The Winter Ball

"Anyone want to dance?" She asked.

He puts on a suave grin. "You couldn't stop me. Have a song request?"

He shrugs, nods getting up

"Alright.."

Glances to where Sandy ran out

"Somebody to love~queen. Its a cool song" Dani said.

Thinks to himself, "Or not.."

"I'll go check on..uh..Sandy."

Walks out

Sandy was still crying and pitting herself.

oddie enter the ball room and saw a few people that she knew. Oddie didnt really like dances and didnt know why she even came to this one. Oddie took a second glance and saw the refreshments table and decided that she would get a drink.

"Actually.."

He turns around, walking away, till he's out of Sandy's earshot

"I don't feel like cheering anyone up."

Goes back to the table. Glaring at Vale

From where Dani is, she can see Vale wandering up to the DJ, going from looking somewhat polite, to rudely tapping his foot, to downright shouting at him. Finally, the DJ roots through his music with a grumble and finds the requested one. Queen starts blaring out of the speakers. He walks back up to her.

"Ready?" He asks, offering her his hand again.

//I would have danced with you but Vale asked first.\\

"Yes I'm ready," She said taking his offered hand.

Oddie saw that Sandy was crying and went up to her and asked "Whats wrong, why are you crying." she said softly to the girl

"..." Turns out, to go find Sandy

"Hey..What's up..Why're you crying?"

"It's nothing i'm just srewing up my life." Sandy said suddenly in a calm voice. then she burst into a freash set of tears. "Just-hic leav-hic me-me alone!" She finally shouted.

Dani put her arms around his neck, it was more a slow song than anythin else.

"Are you sure you want to be alone." Oddie asked hopping that she was overdoing it. "Whats wrong" She asked again

"Alright, alright..Sheesh.."

Walks away

Sees the two of them, twitches, then walks back to Sandy, sitting down beside her

"You aren't screwing up your life..It's just a dance.."

'No worries, this should be fine.' He thought to himself. He put his hands on her waist and followed her steps.

"This song's pretty good, nice choice." Said Vale calmly, looking her in the eyes.

Dani stared back at him, "It's my favorite song," She said smiling.

She stared at Zex suddenly, wishing that he didn't look at her like that

Sighs

"I guess, if you're not gunna say anything. We'll just sit here."

Glances back into the Great Hall, twitching again

A contented sigh escapes his lips. "I've never done this before, so you'll have to forgive me if I screw up, heh." He says with a little chuckle.

It was very confussing. was he playing with her? she didn't even want to know. she just stared at him. deep into his eyes

"Your fogiven," She said, and leaned forward and kissed him.

Oddie finding the dance just as she had perditced decided that she should go and find something that would interest her. She slowly made her way back to the freshment and took another drink trying to think of something to do.

Was looking into the Greathall, spotting the kiss, Widens his mouth and eyes.

"Well..I'm gunna..go for a bit, be back later."

"Wait" Sandy finally said

Gets up

"What?"

"Um why did you come after me?" Sandy said looking at her hands.

Oddie decided that she might as well as go outside and enjoy the seneray. She slowly made her way over to the doors that led outside. Once she was outside she looked around for a spot to sit and found non so she decided to sit on the concret floor. She sat there with her arms around her knees just thinking

"Because you were crying?"

Dani broke the kiss and smile, "How Ironic." She muttered and kissed him again.

"Why would you care if just some radom person that you met was crying?"

Is still facing the greathall, Winces, seeing another kiss..Twitches as well

"Because, you're a friend, aren't you?"

"Besides..its almost instinct to go cheer someone up."

Puts on a fake smirk and walks off

Sandy muttered to herself, 'i thought so.' Then decided weather or not it was a good ideal to kill herself.

"Actually.."

Turns around, heading for the entrance of the great hall. Takes a seat at the table and stares at the table.

He takes his lips from hers for a moment, speaking in a friendly tone: "Didn't know you could use such big words." He teased.

"There's a lot of things you don't know," She whispered.

"Hummm i wonder wich one will end my misrable life the fastest." Sandy thought out loud, as milloin of spells went through her head.

"Oh?" He whispers back lightly, his low voice barely audible. "Maybe I need a hint."

He himself hadn't realized he could be this way to others, especially from other houses. Right now though, he didn't care. He pushed the thought from his mind with ease, and continued to dance in beat with Dani.

Dani stumbled back and watched in horror as the two slytherins fought.

Vale doubles over from the suprizingly strong blow, still managing to keep on his feet. He groans, then looks up at Zexion angrily.

"What the hell's gotten into you?!"

Sandy watched the guys fight over Dani then walked over to the table and picked up a knife. "I wonder where it would hurt the most." She thought again aloud. Then thought about all the places on her body of where she could kill herself.

"What the hell's gotten into /me/?! What the hell's gotten into /YOU/! You KNOW I like her, You can just /tell/..From that stupid smirk of yours, grinning, you KNEW it would drive me off the wall! Grrrr, just f*** off!!"

Takes a step forward and kicks him

Dani still dazed turned and saw Sandy pick up a knife. "Oh my god," She ran over to her cousin and tackled her. "Damn it Sandy what do you think you are doing?"

"I'm thinking about killing myself." She smiled, "You want to do it too? It should end all the misary their is in life."
