A dance was asked for so here you go! The first dance of Hogwarts!

Oh great now Ron has to dress up lol. Well he may just come in Fred or George's old dress robes. Ron isn't sure who to ask and even more worried at all of the rejections that he will get. He'll probably end up with just himself and the food. :pale: He's not good at asking for a date...

Oliver's even worst! I made him a student teacher at Hogwarts and in charge of Quidditch stuff. Will he go to the ball with a student or a teacher? Both would most likely make him feel weird..

(There are hardly any guys to go with! They must be skiving somewhere! Ron and Hermione aren't an item yet. Maybe...)

"Hey Ron? Will you go to the ball with me? I have nobody to go with and you're my only friend from the quidditch team who is going."

(Please say yes! If you don't then I'll have to ask Harry and Ginny might murder me if I do!)

I don't know what year oliver's in, but i think we should get the party started soon. That means we need dates. Demelza doesn't have anyone else and Oli doesn't either.

We could go because we got chatting about quidditch? he's a pro keeper, she's a amatuer chaser...

Good point! Well since its Quidditch then Oliver would love to go with you! We could discuss strategies!

Duel's over jen! What's oliver wearing?...We MUST be colour-coordinated, gushes demelza, all excited that she of all people was going to the ball. She had an older date...she couldn't go otherwise (redo of ginny at yule ball)

As for Oliver I think he'll be wearing a navy color so any type of blue for you is fine!

::Ron blinks rapidly:: "You want to go with me?"
::He gulps as he looks at her. But then he notices Oliver:: "Uh well sure if you aren't going with Wood then I would like to g-g-g-go with you if...uh...umm you want?" he stammers nervously::

::Katie skipped down the hall, and her eyes wandered around. She saw Ron and she lit up," Hey Ron!" she waved and ran over to him," How are you?" Katie said happily::

::Fred walked in and looked for his date. no sigh of her yet::

::Katie smiled at Ron and turned around. She smiled brightly when she saw Fred. Katie swayed towards him, waving to him shyly," Hi..Fred." she said nervously. Butterflied formed in her stomach::

::Freds gapped. She looked...GREAT! "Uh er....Hi Katie..." he said nervous also. "do you want to dance?"::

::Katie's cheeks turned pink and she giggled abit. She tried to choke out words, but then she was to nervous to. Katie gave him and smile and nodded a 'I'd love to'::

::Blaise walked over to Ginny:: "uh hi Gin," ::He muttered nervously:: "I was wondering if you would go with me to the ball"


(remember here guys that my blaise is not a girl, is not gay(eww), is not evil or mean, hes quite dosent talk much, jokes around, and hes a very hot italian mysterious hottie, and you know what I think I forgot to mention that hes HOTT.... well... also erm you can turn him down Ashes, if you do I think lilys still young, and she could always go with him haha)

"Ron, I already agreed to go with oliver...we were going to go as friends and talk about quidditch. I'm thinking of it as a career option...and I think Hermione wanted to go with you? (hermione is swift) Save me a dance, though! You do like dancing don't you?"

She walks up to Oliver and twirls around in her new outfit...her muggleborn mother had made it herself!

Katie turned and looked at Ron...he looked so lonely. She turned back to Fred and sighed,"..Fred, is that your little brother?" she asked::

::Ginny gave Blaise a quizical ((Cant spell!)) look:: "uh..you want to go with me?" (This was werid..Blaise...well..I dont have date...but..he is a Slytherin)

::Oliver gave Demelza an absentminded look.::

"It's nice," He said slowly, "So how fast can you fly?"

"yes" ::he studied her expression::

::Almost as timid as a mouse, Ron shuffles his feet over to Fred and Katie::

"Uh...Hi.":: he says as his ears and cheeks flush a little.:: "Uh...um K-Katie are...are you...I mean are you going to the Winter Ball with anyone?"

::He looks like a shy little school boy as he fidgets with his hands avoiding eye contact with her.:::

::Katie frowned and looked at Ron. He looked like a cute lost puppy. She sighed and brushed her bangs out of her face,"..Ron..I..I'm sorry, but I'm...I'm..going to the ball with Fred..but..I'll save a few dances for you, if thats okay?" she said, with hope in her eyes::

Romilda Vane nervously entered the room.

