7th House Quidditch: RAVENCLAW V SLYTHERIN : 21st-25th

(Slytherin captain and chaser)

Nancy continued her way towards the Ravenclaw goalposts, doing a few ariel manauvers here and there in her flight. She suddenly heard someone singing from behind her. A smile was instantly placed on her red lips, she would know that voice anywhere. It was Jess. Nancy turned her head around slightly and yelled to the reserve beater, "Thanks Jess! Let's get those bludgers flying!" She laughed in a dark tone and then returned her focus back onto her target.

Nancy then spotted her Twinny and fellow chaser come onto the field and a smile once again could be seen. "Twinny! So glad you could make it. Now we can finally get this game going. We have you, Jess and Raistlin. Let's just hope the others can get here soon."

Nancy listened to Jessie as she spoke, her eyes lighting up at the mere sight of the quaffle. “Twinny… may I?” Nancy laughed at her friend. "Of coarse you can, and please, take good care of her." She tossed the quaffle over to Jessie and then flew along side of her as she made her way towards the goals.

(Slytherin Chaser)

“You rock twinny!” Jessie called, catching the quaffle in her arms and tucking it under her left arm. She grabbed the broom with her right, and darted off towards the Ravenclaw hoops to try and score for her beloved Slytherin team. She smiled as she flew across the pitch, it had been a while since she had played, and she surely missed it. “Ok, Ok… I need a play here…” She said to herself as she darted across the pitch.

“I got it!” She said to herself, as one of her favorite plays popped into her head. Sure, she had used it before… many times actually… but hey, it was fun and she liked it! As she got nearer to the hoops, she wrapped her legs tightly around her broom and held the quaffle with both hands above her head. Slowly at first, then picking up momentum she swung forward and back on her broom. Finally, she had gained up enough momentum and swung forward on her broom. Just as she came back around she held the quaffle out in front of her and tossed it with all her strength straight through the hoop. “Woohooo!!!” She cheered.

(Commentator)

Amber rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry my apologies, it isn't Jess its the Goddess Jessica, who just whacked a bludger at Jimmy. Now see here's some action, and for everyone's future knowledge, if you want me to change something I said, ask politely that way I can say no politely."

She looked around and watched as Jessie came in late. "Oh look! It's going to be an even game after all! Cause Slytherin chaser Jessie just arrived, scored! This may be an interesting game after all!"

(slytherin reserve beater)

Jess grinned and flew over towards where Jessie was flying. "Might as well protect the pretty nice people on my team compared to you know the MEAN one *coughRaceyCough*" She grinned and looked for any bludgers flying there way. And hit one coming up on there left at Lily.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Jimmy spun around on his broom, narowly avoiding the bludger that Jess had sent his way. Frowning, his chased after it, putting just enough speed on to overtake and curve around, smashing it back in the direction that it had come from.

"Hah!"

(Slytherin Reserve Beater)


Jess heard a crack in the direction of were Jimmy was and looked over to see a bludger coming right at her... she muttered a few curse words as her eyes turned into slits and she readied herself to hit the bludger. --She pulled out an old move and did the Archy-Arch hitting the bludger up through the air and down back towards Jimmy.

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Nancy watched as Jess and Jimmy played a rather interesting game of Bludger pin-pong back and forth. She smiled and laughed lightly. "Well I think I will take this opportunity to once more regain possesion on the quaffle Twinny! Follow me!"

Nancy then flew once more towards the center of the pitch. She spotted the once again airbourne quaffle and she flew at it, swiftly and with intense focus. She wrapped her hands tightly around it and tucked it between her legs. Gripping her broom tightly she swerved to the left and made her way back towards the Ravenclaw side of the pitch, flying as fast as she could, her attention sharp looking for any flying bludgers.

(Slytherin Chaser)

“Twinny! Follow me!” Jessie heard Nancy shout. Smiling, she darted over to her twinny as she saw her catch the quaffle, she knew an exciting play was surely on its way. She flew above Nancy and turned her broom so she was hanging upside down. “Hello there.” She smiled. “You won’t mind if I borrow this right?” She smiled, and grabbed the quaffle. Pulling her broom right again, she shouted to her twinny “Serpent Steal!” Looking over her shoulder to see if Nancy had heard, she darted towards the Ravenclaw goal posts.

