5th House Quidditch: HUFFLEPUFF V SLYTHERIN: 31st - 4th

(Slytherin Chaser)

With a bright smile on her face, Jessie skipped and froliced her way onto the nice big Quidditch pitch. "Oh wait-" she said, realizing that skipping and frolicing were very un-Slytherin. "Ahem." She coughed, changing her posture to one of control. With a sneer no in place on her face, she strode out to the middle of the pitch, straddled her broom, and shot off into the air. Once high enough, she began doing a couple warm-up laps to get herself pumped, seeing as no one was here yet.

After a couple laps around the pitch she shrugged and said to herself. "Hmm... My teammates shall be here soon, no doubt about that... maybe I should go seek out my beloved quaffle-y, atleast to see if that mark I made last game is still there..." Looking around, she saw the quaffle being tossed into play... even with only one player! "Ah-ha!" She shouted, speading after the big red quaffle. Soon, she had got up with it, and it was safely tucked under her arm. Turning the ball over and over again in her hands, she finally found the small black sharpie mark she had made in the game against Ravenclaw. "Whew, at least now I know that it's always the same quaffle." She said to herself. "Now... where is that twinny of mine..."

(slytherin keeper)

Cat walked to the pitch with her medium-length, black hair pulled back into a messy ponytail. This was Cat's third quiditch game and it was against hufflepuff. She didn't know how well they played, but was determined to win no matter how good they were.

Cat fastened on her gloves and hopped onto her broom. She saw Jessie was their and waved. Cat flew to her position in front of the goal posts ready if any hufflepuff managed to get the ball from one of her teammates. Jesse currently had the quaffle in hand, so Cat watched so it didnt leave her sight. If for one second she looks away she might miss where it goes and it might end up making a score against slytherin.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy ran onto the field as quickly as she could. She was quite excited about playing the Hufflepuffs this game and she was excited about the few changes she had made to the team for this anticipated match. She quickly mounted her broom and kicked off hard from the ground and shot up into the air quickly. Her long blonde hair was flowing behind her and her Slytherin robes were billowing in the crisp night breeze. A smile quickly formed on her face as she saw there was already a member up on the pitch and that member was wearing Slytherin quidditch robes. "Twinny!" She sang cheerfully. "So glad you could make it! Put your best sneer on and fight with all you have!"

Nancy then noticed Jessie had the quaffle and she turned her broom fast to fly along side her. Nancy would be ready for when Jessie passed her the quaffle, that is, if she could dare to part with it. Jessie had a great fondess for the quaffle and got her hands on it as much as she could. "Slytherin shake!" Nancy yelled to Jessie and hoped she would hear her.

{Slytherin Seeker}

Valerie slumped out onto the pitch. 'Sheesh...Could be playing my Wii, but Nooooo there just had to be a quidditch game!' she thought to herself, while pulling her blonde hair into a small ponytail, brown roots were beginning to show at the top, and the coppery pink parts looked like fire against the brown.

'Oh well, I missed the last quidditch game. They're going to kick me out if I don't show enough!' that thought perked her up a bit. She loved quidditch, too.

She ran and jumped onto her broom and flew straight to Nancy and Jessie.

"Heeeyyaaa ladies!" She said quite cheerfully. This was a new position for her, she was a seeker rather then a beater now. Just as well, less injuries...Hopefully.

"Should I bother waiting for the other teams seeker to get here before I start looking? Or should I just start???" She asked, perky and bubbly.

(Hufflepuffs Devoted Chaser)-don't forget to put your housename and postion

::Dancing looked around before leaping onto her broom, "Now this is a first," she muttered to herself, "Where is everyone else?" She saw a few sltherin players and Jessie waiting for a hufflepuff teammate before any goals she made counted for acctual points.

::She grinned and zipped up under Jessie and punched the qwaffle though her arms. As the Qwaffle soomed though the air Dani spun after it and caught it neatly in her arm. She laughed at the look on her Nuna's face, but she was soon near the slytherin goals.

