What are you reading at the moment? I am reading a series of unfortunate events at the moment which is quite good!

I'm reading Atonement by Ian McEwan at the moment

A Song for Summer by Eva Ibbotson.

*sigh*

The sort of book that you simply KNOW will be tragic, because it's so lovely. And it WAS tragic, five times over. And it was gorgeous. I loved it.

A Suitable Boy, by Vikram Seth

Its actually really good and I am enjoying it muchly so far!

oh, you'll love it! it's a great book, and you'll just die to read the rest, believe me! :D

.. annd I'm starting "Bahnwaerter Thiel" ("Signalman Thiel") by Gehart Hauptmann... a book from the Naturalism, recommended by our German teacher (it's actually hers, she brought a couple of books and just lent them to us - she rocks :D) ... hmmm, wonder how it will be... she says the writer is one of the most important naturalist writers... :D

I am reading I Know What You Did Last Summer and it's very good.

I'm reading Order of the Phoenix for the gazillionth time!i need some new books.. lol

I've read Eclipse!!! :D annnnd it was sooo coool! <3 Edward! .. though the ending was a bit sad... but hey, it was predictable, somehow, sooo... yup, I loved the bookie! You know, I could barely do anything else xD

Annd now I'm reading "La Paradisul Femeilor" (in Romanian, but the original French title is "Au bonheur des femmes") by Emile Zola and I'm liking it up to now. There's this 20-years old girl who come with her two brothers to Paris and they live at their uncle's, who has a small shop just over the way of a big err.. kinda department store (well, not really but kinda..) and he is mad cause it's making him lose all his clients... but the girl wants to work there and it looks as if she's getting the job... anyhow, a story of contrast between tradition and the modern society at the turn of the century. Plus the girl is really nice and she's described like someone who has potential.. well, she's really shy at the begining but I'm curious how she'll develop... and I'm sensing a love story at the department store xD ... but that's just my guess, so I'll guess I'll just have to read on to find out for sure xD

Ooooh yeah, the Golden Compass is a great book! Hehe, the whole series is great! I'd love to reread it, but I need the second volume (had borrowed that one from a friend when I read it the first time xD)

and yup - I'm also excited for the movie!! :D

weee! :D I'm also reading Noughts and Crosses right now, finally got it! (after errr 4 months or so since it has been set for the book club XD)

I read the Alchemist!

...didn't like it that much though. it was very pointless.

Anyway...I finished a suitable boy which was crazy long and right now I'm reading nothing!!

I really wanna reread His Dark Materials but I cant find them anywhere...

I've finished Noughts and Crosses and I adored ittttt!! :D ... now I must look for Knife Edge and Checkmate, the last books of the trilogy xD

... but until I find them... well, I still have to read "Brave New World" for school ... and except for that I dunno... I might read "Fallen Angels" by Tracy Chevalier... or the second book by Emile Zola that I own - "Creation". I'm undecided xD

edit: about the Alchemist, Aliza... I thought that too.. I mean, maybe it had some hidden meaning and all and blabla but... I didn't get why everybody was so excited about that book xD

If I was in England I'd loan you them :D But I'm not, and they're here in France with me, so I can't

Re-read 'A certain slant of light' and I was much more impressed the second time around...perhaps because I didn't have the glowing expectations I did the first time around. Anyway, 'twas excellent indeed. *sigh*

other than that... at this very moment, I'm reading my geography notes... XD

"The Sweet Far Thing" is out on the 26th December, I believe.

I'm re-reading Anne of Ingleside, which is the 6th book in the Anne of Green Gables serie