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Nancy watched her Twinny as she flew along side her and then flew above her. “You don‘t mind if I borrow this right?” Nancy laughed. “Well, if you want it that badly, I suppose I can share..” Nancy then heard her call the play Serpent Steal and laughed again as her Twinny plucked the quaffle from her grasp. “Alright then, I shall put the next plan into play.” Nancy giggled and took off, Jessie closely following her as she flew closer and closer to the Ravenclaw hoops. Nancy looked up at Jess and smiled, as she saw her flying around herself and her fellow chaser. She would definitely get hold of any bludger heading towards them and whack them away before they made contact.

Nancy then tipped her broom straight down and then made an upsidown loop going directly underneath Jessie and the reaching her hands out as she continued the loop around her. She then grabbed the quaffle back, smiled at Jessie and began a series of corkscrew maneuvers towards the right hoop, picking up more speed with every twist she made.

She then finally slowed down when she was right in front of the right hoop. Taking the quaffle tightly with both hands, she threw it through the hoop. Seeing it go through Nancy smiled and headed off to high-five her fellow teammates.

{Slytherin Keeper}

Val awoke from the Slytherin dorm, and looked outside. 'OH MY GOD!' she thought, darting out of bed and right away dressing into her Quidditch robes. "I'm late, I'm late! Sheesh, why didn't someone wake me up?" She pouted to herself as she darted out of the dungeons and right out to the quidditch pitch. Having grabbed from her broom when she left, Val took a running start and hopped onto her broom, shouting to her team. "Sorry!!!" She zoomed for the Goalposts right away, and stood guard infront of them. Dyed blonde, with purple streaks, hair up in a very short ponytail, only about an inch or two of hair sticking out, her bangs, still hung on the sides and therefore, the ponytail really served no purpose.

Getting a ready stance for any bludger, she heard her stomach growl. 'Sheesh...didn't have time for breakfast.' she frowned to herself and shrugged, 'That's what you get for being late, stupid!' she told herself. Blue eyes darted around the field as she tried to find the Quaffle. She smiled, relieved that Nancy and Jessie were doing a play. She smirked as she watched it soar through a hop, and let out a very hyper cheer.

"WOOT! GO TEAM! GO TEAM! YAY!!!!" She shouted loud enough so that Nancy and Jessie would be able to hear. Ravenclaw was tough, and they weren't going to hold back at all. Not that they did at any other time...

(Commentator)

"Well look at that, Nancy scores! That puts both teams even now I think, oh well Slytherin is making a comeback either way." Amber said. "And look here there's Cloaky! Wow I think the advantage lies with our once underdogs, the Slytherin team."

"And there goes Jess whacking a bludger toward Jimmy! And look at there! Rai is actually trying to call the snitch to him! Good luck with that one. Hey I have not! I'm not a seeker when I play and if I loose a snitch someone else finds it." She said. "Furthermore, you have lost it! Calling for the snitch isn't going to help you find it."

{Ravenclaw Seeker}

Rigby was most unhappy at the turn of events the game had taken. Green uniforms were flying everywhere, and her teammates were now on the defensive. Raisty was flying around the pitch like a madman, no doubt trying to intimidate her, but he would have to go to a lot furthers lengths to accomplish that. At the moment his display was comical. Rigby mentally rolled her eyes, while keeping her hazel gaze on the lookout for the snitch and for bludgers. She knew that she would have to do her best to catch the golden prize if the Slytherins kept their gameplay up. Of course she knew that once her team regrouped their would be no way to stop a Ravenclaw attack. She allowed a small smile to dance on her lips, steeling her determination to go all out for her team.

