The Winter Ball

Sandy sighed with relief. "Well ok well i'm fine guys...so um..."

Walks past the two girls and takes a seat on one of the couches

Pulls out a book and reads

"How long have you three been awake?"

"Aww, just forget it, Sandy." He says with a shrug. "We aren't mad. No real harm came of it."

"A long long time, I've been like a night owl." Dani said. "We stayed up until 4."

Sandy was still blushing, "Well thank goodness i didn't hurt anyone other wise i wouldn't of forgiven myself."

"Yikes. I was wiped, just went to bed right away." He says with a yawn, and rubs his eyes. He decides to take a seat on the couch as well.

Sandy looked around feeling weird, she usually always had something to do. but decided to sit down and read a book she was working on.

Coughs, closing the book. Looking to Vale, after Sandy says "Thank god I didn't hurt anyone"

"Yeah..About that."

"Sorry, Vale."

Puts it in his bag

Dani looked around the room not really looking at anything. She smiled at Vale and closed her eyes hummoing.

Sandy looked at the two of them, 'oh ya the fight.' she thought, then quickly pushed it aside, looking around franticly trying to go something. 'I gotta do something, but i don't know what!' she was panicing

Blinks at Sandy's sudden outburst


"Okay.."



Glances to Dani

Vale turns his gaze to Zexion and crosses his arms.

"I guess I can forgive you this time. Just this once, though!"

He grins and ruffles Zexi's hair, knowing he hates it.

"Sure is a good thing you're nice and small though, otherwise I may have gotten hurt."

Dani noticed that Sandy was anxinous. "Here Sand, do some knitting." She tossed her a bal of yarn.

Rolls his eyes, fixing his hair

"I hate you so much."

Sandy quickly started knitting, doing almost a whole row in 2 minutes. 'I had to keep my mind off of it.' she thought to herself. continuing to knit

Dani laughed, boys were always doing the weirdest things.

"I guess we should go back to the great hall." She said.

He shrugs

"Would it still even be going on? The ball, I mean."

Gets up from the couch, and goes to stand by the door

"Yeah it goes on forever," Dani said following.

"Great! Breakfast should be ready soon anyways, if not now. I'm starved."

"I can't believe you're already hungry."

Looks to Sandy

"Are you going to come?"

The four of them left to eat and again dance.

Sandy stopped, Zex had talked to her, and she was stunned, but finally she found her voice. "Um sure why not?"

Dani followed Vale to a table laden with food and got some french toast and eggs and covered it all in syrup.

Dani followed the two boys a table and sat across from Vale.

"Good morning everyone," She smiled digging into her food.

Sandy looked at the table full of food, but then saw the knife, "um.. i don't think i'm that hungry." She turned away from the food and looked at the dancers, wishing that she could dance with someone and just forget last night.

She glanced as the couples just mindlessly danced around the room.

Dani ate moderatly fast she was extreamly hugry. Haveing not eaten anything th previous day.

Politely eats half his pancake, and pushes his plate infront of him, waiting for it to vanish

He yawns

Then coughs

"So..Dani, Vale, just wanna make things clear..You two are 'going out' now. Right?"

Traci went to go eat and saw dani she walked over to her "hi" she said "do you mind if i sit qwith you guys"

Sandy was actuall hungry, when she spotted an apple, there was no knife near it so she went over and picked it up. Joyfully she bit into it savoring the taste. then sat back down to enjoy her apple.

Dani almost dropped her fork, "God I don't know." Looks to Vale, with aquestioning look on her face.

Vale gives the newcomer a little nod and a wave, then turns his attention to Zexion and his akward question.

"Well... Uh... Are we?" He looks at Dani.

"Um...yes, I guess." She said dropping her gaze.

"Hi traci, sure you can join us."

Traci felt awkward "not to intrude but what happened last night dani evrything i told you it just got worse" she said thinking back to where she had come from

Sandy smiled at the new couple. "Well maybe i won't have to baby-sit you any more Dani if you got yourself a boyfriend to look after ya!" she smiled playfully evil.

Decides he won't be bitter about it..Right now anyways.

"Pssh, Dani's going to be looking after Vale, more then he will be to her!"

Sighs and his plate vanishes

Dani playfully punched her cousin.

"What happened Traci, how could it get worse?"

"What??" He exclaims at Zexi "Pssh, I don't need someone looking after me like a baby."

The song changes to "Pink Rose"

'Well,' he sighs 'I guess I might as well..considering Dani is going out with Spikey.' Zexion gets up from his seat.

"Sandy..You wanna dance?"

Holds his hand out

Dani smiled faded to a frown. "Why do you guys always think I need someone to look after me?" She said.

Sandy gaved him an amused look, "are you sure, i've seen your reputation Vale and let me say, the teachers could have a laibrey full of stuff that you've done. And i not saying that that's a good thing." She riased her eyebrow. "Ya Zec let's dance while the newly two love birds decid what to do. And don't worry Dani i'll always keep an eye on you."

"Again, I don't need you to babysit me," Dani said as the two walked away. She smiled at Vale. "Do you want to dance?"

Pulls her to the dance floor.

"This is more of a hip hop song."

Puts his arms around her waist and fast dances with her

Sandy laughed, "Dani do you know how many times i've gotten you out of trouble?"

"Of course!" He gets out of his seat. "Ladies first, of course." He says with a small grin.

Dani got up with a smile on her face. "Lets dance then." she said.

She decides to ignore Sandy's comment.