::Throwing hard she watched as Cat blocked her shot, Dani Sunset grimanced and waited for Cat to throw the ball back into play.

Cat had blocked Dani's attempt at scoring. Cat looked around the field for Nancy and Jesse.

She eventually spotted Nancy and threw the quaffle back into play in her direction.

(erm...is it just me, or are all those dates a bit off? ^^)

streams strode onto the pitch, her broomstick in one hand and her beater's bat in the other. Throwing one leg over her broomstick, she took off with a slight jerk as a rough wind battered her at exactly that moment. Slightly worried about the wind, streams expertly turned her broomstick, swooping over to Dani and winking at her.

Then she hefted her bat in her hands, eyeing a bludger that was zooming around near the huffie goalposts. Keeping her gaze slightly unfocused so that she should be able to see everything at once, streams shot towards the bludger, hoping to cause some slythie injuries as soon as possible.

{Slytherin Seeker}

Val gasped when she saw Dani, completely forgetting they were in the middle of a game.

"Daaaannniiii-chaaaaan!" She shouted, zooming over to her and hugging her nearly to death.

After releasing her from her hug, she glanced around, realizing where they were.

"Uhm...Whoops." Val said embarrassedly, flying back over to Nancy and Jessie.

(Hufflepuffs shocked Chaser)

::Dani laughed, "Nice to see you to Val," She hugged her friend back. She smiled "Well I have to go kick slytherin's tail,"

::She zoomed off and intercepted the qwaffle that had been thrown at Nancy, cackling she did a loop-de-loop and went back for slytherins goals. She took a longer time to aim and threw the qwaffle through the left goal hoop and hearing the familar ding she knew she had made 10 points.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Why is nothing happening? streams thought to herself, confused as to why everyone was just sitting around like lame ducks on their broomsticks.

She finally caught up with a bludger and juggled it in the air, bouncing it off her beater's bat. Her wrists flexing, she let it hang in the air for a moment as she drew back and suddenly spun her broomstick with the trademark Badgie Spin the same time as she hit the bludger as hard as she could. The combined result was that instead of the bludger soaring straight ahead, it veered towards the left, heading straight for Nancy, the unsuspecting Slythie chaser and captain. Streams watched as the bludger drew closer and closer and still Nancy didn't notice it coming.::

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPTAIN AND CHASER)

Nancy sneered at Dani when she saw her intercept the quaffle and scored a goal for the Hufflepuff team. She looked at Jessie. "We need to get the Slytherin drive going." She turned her broom hard and dashed out into the middle of the pitch and waited for the quaffle to get thrown back into play.

She saw the Hufflepuff keeper throw the quaffle and Nancy leaned forward on her broom as far as she could. She picked her speed up quickly and passed a Hufflepuff chaser on her quest to retrieve the quaffle. She gripped her broom tightly with her legs and reached both hands out and grabbed the quaffle with the ends of her fingertips. An instant smile spread across her lips and she tucked the quaffle neatly into the crook of her right arm. She pulled her broom hard with her left arm and turned herself around so she was now facing the Hufflepuff hoops. She glanced to her right and saw a bludger heading straight towards her thrown by Streams. Luckily sharp eyes and quick reflexes alloed her to pull to the right quickly and she flew out of it's path just in time. She then spotted Jessie and she hollered to her. "Twist of fate!" She gave her a quick smile and then shouted "follow me."

After several feet of flying Nancy shoted "now!" and watched above her as she saw her Twinny get in the right position, directly above her, and nancy reched her hands up, holding the quaffle and passed it to Jessie. "Take her home!" She sang happily and flew after Jessie at full speeds.

