Hippogriff

Hmm . . . me as a hippogriff.

This was pretty interesting considering that I actually tied hippogriff, dragon, and centaur at 55% and had to do a tiebreaker question where I chose that I was more proud than protective of my family or wise.

As a result, I partially agree with the result partly because, since the percentage was 55%, about half, I did not agree with about half of the descriptions for a hippogriff. The descriptions that fit me were that I am proud and make friends for life. I am proud of who I am and what I've done and this has translated into a dominant personality trait. I like my moral standards, how I act, and what I have done. Sometimes, I think that if I did not achieve as much as I have, I would not be so prideful. Just one example is that this past spring I attended the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. However, I am not at all vain, so that part of the description doesn't fit. For me, it's all about the brains, not the beauty.

Futhermore, my friends are friends for life. When I make friends, I form deep bonds with them and keep in touch. As a result, I don't have as many friends as some, but the ones I have, I trust completely. However, the description of the hippogriff as not making friends easily doesn't completely translate onto me because I get along pretty well with people and could be considered to be 'friends' with a lot of people on a more shallow level.

The last part of the description is that I would like to be free and be able to fly. This description doesn't really fit me because I am someone who thrives on structure and the untamed, unorganized wild would not suit me at all. When I was younger, I often idealistically dreamed of a life living in the wild, but I've come to realize that I could not live without the comforts and responsibilities of today's society.

Hm, I was surprised when I got the Hippogriff. I agree with parts of its personality but disagree with other parts. For instance, I am proud- I take a lot of care in what I wear or what I look like. However, I am not so proud as to disagree with others' criticism of myself if the criticism is reasonably true- I know that as a human I have my faults and weaknesses. The results say that I "long to soar through the sky". I guess this is true, but not literally. I sometimes want more in life than what I'm probably going get, and often wonder what it would be like to be famous and such. The results also said I do not make friends easily- this is not very true, as I am a social person who tries hard to stay on people's good side. I think that the creature most true to who I am would be the centaur. They and I share the traits of stubborness, curiousity, and we both are confusing at times :D .

I am very protective over both my family and friends and would always put them before me (unless it means me missing charmed lol) I dont really long to be powerful, as such. I think I long to be loved rather than powerful, though I do often rush in head first to situations, especially arguments with my mum. It is always 'act now think later' when it comes to battles between me and my mum. Overall, it isnt a bad rating, and I like dragons so it is pretty good to my personality!

I am a Dragon and with good reason. I crave power and I have a lot of pride. I am strong and protective of my friends and will not take kindly to them being hurt. I can be your best friend or worst enemy and I can be intimidating as well as agile. I've always wanted to fly, and be able to show off my power. I get easily offended and I have to agree that this is just the creature I'd be. I also like the element of fire and would use it as my weapon to burn my enemies to a crisp. I am a fighter and I fight first and ask questions later. I enjoy making myself look good and making everyone aware of my awesome presence! I am powerful and greedy and at times down right grumpy. I have a thirst for adventure and excitement. I like to brag about myself and am prideful.Maybe I am consumed by arrogance at times and my power trips happen quite often. Flying up high and getting the drop on my prey would be quite interesting. And I do hold friendships sacred and once I am burned bad enough I tend to become rather irate and less tolerable of those who wrong me. I'm like a dragon in the sense that I go on the attack and let my mighty roar or yell, pierce the tranquil silence.

i disagree with the results because it is almost the complete oppsite of me. First of all i do not have a strond desire to live forever and i dont belive in reincarnation and rebirth. One thing i do agree with is that i do like to help people.

I quite agree with this result because of the following reasons. I am proud, yes, but I wouldn’t say I'm vain. Oh yes, most definitely I don't make friends easily. In fact, my school principal describes me as 'aloof'. I'm not that aloof, I'm just shy. But when I do make friends, I'll stick by them through suspensions and demerits. I do long to be free from my overbearing parents and annoying siblings. I even once wrote a poem about how I envy the birds because they are so free. Looking at these reasons, the Hippogriff fits me well and I am perfectly content with this result.

A hippogriff, interesting! I would have guessed I would have been more like a dragon, though there certainly are some aspects within the hippogriff characterisation that fits my personality, whilst other aspects which couldnt be furthest from the truth.

Being a proud person - I am extremely proud of my family, and proud to be a husband, yet I wouldn't say I was an overly proud person of myself.

Vain person - Not in the least. This is one aspect which is extremely far from the truth.

The friends aspect - As I am a very shy person, I do find it difficult to open up and make friends, though it is true to say, that when I make friends, I value these friendships highly and keep the friendships forever (unless of course something drastic happens, as i always put family before friends)

I long to be free - Free in one aspect, where I do not like being couped up, as I like to go out often, though I also feel that I am free, as I am married to my best friend.

So if I was to give this reading a mark, I would say that it is about 80% true to my character.

I think the results are appropriate; they are what I would have expected.

My temper, my craving for power (lol), my evilness – I would want to do harm to certain people *hem* Pavi *hem* (lol again – ask Elly) I also think the fact that I hoard anything precious – I am not selfish but I don’t let things go easily.

I think dragon suits me quite well but I don’t think a unicorn would. Other good matches would have been a hippogriff, possibly a phoenix but not a centaur.