"Hey Kate, why don't you show dear Rai here how to catch a snitch?" she heard Elana call out to her. She turned to look at Ravenclaw's beloved beater, hard at work with her bat. There was a sparkle in her eye and laughter in her voice, and Rigby was glad to see it. Elana's enthusiasm gave her a boost in energy and she gave her a wide smile and a nod.

"I'll do my best, Elana, but I doubt he'll be a willing student!"

With a new sense of purpose, Rigby renewed her hunt for the snitch, her eyes wide and searching. What she wouldn't give for Mad Eye Moody's magic eye, she was sure he would make a heck of a seeker. She flew by a ranting Raisty, who didn't appear to even notice her. On a whim, Rigby glanced upwards. There sparkling in the sky was her snitch. She narrowed her eyes, honing in on the sphere, tracking it's movements. She spared a quick glance at Raistlin, but he was still preoccupied. In the back ground she could hear that crack of Elana's bat as she hit bludgers at the opposing team. No one appeared to be paying her any attention.

Quietly and quickly, Rigby flew upwards. She tried to appear casual, after all it wasn't unusual for her to fly high while searching for snitch. The game continued down below, undisturbed by her departure. The snitch was still doing lazy loops in the sky, but seemed to sense her approach. Rigby was almost to the golden devil when it suddenly took off, flying so fast it was just a blur in front of her. Rigby gave chase, the exhiliration of the speed pumping pure adrenaline into her blood stream. Not even a cheering charm could make her feel this happy, this alive. The snitch stayed high in the air, drawing Rigby closer and closer, only to suddenly break away. Rigby followed as closely as the snitch would allow, sensitive to its design. Her sparkling tormentor was not ready to be catched just yet, but if she was patient, the prize would be hers in the end.

(SLytherin Seeker and Co-Captain)


Raistlin flew to the commentor's cabinet oncemore

"- AMBERON! You really don't to get me started do you?"

Raistlin turned his broom inched away from amber's face and flew upwars where he saw a blurring Rigby going for the snitch

"- You sneaky Show off!" he shouted at her

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Nancy smiled at her team mates. They were doing an amazing job. She had to laugh at her co-captain though, attempting to call the snitch to him. Who know...maybe it could actually work. With a smile upon her face she quickly flew back to the center of the pitch and waited for the quaffle to come back into play.

Spotting the quaffle, nancy flew as fast as she could after it once more. She loved being in possession of it, and she would try to get it as much as possible. Her arms stretched out to her left side, she gracefully catched it as she flew by and tucked it unter her right arm. She whipped her broom around so she was facing the Ravenclaw hoops.

Quickly she flew to the opposite end of the pitch, keeping her eyes open for on coming bludgers, and her other team mates. She veered right and circled around Jess. "Cover me." She said to her, and then steered her coarse a bit so she was heading towards the center hoop.

(Slytherin Seeker and Co-Captain)


Ignoring the moody comment of the bitter people Raistlin continued to call for the snitch

"SNITCHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY WHERE AREEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUU?????"

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Hearing Raisty again calling to the snitch Nancy once again began laughing. If there was a way to do it, and make it work, then Raistlin would figure it out.

Continuing her flight towards the hoops nancy looked and searched desperately for another one of her team chasers. Seeing none of them at the moment, she knew if they were to score, she would have to bring it in herself.

She quickly flew to the right hoop and circled around it twice, not exactly sure how she was going to go about this. She then raised her altitude a bit and then circled around the center hoop. She circled it three times and then dropped her altitude once more and flew next to the right hoop. She spun her broom and then tilted so it when upsidown and threw the quaffle through, scoring again for her beloved Slytherin team.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}

Rigby felt a presence behind her and increased her speed, the snitch still dancing just out of her reach. Despite the interruption she still felt as if it was just her and the snitch, alone in the sky. She was actively blocking out any of the outside world's noise and concentrated on the task at hand. Her broom became an extension of her body, lending grace and swiftness to her moves. She reached out released a hand from her firebolt, ready to make her move. Out of nowhere a flock of birds came swooping down, attracted by the glittering snitch. Rigby gave a startled cry as the birds smashed into her, one entagling itself in her braid. The snitch had disappeared completely in the mass of birds, so Rigby used her free hand to free the chirping bird from her hair. Her red tresses now in dissaray, and her snitch lost in the middle of a gang of birds, Rigby did her best not to scream with frustration. Why did things like this happen to her? The birds gave up their chase, the snitch obviously having managed to escape, and they flew en masse away from the pitch. Glaring at the bird brains, Rigby dropped down and started from the snitch hunt from scratch. She laughed at Raistlin's attempt to call the snitch, that little golden devil was not about to anyone's bidding, not even Raisty's.

