Chapter Sixteen - Godric's Hollow

Hermione's reaction to Ron leaving did two things for me;

One; It enhanced my view on their relationship and seemed to take it to a new level, and

Two; Annoyed me as she seemed to blame Harry at times when it was Ron who was acting like an idiot.

The introduction on the symbol which is also on the cover of the book interested me a lot. I kept trying to figure out what it was without getting far. I kept thinking of Krums reaction, but I had a feeling that it was something differnt to what he knew it of.

The part at the graveyard was very touching. It had a sad feel to it as it was the first time Harry had visited the place his parents were buried.

The two quotes on the Dumbledore gravestone and the Potter gravestone really interested me and I was trying to work out what they meant and wher they may come in.

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death"
and
"Where your treasure is, there shall be your heart also"

The later quote made me think all sorts. My first thought was at Harry's parents old house as that would/could be where Harrys heart belonged, then I thought of Hogwarts...

The first quote just made me think of Voldy as he is scared of Death.

Oh, the scene at the graves was so sad sad

I teared up a little there.

I liked the idea of a statue of Lily, James and Harry, but I thought Harry would have reacted differently.

Yeah, there was something not quite right with his reaction was there?

It's just the fact that in the past, all references to his fame, being different and being a hero bothered him. Here, he sees a statue of himself (albeit as a baby), and there is no reaction.

I just thought he might be a little bothered by it. Perhaps because it was honouring Lily and James as well was the reason.

Yeah, probably, and also Harry was caught up in a mixture of emotions which perhaps made him act different

Yeah that made me go huh because it was just out of character to me. But then if you were visiting your parents graves you would act a bit weird wouldn't you.
That chapter to made me upset but not cry because we never really knew them it just upset me for Harry lol!

I liked this chapter... Harry finally got to see his parents graves after all that time that he wanted to see it... I wasnt too glad that Ron left but with the way that he was acting they were probably better off with him going somewhetre else to cool down a bit

I cried in this chapter too! It was soo sad. But I think that we needed to see it. I really wish Ron was there..
