Chapter 5

Use this thread to discuss the events in Chapter 5 of Deathly Hallows.

I seriously thought Hagrid was dead in this chapter. I was so prepared for Ted Tonks to tell Harry he'd died, and was so relieved when he wasn't dead!

I know, that's what i thought too! I was all "Nooooo..." and almost in tears!! But I loved the whole Ted/Andromeda stuff, because seriously, Tonks/Remus shippers will die of happiness when they actually have more about 'em to write :D

Also... i thought George was dead xD Luckily, he only lost his ear.

AND THE SPARKS OF EVENTUAL HARRY/GINNY :D I'm so squeeee xD

And George is 'saintlike, holy. Holey!' ...got it? xD Gotta love the twins! I was laughing so hard at it, and when Fred goes "Pathetic! With the whole wide world ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?" xDDDDDDDDDDD

But of all people, i never thought Mad-Eye would die. Not that soon atleast!

Bleurgh what can I add to what caro said I felt pretty much the same as them all I also thought something had happened to Ron.

When I saw the chapter a Fallen Warrior I thought Hagrid had died. I was about to throw the book until I saw that he was ok. I didn't like the Mad-eye died.[/i]

This chapter.. wow! After the last one I was so scared. And it was funny becasue when you first read it you don't know that Mad-Eye is dead, so it seems like Hedwig is the fallen warrior, so I was like, thats a little odd. I also thought Hagrid died at first. Then when they got back to the Burrow and all the portkeys were empty I was soooo scared. I also thought George had died. I was sooo sad for Moody. I cried becasue it was such a shock.

i loved the part about George and him being saintlike... lol.... fred thoguht that there was something wrong with him at first... lol.... even when he lost an ear and still could crack a joke about it instead of complaining about it... lol

Im the same as all of you, I thought Hagrid was the one who was dead - I was close to tears, him being Harry's first real friend and all, so I was so happy when he was alive! I didn't think much of Moodys death, though, possibly because I was so happy about hagrid being alive

I liekd old Moody. Though I wasn't really sad about it, but when they couldn't find his body was kind of sad, he couldn't RIP.

Well they did find the eye. But I wanted them to have a nice funeral.

I know.

Did we ever find out where his body went?

I thought it was Hagrid to. I liked mad eye, he was just rough becaus of what he was around all thoughts years.

What would Moody have done if he hadn't been killed. His Harry had disappeared so it woul dhave looked really suspicious if hejoined Harry and Hagrid.. or anybody else for that matter..

I don't think Harry would have told him. he didn't tell anyone else. Even upin although he was tempted.
