The Hogwarts Bonfire Night Party

"You know, it's interesting." A voice came from beside Zexion. "No matter how many people there are about, you can always find one person seeking solitude." The boy looked down, grinning at the Slytherin.

"I'm Jimmy." He said, his thick Irish brogue travelling through to Zexion as his hand extended. "Now, what're you doing reading at a time like this?" He winked. "It's a party, don't you know?"

::Jenn started to drag Seamus in the direction of Drake and Elana. "Let's go disturb the lovely couple." She suggested with a laugh. "You should be used to me dragging you everywhere tonight."

At first, startled by the voice, Zexion jumps a bit. The short boy then stands up, to face him. He has a slight frown on his face

"Of course I know it's a party."

He concentrates hard on the boy, called Jimmy. Then, a hidden smile forms on his face.

He mumbles something, barely audible

"Hmm..Right then, "Jimmy". I'm Zexion."

He then adds, with a hint of sarcasm

"Simply /delighted/ to meet you."

"Shall we try that once more with feeling?" He laughed, slapping him on the back. "I know you're a Slytherin, and I'm a Ravenclaw...but dammit...it can work between us!" He winked again, his jocular tone betraying his words.

"So how abouts you come join us for a butterbeer and a laugh, pal?"

After Stephy climed out of the water she decided to go for walk by herself. She walked over towards the forest knowing that some feared it because of the many dangerous beasts hodden inside. Stephy walked slowly across the grounds thinking of many different things. Then she looks up into the sky and sees all of the pretty stars.
"So pretty" She wispered to herself

He speaks in an irritated tone

"Don't...touch..me."



Then crosses his arms

"Alright, fine then. Have it your way. I'll come.."Have a butterbeer and a laugh"."

Jimmy ruffled the boy's hair, in obvious disregard for what he'd said.

"Come on grumpy, there's no need to be maudlin." He smirked. "And though I'm sure you're very 'dark', and 'oh so morbid', try and interact eh? For your own sake if nothin' else!"

Zexion slaps Jimmy's hand away

"Insults now? That's no way to get someone to come with you."

He pauses

"I was hoping to spend the evening alone..but if you insist.."

stephy looked over at the bondfire and saw that it still wasnt lit.oh well she thought to herself as she continued her walk. Then she was Jimmy and another, must be a slytherin she thought. Jimmy shouldnt try to hard to try to interact with him if he dosnt want to stephy thought to herself. Stephy continued on spotted a browchukkle here and there that was lost form the others.

Dancing followed Stephy out of the water and to the edge of the unlit fire. "Damn it's cold,"

And she saw Jimmy talking to a strange short boy, with oddly blue hair.

"You giving him to tour," SHe asked Jimmy, Sarcasm tinting her voice. "And bent down to see into the boys eyes. "Who might you be," She asked in a mockingly sweet tone,

He looks straight back at her

Keeping his voice, steady, and serious. He replies

"Zexion...Everyone is so in your face here at Hogwarts."

Steps back a bit to be further away from her

"Face smace!" She clapped her hand on his back. "Were all a big happy family,"

Dancing reached for the young boy's hand. But he pulled away, She looked over his head and rolled her eyes at Jimmy.

"Well since your new, I'm Dancing or Sunset," She said in a older sisterly tone.

* skully got up from where she was sitting, near the water and went towards teh fire. stephy was taking a walk and sunset found a person to talk to. she was all alone. again. she sighed. she suddenly saw someone who seemed to be a newbie and went to meet her. *

"Y'ellow"

* she said and sat down beside her *

"Hi there. My name is skuldandy, but everyone calls me skully. I'm in gryffie and i'm a fourth grader - you're brunette, right?"

* she asked, while shaking the newbie's hand and smiling to make her feel welcomed at the HE *

An amused smirk forms on his face after she says "We're all one big happy family"

"Fascinating."

You can tell, by the look on his face, he was not to impressed with being touched..again

"Dancing?" Laughs to himself

"Did you make that name up? Or is it a title for yourself."

::Kitty walked outside onto the grounds. Seeing people she waved to them all::

"Hello everyone, it's a lovely night!"

He glances to Jimmy and think to himself "Well..I guess..it couldn't hurt."

"Alright fine..Lets go get this over with, Hmm?"

He crosses his arms, Glancing to Kitty. Then back to Dancing and Jimmy

"What exactly is there to /do/ at a party anyways? Seems like all you do is talk..and laugh."

Zexion puts a slightly amused smile on. Then says sarcasticly

"Sounds like /alot/ of fun."

Stephy looked up to see the new comer and noticed that it was a slytherin. Stephy decided that since she had nothing to do she might as well as try to make some new friends so she made her way over to Kitty.

"Hey my name's Stephy." she said as she held her hand out

Dancing felt suddenly hurt at his words,

"It's my name, for lack of a better one." She snapped she was so tempted to smack him, but fought the temptation. "If it bothers you so much call me Dani, eventhough that's proabally not better, your highness."

Dancing was so close to the delicate line that would break her sanity and this Zexion's safety.

While Stephy was talking to Kitty she looked over to see that dancing was glarring at Zexion that she decided that she should do something before dancing does something shed regret.