When I read the description, I have to say that I agree with the result. Although I don't have a serious "strong interest in Divination" and I'm not really solitary, I do tend to keep with my own kind. Since I'm in marching band, most of my friends are in marching band as well. The same goes with the sorority (actually, all the marching band members that are in a social sorority are in the same one as me). I can be rash sometimes when I make decisions, depending on the decision. And I can also hold grudges for a long time as well.

Looking at the other creatures, I'd have to say that this was about as good a match as I was going to get. I have a couple traits from each creature (i.e. I'm protective of my family and friends like a dragon, but I like helping people like a phoenix). I think centaur bears more of my traits than the other creatures, however.

I am a Phoenix? I wasn't really expecting that lol. Well I do like that I am though. Phoenix are pretty birds and I have a strong belief in reincarnation so maybe that is why I am a phoenix. I do like to help people and I love making friends. But I am also really bossy sometimes and tend to get a tad bit out of sorts. I think I was looking more towards being a unicorn because I have a tranquil personality most of the time and I am a very sensitive person. I like the thought of being able to fly so I suppose that along with reincarnation showed me more of a phoenix. There are moments where I do have a tiny bit of pride lol but I try not to go around flaunting. I would rather have friends then be alone and I am quite protective of my family. At first I wasn't very sure if a phoenix was the right result for me but thinking about it now, I suppose it is. lol.

THis result surprised me. I thought I would be more like a dragon or phoenix. I usually make friends very easily but they are my friends for a very long time.I guess I'd like to fly around the sky. I t would be fun to have wings.

I agree with this result to a certain point, though I wasn't surprised at all. I am very protective of both my friends and family. I don't like letting harm come to anyone, especially those I care for. My friends call me a Nazi because of my love for being in control. And I do rush into things. But I don't necessarily not look at the whole picture. It just takes me a while to get there.
The second creature I'm most like was hippogriff and I think that suits me fairly well, but not as well as dragon. The same goes with my third creature, the centaur.

I think this is a great analogy because I feel that as a Gryffindor and a Leo, I am most suited to being a Phoenix. I firmly believe in reincarnation and I think it would be great if I would never die (although I might get lonely because I would outlive everyone in my generation). I want to be a paediatrician some day so it would be great to have healing tears…if only I were a phoenix…I also get really annoyed if people cheat of do anything that is immoral so I would be suited as a phoenix since they choose owners who are pure of heart and good (essentially).

My next animal would have been a hippogriff, which would be OK, but not as much as the phoenix, because I am very proud but I wouldn’t want to really hurt anyone if they just didn’t bow, or if they insulted me. A unicorn would be good because they are pure and they look gorgeous, but I think they are too pure for my taste: they need some mischief and some sparkle…and they are too much like horses, just like centaurs. I do like horses, but I don’t think I’d be a good one. Also, as a Centaur, living in a forest and being aloof all the time doesn’t interest me at all.

All in all, a phoenix would be a good magical creature for me to turn into!

· Do you agree with the result? I would believe so. I am more of a calm type person that tends to stay in the background rather than in the spotlight with the largely important things. My friends also say that I am the most innocent out of all of them because I am a home person, and I don't curse.
· What aspects of the creature do you think are carried across into your personality? Unicorns are very calm and shy. They are very powerful yet not everybody knows that because they are very quiet and subtle about their power.
I am quite satisfied with my result. I think it fit me quite well. I like the fact that it is very quiet and peaceful. Although I was also very close to the phoenix as well. I do want to help and heal people yet I think the majestic part is a bit off. Which is why it wasn't me.

No I really do not agree with the results. For one I am not vain. I sometimes doubt I have any beauty in my face to even consider being vain about it. I'm not really proud either. I'm more of a humble sort of person... I think. And I don't always don't make friends easily, but I agree they usually are for life except a few circumstances. And I do long to fly, wouldn't that be great with the wind in your face flying over water? The sun on your back then cascading into the water. And snow. I'm trying hard to think of things I have the same with this creature. I don't get offended very easily. But wait I've thought of it. I'm asumming when this creature makes friends, true friends, it trusts them. True trust. They can tell them any story, any dream, or any misgiving. That's me. I trust my friends wholly and incompletly sometimes to the inconvienience of me and them. I am very protective of my friends which is why when a certain one *coughs* Taylor *coughs* got a boyfriend, I've been watching him making sure he is doing everything right.

I believe I should have been a unicorn and the protective part of the dragon mixed together and a couple other things... Gosh I'm weird. Ok lets put it this way I am definetly a mix of a bunch of these creatures. Like a unicorn I'm kind and am usually quite mellow. I however don't mind being solitary, but I also like company too... And I do love helping others, when I can. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm a Gemini; I'm two people in one and I am a mix. But mostly I can't grant myself to one animal. I'll call myself a canteloupe and get over it. (which is a fruit by the way *shifty eyes*)

No, i do not argee with the result! How i became a hippogriff is a mystery. Since when am i vain? Or have trouble making friends? It's not true, i can make friends quickley which actually might be part of my problem. Also the longing to be free thing, not really. If i wanna be free i walk out of my house and no one will stop me i am free enough thanks.

Although the one thing that carries through and is actually me is the pride. I'm prideful, okay, I take pride in whatever i do and my pride is a little to big.

What do i think i should have been? I actually have no clue. I guess none of them really pin me at all. All of them are half true to me. So maybe i should just be an Amber.

Additional comments? Er- yeah, i think you should put person on there :D After all not all of us aer cut out to be magic creatures , as i just proved. By the way other than the you should put people on there i liked it alot :D
