Holiday Match: C.E.L.F. V The HE Scrooges - 29th - 31st

HE Scrooge's Beater

::prinny saw that nancy had been saved, she was glad that she was ok but couldnt help thinking that it would've been easier had she not been. (i'm sorry nancy!!) as a bludger went rocketing toward etta she quickly intecepted it and hit it toward lily's broom. the ball hit the end of her broom sending her spinning::

Nancy was greatful to see her dearest friend Lily was coming to save her. What a great friend she was. She smiled at Lily. "So, what's new?" She asked her jokingly as Lily caught her. She jumped on to Lily's broom and together they flew to get her firebolt back. She hopped onto her own broom and smiled. "Thanks Lily! I love you!" She looked at Lily and listened to her pep talk about showing them what we can do.

All of a sudden a bludger came out of nowhere and hit Lily's broom sending her spinning around! Nancy knew what to do. They had practiced this at their special place with Jenn and Jimmy. She flew underneath Prinny and whacked a bludger twards Lily as hard as she could. "Jingle Bell ROCK!" She screamed and smiled as she knew the plan they had been working on is previous days was sure to work!

::Still circling the goalposts, Amy wondered how Lily had saved Nancy from getting hit by the Whomping Willow when she'd already ploughed into it.

She looked out over the pitch and waited for someone to make the next move.::

::prinny watched as beneath her nancy hit a bludger toward Lily, the girl was obviously confused! laughing she continued to scan the pitch for bludgers.::

Nancy smiled as their plan was working beautifully. She sang Jingle Bell rock on her broom and waited for her next move. She stayed hovered underneath Prinny.

She made eye contact with Lily and when the bludger was sent back her way she hit it with all the might she had upwards and watched as the bludger slammed into Prinny's broom hard. "Take that!" Nancy screamed and watched as Prinny's broom was totally messed up! it was acting out of control!

::Etta noticed Prinny spinning out of control and swooped down on her, grabbing her robes until she stopped spinning and then flew up towards Marie, chasing the approaching Bludger, reaching her fellow Queen just in time to push her out of the way and catch the Quaffle.::
"They call e Superwoman," Etta sang as she sped towards the goals Scoring yet again.::

"thanx ettie!"

::she needed to get her own back on nancy and so flew after her. she needed lisa's help to be most effective but until then she whacked a bludger at nancy. it hit her in the back of the neck::

Nancy watched as Lily nodded to her and she knew what to do. She wound her bat up and belted a bludger twards Etta. She watched as Lily did the same and she waited to see who's bludger would hit first. Just then a bludger hit by Prinny hit her hard in the neck. It stung hard. It was one heck of a hit!

::seeing what nancy and lily were doing she flew up to protect ettie. as both bludgers came flying toward them she hit them both at nancy. one by one they hit her in the stomach::

"ouch. thats gotta hurt!"

Nancy was hit hard by Prinny's bludger and was knocked off her broom. She fell twards the ground in a hurry. She was in pain and hoped someone would catch her before she hit the ground.

::prinny saw that nancy was falling. she wanted to save her friend but the need to win overcame that. (i sound like such a freak!) one down, 6 more to go she thought to herself. i like being a beater...you get to whack people without being told off or feeling bad::

::choosing Lily as her next target she waited for a good opportuniy::

Marie flew around the pitch. She was very lost as she hadn't seen most of the stuff that had just happened and couldn'T work out who had the quaffle right now.

::Etta llooked at Mimi.

"The Quaffle its coming bk into play!" she shouted from the other end of the pitch. "Catch it!"

(CELF Chaser)

::Jenn saw the quaffle get thrown back into play and sped off to try to intercept it before the other team did. As her fingers wrapped around the quaffle, she gave an apologetic smile to her Badger teammates and swung the broomstick around to head toward their goal.::

::Looping around various players, she took carful aim and tossed the quaffle at the right goal as she waved her arm at Nancy to knock the bludger as they practiced.::

::Amy saw jenn lining up to score, and got into position. As Jenn launched the Quaffle, she flew around the right goal and caught it, before throwing it back into play at her fellow chasers.::

"Thanks Amy!" said Marie with a large grin as she caught the quaffle.

She tucked it safely under her arm and waved at Jenn - she was still her badger girl after all - as she made her way to the other end of the pitch, waiting to see if there was another team mate around to do something and looking out for her opponents.

(CELF beater)

Nancy followed Jenns lead and grabbed a bludger. She aimed carefully at the quaffle and swung her bat hard. Just then she noticed the quaffle was in the other teams hand. "How did that happen?" She yelled and changed direction hitting a bludger at Marie.

(C.E.L.F Chaser)

Noticing Marie had the quaffle, and the bludger Nancy was was sending her way Jessie quickly dove down and hovered beneath Marie, hoping that she would drop the quaffle upon impact, and Jessie could catch it.

