Round 2 - My Name is Alice

Welcome to the second round of Best Icon Maker Standing! As with all of the rounds in this competition, you are making only one icon, using the images provided below (pick one).

Rules:
-Create an icon using ONLY the image provided. Add no other images.
-You may add your own text, textures, colouring, brushes or patterns.
-Be as creative as possible.
-Icon must be 100x100 in size (including any borders!)
-No animation.

You have one month to send your icons to me by PM. Please upload them to
an image host which will not identify you, such as imageshack, tinypic
or servimg (not photobucket).

Positive Vote: Icon #3 - I like it's paint-like appearance, regardless if it's off-theme. xD I actually, even found it rather creative for choosing the rabbit as a subject than Alice. :3

Negative Vote: Icon #1 - I could've voted this for a positive but the photo isn't clear at all. Of course, one thing that'll make me vote for an avvie is if there is clarity in it. Then, maybe a bit of sharpness. Other than that, it was all good, actually.

Positive vote: #5 - the colours are nice and bright, and I like how the quote is relevant.

Positive: # 3 - I like the texture of the picture.

Negative: #1 - I don't enjoy how the images are all different like that, there's no sense of symmetry or harmony aesthetically. This is particularly due to the black and white image of her on the left - I don't understand the thinking behind it.

Positive Vote: # 6 - I like the colors. It's kind of dark but really nice.
Positive Vote: # 4 - I like the text used and also the blending of the picture.
Negative Vote: # 5- The sharpness is too much so I don't really like it.

Pos: #3 - I really like the way the colors are edited, and even though it's really simple, it looks awesome.

Pos: #6: I love how the editing makes the photo darker and the quote , though not directly related, fits in nicely with the graphic.

Neg: #1 - I don't like how there are multiple Alice's on there. I think it's a bit too busy with them all squeezed in there and the way each is edited differently throws the image off.

Positive vote: #1 - I like the thought put into it and the concept, I just wish one of the Alices wasn't black/white.
Positive vote: #3 - Simple and effective, although some text would have been nice to fit in with the round's theme.

Negative vote: #4 - I think the texture was unnecesary being Alice already faded and the font also puts me off a bit.

Negative vote: #1 Again, color and black and white don't go together unless the whole graphic is going to be colored.

Negative Vote: #1, because I just....don't get it.

Positive Vote 3: It was really quite nice of an icon. The effects are simple but brilliant.

Positive Vote 5: Nice colors on the icon and it really stands out from the others. Again, pretty simple in design but pleasing.

Negative Vote 4: It was just too much. You tried to do too much with the icon and it didn't turn out for the best. Maybe had the fading been different it would have helped.