She looked around, hoping to see a guy, any guy, standing alone in the corridor.

She needed a date for the ball. She had everything: the dress, the make-up, the hair, the attitude (well, sorta), but not the guy.

She twisted a strand of her beautiful, long red, curly hair (different hair from the books) nervously as she looked around.

"I have a Comet 260, still but I can fly as fast as it can go...What kind of brooms do pro players have at the moment? I heard they were getting Firebolt 200s? I'd love to play pro! It's seems so exciting! How do you find it?" she gushed, taking Oliver's hand and taking him to sit at one of the tables.::

::Fred suddenly stops. "Yeah... You know what? I think I am gonna get my LITTLE brother a DATE!!!" Fred then walks over to Ron. "You know Ron, Luna dosent have a date. Or PANSY," Fred was about to blow at that one. "But i just thought I would say... You need to go out there. Girls are not just gonna walk right into you..." Right hten Luna walked over to rons tabble he was sitting at... Fred then whent back over to Katie. "Little Brothers," ::

Romilda sighed as she saw that absolutly no one was with out a partner (i 'm not saying that everyone liked their partners, but a few had been forced to dance together, lol). She walked over to the punch table.

She wasn't use to this- not having a guy- thing. Ever since she'd been banned from making love potions, she'd been misirible.

All of her friends had deserted her, since the only thing they ever wanted was her to make them love potions for them to give to their crushes.

And then the guys hated her because she was always slipping potions in their more coffee and pumpkin juice.

She was all alone.

::Oliver smiles excitedly as he sat down::

"Oh it's great! Well, the Puddlemeres aren't getting new brooms yet, we haven't been doing well." Oliver looked down for a moment. "But being a professional Quidditch layer is wonderful! There's nothing like do what you love for life!"

::she hadn't seen Harry anywhere..and didn't have a date..:: "Ok"

::Demelza shovels food into her mouth and asks,

"How long do you think you will be playing quidditch? Are there any chasers who are going to retire by the time i graduate?"

::Katie looked at Fred in surprise," Why would Ron want to go to the ball with Parkinson? Isn't she going with Malfoy?" she asked. She sighed and looked over at Ron, deciding who was the best to go with him. Katie was sure that Neville must've asked Luna to the ball. She decided the sit beside Ron and motioned for Fred to join her::

::Fred sat and woundered who Ron would go with::

(now now, just because Pansy is ugly doesn't mean you can mock her, pads.. xD)

"Oh, Ronald, I'd LOVE to go with you" Pansy squeals and smiled at fred who came to think of such a lovely idea. Turning towards fred, she gave him a hug. "Thank you for fixing me a date!" she said, hurrying to get to ron, who ran for the exit.

"Where are you going, ron? please come back!"

::Katie stared at Pansy, wide eyed. She was acting weird...she said she'd never wanna touch Ron," Hey, Parkinson, aren't you going with Malfoy this year?" Katie asked politely::

::Fred then starts to shake like mad."EWWWWWWWWWW!!!!" He then shakes even more before asking Katie to dance more. "Uh Katie just to tell you the pansy thing was a joke...::

::Katie sighed deeply and shook her head in disappointment," Okay then..I just hope Ron goes through this night without being clobbered." she stated.::

Romilda's eyes widened as she saw a lemon, a single lemon, sitting on the banquet table.

A lemon.

One lemon.

Romilda then remembered something-

One lemon, was the main ingredient needed to produce a very strong love potion.

A small grin crept onto her face. But then, her concionious (don't care how 2 spell that) appeared.

You can't do this! Think of the relationships you will be crashing, by messing with this! You decided to stop this! What about the pact to stop this! It's addicting, and you have to stop!

Romida rolled her eyes. Just one last potion: then she would quit.

So Rommy grabbed the lemon, and ran out of the room.[/i]

::Ron ran like a madman and hid behind Fred. "Fred! What have you fixed me up with!" ::He groaned.

Then he ducked behind his brother watching Pansy rushing past hoping she wouldn't see him. When he thought she was gone he punched Fred lightly in the shoulder.
"Is this your idea of a joke? Bloody hell, I can't go with that! Parkinson of all people?" He gasped looking quite disgusted by the whole idea.

(lol imagining ron hiding behind fred like that made me laugh!)
