Weather: The downpours have begun! Look out for the waterlogged pitch!

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rule: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin!

(ravenclaw chaser)
Kim is walking down to the locker rooms, irritated. Stupid rain, why can't we have a sunny game. Oh, I know that would be too simple. She walks into the locker room and changes out of her soaked clothes into her Quidditch robes. She brushes her hair and throws it in a bun with a sports headband on her head. When she fineshes gatting dressed she grabs her newly bought Nimbus 2001.
She walks out onto the pitch flying around loooking for her team members. She's the first one there. As she's looking at the crowd she becomes exhilerated, until she staps into a big mud hole, soaking her entire left foot.
Well I'm glad this game is in the air, but that's not much better is it? Ok, this whole game is in my head, I gotta not be bothered by the weather, I gotta worry about the game, getting the Quaffle, now where is my team? And where's Slytherin? Oh boy this should be a good game, very interesting, yeah, we can beat them!!!
Kim starts getting the crowd riled up cheering and yelling with them. You could hear the chant of "Ra-Ra-Ravenclaw!!!" far off.

Jess (one of the ravenclaw beaters) heads across the grounds towards the teams changing rooms. The rain was coming down in sheets with an occational gust of wind. Great, rain and wind. This is going to be a challange.
Stepping into the changing rooms and pulling on dry robes helped to get the blood and adrenaline pumping. Tying her hair back into a pony tail she grabs her Nimbus 2000 and heads out to the pitch. Catching a glimpse of another player she heads that way hoping that it is one of her team mates.

(ravenclaw chaser)
Kim sees a Quidditch player fly up to her in ravenclaw colors, she qoesn't look familiar. "Hi, I'm Kim, a Chaser. So are you ready to kick butt? We've won our games up to here. I don't know how good Slytherin is but I think they'll be a challenge," said Kim." I have to give the other team credit. Never under-estimate a possible enemy, I always say, what do you think?"

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Elana sloshed down to the pitch, taking a disgruntled look up at the sky every few moments. Did it really have to rain so hard - now?! They had a game, for goodness sake, and would be up in that rain for hours! Muttering incoherently about it as she entered the pitch, she opened up her locker and grabbed her (charmed to always be warm and dry) blue and bronze striped towel to dry off with before she pulled on her Ravenclaw blue Quidditch robes. She doubted that anyone would even be able to see her number four printed in silver on her back, what with the rain and all. She sighed and grabbed her broom, hoisted it up to her shoulder, and headed back out into the pouring rain.

Well, at least they weren't playing on the ground, she realized as she, with difficulty, pulled her foot free from the mud to swing it over her broom. She kicked off from the soggy ground of the pitch, and looked around to see who had arrived. The sight of two Ravens was enough to brighten her - er - dampened spirits, and the fact that there weren't any Slytherins there yet helped too. Elana flew over to them, a strained smile on her usually cheery face.

"Rather a pity about the rain, eh?" she said, shaking her head. "I just hope it'll let up before too long..." She took another look up, getting an eyefull of rain and a sight of the dreary dark grey clouds. By the looks of it, it didn't seem to have any intention of letting up...unfortunately. "Or maybe it won't. But it's good to see you two," she added.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim saw Elana fly up to her and Jess. "Yeah, we won't have any luck on a game without bad weather. We gotta talk about how we, me and you, as the Chasers are gonna score, so lets talk tactics."

While they were talking, Kim wondered if the correct reserves were gonna show up since a few (active) members said they couldn't make it.

(Ravenclaw Captain and Beater)

::Listening closly to the hints given for these darn clues, Herby realizes that she should start to make her way down to the pitch.::

::How in the world could she play Quidditch when all she can think about is the Hunt. She hates leaving things unfinished and surely there was no way she was going to let her house down.::

::Sighing, Herby ran outside and headed towards the arena. A fast as she could change into her uniform and bam headed out the door. As she approached the pitch, she noticed that there was no Slytherins.::

I knew it. They are working on the hunt. GAh! I should have stayed to.

