Gryffindor Common Room

Rista walked back into the common room. She saw that Professor Rundell was in there. She sat down near her. "Hi, professor. What brings you here?"

" Oh well I'm posting a notice.. I appears that several students find it funny to come out in the middle of the night and freeze the ghosts..." I have put a couple of charms around the place so If they do well... they are going to get a surprise." Zelda said... " This is just a notice for them to stop or well... you know." Zelda said.

"Ah," Rista said, as she got up to read the notice. After she read it, she turned back to Prof. Rundell. "Why would someone do that? I don't think it's very funny, and I have a strange sense of humor."

" I don't know... " Zelda said.. The next thing she said to Rista she leaded over and wispered... " Hey Rista I'm not supposed to let you do this ,but do you want to come with me and help me catch them?" Zelda asked...

"We couldn't get into too much trouble if we got caught, right?" Rista asked. "I'd like to go, because I think that's just juvenile and cruel."

" Okay... come with me.." Zelda said as she pointed to the wall... " There is a secret entrance." Zelda said.

Rista stood up and made sure she had her wand. After confirming she did have it, she followed Zelda.

Zelda took her wand out and taped three books on the shelf many times and muttered her name... " Zelda Rundell.." After this the book shelf opened and Zelda stepped inside after stepping inside she waited for Rista.

"Wow!"Rista whispered. "I never knew about this. Maybe that's why it's called a secret entrance." She laughed as she followed Zelda into the entrance.

" Teachers only.. In fact I will have to memory charm you when we get back.. " Zelda said with a smile...

"Oh. Er....I guess that's fine. Thanks for letting me know first," Rista replied. She suddenly felt a little nervous.

Zelda started to laph... " You know you aren't supposed to know... I might have to do one... ,but we will see..... don't worry.." Zelda said as she lite her wand and went up the tunnel.

Rista pulled out her wand just in case and followed Zelda up. "Where does this go, anyway?" She asked.

Great Hall.." Zelda said... ( I have to go its very late!)

Rista continued along the tunnel with Zelda, rather impressed. (okay. g'night and happy new year)

" Thats good."Zelda said.... " Well we are here... " Zelda said as she preformed a couple of charms to open the door. Once both her and Rista where out she preformed a muffling charm and a Disalisument charm. she felt her skin go a little cold and they where both hidden. " Well now we wait." Zelda said.

BACK IN THE COMMON ROOM

Cassie sits in her favorite chair by the fire exhausted by the long day and falls asleep.

"Okay," Rista whispered. She kept her eyes peeled for any strange movement.

BACK IN THE COMMON ROOM

Cassie wakes up startled and realizes she fell asleep and now has to finish her Charms homework. She sits as far away from the fire as possible so she doesn't fall asleep again.[/i]

After about two hours of waiting a ghost comes by and three boys jump out... " Feco!" One of them yells and the ghost is frozen instantly. After seeing this Zelda flicked her wand and the boys where tied up by some rope that was laying by... With another flick Zelda reveals only herself to the boys... " Well what do we have here... you obviously didn't get my notice about freezing the ghosts." Zelda said with a stern smile... " I believe two of you are from the Slytherin house and one of you is in Gryfindor... if you three will follow me." Zelda said as she urged them forward and followed them.. After doing this Zelda signaled for Rista to follow ,but she was still invisabal. Zelda than steped in front of them and lead them to the dungens.

Rista saw Zelda's signal. She had seen the three boys but wasn't sure she recognized them. She followed Zelda toward the dungeons.

Zelda regretted doing taking them to Snape the Potions master ,but Zelda had too.. he was their head of house... As soon as they where at the door Zelda knocked on it and waited for Snape to answer it... " Yes..." he said quite lowly.. " These two boys have been freezing the ghosts." Zelda said to Snape.. " Oh Rundell its you...ok leave them here.." He said with a wicked look in his eye before Zelda walked off she saw Snape look over to where Rista was and she raised his eye brow... " Is their anyone else here.?" He questioned... " Where?" Zelda lied...

Rista froze instantly and held her breath. She prayed she wouldn't get caught. She wasn't too concerned for herself, but she didn't want her professor to get into trouble.

Zelda avoided Snapes gaze and looked where he was looking.. " I don't see anyting.." Zelda said with the most convincing voice she could muster... Snape looked at the spot once more and than shut the door... without saying a thing Zelda looked at the third boy... " Come.." She said to the Gryffindor boy and to Rista... Once they where in her office.. Zelda looked at the boy and said.. " I am very dissapointed... I even put up notices... I don't want to do this ,but you leave me no choice.. I am giving you two detentions ... If I catch you again... well you will not come to me ,but go strait to the headmaster..." Zelda said.. The boy looked quit frightened. " Now... go to your dorm... If you dont'... I shall know.. " Zelda said..... After the boy left Zelda flicked her wand and Rista appeared.. " That was close.." She said.

Rista let out all her breath at once. "I was so afraid we were going to be caught. Sure, I'm out on your permission, but..." She left the rest of her thought dangling. " That boy was familiar, but he's not in my year. I don't know his name."

