Chapter 21

Use this thread to discuss the events in Chapter 21 of Deathly Hallows.

My favourite part about this chapter was the friends painting on Luna's ceiling. It's so sweet, yet so sad, because it shows before Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville and Ginny she had no friends and that she really values them.

Now...when Harry noticed that all her things were dusty and that the room looked uninhabited, I really thought for a moment that Luna was dead. I felt sure that one of the sextet would be a goner, so I really thought Luna's room was dusty because she was dead.

The story of the Deathly Hallows being in the form of a fairytale was good. Again, a lot of exposition and explanation about the story, but not in the dry form of someone telling us. Having it as a fairytale that is ingrained in the lives of wizarding children is clever.

I really disliked Xenophilius for what he did as well, but...it is understandable. The only thing is, we know Luna wouldn't have wanted her Father to betray her friends, and that's what made me hate him.

I felt so sorry for Luna's dad he just wanted his daughter back she is all he has. I liked the tale and the bit when Harry said something like
Wait he talked to death
Harry its a fairy tale
o right carry on then

I loved the ceiling in Luna's room.

That painting was so sad. She had finally had friends, I loved that part, It almost made me cry lol

The ceiling was so sweet. When we saw the picture of Luna and her mom I thought that was soo cute. I also really liked the tale of the Three Brothers. I didn't really expect Xenophilius to do that to them, I was so shcoked.

Like, everyone else I was convinced Luna was dead too. However, I didn't feel relief when I found out the Death Eaters had her.
