Gryffindor V Hufflepuff

This is the post for the fifth match of the season

Rules of the post:

Only Gryffindor and Hufflepuff house quidditch teams may post in here (rpg only)
plus skuldandy - the commentator!

NO ONE ELSE!!

The posts can begin on Monday 27th March-
and will end on Saturday 1st April- 5 days of rpg posting!

(Commentator)

:: Herby watches as Etta eyes connect with hers. She could tell that Etta was feeling the same vibe and got the crowd singing. Herby watched as Roman was singing and having stuff thrown at him.::

:: If anything was to benefit it was that the crowd was picking on Roman. Of course this caught peoples attention, and they lost interest in the game.::

“What is this? Roman was just….oww.. Hit with a large piece of… Was that a shoe. Oh man, I don’t think he will be singing again… But what’s this, Etta has spotted the snitch, and she’s going for it. Where on earth is Pad?”

:: Herby could hear Swift giving encouragement to Pad::

“Talk about good sportsmanship coming from Gryffindor.”

:: Herby then glances back towards Etta. She could see the Judges ducking as the snitch was weaving in and out the box. ::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL was indeed exhausted...no wonder she was a bit confused. But her move could actually be done in the future! Or to be exact...now!

The quaffle was just thrown by one of the huffies when WL hit a bludger at it, that Marie had hit into any direction (right at me!), knocking it into the hands of a gryffindor chaser.

WL grabbed a Werther's orginal from her pocket and sucked on it, giving into the blissful taste in her mouth. It was so good that she threw one at all the players, and herbie...they should be able to enjoy it too!::

Werther's Originals!!!! Swift thanked WL for the generous sweet and sucked blissfully on it. She watched with excitement as Rip soared towards the goalposts, the Quaffle clutched tightly under her arm.

(G SEEKER!)

::Pad goes fly up and then down...then...Right at swift! "Swift!!!Move!! THE SNITCH!! IT IS RIGH IN FRONT OF YOU!!"::

(G Chaser)

::Rip was flying up the pitch, Quaffle tucked securely under her arm. She could see Cheery waiting by the goalposts, so she carried on flying, and when she was a little closer, threw the quaffle at her team mate, who scored soon after.

"Yes!" Rip shouted.

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL soared through the air, happy that Gryffindor scored!!

"WhoooooO! Go, Gryffindor!"

::She took a mighty thwack at a nearby bludger, sending it spinning with top spin, right into Flis's elbow. She just realised what she did...

"NOOoOOOO! I didn't mean to hurt you!!!" WL flew over to where flis was holding her arm and cast a ferula charm again to hold it in place until Flis could see Madam pomfrey::

::Even with this little mishap, WL still felt elated that she was free to be flying!::

:growling at rip for making a score, Flisan caught the quaffle when the referee threw it up, and soared over to her fellow chasers, nodding determinedly. The Puff a Boo it was, then.:

(G SEEKER!)

::Pad turns and then dives. The snitch is inches away...::

(Commentator)

“ Can’t talk… eating … Werther's…. mmm… goodness.” :: Herby said well crunching on the remands of her candy.::

:: Herby looked up and saw McGonagall’s face. “Surely if you wish to commentate again, it would be a good idea to pay attention to the game, perhaps.” :: Herby looked disappointed and apologized to McGonagall and continued commentating.::

“Alright the game is back on. What’s this? Rip has the Quaffle, she passes and… Yes!! That’s a 10 points for Gryffindor”

:: Herby glances down and sees WL doing a little dance on her broom. She could see how excited WL was, maybe a little to excited.::

“Watch out Flis…Wooh.. Jezz that had to hurt. WL your not suppose to kill the other team.”

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Jen flew over to Flisan huddled very close to her. Leaning low on her broom stick, she nodded to Ginny, winked at her, and looked down. With her arms clasp close to something by her robes, she flew close to the ground with Ginny flying right on top of her as they flew together towards the Gryffindor goals.::

"Puff a Boo play it is!" Jen called out.

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

:Ginny winked down at Jenn as she switched positions with her and veered to the left of her and got underneath, her toes skimming the dewy grass. She was also clutching close to her robes, the quaffle seemingly hidden in there:

"Ready to switch in another second?" :Ginny whispered cautiously: "Etta! Watch out for Padfoot!"