::Grumbling a bit, Herby gripped her broom and lifted off into the air. As she found her spot, she decided that it was time to get her head into the game. For if no one shows up then this will be an easy quick game and she would be back doing the hunt in no time.::

Kim waved as Herbie flew into the air. She wondered if the slytherins were gonna show, or, the ref. Come on, it'll be a quick game without them. If only the referee would start the game. It's not our fault the Slytherins have no sense of time, to show up promptly.... She flew around doing some loop-de-loops in the air waiting....

(Ravenclaw reserve beater)

Jess squinted and looked around hoping to see some sign of the opposing team. Sighing she started flying around the pitch battling the down pouring rain. Not even the ref. is here yet; the weather must be bad. At least this will go quickly. It had to be storming for my first game too.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)
Kim was now getting irritated that it's been so long and nobody had showed up. God, where are they? Anybody? She was shivering because it was cold, the rain soaked into her skin. She decided to go to the locker room. She told her teammates she'd be right back.
Ahh, much better. She changed into her spare robes and charmed them to repel water and keep her warm. She also gulped down her hot chololate that she brought in a thermos. After being satisfied she flew out back onto the pitch.
" Sorry guys, I couldn't take it. I had to change and charm my robes, cuz I was freezing. Do you think we could be allowed to just hang out in the locker room for a while, and check to see when they come? We could warm up." Kim shouted through the rain to her teammates, hoping they'd agree with her.

That sounds like an idea. I am soaked through and I have lost the feeling in my fingers. Jess was all set to head to the warmth and dryness of the locker rooms and escape the rainy weather out here. This is madness where is everybody?!? Fuming Jess started for the ground. The blue robes clinging to her tightly and her hair plastered to her head.
Once on the ground she started walking towards the locker rooms only to walk into an ankle deep puddle. This weather sucks! she thought to herself. I was excited that I was going to get to play but now I just want to get this done and over with.

{Ravenclaw Seeker and Co-Captain}

Rigby sat on the locker benches, struggling with her socks. She was mentally exhausted from horcrux hunting, and physically tired from fighting a cold. Still, she was looking forward to playing in the rain. Despite the visibility being bad for snitch catching, Rigby enjoyed the rain. She'd prefer being curled up in the Ravenclaw Common room reading a history book, but playing quidditch was second best.

She put plastic bags over her socks before putting on her shoes. Wet feet were never a good thing, and the bags would protect them. Rigby grabbed her broom, yawning, and trudged towards the pitch. Hopefully she'd be able to avoid the Slytherin bludgers, she wasn't up to taking any hits.

The rain was slanting in the tunnel leading to the pitch, soaking Rigby at once. Oh, it was cold! Hopping on her broom she flew the rest of the way out of the tunnell, shooting up towards the sky once she cleared the exit.

She was surprised to see only Ravenclaws in the air, considering that she was late to the game. The horcrux hunt seemed to be consuming everyone. She shook her head, and set about finding the snitch. The sooner caught, the sooner she could get back to her own hunting. She waved to her teammates, squinting her eyes to keep out the water.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)
Kim walked into the locker room stomping her feet. I am about to go up to the school, hunt the slytherin players down and drag their sorry butts dowm here. I feel like I'm on a date and just got stood up!! Where are those...

Kim ranted on inside her head, pacing the locker room. She nodded at Jess as a hello then continued her pacing. It's the last day tomorrow, what's gonna happen if they don't show? a forfeit? Maybe, that'd be an aesy win, but that's a sorry way to win. I want a challenge, I want a war, are they scared? Wouldn't that be a funny reason. I could see it now,"We were scared. We, we heard how you've won all your games and weren't prepared..."

Kim laughed out loud and looked over at Jess to see if she heard. She didn't. But that's not likely, they're probably caught up in spirit week or something.

" I'll go see if anybody has arrived", Kim told Jess. She walked down the hall to see.

Jess nodded at Kim as she left. This is starting to get really pathetic. Some first game, she grumbled to herself from where she sat on the bench. Standing she pulled the dry spare robes from the locker. Well at least I can be warm and dry while I wait she mused to herself as she charmed the robes.
Once dressed in the new robes she moved to the doorway and stood there watching the rain. She didn't reall want to go back outside but if they arrived and she was in here she would never know. Sighing and grumbling under her breath she stepped back out into the rain and made her way to the pitch and the game she had become so good at playing-the waiting game.
