"Aye...I'm a pirate," said Natalie, "Argh."

Hayley laughed, and Blueberry conjured a small eye-patch for Natalie.

"Yay," said Natalie, wearing the eye patch.

Hayley laughed, and Blueberry conjured another one. Hayley put it on grinning. "Argh!" she said, putting her hand in the shape of a hook.

"Yay....I love eye patches," said Natalie loudly, so that the other two Gryffindor chasers, who were sitting in arm-chairs nearby, giggled loudly and started whispering.

Natalie got up, put the finger up to them and said, "Go on, 'ave it!" and then walked back to Hayley.

Hayley clicked her fingers at the chasers, and then turned around, flinging her hair.

Natalie grinned.

The were some teeny tiny footsteps coming down the stairs, and then her two dolls, Chucky and Tiffany appeared at the door.

The were a few shocked and scared faces.

"Jeez, relax," said Chucky, "you act like you've never seen a talking doll before."

"See Chucky...I knew this would freak people out," said Tiffany. She spotted Natalie.

"Hey sweetface," Tiffany said, walking over.

"How's it hanging kid?" Chucky asked.

"Ok...I suppose...oh...they're ok...they won't hurt you," said Natalie to the startled people around her.

Chucky laughed.

"Those looks are priceless," he said, laughing madly.

Hayley sat down on a nearby chair. She tried not to let it show, but dolls like that terrified her.

Tiffany, sensing her fear, looked at Hayley.

"Don't worry sweetface..." her expression was soft, "we won't hurt you, or anyone...promise."

"Yeah...we not only promise...we can't...the kid put a spell on us so we can't," said Chucky, nodding towards Natalie.

Hayley nodded, her eyes firm, her gaze cold.

"Whats up sweetface...anything the matter?" Tiffany asked Hayley.

Hayley looked at Tiffany as if she had never seen her before. Suddenly she warmed to her, but still felt a cold hatred towards Chucky. "Um, no," said Hayley.

"Good," said Chucky and Tiffany together.

"Glad you're ok," said Natalie, smiling.

Hayley half-smiled, and then said, "Sorry guys, dolls just creep me out sometimes."

"Oh, don't worry sweetface...thats china dolls....and thats just in all those ghost stories...we've met Molly....she's very nice," said Tiffany.

"Yeah...and she actually doesn't mind sitting on the stairs," said Chucky, grinning.

Natalie laughed.

Hayley grinned at the dolls. "Hmm, yeah, she sounds nice..."

Natalie grinned, but felt guilty about making up one of those china doll ghost stories in the past.

Hayley smiled, and remembered the sleepover in which Holly and her had made ghost stories up to scare eachother. She giggled at these memories.

NAtalie looked absently into the flames of the fire.

Clafin cautiously walked into the Gryffindor Common Room for her very first time scared of the upperclassmen.
