BIMS - Round 1 - HeadMaster's Choice - Voting

]Let's vote for the first round of the Best Icon Maker Standing. Please read how the voting works:

-In the following post, I will create a table with all the submitted icons.

-You then need to name three icons in your post: you must give two icons a positive vote, and one icon a negative vote.
You should also give a reason why - commenting on an aspect of the icon
you liked (for the positive votes) and what you felt could be better
(for the negative vote). This is to help icon makers in further rounds.

-Both
participants and non-participants can vote. Non-participants get 50
points for voting but participants are penalized for not voting.. Voting

-Participants CANNOT vote for their own icon.

-Please compare the icons to the original pictures before you vote. Many times you will say nothing is done because someone didn't change the image in a huge way, but a closer look will show you that they did.

Pos #2 - 5: bit too dark, but a great improvement from the rest of the bunch xD

Pos: 2 - Absolutely love this one. While at first you may wonder what's been done, it becomes very clear when you look at the original that the eyes have all been modified and I love it! Really nice job, and I love the cropping!
Pos: 1- Alright, I'm going with this one because I love love love Darren Criss and because I think it's coloring is least weird out of the others. Not sure how I feel about those sparkles though...

Neg: 5 - While I think this type of coloring would be cool for some pictures, it really does not add to the icon here...

Positive: 3- The colors/lighting were nicely modified to bring out his hotness and I like the words.

Positive: 4- It's a little green, but I like the contrast and the cropping

Negative: 5- I don't like the coloring, it almost makes her disappear too much into the rest of the picture, and she looks a little ill.

Positive Vote: Icon 2: Because there was obviously a lot of work put into it, especially the eyes. Overall, it is a strong icon.
Positive Vote: Icon 3: I'm not really a fan of the coloring or the words on the icon. However, it was a solid attempt, despite being a bit cookie-cutter.

Negative Vote: Icon 6: The coloring makes the image so dark that you can hardly see Angel and Buffy, which is highly unfortunate.

Positive for #3: I love the cropping and the typography. Although, I'm itching to stick a little more coloring on it. lol

Positive for #2: The cropping is fine, and though I personally do not buy the attempt in changing their eye color 'cause it's too "obvious" and they all look so dotty, this entry's coloring stood out of all entries for me.

Negative for #5: I don't like the coloring, I think it's sort of too pale? And it doesn't make Britney look better. Sorry. :/