(Commentator)

"Rigby zooms after the snitch followed soon after by Rai! While Nancy scores again, but soon finds herself having a bludger sent at her. Hit by Ravenclaw beater Elana! And look there's Holly! Wow everyone seems to be late to this game, but I suppose it's better late then never! And she quickly gains possession of the quaffle, looks like she wondering where in teh world her teammates are!" Amber said.

"And Rai is still calling for the snitch, I told him before it won't work. And if you dare even think about threatening me again so help me I swear I will dock points! A girl can't even do her job around here without getting yelled at! It's not my fault your still around yelling for an inanimate object."

(SLytherin Seeker and Co-captain)

"...an inanimate object."

"An what?" Raistlin said surprised once agina he flew to the commentor's cabinet

"Whic part of it flying around and won't stay stilll for us to catch it makes it an inanimate object?" Raistlin shook his head

"And you just lost all your credibility to say anything about my methods of catching the snitch. Anyway I'm warning you again!"

Raistlin zoomed off to find the snitch "SNTICHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GOLDEN SNITCHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY COME TOM MEEEEEEEEEE"

(Commentator)

"Okay fine just be all technical about it! I meant it in the sense it isn't alive!" Amber said defensively. "And I didn't lose any credibility, cause I never had any! Why do you think I've only gotten to do this two times? It's cause people get fed up with my sarcastic and very true remarks about how the game is going. And I still stand by the fact that calling for something that isn't alive isn't going to work."

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Nancy looked towards her left shortly after making a score for her team and saw a bludger coming at her at super fast speeds. She quickly layed her body flat against her broom and started to fly downward as fast as she could go but she just wasn't fast enough. The bludger hit her hard on the leg and she let go of her broom for a moment, an instinctive move when she felt the shooting pain in her leg. As she took her hands off she started to slip off of her broom and within seconds she was falling downward at a fast pace.

As she was fastly making her desent towards crashing hard into the ground if no one saved her she yelled to anyone near by. "My broom, someone get me my broom, save me QUICK!" Her voice sounded quite desperate. The ground was hard and she was falling from a looooong ways up. It was going to hurt quite badly and she was not looking forward to it.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}


Rigby had enough of Raisty's ranting, she was ready for a little competition! Spotting the snitch just below where the Slytherin seeker flew, she took off after it. Don't tell me all that calling for the snitch worked, she thought. Her broom hummed with speed, the wind tugging at her hair. Raistling gave chase, his actions much faster and impressive than Rigby was expecting. She fought hard to maintain her lead on him, blocking his view of the snitch as best she could. She flew side to side to prevent him from overtaking her, but he was right behind her. She looked for Elana and seeing her gave her a boost in confindence. Suddenly Rigby dived downwards directly within Elana's strike zone, the Slytherin seeker hot on her trail. I hope this works, she prayed.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}


Prepared for Elana's lethal bludger, Rigby tightened her grip on her broom. She heard Elana's whistle, but only because she was listening for it. Unless Raistlin looked up he would not be able to see the Ravenclaw beater. She could still feel the impatient seeker on her broom tail. She had no doubt that he was going to be furious when he discovered that he was getting pummeled by a bludger while chasing a fake snitch! At the last possible second Rigby did a sloth grip roll, clinging to her broom with hands and feet upside down to avoid Elana's bludger. She winced in sympathy for poor Raistlin, hoping that the unseen bludger wouldn't hurt him too badly.

