Quidditch Pitch

Zelda kicked her broom ,but she lost her balance and fell... fell ... fell twenty feet... She hit hard.

" Ouch... I haven't done that since I was in Hogwarts..." Zelda let slip out...

" Ok.." Zelda said.

" yea" zelda said.

" yea.." Zelda said.

Zelda walked with Oddie.

Rista walked onto the pitch with her trusty firebolt in her hand. She was planning to try out for the Gryffindor quidditch team. She wanted to practice some flying so she could get reaccustomed to being in the air.

She kicked off and was instantly soaring around the pitch. She flew higher and higher and then sank into a sudden dive. She pulled out just inches from the ground. She then proceeded to do some more advanced moves, such as a sloth grip roll. After a short workout, she sat in the stands to rest.

"Of course," Rista replied, a little winded. "How are you doing?"

"Oh, thanks," Rista said, blushing. "I've been practicing since I was allowed to have a broom. I just haven't had the nerve to try out for the team. I want to, though."

"Probably chaser," Rista answered. "I would be happy with anything. What team do you support. I support the Holyhead Harpies," Rista said, her face lighting up with pride.

"Oh. I don't either, but I follow it," Rista said. "I'm a muggle born, so my parents would probably have a tough time fitting in at a game."

Zelda walked up after a couple of days in the hospital with her broom and a couple of arm pads... " Well hello Rista and Oddie...... Oddie I have come back to finish that game that never got started... Rista I over heard you saying that you want to be chaser?" Zelda asked.

"Hi Zelda," Rista said. "Yeah, I'm hoping to try out when they hold trials."

"What happened?" Rista asked.

"Oh dear," Rista said. "I hope that never happens to me."

" Yep... well... that is over thank goodness and now a new day for a game of Quidditch... So Rista.. if you want to make the team you going to have to practice.. Do you want to play?" Zelda asked.

" We defiantly could help you." Zelda said.

"Sure, that would be great," Rista said.

" Okay." Zelda said as she put on her quidditch cloak...

Rista picked up her broom and made her way back to the pitch. "Okay, so how are we going to do this game?" She asked.

" I was thinking I would be Keeper and you two could be chasers... that way you could both work together and try to get past me... I haven't practiced in a while so you and me are close to evenly matched." Zelda said.

"Okay. That sounds good," Rista said. She mounted her broom and kicked off, flying up into the air.

" I think we need to wait for Oddie." Zelda said.. " But until then we can practice." Zelda said.

"My thoughts exactly," Rista replied.

Okay.." Zelda said as she took her position and waited for Rista.

"Are we going to do some penalty shots, or what?" Rista asked. "I thought you meant practicing flying, but that's an even better idea."

" What ever you throw at me." Zelda said.

Okay. Rista grabbed the quaffle and then started to fly up toward the hoops. She flew straight for the middle hoop. Shortly before she got there, she started shifting slowly to the right. At the last instant she veered all the way to the left and tossed the quaffle toward the left-most hoop.

Zelda sowered as fast as she could and barley blocked the quaffle.. " That was really good!!!" Zelda said as she threw the quaffle back at her.

" Its Okay!" Zelda said as she waited for the next shot.

"Zelda was saying that you and I could play as chasers and she could be keeper," Rista said. "We were just doing some penalties until you got here."

" Yep " Zelda said in agreement.
