I don't think he did turn into a bat. The exact quote is:

From what McGonagall said I'm guessing he just learned how to fly like Voldie, and the shape he made in the sky (robes billowing) was like that of a bat. Snape's been described as bat-like in previous books, IIRC.

I loved that! That they all just came because Harry had turned up showed their loyalty and trust in him. It annoyed me too that Molly wouldn't let Ginny fight - she was barely underage, just by a couple of months and what difference would it have made anyway? We already know Ginny's a powerful witch, and she's fought before, so..

This chapter was great they all were pretty much. But yes Molly annoyed me. Ginny should have been able to fight not stand around.
Percy was amazing at one point I thought Fred and George would tell him to bugger of lol!

Yeah. I loved McGonagall in this chapter. She was so brilliant, and brave. I loved it. And Luna was well, Luna!

Was this the chapter where Cho volunteers to take Harry to the common room? I loved when Ginny volunteered Luna.
