| When in a battle, transfiguration can come in very handy. Describe a type of transfiguration you could use to get yourself out of a tight spot. What item would you use and what would you transfigure it into?
You can either explain in a story way or in an instruction way.
Total Available house points: 30
Remember to site your sources (websites used) and no copying and pasting!
Points awarded to each student will be given once this class closes and will be upon the end of this post.
Have fun!

| Battle Transfiguration
As I wear glasses there is always the fear of them getting broken within a battle scenario causing me to be half blind and useless. For this reason, I would trasfigure a rock or nearby object into a spare pair of glasseswhich would be for my sight to enable me to continue with the battle.

| I would transform into something so obvious, that no one who think to see it. Something out in the open, like a normal bird or anything normal
Then, my opponent would be looking for something really obvious, and I would be hidden right before his eyes.
Tricky, huh? | |

| I think I would transfigure into a stone, not too big but just heavy enough so if I were to be thrown then it would do damage. I would be hard not soft ;ike chalk or limestone. Maybe granite. I would be able to move myself (just roll) and in an attack against Voldemort, I would nudge someone at their feet and hint to them to throw me at Voldemort, thus hitting his head and killing him. Then I could be used to kill all the Death Eaters. And finaly I would return to my former state as a human. picture courtesy of google image search. | |

| I think it would be useful to transfigure other statues around you into living objects to defend you. Such as when Professor McGonagall transfigured the chessmen to come alive. Or even when Prof. Dumbledore made the statues at the Ministry of Magic come alive to fight Voldemort while Harry gets away.
So if I was in a tight spot I would tranfigure something around me to come alive and fight my opponent while I got away or at least bid me some extra time.

| I would most likely turn into something light, like a feather or a leaf. Especially if you are way up high on top of a building or a mountain and your foe is trying to push you off. A feather or leaf would be ideal because if they succeed at pushing you, you will fall gracefully and land safely that way ~Kitty | |

| if i was being chased, I would transfigure something into an invisibility cloak. If i battled against someone, I'd transfigure their wands, of course Now, If i was in a tight situation, let's say I was being chased by Lord voldemort, I'd transfigure into something in the environment. I'f we were outside, I'd transfigure into a grass straw. | |

| Battle Transfiguration
Escaping or in a tight situation
--If I wear running away from something like in a very tight situation, I would most likely transfigure into a fast animal that blends into the environment aronud me, or I would transfigure into an object to disguise myself.
For example, I would disguise myself as a tree in a forest, in a field, I'd transfigure into a leaf, weed, or grass. In a deserted cold empty place, I would be a stone or a pebble.
Close combat
--When I am up against the person in actual combat, it would be best to transfigure them into something that will take them awhile to transfigure back into a human. Also, if it were possible, I would transfigure their weapon/wand/stick or anything they'll use to get me, I would make it into something impossible to get.
Escaping from something
-- If I were trying to escape--I would transfigure myself into an eagle, a raven, butterfly, a fly, seagull, or something that will let me get away up into the sky to escape from a battle, person, or a monsterous creature. If it were possible to transfigure yourself into that creature, you can confuse them and try to use their powers or yor own by using transfiguration.

| I chose to do mine in a story form:
"Granger, Ive had it with you," Malfoy sid pulling out his wand, "Secte-" but before he could finish HErmione had dissapeared and in her place was a penny. Malfoy left the penny and walked away.
Hehe HErmione changed into a penny. Pennys never get harmed.... :lol!:

| i would transfigure a strip of ground in front of me into a non-penatrable wall of pink FIRE! No charms would be able to pass through it towards me, but i would be able to both see through it, and cast spells, hexes, and jinxes to my opponent. Lifey | |
