Christmas Drabble Challenge

A drabble is a short piece of fiction 100 words long (no more or less that 10 either way)

Your challenge is to write a drabble based upon Christmas, or if you prefer, the winter holidays in some fashion. It must meet drabble requirements. The only other rule is that it must have the following line in bold!

"Purple hippos make great Santa's"

Dear Santa,

I know it might be a little odd that I would be writing to you after the holidays like so many other girls and boys do wishing for a great Christmas. You took the time to make me and my family a great Christmas until I realized something I should have my whole 7 years of living. Santa, you should pass the magic coat you wear on you back to someone more qualified to do the job. Christmas traditions need to be changed and a better system at the North Pole is in order! Mr. Clause, Purple hippos make great Santa's!

P.S Word of precaution, NEVER tickle a purple hippo…

Everyone's busy preparing for Purple Hippos' Annual Christmas Party. Every one were dressed in elves' costumes and the dine was set.

"Hey wait, I think something is missing," Shanon told Clover.

"What?" Clover asked.

"I'm not sure, yet," hardly thinking of everything Christmas-ish.

And then it struck her. "SANTA!" she exclaimed.

"Oh, we forgot to assign." Clover fret.

"I'll fix it!" Shanon desperately said and ran back to her room.

"Ho ho ho!"

Everyone turned heads towards where the sound come from. It's Shanon, dressed as Santa.

"Well, Purple hippos make great Santas," she giggled to her best friend Clover.

" that’s not how the song goes" Ava said.
"ok i will thing another thong"
" purpple hippos are coming to town they see you when your sleeping they know when your awake there abviously stalker so you better run your but away.." she sang twirling around.
"why did you make that song up?" Ava asked confused.
"because purpple Hippos make great santas" she said as if it was coman scence
"well you made me happy and isnt that what Chrismas is about" she giggled at her little sister.
