| ::Amy walked into the duelling arena, slightly apprehensive at the thought of having to duel the reigning champion. She saw Ginny waiting on the other side of the arena, watching as she walked to her starting position.
"Ready?" Amy asked, and her opponant nodded.
::Amy took up her duelling stance, wand in her outstretched arm, and they bowed to each other. Then, quickly before Ginny could react, she sent off a quick volley of spells, rictumsempra, tallantallegra and a stinging hex. Yes, they were basic spells, but that was the trick - begin basic and lull the opponent into a false sense of security.
Seeing Ginny temporarily dealing with the hexes, Amy whispered "protego", which put a shield around her. She then muttered another spell, making the floor around Ginny slippery, so it would be harder for her to move from where she was standing.
She then waited for whatever Ginny's first line of attack would be.::

| (sorrysorrysorrysorry my internet died but I'm back with a vengeance!)
::Ginny ducked the rictumsempra spell, but was hit squarely in the stomach by tarantellegra. While trying to stop her spazzing feet, the stinging hex nearly hit her but thanks to some quick work by her feet, she was okay. That is...until she tripped over on the floor and was lying defenseless on the ground with her feet twitching.::
"Drat it Amy..." ::she mumbled, tightening her grip on her wand.:: "Finite incantatem!" ::she said sharply, pointing her wand at her feet. They stopped twitching, and she shakily stood. The floor around her was still extremely slippery. Her first instinct was to run across the floor to get closer to her opponent, but she decided to take a different method of attack.::
"Tränga igenom skydda! (Pierce the shield)" ::the red head focused as she sent red flash of light at Amy, hopefully shattering the shield she had on her. The red head then waved her wand in W motions first to the right, then to the left, while murmuring::
"Magnetisera!" (Magnetize) ::Her brown eyes glinting mischievously, she then performed the same motions-only this time her wand was pointing at the far wall.::
"Magnet på!" (Magnet on) ::Ginny giggled as Amy was quickly sent flying towards the wall. She then realized that her dearest duckly friend would get hurt on the impact, so she pointed her wand at the wall and said::
"Mjuk vägg!" (Soft wall) ::she saw the wall sag, as if becoming softer and felt satisfied now. But, just to be safe, she drew a circle around her in the slippery floor-nearly falling down twice of course-and said::
"Det magiska kvarteret cirklar," (Magic block circle) ::The circle would allow magic out, but would block most spells from coming in.::

| ::Amy felt herself being pulled against the wall, and dreaded the impact, but Ginny must have done something to make the wall soft, thank goodness.
She watched from the wall as Ginny performed a spell that Amy recognised as a magic block circle...only a few selected spells were able to get through those blocks.
But firstly, she had to get down from the wall. She tried to pull herself away from it, but of course, that didn't work. She then tried to think of how magnets were usually released, but her mind was a blank. Perhaps a simple anti-sticking charm would work? Well, it was worth a try.
She performed the anti-sticking charm, and to her surprise, began to slide down the wall. Before she could hit the floor, she shouted a cushioning charm and the floor became as soft as a pillow.
She then walked over towards where Ginny was waiting within her circle. Amy thought of the few spells that could pass the magic block circle...one of them being the bulle (bubble) charm, which pelted the opponent with bubbles. It was a silly charm, and hardly offensive, but it would break down the magic block circle leaving Ginny open for a new attack.
And so she cast the bulle charm and awaited the result.::

| ::Ginny was slightly surprised to see bubbles coming at her. She had complete faith in her shield, and reached out a hand to poke one. But...wait...Why are the bubbles in the shield?! Oh puffskeins, the shield is down! She silently cursed herself for relying too much on shields, she knew better than that. Ginny waved her wand in a triangular shape and said.::
"Estallido de la burbuja," (Bubble pop) ::Immediately, with a soft plip noise, all of the bubbles burst. She rounded on Amy, and thought for a moment. Her eyes landed on her wand arm, and a smirk spread across her lips.::
"Rompa el brazo de la varita," (Break the wand arm) ::The red head winced as she heard a crack signifying the breakage of Amy's arm. Immediately cast another spell.::
"Sin dolor, (Painless)" ::The spell relieved any pain Amy had felt in the few seconds after the spell had been put on her arm. The arm was still broken, but at least it didn't hurt anymore. Ginny didn't want to be too cruel. She then pointed her wand at Amy one last time and whispered.::
"Fantasma del pasado,"(Ghost of the past) ::A silvery mist wafted over to Amy. It was a spell Ginny had learnt from Jenn, when cast it brought back a ghost of your enemy's most terrifying memory, and it would follow them around for quite a while, until the spell had been difused.::