"Hey Dancing whats up?" she asked as she strode over to her

(Regret what I regret nothing mawhahahaa!)

Dancing turned to face Stephy and her clenched fists relaxed. "Hi Steph," She said. "Oh nothing I'm just so frustrated with this first year, he's. errrer grrr. so sarcastic. I don't know if I can take it."

"Then just walk away. Dont even try to talk to him, he clarly doesnt want to be bothered." Stephy told her. "You have better thing to do" she added hoping to calm her down

"What better is there to do," She said then whispered in Steph's ear. "Sides I like terriorizing the first years. It's satissfying."

Seeming slightly amused at her getting angry, from one small insult he lets a little chuckle and a grin out

"Your Highness?" Bursts out laughing at that


"Yeah, right."

"Dani..I suppose that's a tinge better. I always thought "Dancing" was a sport. Not a name.."

Almost, sensing her temptation, he takes another step back

"It's just my opinion. Don't take it to personally.."

Turning back to the short Wizard Dancing said. "Yes it's a sport soemthing I'm quiet good at. It's really a nickname Dancing is, but Dani is worse. Seeing as it's almost a guys name. But beggars, or anybody for that matter, can't be chosers."

"Well what kind of a name is Zexion?" Stephy asked. she hated bullying and name calling. Youd think that they would have better things to do she thought to herself

He shrugs at Stephy


"I don't know. I'd never be able to ask."

Pauses

"And as "Dancing" said herself. Beggers can't be Choosers.."


Seems to try and get on her good side. Then says, unsarcasticly,

"You said, your other name was "Sunset". Did you? Mind if I call you.."Sunny"?"

"See you dont have to be sarcastic all of the time" Stephy said when she noticed that he was trying not to sound sarcastic.

"Oh go ahead," Dancing said surpirised. No one called her sunny except Ginny but that was on occasion. "I think this party needs some...life." Dancing said and pulled out her wand.

It was a little late to break the ice with Zexion, she basically crushed the ice but she could still be friendly.

"Butterbeer?" She said conjuering up three bottles and placing her wand back in her cloak.

"Why not" Stephy yelled out and grabed a bottle. "Someone needs to get around to lighting up the bonfire" Stephy said looking at the pile of wood

Raises a brow at Stephy then says

"Obviously."

Looking to Sunset, he shakes his head at the offer

"Think I'll pass.."


Slumps back down, leaning against the tree, opening his book again

(Agg don't remind me about wood I had to lift like logs bigger than me today, and i wasn't even getting payed. Parent's are so cheap.)

Dancing took a sip of her butterbeer and took out her wand again. "Maybe we should lit it," She suggested.

"Why not i dont see the harm in that" Stephy then stood back as dancing lit the fire

For once, he decides he'd rather not be alone tonight. Getting back up, he walks over to Sunset

"Light what? The butterbeer?"

Frowns

"Wouldn't it..explode."

"No, the bonfire. If you havent noticed it hasnt been lit" Stephy remarked

"No silly the fire," She held out her wand and aimed a flame charm at it. It burst into flames and she smiled. "This 'party' needs some music too." She looked at the others, "Any suggestions?"

"Umm, how about greenday" Stephy suggested. "I like that band there really good" she added

Being wrong, his cheeks become a very faint pink

"Oh..."

Looking up to Sunset, almost having to tilt his head up completely he shrugs at her comment about music

"No rap..no hip hop..or pop. That horrible noise drives me insane."

"Or Country for that matter.."

"Well then what do you want to listen to." Stephy asked him.

"I can agree with you on country," She kaughed. "Rock sounds good. prefer pop but..." Dancing looked for a boom box when she found it she put in a mixed CD. Greendays song 'hoilday' started to play.

"I love this song" Stephy shouted out over the noise. Stephy then had started to dance

He faces her then laughs

"You've probably never even heard of anyone of the songs or bands I would suggest.."

"I suppose..hmm..Three Days Grace or Disturbed as far as bands go. Songs? Yakusoku no Chi or..Standing on my own."

"I like Three Days Grace and Disturbed theyre really good bands. I dont know the other two tho" Stephy had told Zexion

"Who?" Dancing asked. She'd never heard of any of the things Zexion was talking about. "From the hall arise," Dancing sand along and danced next to Stephy.

He smirks

"I didn't think you would."

"Greenday..They're alright..I was never allowed to listen to them back at 'home'."

"Wht not" Stephy asked but kept on dancng. She was having blast now that the party had started

"The woman thought they were to whiney, and her husband didn't like anything other then Trailer music."

Not to interested in dancing, he takes a few steps back, to allow the girls more room to dance.

"Whoa!" Dancing stopped dancing.(lol) "Never listened to Green day?!" it almost seemed like the world stopped turing for a bit. "WHY?"

"That would suck. Im allowed to listen to just about anything so long as there isnt too many cuse words or sex crap in it." Stephy said still not beliving that he wasnt allowed to listen to it.

He repeats himself

"The people at my house didn't like them..The woman, Jenee, thought they were to whiney and the man, Drogan,...he doesn't like anything besides silence, or chanting music."

"What a shame." Stephy says now stopping dancing. "Oh well what ya gonna do" she said
