First topic message reminder :

This is the thread for a quidditch pitch at Hogwarts.

Please refer to your character sheets for your role playing character. Refer to the Howler for more information.

Do not mistake this for the inter house main quidditch

Alice watched Elladora make a truley spectacular catch, she was way to good to be a reserve! Alice was also a reserve, keeper, but she had never played for her house.

Elladora flew down to the dressing rooms and put the Snitch away, then she pulled out a Quaffle. Mounting her broom once more, she flew off towards Emmalynn in the pitch. Elladora passed the Quaffle to Emmalynn. "Heads up!" she called.

Alice flew uo to gaurd the goal posts, waiting fot them to shoot. Alice was sudenly nervous, Elladora was sooo good at quidditch, and Alice was quite sure that she was hopeless!

"Oh, blast, I've got to go!" She touched down on the pitch and left the pitch in a hurry. "Bye!" She called over her shoulder.

Alice waited for elladora or emmalyn to have a shot, wondering vaguely weather they should still be searching.

Elladora flew around Emmalynn quickly and took the Quaffle back. "Stop spacing out, Maly," she told her friend. Then she corkscrewed around and threw and easily catchable shot at Alice's left hoop.

Alice was shocked out of her contemplative state when Elladora quickly threw the quaffle at ther left hoop. Luckily, it was not a hard catch so she easily saved it. Smiling she threw the quaffle back.

(when you guys resume your search for the *ahem* can you tell me so i can join too???)

Eliza walked onto the pitch, nimbus in hand, as she looked at the sky. "Ideal flying contitions..." She muttered. She mounted her broom and pushed off into the air. Long black hair streamed behind her, outlining her pale skin and dark eyes. She did several laps of the pitch to warm up.

Elladora caught the Quaffle and allowed the light force to push her back and flip around. She spun in a circle around the pitch insamely fast, her comfort being that there were no bludgers around, and shot a bit harder at the hoop directly above Alice's head, hoping no harm would come to her.

Alice lunged for Elladora's shot, but it was harder and faster than she had anticipated and Alice watch hopelessly as it slipped through her fingers and through the hoop. Alice dived and caught the quaffle before returning to playing height and passing the quaffle back.

Elladora smiled at Alice's Quidditch playing and caught the Quaffle once more. Now secretly set to make the the most awesome Keeper ever, Elladora passed the Quaffle to her repeatedly in mixed patterns and with varying difficulties, paying absolutely no attention to whether or not they were even near the posts.

Alice quickly caught and threw back the quaffle Elladora continued to trow, only dropping it two or three times. Alice was suprised at the speed of Elladoras passes, for she had figured that she could only play seeker soo well. It turned out that she was an allround player, judging by the quick passes and how close the shots were to the goals, even though Elladora barely seemed to be concentraiting on aim.

After a while Elladora grabbed the ball looped in a tight circle and hurled the ball at Alice with great speed at her right hoop. Elladora bit her tongue while she waited for the reaction.

Alice was taken off gaurd as Elladora looped and threw the ball at her right hoop. Alice lunged for the quaffle, but because of its speed and her late reaction, it went flying into the hoop moments before Alice's hand appeared to block it. Smiling at Elladora;s impressive performance, Alice flew down and caught the quaffle before returning to playing height. ''How did you get so good at chaser and seeker?'', Alice asked her.

Elladora smiled. "I've been on a broomstick since I was two. I played in full schrimages at age six, and I've been to every Quidditch World Cup, even when it wasn't held in Britain. My dad knows some famous people."

After about ten minutes of intensive catching, Elladora stopped and went down to get a drink of water. "So, Alice," Elladora asked, "How good is your eyesight?"

Elladora swerved down carefully to retrieve the Snitch she had previously caught. "Here's the last one I had. And don't worry about losing it, I can catch it fairly quickly when that time comes," she added.