| ::Amy grinned as the bubbles penetrated Ginny's shield, but frowned when she saw Ginny send a spell towards her.
There was a sickening crack, and she felt her wand arm break. There was excruciating pain, until she heard Ginny whisper another spell, and then the pain was replaced by numbness. But her arm lay useless.
"Damn," she muttered under her breath, but then remembered she had taking beginners healer classes, and muttered a temporary bone-bonding spell. It wasn't perfect, but it would do for now.
She then saw a strange mist coming towards her, and was a little surprised as it took the form of Mrs Connibear, her primary school dinnerlady. She had a metal spoon in her hand, and her hedgehog hair was as scary as ever.
What the flip is going on Amy thought why has she conjured Mrs Connibear??
The ghostly dinnerlady was still advancing, and then she spoke.
"Seconds?"
Amy frowned. Now that wasn't so scary. Seconds were always good. But then Mrs Connibear began banging on a table with her metal spoon.
"Silence! Silence in the dining room!"
OK...this is getting more scary.. Amy thought, knowing only one thing that would make it worse...
"Fingers on your lips!"
And there it is She thought ironically, and decided it was time to get rid of the memory of Mrs Connibear. She took out her wand, held precariously in her still damaged arm, and muttered a spell.
"Elimini il passato!" (get rid of the past).
And Mrs Connibear disappeared with a poof.
Amy then turned around and wondered what she could do on the offensive, now that she had got the defensive out of the way. She decided distraction before destruction was always good, and cast three spells in quick succession towards Ginny.
"Pioggia! Vento! Fuoco!" (Rain, Wind, Fire)
Feeling slightly like a Captain Planet person, she grinned as those three elements appeared over and around Ginny. Good, that was distraction dealt with. Now for the destruction.
"mutanti della nerezza!" (mutants of the darkness) She shouted, and ten green mutants appeared, and began to surround Ginny. Amy then sent one of her favourite spells, the stinging hex towards Ginny, followed by a slashing hex, and waited to see what her opponent would do.::

| ::Ginny squeaked, Amy had some major reflexes...::
"Bloco do elemento," (Element block) ::She was pushed backwards about a foot from the force of the triple elemental blast. But at least she had gotten the block up just in time to keep her from getting wet, then frozen, and then burnt to a crisp. In that order, of course. Ginny turned around, and was very surprised to see all these mutants heading towards her.::
"Er...take it easy lads, there's plenty of me to go around!" ::Ginny said as she was backed up into a wall. The stone next to her was hit by the blast from the stinging hex-but so was one of the mutants, who had been lunging at her. He fell to the ground at her feet, and the red head grinned.::
"Accio mutant on the far left! Levitation!" ::She pointed her wand first at the mutant on the far left, who flew to her and took the slashing spell full on across the chest. Then, to avoid the flying mutant body parts, she levitated herself above the mutants until she was two feet above their heads.::
"Okay, so...what am I going to do with eight mutants....Oh, I know." ::Ginny waved her wand with ease and said.::
"Clóneme!" (clone me) ::She repeated this process until she had seven lovely clones of herself. She (They?) walked up to a mutant and chanted::
"Pelota de energía!" (energy ball) ::Instantaneously, all the mutants were blown up by a blue ball of crackling energy. Ginny(s) smiled and turned back to face Amy.::
"Don't think we forgot about you, Amy dear! Despida pelota!" ::From eight different directions, eight fireballs came zooming towards Amy. Her clones having exhausted themselves, Ginny watched as they each disappeared. She turned her wand on herself and thought as hard as she could.::
Intangibilidad! (Intangibility)" ::she felt her skin grow cold, and shook herself slightly, but wasn't able to rid herself of the feeling. Well...at least I know the spell worked The red head then got into a dueling stance, waiting for Amy's next move::