Zelda looked at Rista... " It would have been my fault.. Now ... let us get you back to your dorm.. If I know Snape he will be coming any moment.. " Zelda said. After that there was a knock on her door... Zelda looked at Rista with worried eyes ...

Rista didn't dare speak, but she looked back at Zelda with a slight panic in her face. She tried to ask what to do without saying anything.

Zelda saw the panic and Zelda walked over to her desk.. " Under here.." She mouthed.. ... .. at that time There was another knock.. " Rundell... this is urgent."... .. .. than the door opened.

Rista made it under the desk just in time before the second knock. It didn't seem to sound like Snape, but Rista'd been wrong before. She couldn't see anything from her hiding place, though. She'd just have to listen.

Snape walked in and Zelda stood behind her desk... " Hello " Zelda said with a forced pleasant voice..." Zelda eyed Zelda quite carefully and watched her for a second before speaking.. " Hello Rundell.... " ... " Why have you come?" Zelda asked... " Well.. I just heard that a student named Rista was out of bed.." Snape said.. Zelda tried to remain calm...

Rista's heart began racing at the sound of her name. So it was Snape after all. She'd hoped it wasn't. How does he know? She tried to stay calm, but she wanted to come up with a way to save Professor Rundell. She'd been so nice to her.

Zelda could almost since Ristas heart rate increasing and Zelda tried to keep hers down... " How did you find out about this?" Zelda asked.. " I have my talents.." Snape said with his lip curling... He walked closer to her desk... He was three feet away... " Do you hear something?" He asked Zelda.

Rista was terrified. She knew she was done for and just prayed for something to divert his attention. Suddenly she heard a loud crash on the floor above her.

Zelda thought she could hear the hallula chorus playing .. " Snape said... " Whats that?... Zelda didn't respond knowing that if Snape was to read her mind he would know she was telling the truth and that he would stay there... " He ran out the room and Zelda looked at Rista..." Hurry.. " She said..

Rista didn't waste any time. After muttering a quick goodbye and checking to make sure the coast was clear, she sprinted full-tilt back to the common room. She whispered the password and fell in through the portrait hole. Panting and clutching her side. She collapsed onto the nearest armchair.

Zelda ran to the floor above and met up with Snape... " So where is she.?" He asked.. " I don't know.. I think she is in her dorm room.." Zelda said. Snape read her and walked away very mad... Zelda went to bed.

When Rista woke the next morning, she saw her owl a the window. She let her in and was showered immediately. It had begun to rain sometime in the previous night. She pulled the rolled parchment off the leg and read it twice before the message sunk in. Then she began jumping up and down. She wrote a quick reply to her mother.

Congratulations mom! I'm going to be a big sister! I can't wait to see you again.

She headed downstairs and plopped down by the fireplace. Unable to quit smiling.

Caleb walked into the room and sees a fellow grifindor, sitting in an armchair by the fire, smiling to hereself.
"hello there. Im new here but my half sister sent me a message informing me that there was a safe school in which to practice our arts. i beleive you might know my sister. she goes by the name of Shadow Roth. We share the same father."

"Oh. Yeah, I know her. I see the resemblence," Rista replied. "I'm Rista Sintala, by the way."

"pleased to meet you Rista. Tell me, what do you think of my sister? And could you help me to enter the order of the phoenix please? i wish to join." caleb asked in his rasping monotone.

"I like her," Rista replied. "She really seems quite nice. In regards to the Order, it's not too difficult. There is an application, but it's nothing daunting."

Natalie, a new first year Gryffindor, only freshly sorted, walks into the common room and sits in a chair near the window out of sight of anyone else. It feels weird to be here to her, she's muggle born. She sits quietly, reading a large volume in apparent amazement, (hogwarts: a history) and thinks about how unpopular she was at her muggle school.

From acrossed the room Morgan, also new but a transfer student from a muggle school in America, looks over at Natalie and wonders if she should go over and say hi. She pulls out her potions book and skims through it.
'Well here I come 7th year' she thinks to herself

Natalie notices Morgan. She goes over to here.

"Hi, how are you?" Natalie asks.

"I'm good, kinda nervous, it's my first day, how are you?" Morgan says

"I'm good, and don't worry....you'll fit right in," said Natalie with a grin. Then she spotted something strange. It looked green, in fact, a bit too green to be in the Gryffindor common room.
Then she realise what it was....ANOTHER SNEAK!

"Oi, who are you, and what are you doing here?" she asked, "yeah, thats right, I can see you, I have a very good pair of eyes in my head!"

S.master shape shifted back into human form.
"that's impressive, nice to meet ya, S.master, I am, and Slytherin Sneaker I play as. Btw, did you say another sneak? There's some one else before me?"

(No, but I like to make thing up-its now exactly lying.....more like.....being careless with the truth)

"Why are you in here, you not a Gryffindor.....but give me a good reason and I won't hex you," said Natalie, taking out her wand and fingering it threateningly.