(Slytherin Chaser)

“Woahhhhhh buddy!” Jessie said to herself as she rebalanced herself on her broom. Zoning out during a quidditch game, on a broom, is not good. “Quaffle, Oh quaffle, where for art thou quaffle…” She said. After getting her balance on her broom again, she looked around the pitch and saw Nancy gain possession of the dear quaffle. After hearing her shout Twist of Fate! and Follow me! Jessie grabbed hold of her broom and got ready for the play. Quickly, she zoomed upward and flew directly above Nancy. This was a fun play, simple, but fun.

Now! She heard Nancy shout. Jessie leaned over so far she was almost laying down on her broom, and stretched her arms downward to grasp the quaffle. “There you are!” she said to the quaffle. Once it was safely in her arms, she zoomed forward towards the Hufflepuff goal posts. As she mad her way there, she never took her eyes off their keeper. Along the way she performed a few impressing corkscrews and twists. “Almost there…” She said to herself as she neared the goals. She was heading straight towards the center hoop. “And… NOW!” She shouted for herself. Sharply, she pulled hard to the left and shot the quaffle straight through the left hoop. “Wooooohoooooo!!!” She cheered.

{Slytherin Seeker}

"Heeere Snitchy Snitchy SNITCHY!" Val shouted while soaring through the sky, top speed like a bullet. She could feel the water gather in her eyes, and decided to slow down, knowing she'd have a better chance seeing it if she was at a normal speed.

Val flew over to Nancy and Jessie and waved.

"Good job you two! Go! Go! Slytherin!" She cried. Her keen eyes peered through the pitch.

"Ah ha! There you are!" She shouted when her blue gaze caught sight of the Snitch

Zooming towards it, she clasped her hands around it. Opening up her hands, to see if it was there, she noticed, that it had zoomed off in a different direction already.

"Bloody little thing!" She shouted, zooming after it.

Cat smiled as Nancy made a goal. Her eyes glanced to Nancy who seemed to be having trouble catching the snitch. Her eyes then went back to the quaffle that was waiting to be thrown back in. She kept her eyes glued on the ball she wouldnt lose track of it.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Dani grabbed the qwaffle that their Keeper threw back into play. She did a side swipe past Nancy and zipped off to the Slytherin goals. "How qwaffle how thy fair pelt grazes through those golden hoops." She said and dived down close to the ground waitting for a signal from Jenn.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

Running out of the locker room with her yellow quidditch robes barely fastened correctly, Jenn sprinted out to the field. Panting a bit, she muttered to herself. “I’m late, I’m late, I’m so so late.” Feeling like the white rabbit from the Muggle movie Alice and Wonderland, she swept the dark air over her shoulder as she didn’t want to waste any time looking for a hair tie in her dorm.

Hopping on her broomstick, Jenn scanned the field for her other teammates. She smiled when she spotted Dancing flying near the ground with the quaffle safely in her hands. However, her smile faltered as she watched a bludger heading straight for her chaser at a fast speed. Jenn flew beneath Dancing and whistled for her teammate to pass her the quaffle and dodge the bludger.

(SLYTHERIN CO-CAPT. AND CHASER)

Nancy spotted Dani now in posession of the quaffle and she decided to play on an idea. She flew quickly over to Dani and flew beside her, turning her neck to the left so she could see Dani eye to eye. "Hello." She said in a cheerful voice and then Nancy reached both hands out to her left and wrapped her fingers around the quaffle in Dani's posession. She tugged and tugged at the quaffle a bit roughly until finally she was able to free it from Dani's grip. "Thanks!" She shouted happily and turned her room around fast.

She quickly sped towards the Hufflepuff hoops, scanning the pitch desperately with her green eyes looking for another chaser from her team. It had been a slow match as so many of the players had been busy. After several minutes she didn't see anyone so she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Nancy leaned to the right and gripped her broom hard with her legs. She began twisting in a barrelroll fasion slowly and first and then faster and faster. She was picking up good speed now as she barrelrolloed closer and closer to the center hoop. She slowly slowed herself down and then dropped her altitude a bit. She was hoping one of her fellow Slytrherins so she could pass them the quaffle.