[Slytherin Chaser]

Agatha jetted out onto the pitch. She was flushed from running as fast as she could from the school. She was very late and had left he team hanging. She watched as Nancy was thrown from her broom in horror. As she jumped onto her broom to fly to her rescue, she looked up and saw that Lily had already come to her aide. She looked over to see where the fallen quaffle had gone to and saw that it was close by and she could reach it if she hurried.

She gripped her broom and hunkered down close to get maximum speed. She was going so fast she almost flew right past where it was falling, but just in time she reached out and grabbed the beautiful red ball and clutched it tight to her side.

She darted off towards the newly guarded Ravenclaw goals and knew she would be there in no time. Looking over she saw that the once again broomed Nancy was at her side and gave her a quick thumbs up. Agatha smiled as she decided to have a little fun...

(Slytherin captain and chaser)

Nancy spotted Ame and flew over beside her and smiled as she grabbed the quaffle. "Are we ready to get some points here?" She asked her friend. "Pass her over, I wanna play with the quaffle!"

(SLytherin Seeker and Co-Captain)

Raistlin followed Rigby got hit by the Bludger and started falling and yelled

"Don't anyone dares to save me!"

[Slytherin Chaser]

Agatha Smiled as Nancy flew right up next to her. She carefully tossed her the quaffle and was happy to see it land safely in her arms. She threw back her head and laughed at the trouble they were about to cause!

(Slytherin Captain and chaser)

Nancy caught the quaffle that Ame passed to her with a smile. "Thanks Ame." She shouted and quickly tucked the game ball between her legs. She leaned her body forward on her broom and picked up the dirsection of the wind to help her head to the Ravenclaw side of the pitch even faster.

She soared straight ahaead until she was only about twenty feet from the goals. She stopped suddenly when she saw another bludger heading in her direction. She dropped her altitude quick and knew that she couldn't possibly score now. She luckily flew down enough to just miss the bludger making contact, and then flew back towards Ame. "Catch!" She said and tossed the ball to her fellow chaser.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}
Rigby saw the snitch, unbelievably it was right in front of her! She increaser her speed, careful to maintain tight control of broom. She was flying fast enough to do some damage if something went wrong. She narrowed her eyes to protect them from the high winds as she gave chase. The snitch was flailing around like a drowning man, and she was sure that the moment was right. She inched up further on her broom and leaned forward. She grazed the snitch with her fingers, but without warning the snitch dropped like a dead bird, leaving her fingers empty. She tried to follow but she was too overextended and she had to fight to stay on her broom. By the time she was rebalanced the snitch was long gone. Rigby began the task of tracking it again, keeping an eye on Raistlin's activity as well.

{Ravenclaw Seeker}

Rigby wiped the sweat from her brow, suddenly catching sight of the snitch and taking a downward plunge after the her golder tormentor. She doggedly tracked the snitch, careful to keep a pace ahead of anyone that might be behind her. The game had taken it's toll on her and she ached from head to toe. She closed in on the snitch, stretching her fingers outward. A bludger came out of nowhere and hit her hand. "Ahhhh!" she cried. Her entire hand was engulfed in flames and pinky finger was pointed at an unusual angle. The pain was intense, somehow though Rigby stayed on her broom. The snitch had gained a lead on her. Cradling her injured hand to her chest, she urged her broom faster, In her mind the words Must Catch Snitch repeated over and over again, distracting her from her pain. The snitch took a sudden hard right and Rigby turned first, gaining a much needed lead. She grew closer and closer to the snitch until it was within her reach. Taking a deep, steadying breath, Rigby let go of her broom with her good hand and flung herself at the snitch. She managed to catch the snitch, but her broom was out of control, she had been going to fast to fly no handed. Her broom dipped dangerously forward and Rigby was forced to grasp the handle with her injured hand. She howled in pain, but quickly forgot it when she realized that she had the snitch in her good hand. She'd done it!! Yelling happily even as tears of pain ran down her face, Rigby did a quick celebration with her team before realizing that she really needed to get her finger fixed. Looks like she was going to end up in infirmary after all.
