Battle.

It was at that moment, that exact moment. Jamie accepted his fate, he was going to die. He had been nieve about the whole process. Sure he was suposed to be immortal, only changes to his body could kill him now, old age was banished from his body along with his wholesome powers.

The wand pointed down on his face as he lay on the cold, damp ground. Jamie's eyes were no longer black, his face no longer screwed up in fury. He felt, and looked completely calm. He didn't know why he was there anymore or what he was doing. Just that death had finally came looking for him, and Jamie was going to go with death. Whether he wanted to or not, Jamie was going to go anyway.

Violet glared up at the man who had her arms pulled behind her back. No doubt another vampire. Otherwise she could have broke away from him. "Let me go..." She hissed, struggling to get away. No matter how much she tried, he just tighten his grip, growling softly. "Watch it Missy." he hissed in her ear.

He took of his hat with his free hand to wipe the sweat off his forehead while keeping his wand trained on the creature beneath him
''You have been weighed'' he said in a hoarse voice and put his hat back on
''you have been measured'' he spat out the bit of blood that filled his mouth
''and you have been found wanting''

he glanced up at one of his fellow hunters and at the girl he was holding before looking down once more and shoving his wand at the head a little harder
''any famous last words?''

Jamie face was still impassive. He was still prepared to walk into the light. Death obviously didn't come with a light sorce though, there was no pretty tunnel, decorated with flowers, no meadow for him to walk through. Nothing. Just calm, and a slight ring in his ear from a punch he'd recieved.

He couldn't hear anything else. The ring was getting louder and the fact that he was speaking where only obvious to Jamie because his lips were moving. The mans eyes moved a little, Jamie immediately knew who the man was looking at. Violet was here, he'd forgotton about her in the middle of the battle.
The battle Jamie thought. That was why he was here, in this situation. Jamie's anger returned and his arms stared to shake. He remembered this as one of his war traits. Everything suddenly came flooding back to him. He had to save Violet from this, whether she would need saving was another thing.

The wand dug a little further into his skul. This only egged Jamie on, it helped him gather his thoughts in that sharp little bubble where they were gathering slowly. Jamie turned his head to Violet, he could only look to see if she was ok. She seemed to be tied up, in the literal sense. Jamie on the other hand wasn't. It seemed the only restraint he needed was the threat of death.

Violet blew the hair from her face, looking at Jamie. Tears of anger filled her eyes and she tried to pull from him again. "LET ME THE HELL GO!" She yelled, only to be roughly pushed to the ground. When she landed, she felt a rip go threw her jeans and a jagged rock ripped her jeans. "Dammit." she hissed, trying to stop her blood from flowing.

as calm and still as the body under his wand had been only mere seconds ago as responsive it was now. he could feel it putting pressure against his wand and it started moving franticly

he wanted to shout at Bill to get a grip on his captive but a thud tolld him she wasn't being very cooperating at the moment

''watch it boys! we have live ones!'' he alerted the rest of his posse. He wanted them ready for anything, he had been doing this long enough to know it wasn't over till it was over and behind him.

he adjusted his stance slightly, preparing him for a possible attempt to restart the whole battle again

Jamie kept his eyes on Violet. The ring was disappearing from his ears, someone was talking. Probibly the man sticking the small stubby wand his his forehead.
"Urgh!" Jamie yelled grabbing the wand from the mans hands and trying to force it from his fingers."Ger'off me!"

Violet was about to get up, when a foot was placed on the small of her back. "No..you can watch your friend die." the man hissed form above her. Violet grabbed a hold of his ankle, twisting it. He growled at her, but she had already stood up, running towards Jamie. when she saw what he was doing, she ran towards the other man, pushing him with all her might.

He could see the moment it had decided to act, it was all just a matter of experience realy. he had seen enough turnabouts to get a feel of when it was coming. Things were about to get ugly again, better to steel himself for it

he felt the tug at his wand and it slipped a little before he could hold it a bit firmer
''Relashio'' he shouted hoping it would force it to release the hold on his wand

the next thing he knew he was knocked in the side and he tumbled over effectively freeing his wand
''Damn it Higgins!'' he cursed
