Welcome to the Ra Ra Ravenclaw ball everyone!! All houses are free to join in on the fun. All that we ask is that you wear either blue or bronze to promote the Ravenclaw house spirit!!

All for one and one for all is our motto. We are a very close house with a lot of support for each other, so this motto suits us perfectly!

If you do participate in this thread, it will be done in third person RP form as I will have written below!!! Thanks for coming!!

Nancy walked into the beautifully decorated Great Hall. The whole place was streaming of every shade of blue and golden bronze. She took a deep breath and walked into the room, her long blonde hair swaying elegantly along her shoulderblades. She wore a dress of pale blue, specially designed for her by the talented LilyFlower. Her date was currently checking their coats in, but she was sure that Jimmy would be there shortly to join in the festivities.

She made her way to the middle of the room and cued the DJ's to start the music and informed the house elves that they could go ahead and start preparing the food for the evening. For now she would just stand and wait for more people to arrive.

Rigby entered the Great Hall, shivering with excitement. She loved any excuse to dress up, and her silky gown floated around her feet like cloud. She couldn't wait for the dancing to begin, which in her opinion was always the best part of any ball. I wonder if I can get everyone doing the Thriller dance again?

Rigby walked up and said hi to Nancy, another of the babes in blue as they were calling themselves. Then she wandered over to the refreshment table, eagerly downing a glass of pumpkin juice that one of the first year Ravenclaws were handing out. The ball had a three musketeers theme, and the little first years were all dressed up like miniture musketeers. Setting her glass down, she turned to make her way to the dance floor...

...and tripped over her gown, sprawling on the ground. Rigby tried to get up as quickly as possible, but the silkiness of her gown was proving to make her quite slippery. She really, really, really wanted to get up before anyone noticed her embarressing fall. Fortunately it seemed that many people were waiting to make a late appearance. For once early bird Rigby was rewarded for promptness, and made to her feet without drawing a large crowd of people to point and laugh at her.

Rebounding quickly, Rigby laughed out loud, surely no one had seen her fall! Right?...

Polly entered the great hall to see Rigby clambering to her feet looking around to see if anyone had seen her. Deciding to pretend like she had come in after the fall as not to humiliate Rigby Polly walked over towards the two girls.

Nancy waved at Kate as she walked in and then rushed over to her when she saw her fall. "Are you alright?" She asked her and looked her over to make sure she wasn't too badly injured.

Her green eyes then focused on another entering the room and she smiled at the girl who had just entered. "Polly! How are you? We have to help Kate!"

She then reached into her purse when Kate asked about the bandaids and handed her one. "There! Now what do you say we all go dance!?!?!"

June entered the Ravenclaw Ball and grinned as she instantly spotted her friends. "Hey guys!" she said, walking over to Kate, Nancy, and Polly. Per protocol, June's dress was blue and bronze. Although she prefered her own house's red and gold, June was more than happy to switch for this event. She loved her dress. It was a v-neck and made of blue and bronze silk. In the middle of the dress, there was a large bronze flower, from where a sheaf of bronze silk fluttered down. The dressed flowed as June walked, for once, not wincing because of a charm cast on her bronze stilettos. "This is great!" June said once she'd reached her friends. Looking around, she wondered aloud, "Am I the only non-Ravenclaw here so far?"

Elana, arriving at the ball late (as usual- she really did not have a sense of being prompt), walked into the great hall and into a sea of blue and bronze. Perfect, she thought, a smile lighting up her face. She tucked a stray curl behind her ear, mindful of the bright blue flower clipped in. On white heels clicking on the floor she walked over to the refreshment table, not feeling like dancing at the moment.

Once there she tapped a finger against her chin, wondering whether to take a glass of the bronze colored drink or the blue one. Deciding on the blue, Elana took a sip and recognized it to be blue raspberry. Deeeelicious! Her dress swished on the floor as she wandered around, smiling at her fellow HErs. She sat down at one of the many small bronze or blue tableclothed round tables dotting the room except for the cleared dance floor, and her foot was soon tapping to the catchy music. Well...maybe I will be dancing soon...

Stephy rushed into the Ravenclaw Ball late because she was so picky and couldnt decide on what dress to wear so in the end she closed her eyes and picked one. The one she was wearing was was a light blue one with white gloves. She wasnt used to wearinf dresses or high heels so before she entered the ball she cast a spell on her shoes so that they where as comfortable as wearing shoes.

Looking arouns Stephy quickly spotted her fellow Ravenclaws and June. She gave them all a huge wave before she headed over to where Polly, Kate and Nancy were. "Hey guys" Oddie said once she approuched them."What happened to you Kate?" Stephy asked her seeing that Nancy was handing her a bandaid

"Stephums" Polly screamed before attacking her with a hug. You all look so pretty. I'm so jealous. "Here you go rigby" She said handing over a band aid. Come on then lets dance she said grabbing peoples hands and pulling them towards the dance floor.

June laughed as Polly grabed her hand. "Sure," she said, and waved Elana over. "Come on Elana!" she said. "You look beautiful!"

Oh...why not. Elana grinned, stood up, and headed over to June and Polly. "If I look beautiful then you two are absolutely stunning!" she said, taking June's hand as they were all led to the dance floor.

Though she had never been much of a dancer, Elana still enjoyed the balls...so fun, so fun. A new song came on and soon their whole group was dancing away.

Stephy stood off to the side while she watched everyone else start dancing. She wasnt much of a dancer herself but if someone dragged her out onto the dance floor she would at least try to dance a little

Polly saw stephums standing on her own at the side and ran over to her. "O stephums please come and dance its fun" she said smiling grabbing her hand she began to walk towards the dance floor. There was no getting out of this.

Kitty stepped into the Ravenclaw ballroom slowly wearing the only blue dress she could find in her closet. She looked around to see that mostly Ravenclaws were there. Quietly, she walked towards the group of people and smiled to them.

"Hi everyone." She greeted them.
Then she glanced around to admire the decorations.The colors accented the ballroom with exquisite beauty and Kitty was very impressed. Then she looked at the ladies around her and couldn't help but admire their dresses. "Everyone looks so beautiful!" she said.
