would be nice to find someone but thats something different." She explained in a monotone. "Im talking about you, are you going to try again?"

"wait if you were never in love how did you have Ava then little miss?" she asked ignoring the question directed towards her she franquley did not want to deal with it.

Jona grew silent and turned her body. She didnt want to answer, didnt know what to answer. It was always so complicated.
"I... I..." She mumbled. She groaned and held her head in her hands as she sat down, moving her fingers through her hair.

"nevermind you dont have to tell me its ok" alice said trying to confort her sitting down beside her though Alice wanted to know it was for another time and she would find out eventully they dont keep many secrets from each other they never have and they never will.

"No.. no I know everything about you. Its time you know alittle something about me.. I just dont know what to say..." Jona whispered sitting closer to Alice. "My power at times tends to be alittle unfair."

you think alice thought being what stephaine would say.
"not exactly my power is unfair to i can make people go crazy we both have unfair advantages so you know its fine" alice said her comforting words hanging in the air.

Jona laughed and looked her in the eyes. "I dont really have a choice, if I ask you a question I will get my answer no matter if you want to tell me or not." She half smiled.

"not true if i really want to i can block you out of my mind face it its not an advantage" Alice said but secretly she wanted to tell her to stop changing the subject but she would never be that rude.