"Sure ready when you are." Jen replied as they flew even closer to the goals weaving past each other every few seconds. At the last min, Jen and Ginny both flew at the hoops farthest from one another, still clutching their robes. But hiding the fact who had the quaffle. Jen reached the right hoop moved back as if getting ready to throw a quaffle.::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"You can do it Jenn!" :Ginny bellowed, hoping to distract the opposing team's players. She herself had the Quaffle hidden underneath her robes. Ginny then pulled it out, and, as quick as she could, fired it at the far left hoop, watching as the Quaffle went in...:

"Ha...Puff a Boo rocks.." :Ginny muttered, amusing herself with the name of their play:

::Pad goes fly up. He looks back and see's Etta. "COME ON ETTA!! Catch up here with me and get the snitch!" Pad said trying to encorege her::

(G Keeper)

::Swift was ready to slap herself for not paying more attention to the match (Internet down, it's one heck of an annoyance). She squealed as Padie zoomed past her, Etta not too far behind him.

"Watch where you're going, moron!" She growled, watching the Huffle Chasers form into an arrow shape, each carrying a bundle of something under their robes. It was too hard to tell which one of them had the Quaffle, and even if she tried, Swift would not have been able to block the Quaffle at the speed Ginny threw it.

Growling again, Swift shouted out to the Beaters.

"Do something about these three!!!!! Quaffle's spending far too much time over here, whack them again or something!"

Swift collected the Quaffle and threw it to Cheery, who flew quickly away from her.::

(Gryffindor Beater)

::WL smiles languidly as she hits both bludgers one after another at any hufflepuff chaser. She then follows a bludger, making sure is stays on track and giving it extra 'umph', leaving the other one to duck.::

"That good enough, swifty? And I thought the quaffle was supposed to be near you...you're KEEPER!" lol

(Gryffindor beater)

::Duck saw WL hitting one bludger towards the Hufflepuff chasers, so she went after the other one and hit it too.

She grinned as she saw the chasers scatter, and one of them dropped the quaffle into the awaiting arms of a Gryffindor chaser::

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Hairy Pitta glides into the action getting his bearings.
"Sorry team. Looks like i overslept......by a couple of days!!!!!!!!!!!"
Pitta's reconditioned Stratosphere 1975 broom glinted in the sunlight where he had just put a new coat 'Quickdry Merlin Varnish' on it. The speed at which he flew ensured that any bits that were a little wet still, dried quickly.
He flew after the two bludgers which had just scattered his fellow Hufflepuffs apart, and were still flying alongside one another. Coming up from underneath them both and making a hollow animal sound like a mating badger, he performed his trademark "BLUDGER DOUBLE WHAMMY" striking them both one after the other and sending them in the direction of the Gryffindor holding the quaffle. :joker:

(Gryffindor Beater)

::Duck flew to where the bludger was heading towards Rip, and whacked it to the other end of the pitch, away from the chaser.

"Go score Rip!" she yelled::

::Rip shouted a quick thanks to her sister and zoomed off towards the goal posts. he could hear Duck telling her to score, so she put on an extra burst of speed, dodged the Hufflepuff keeper, and quickly scored another ten points for Gryffindor::

"Yes!"

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

::Slighly in a daze and confused because she thought she saw Swift throw the quaffle to CHeery then suddenly Duck made one of her teammates drop it when they didn't have the ball. Shaking her head a bit, she figured she must have dozed off or something. Catching the quaffle as Madamn Hooch tossed it into the air, Jen leaning on low to her broomstick and flew around the field in an aimless way, just dodging bludgers and other players quickly, yet not seeming to try to score or even pass the quaffle. She looped around the field, up and down, left and right, with a playful smile on her face. This is called the Badger Banter.::

(gryffindor beater)

::Seeing that duck had whacked one of the bludgers away from rip, WL easily gets the other one and whacks it towards Ginny, hitting the tail end of her broom and sending her spinning round and round and round....::

(G seeker)

::Pad flys over to WL and makes her floward. Then He went flying up into the air. Into the sky. into the clouds. 100ft. in the air. He saw the snitch. He also saw a bludger chatching him. THe bludger came and hit him on the back of the head. He felt of his FireBolt and fell. On the way down he cought some thing gold, round and cold. The snitch. The game was over. He had cought the snitch!!::

(Hufflepuff Chaser)

"Is it just me or does the Seekers seem to always swallow the snitch!" Jen said with a laugh. "Sigh, at least I can rest now."

::She then heads toward the locker room to get changed and take a nap before doing homework.::