(HE Scrooges Chaser)

"CHEERS!" Ettie shouted over her shoulder as she hurried to the goal and sent the ball flying through the centre hoop scoring.::

(HE Scrooge Chaser)

"Now that was... special," she said as the quaffle was thrown back into the game.

She caught it and went as high as possible in the air before diving back down fast toward the hoops. As she was inches away from them she threw the quaffle into the center hoop and shrieked as she herself went through the left one, diving to the ground and hitting it though not too roughly.

"Ow... hey does that give bonus points?" she asked

Jessie laughed as Marie went through the hoop herself but quickly saw that the quaffle was being thrown back into play. Taking note that the quaffle was going to the left she quickly soared in the same direction, the ball falling neatly into her arms. "Jenn!" She shouted as she tossed the ball over her shoulder to her fellow Chaser.

::Etta intercepted the Quaffle from Jessie to Jenn and raced to the goals once more, sending it flying into the gol::

(CELF Beater)

Nancy could not believe that Etta intercepted the quaffle. "We can't get any plays in at all!" She hissed and swung her bat wildly and sent a bludger at Etta.

(Celf Chaser)

::Jenn caught the quaffle neatly as it was thrown into play and started coughing to hide her amusement as she spotted Elfie and her...er...little mishap. :D "Hmm...thats why we don't let her on the field." Jenn joked as she tucked the quaffle under her arm with a big grin.::

::Flying toward the goals once more, she spotted a bludger heading right her way and slid upside down to pass the quaffle neatly to Jessie who was flying right underneath her.::

:Etta grinned as she caught the quaffle and headed bk to the goals, this time doing a figure eight and passing the quaffle to Marie.::

Nancy was shocked to have the headmistress fall into her arms. Lucky for Elfie Nancy's reflexes were quite good. She looked into Elfies eyes while she held her and gripped her broom tightly in her legs. "Elfie! Are you quite OK?" Nancy asked quite worried about her dear friend.

(He scrooges chaser)


Marie grinned as she caught the quaffle but then it slipped from her hands.

"Not again!" she cried.

She kicked it up with her feet but it didn't go high enough so she kicked it again, getting the same result. After a minute she was still doing that.

"Okay is this soccer or quidditch?" she mumbled, annoyed.

She kicked it hard and finally caught it.

"Finally!"

Smiling she zoomed toward the goals, going from one side to another so that the keeper couldn't predict where she was going to goal. Just as she was getting to the middle hoop she stopped abruptly and threw the quaffle back at Etta.

"Go!"

:Etta saluted Marie as she caught the quaffle and lobbed it through the right goal.::

(Celf Chaser)

::Jenn swooped up from underneath and grabbed the quaffle as it was being thrown into play. Balancing it by her stomach, she waved at Etta and Marie with a smile before grabbing her broomstick to jerk the broomstick hard over her head.::

::Flying toward the goalposts, she spotted Amy guarding the goals as though it was her baby. Taking careful aim, Jenn tossed it straight toward the left hoop as she waited for Nancy to continue the play.::

Nancy saw Jenn with the quaffle and took flight with Elfie still in tow. "Hang on Elfie!" She yelled and the 2 of them dashed to cover Jenn. Nancy put her beaters bat in elfies hand and swung her arm with all her might to knock a bludger twards any oncomming opposing teammmates. "Sorry Elfie, I have to clear the way for Jenn and Jessie!"

(Celf Chaser)

::Jenn blew her bangs out of her eyes and flew toward the center of the field. Glancing around she saw the quaffle get thrown into play and she scrambled to get to it in time. As the quaffle flew through the air, Jenn kicked the quaffle up with her foot and caught it with her right hand. “And to think I couldn’t play tag football at Muggle school.” She muttered to herself.::

::Looking around, she spotted Jessie on the other end of the field and tossed the quaffle straight into the air. Spinning her broom, she tail kicked it across the field straight into Jessie’s arms.::

::Flying to Elfie, Jenn grinned and pulled out some pink nail polish. “Can I fix up your head hand Elfie? Please…” She said with a slight pout as she leaned up to look at her hand which now resembled a big squishy blob.::

(CELF Chaser)

"Yes!" Jessie said to herself as she caught the quaffle. She quickly zoomed across the pitch to the Scrooge's goal posts. While their keeper seemed to be distracted by Jenn's attempt to polish Elfie's nails she tossed the ball into the right hoop.

(CELF Chaser/nail polish therapist)

::Pulling Elfie back down, she balanced the nail polish in one hand. Jenn stuck her tongue of of her mouth as she struggled to keep the floating Elfie still. "Now....just one more pinky if you would just keep still..." She muttered as she accidentally spilled the pink nail polish on the audience below.::

"Shush it's Christmas!" She yelled at the angry jeers aimed at her from below. "There! All done!" She straightened up and accidentally knocked the air pump out of Elfie's mouth, sending her flying straight across the field with incrediable speed. "Wow would you look at her go..." Jenn said in amazement as she nudged Lily and pointed at Elfie. "Do you think Mick will kill me?"
