Library

Willow entered the library, a huge pile of books in her bag. Dropping them on the table with a loud bang, she walked around the shelves; selected a few books and sat down.

She took a quill from the middle of the table carefully dipped it in the ink and began to write her Charms essay.

Zelda walked up to Willow and saw that she was doing the Charms essay that she had set... " Do you need help?" Zelda asked.

" Its great" Zelda said.

Zelda walked off towards the teachers section.

" Oh yes " Zelda said as she pointed her wand in the air and a book appeared.. " Here you go..." Zelda said as she smiled at Willow.

Cassie walks into the library looking for a good looooooong read. "Does any one know one?" she says in a voice considered too loud by many and heard many Shhhhhhhhhs echo around the library.

Mrs. Rundell the charms teacher came over to Cassie and asked.. " What did you want?" Zelda asked Cassie.

"Willow, that looks perfect!"

Cassie walks off to get the quidditch books.

Cassie decides to check out Quidditch Through the Ages first!

"This looks very interesting!!!"

Shadow walks the library, chooses a book and sits down to read it.

Rista walked into the library. She was finding her Potions essay a little more difficult than she expected, so she wanted to get try to find some extra reference books. She walked over to what was an appropriate section and found a book entitled Poisoned Yourself Again? "Well, that should be good," she said as she walked to a table with it in her hand.

Shadow looked up to see a third year frowning over an essay.
"Need a hand?" She asked quietly.

"If you mean me," Said Shadow, "Then I am Shadow Roth. Who are you?"

"Well," Rista replied, "I am trying to write an essay on what to do if you're poisoned, but I just felt I needed to read up a little more. I may need help, though. I do struggle with potions."

"I know a lot about poison, thanks to my father."

"Is he a potioneer?" Rista inquired.

"No, but I'd rather not say who he is..."

"Er, okay," Rista replied. "Sorry if I overstepped any bounaries."

"It's ok, I just don't like talking about it much."

"That's fine. But if you do ever need anyone to talk to I'm always around," Rista replied, bracingly. "It amazes me that there are so many types of poison in the magical world. Muggles have a lot of kinds, too, but a lot of them have double uses. I wonder if there are double uses for any in the wizarding world."

"I would think so, it would be logic to think that wizarding poisons are not much different from muggle ones."

Rista sat thoughtfully for a moment, then began to read a chapter in the book she got. The chapter was entitled, "Common Antidotes".

Shadow got up to get another book, and came back with one entitled 'Half breeds: a guide to survival and adaptation'. She sat down to read it.

Zelda Rundell walked over to a desk with quite a few books and started to read.

Shadow looked up briefly to see who had joined them, but quickly turned back to her book.

" What to teach tomorrow for the charms class .." She thought.

"What to teach tomorrow for the charms class .."
"Not again!" Shadow closed her eyes to block out the other girl's thoughts.

Rista finished up what she could of her essay. "I'll finish the rest later, I think," she thought aloud. She wanted to get some relaxation time, and as she had all her other work done, she decided she'd allow herself that.

She then looked for a book to read and checked it out. She stopped back by the table she was at and said a quick farewell to Professor Rundell and Shadow. Then she headed back to the common room.

Shadow had been reading her book very thoroughly, she was looking for something. She slammed it shut just as Rista was saying good bye.

Summonsing charms... that is good ,but ... something better than that.

"Summoning..."
"NO!" Shadow hit herself before getting up to leave.

Zelda stood up from a scream... It was Shaddows... " What is it Shadows." Zelda Rundell asked.

"Nothing!" Shadow whispered quickly.

" Do you need help with your work?" Zelda asked Shadows.

"No, it's ok, just some personal research. Thanks any way."

" Okay.." Zelda said as she went back to look at some books.

Shadow got up and returned with another book, this time called 'So you're a half breed?'.

" Humm... what was a hard one... the Disalisument charm.. there we go." Zelda said as she got out her wand and started to practice.. " I love this one." She thought.

Shadow watched Zelda practising some sort of charm and made a mental note to practise her magic as well.

Caleb walked into the library looking for the facinating book called'bloodwine through the ages, the very best years'. he was rather thirsty and made a mental note to ask the hospital wing for a glass of two.

Cassie walks into the library to find a book on spells so she can use them on her annoying brother.

Shadow flicks through her book, looking for a particular section of the 1000 page manual.

Zelda found what she was looking for and than walked out of the library.

Shadow sighed, leaning back from her book. There was nothing that she could find that could help her.
