Hmmmm...Good question :D

I don't think he'd ever become a Death Eater, but I don't believe that he'll ever be able to erase the hurt he did to the Weasley's, Molly espically. I mean, he's been so cold to them for so long and Scrimgeour (sp?) was only using him to get to Harry in the 6th book so that shows that Percy doesn't want contact with his family. I don't know. He may appologize, but Fred and George certaintly aren't ever going to forgive him, the rest I'm not sure. I don't like Percy, but I don't think he'll die or anything.
